16.01 & 16.02 spoilery thoughts

Mac and Dennis could’ve gotten together at the end of season 15 and the episodes would be the exact same because they’re acting like SUCH a couple

THEY SHARED A BED AND NEVER MADE A THING OF IT BECAUSE IT’S BECOME NORMAL FOR THEM AGAIN????

Mac is acting like a man in a relationship alright but only if Dennis is said boyfriend

Charlie gluing a pillow to the wall was such a weird sweet little polite thing I love how his idea of hosting is this and sharing his cat food

Frank WILLINGLY believed he was being put down like a dog and was all for it OH MY GOSH

these episodes are so so funny but also incredibly sad and I love how Sunny always does this balance so well. Charlie being afraid to sleep alone in the dark. Mac being afraid to talk when Mrs. Mac’s finger is up. THE LETTERS GETTING FLUSHED

Dennis and Dee pairing up to trick Frank oh I love the trash twins so much

just perfect perfect PERFECT and I wish we had more than 8 episodes but I cannot wait for the rest of the season I love our weird little show so much

I'm not even that committed a fan of always sunny but even I can immediately pull up two pieces of evidence that say that chase utley should never have thought mac was a kid...

1. I'm pretty sure in the World Series defense back in season 5 mac said he had been writing to utley every day for years and it seems like he's continued that so that's more than 11 years of writing (probably way more)

2. chase utley already met "mac." He was in "the gang gets stranded in the woods" and he met dennis as mac so at the very least he should've known mac was an adult from that and if he does know mac from that letter in the video then he should at least vaguely remember him from the charity event where "mac" got super drunk and fought with his friend

Idk they could just not be caring about continuity anymore but also they still have continuity with side characters so I don't really know how this could've slipped through. Especially since chase utley played himself in both episodes like you think the actual guy might remember too (and idk I'll have to watch it again but the letter video looked like old footage that could've been taken in season 6)

#*provides canon proof of Jason absolutely traumatizing teens in canon*#/s #*the whopping two instances are titans tower and the Mia Dearden incident*#both of which happened around the same time as uth. effectively making Jason approximately … eighteen or nineteen.#while Mia was 17 and Tim was like 16. wow how could this seasoned old man be so cruel to these literal babies #this is coming from someone who cares deeply about how different authors’ visions for bruce can turn him into a male power fantasy #but according to this person that's technically all fanon because the authors are fans of Batman who write him how they want #<- a needlessly complicated way of saying it doesn’t matter that almost every writer has written Batman as a cop symbol #because they don’t agree with those authors’ visions it’s just bad characterization #not consistency #anyway back to how any Jason fan who doesn't ascribe to your flawless interpretation of these iffy events is actually missing the point #mhm okay ignored winick showing Jason desperately saving children like three times in lost days #and other authors later wrote him being good with kids too #oh but even if he had the same trait in post crisis and n52 these characterizations are actually irreconcilable because they said so #kelseethe #for someone who seemingly cares so much about numbers and patterns #they tend to skip a lot of important panels in their ‘analyses’#like the panels in batman 650 where Jason mentioned the thousands joker killed and the friends he's crippled #and the lost days panels of him being upset about joker going on to hurt more families and fathers and sons #all this to claim Jason’s ultimatum in utrh was entirely self-centered #I guess it just goes to show how much evidence you have to ignore/disregard to come to the conclusion that Jason is a bad person #but yeah your vision is the be all & end all and anyone who thinks otherwise isn’t ~normal~

and idk idk cause the way that fandom interacts with characters is so nasty cause i guarantee if ricky were put in the exact same position as ej this season y’all would not be as upset with him. cause yeah ej wasn’t around as much as he (or gina) wanted but that’s because he was busy having to quickly put together a show that a) none of his friends were cooperating on creating (except carlos briefly but like that quickly goes away wtf?) and b) means so much to gina as she co-stars in it and he wants to do his best for her. but suddenly he’s big and mean cause he spent less than two weeks not giving her his full attention and idk if your boyfriend has been with you for months now and you can’t deal with him being busy (with something that benefits you) for two weeks are you really ready for a relationship?

