#SG Prowl
Note
Nononono. I love SG!ConstructProwl. Because consider in IDW Baseline he never accepted them truly and they left him.
In SG they are successful at wooing him.
Oooooh.
Concept.
In SG it is the Constructicons are medics. In BL, they forcibly converted Prowl because of orders and feel in love with his brain. In there's during the SG!ProwlOP divorce, they find him beaten and broken left to die, and having seen what he went through feel sick at the idea of leaving him, and his Spark case is compromised. So they temporarily hook him into their Gestalt system since it is made to accept others, but Prowl latches on to them and is utter enraptured by their loyalty and love. He knows it exists but feeling that kind of loyalty and naivete about being goodness in the world after everything he sees is charming and what's more he wants it. So they've been chosen by a feral sleazy cat/mean girl who is very much now "Optimus who?" and eyeing them up while they squeak and push at him with a broom especially since he refuses to break the bond and gives them sad cat eyes that they know–they can feel his think which is beautifully sharp and horrifically clear and calculating–it is fake but the thought of hurting him and echoed memory of rejections and beatings and not being enough that radiates at the spark of him makes them unable to let go.
Even more Prowl is more than rwady to go full ride or die and has decided to be their murderous "he said no pickles" girlfriend and torment them into not overworking themselves and glare at the Decepticons who ask for assistance or projects and make sure they eat and are fed and have a schedule. The Constructicons overextend themselves to support everyone and have issues saying no.
Prowl does not.
The Decepticons are horrified at the implication of taking advantage and Megatron finds himself agreeing with Prowl about them taking care of themselves while they get upset at first but reluctantly admit he's right.
"Of course I am." Is Prowl’s only response as he shoves cube of Energon flavored to each of their exact tastes and locks down their work stations (Soundwave conveniently distracts Shockwave so he can't help them hack back in) and shuffles them to berth.
Hm, I have thoughts now about Workaholic!SG!Constructicons and their small bossy new self-assigned wife.
Exactlyyyyyyy
In SG, they said "we may or may not be able to fix him but we can try"
Also yes yes on SG medic!constructicons.
Exactly, SG ProwlOp is a toxic relationship I can absolutely see happening as an on/off thing that's been going on since before the war but of course this is the final off switch.
They just have to save him, they've gotta. And they do. Prowl happens to latch on very tightly and does not want to let go lol
It is such the opposite of canon and now he's the one who is sticking close by, because he has felt Positive Emotions that do not come from someone else's Negative Emotions for the first time and he's hooked.
"Would you like me to kill that guy???"
"... No thank you, but it's the thought that counts?"
Yes I'm fiddling around with the constructicon's colors and I am so tempted to keep the purple and not the green
Awww yes and he is making sure they don't implode by being selfish for them (oddly selfless of him, but he'd deny that)
Sdfg yep yep he is their evil bastard they have adopted and he's bullying them into self carem

Ikko! Ikko! I've always had a thing for shaterred glass characters.... Have you ever imagined yourself with sg prowl? It could kidnap you for whatever purpose only imagine the optics red and you You have nowhere to run. 😈😈
Sammy!❤️

