Can we talk about how normal and incredibly human Luffy was in this scene?

His earth shattering grief didnt awaken any supernatural haki or abilities within him, instead it overwhelmed him, it was destroying him. The bleeding from his throat while his eyes lose focus and his body goes into shock - grief is ugly, loud, destructive and it tears you apart and leaves you vulnerable out in the open- thats what happening to him.

This was Luffy's, a 17 year old kid's moment of overwhelming realization that humans are powerless and weak on the face of death as his brother bled out in his arms while he (and world's most powerful pirate whitebeard) watched it helplessly. This was the biggest loss of his life as he understood that sometimes no matter how hard you try, things don't work out for you. This was when Luffy witnessed the consequence of the path he (and ace) had chosen, that a pirate life was actually much harder than just adventure and freedom and that there was a heavy price to pay, that death could take anyone anytime.

This wasnt just sadness, this was the end of the world for Luffy and he wasn't the same person after this moment.

Poison

Two new types of poison started being sold in Gotham's underworld; one is bright pink and the other a toxic green, both of which have caused the Batfamily a major headache because no one can find a cure or a reason why it suddenly started being sold.

Unfortunately, many of their Rogues have been using it for their attacks and this product has proven to be deadly.

It tends to act immediately on contact with an individual and cause extreme pain (some have commented that they feel like dying), as well as being effective on everyone it comes in contact with (including mutants, metas, and aliens) and not possessing an antidote. Bruce has tried to analyze it on many occasions but the batcomputer never comes up with results, as if the product is corrupted.

Strangely, it was recently discovered that Jason has immunity, and contrary to expectations, the poison seems to make him stronger? it even affects the influence of the pits!

This, of course, did not please the vigilante, the color of one of the poisons was too familiar for him to pass up so he decided to seek its source directly. Unlike Bruce, who was dedicated to the search for an antidote, Jason felt there was something darker about the whole situation, so he decided to track down the vendors and follow them.

Elsewhere, two halfas look at each other wearily as needles pierced their skin, it's a bit ironic that they let their guard down when the Fenton's declared they liked ghosts and forgot they had other enemies.

Just saw your post about Mingi and it hit me that I don't know who your bias in Ateez 😭

asjdaushdadsha I always said before the concert that I had five biases and the other three were wrecking me... and those five before the concert was Jongho, Yeosang, Wooyoung, San and Mingi in that order but well... that kinda changed during the concert lol.

Now it's more of Yeosang and Jongho at the number one spot with Mingi close to entering first spot as well and the others are all sharing second/third spot😅 I haven't decided yet if Mingi gets to join the other two at first spot yet

I love them all so much tho but Yeosang and Jongho got that special place in my heart💓

I’m not okay and I wanna rant about it

The fact that Wrecker heard the beeping and knew almost immediately that it was a bomb shows how he really is a good demolitionist and such. The way that his face changed from confusion to realization to a hint of fear just makes me want to scream. The way that he ran to grab Gonky to keep him safe as well as himself makes me sob because Wrecker fully sees Gonky as a part of the family and someone to protect 😭

taika is truly giving one of the most relatable portrayals of long-term depression that i've seen, as ed teach. like the high highs and the low lows. the particular brand of self-destruction. the coming back down to earth after either a high or a low period and being sober and flat. it hurts, but it's working so well for the character.