#strong girl nam soon #voice 3 #ryu si-o #do kang-woo #kdrama #anyway lot of this ep 16 reminded me of Voice...like... from the minute the preview had swat waving the lights #and then the bloody boat scene #spoilers #Ogata ties up generalized father+brother issues and being overlooked by saviour+that shocker graphic ending #I mean i guess it was a forgone conclusion due to the drugs+ that last minute kick the dog with Hwaja(but what about Kyle? sm1 adopt him!)#I think after spotting too many badly done refs/parodies I ought have guessed we were getting Voice(the parallels are only in my head)...#Waikiki was A+; Bongsoon and Parasite etc not so much; it didn't fit organically just like Beyond Evil+Bong-soon+X-files didn't fit in BYT #Behind Your Touch was however solid in knowing like Noda how to comedy and parody(crime part was too weak) nd intersting flow nd characters #on that note mercy was at least had closure w/Binbin instead of left hanging lik KSW; now this is character+tragedy instead of plot device #Voice2-3 was weak when it came to the underworld; 2 was carried by Bang Je-su. Si-o is not Bang Je-su level but both are>Kaneki+Ppang #if this gets a season 2 unlike BYT though I'll be too mad at jtbc; theres enough actual good series hanging minus next seasons #I like Bread Song's aesthetic but begs the question why weren't the mom and Bread Song the actual main characters from the start?#oh and also their whole use of names and codeword was weird and not too...well interesting for lack of a better word #the whole biblical st. paul bread thing...#(Pavel is Russian for Paul)

#this show has owned my ass since i was 16 #i literally remember seeing a gifset on here in 2016 of kids in the rain pointing a flashlight at el (who i thought was a boy)#and thinking it looks good and then started watching it #i have such vivid memories of how huge of a deal this first season was #EVERYONE at my high school was talking about it so many kids were wearing merch teachers would talk about it it was such a huge deal #i also remember waiting for the season 2 trailer during the superbowl #that was also such a monumental even people who dont give a shit about football were watching waiting for the trailer (i was one of them)#i remember i had a test in psych the monday after s2 came out and my teacher said ‘you can just go on your phones and watch stranger things #when youre done’ and we all were like ‘we already finished it’#i also remember when s3 came out and everyone on twitter was talking about how no one was socializing at their familys 4th of july parties #bc everyone was watching the new season people didnt even go out for fireworks lmao #byler #stranger things

Excited about Blue Exorcist coming back? it looks like a really interesting show

Ah, yes, yes! Actually this blog was originally dedicated to Blue Exorcist heck, the blog's name and as you see - as soon as it returned my brainrot became unstoppable 🤣

I really recommend it, especially the manga. It's a rare case for shounen when you have more than two plot relevant characters, when the female charas are independent and represent different types of strength, when the team's chemistry feels realistic and entertaining to watch. Also the romance is really nice and well written! Bless Katou-sensei! Started reading her work when I was like- 14 yo and she never disappointed my expectations.

As you see, so far I really enjoy the anime adaptation by Studio Voln. They're doing great!

Also I'm so sorry for my followers, but it feels like I gonna spam you with AoEx/Bonizumo content for a while. Please bear with me 😖💗

#it's a bit complicated to start with anime though #bc the second half of the first season are fillers with the original ending #and it's no good #so somewhere after episode 15-16 #you need to drop everything #and start 2nd season aka Kyoto saga #it follows manga without any fillers #and then the new season #Inari arc is really good #starts with fun but plot twists and angst are coming

Hey, I'm doing some stuff related to an au I'm creating but I'm getting stuck on some ideas, so does anyone have any ideas of what kind of things companions (companions from any dw media really, classic, NuWho and eu) could have in relation to a power or extreme skill.

Extreme can be in both the type of skill or even the skill level of something more everyday and could be both fantasy inspired or not. something that in this au they would have developed considerable proficiency in by age 11.

#this is for my Nevermoor!Au #I have knacks for a couple companions #plus doctor and master #planned out #but for many not so or it's just whether they're gonna be arcane or mundane #I've sorted out a vague Doctor timeline #they need to be ~29 for the equivalent of season 16 #and I've worked out at which points they're actively part of the League of Adventurers as opposed to or as well as Wunsoc #as well as their completely rogue periods #they're gonna be Patron for quite a few characters #Susan #and then the successive teenage girls who One and Two adopted like because they reminded them of Susan or whatever #So Zoe and Vicki and so on #and then timeskip to a good deal later they're Ace's patron #and then even later Bill #and during their Five!Era for 5's gaggle of orphans they're gonna be their Conductor #doctor who #dw #companions #au #alternate universe #powers #Nevermoor
