I have a horrible habit of dropping any series-comics I try to make, so I thought it'd do a little story-ish ask event!!

So far, we've got the three D's: Dogday, Daddy Long Legs, and Drew.

Basic info and closeups!

Drew, he/him, 18 yrs: the horror-loving nephew of an old Playtime Co. employee. Squawks like a strangled bird when surprised.

Daddy Long Legs, aka: "Pops:" If you could find a loving father from the 20s who wasn't a misogynist. Misses his wife, but doesn't blame Drew for her death.

Dogday, aka: "Deedee" or "Dogs:" The last, overly traumatised Smiling Critter who really needs a hug. Drew found him some spare legs in a closet somewhere.

I can give john every windbreaker on earth #mariana gets the jean jacket bc I like to imagine she's a y2k kid #(sherlock I think is only 90s kid in year of birth that man's childhood was skipping class to burn shit in the wood)#(but he canonically sews which I fucking love so much. he has not bought new clothes for almost a decade #if a shirt's disintegrating no it isn't. not on his watch)#a lil sad I cant figure out how to give them hats lol I feel like thats the most victorian thing there is. a stupid hat #I can at any moment give one of them a beanie. but I refuse #there are. like a Hoard of other scribbly sketches I did to get used to drawing them. but those are for me those are not for the public #and also theyre in my sketchbook and Im too lazy to scan them #happened mostly during lunar new year lol. Man, people on marketplace really suck at taking photos of furniture.

#how do you expect to sell a table if you can't even be bothered to get it from more than one angle?#or clear the garage clutter off it? or include measurements? SO MANY DON'T INCLUDE MEASUREMENTS!#at least 85% of marketplace furniture is Mystery Sized #just looked at one that had FIVE photos from the EXACT same angle all at slightly different levels of tilt and blurriness #there was a cat walking by in the background of 3 of them #I still don't have a table for my sewing machine and I can't start filming the sewing portion of my shirt tutorial until I get one >:(#I just need something smallish and sturdy #complaining #(not the lady I bought my desk from though! she was great and had all the measurements and a good set of clear photos)

im making a rug out of old t-shirts and im not sure if i have enough scrap fabric to get it as big as i want. and now i’m thinking of how if i stole a giant’s t-shirt, i could make many many rugs. like so many rugs from that one shirt. i could sell them to other borrowers. eventually i’d expand and capitalize on this. do you know how many stolen shiny objects i can get in exchange for a 4 square inch handcrafted rug? i’d be rich

in order: Rawr.EX3/EXD (any) imagine sonic.exe + 2010s sparkledog raver culture . that's Rawr. she likes waffles and is a virus exe who lives in a bootleg rom pack of the first 3 sonic games & a sonic crackers prototype Itazura, Guardian of Mischief (she/they/it/plush) first ever pc port oc!!! what it says on the tin. secret 8th guardian who loves nothing more than causing problems and playing life-threatening pranks on people. you can tell they're after you if you hear what sounds like jingling bells and giggling around your house in the dead of night. oh and plush's kyofu's kid 👍

Sew (any, no she/her) amorphous dimension travelling critter that uses sewing / crafting to make it's "skin" , typically based off of pre-existing people in the dimension. saw sonic and his super form and thought he was the COOLEST thing alive, so it chooses to resemble him :] Sink/Waterhog/Nicky (we use he/it but it doesn't rlly care /ref) literally just me lol , but from a 3rd person perspective he's a personal take on Mr. DJ's "Sink Sonic" concept . he's like 12-13ish and has way too much lore for me to summarise but fun fact : worldbuilding wise, he's a mish-mosh of the games, the Shogakukan sonic manga and a little bit of sonic x sprinkled in. :3

I could not finish my Max Jägerman jacket before my top surgery (which is in 5 days but I am not gonna put myself through con crunch but instead of a con, it's surgery), so here's to hoping I'll still have motivation once I'm recovered