If SG prowl is the opposite. Then I'd reckon he's one big of a dumbass. Calm scheming asshole. I mean he's still cunning but braincell probably shared with Springer is still in the equation.
I haven't read the SG comics but I'd definitely would 100% want to be kidnapped by him. Not because he's hot as fuck but because his 'security' is so shit everytime you're taken by him finding a way to get out is is as easy as finding Starscream's ego in that confined metal Twinmk body of his.
At this point you know his place like the palm of your hand. Hopping on and off whenever you please, pretending 'oh no!! Prowl's out to get me again!!' and after like a bunch of sticky pounding you waddle away to the deceptions while Prowl is having an aneurysm wondering how in unicron's two ass you got out.
Prowl. You have one door. It's not locked. And the lock — it's also cheap. Why did he even have a door anyway? Don't they use like, idk, gates. Even if he did he wouldn't even remember the fucking password.
And Springer is mommy's boy. Always the one grabbing the human. Always the one running after them when they'd left for the umpteenth time again. And, just as always, has one singular braincell that just explodes when he even tries to form a thought.
He'd be the more saner one. At this point he's not longer holding up his blaster when he sees you again for the hundredth time, on the deception battlefield. the deceptions themselves aren't even concerned anymore.
"They're taken!" Poor new deception barges into the briefing room and everyone rises up with an alarmed look.
"Which human?" One of the cons clarified with a narrow look.
"(Y/n)!"
The new con was expecting everyone to scramble out with a series of shouts, push and shove, but all they get is a blank look, a collective vents, and they all sit back down again, neutral stature. "Give it a few days. They'll be back."
And you did. Like a cat disappearing from the house, coming back home with new food on its maw. Said food is classified blueprints from the autobots. The only person wary though is Megatron. He's not sure how you're able to handle this everytime. But he got used to it, silently watching as you stroll into base with questioning bruises on your neck.
"You're aware you're fraternizing with the enemy?" He approaches you own evening.
You shrug. "A good stress relief. But hey, at least I've got you in intel.."
That shut him up real good.

What's something an Autobot has done that annoyed the living hell out of you but you also laughed?
During a meeting with my High Council, my chief security officer, Prowl, glitched and repeated a statement three times.
I must have looked at him.

Day 7
Ship: Optimus Prime x Prowl x Jazz
AUs: First Touch, Shattered Glass
Even the crazy have soulmates and Optimus was probably the craziest of them all. It's quite ironic that he never touched his guard before. Prowl is torn between obsession and jealousy. And Jazz is just very entertained.
Optimus Prime walked up and down in front of his throne, deep in thought, the rest of the big room empty. While the base outside his room was bustling with life, he had specifically ordered not to be disturbed. Not only was he getting annoyed with his subordinates' incompetence, he also needed to plan and think about a very specific matter.
He had learned that some of his Autobots seemed to be soulmates, which led him to evaluate what to do about it. On one hand, it wouldn't do for them to be loyal to anyone but him. On the other hand, having mechs that work perfectly together and are emotionally attached to each other so that they can control one another could be useful. That was something he had already decided.
No question asked, having a soulmate made it easier to control both bots involved. Another thing he had decided, or rather promised, a long time ago, and for once he intended to keep it, whether out of curiosity or a genuine sense of duty, was that both Ratchet and Wheeljack would be allowed to study and experiment with one soulmate pair.
Until now, he had assumed they would use a captured one, but with soulmates popping up in his own ranks, that would be the source instead. As long as it wasn't anyone tactically useful, he didn't care about it either.
He had a certain interest in soulmates too, especially how the connection worked and if one could replicate a soulmate bond. With the combined processor power and insanity of Ratchet and Wheeljack, it wouldn't take long until he would know. Optimus stopped his pacing and sat down on his throne with a smirk.
Yes, this would prove quite an advantage in the war. His mind made up, he sent out a COM message to each of the now sparkbonded mechs that informed them all that he would permit the bond for now, but should they show any signs of wavering loyalty or similar, he would make sure to punich each of them personally. He didn't wait for confirmation before closing his COM down again.
Having that issue under control, he pondered what to do next, looking at his own gray spots that would be filled with color once his soulmate touched him. A ping alerted him that someone was requesting to speak with him.
A frown built on his faceplate. He had finished addressing the issue, but he had also ordered not to be distributed, so who dared interrupt him now? He sent the command to open the door, and a new recruit entered the room.
It was by now a well-known fact in the higher circles of the Autobots that their leader was watched almost constantly, sometimes without permission too. So far he hadn't done anything against it, so it seems he didn't mind too much. Or maybe he was simply waiting for the perfect moment.
None the less, Prowl enjoyed following his leader through the cameras around the base, watching his every step whenever he could. Or, as some have assumed, he was watching not their leader but one of the guards.
A certain energetic spy-guard that seemed to enjoy annoying bots left and right. To tell the truth, it was a mix of both. He had long ago claimed Jazz for himself; the bot was his even before they had joined the Autobots. It irked him how the others treated Jazz, like they had the right to look at him or touch him. It made the mechs' Energon boil.
However, he was also immensely jealous of Jazz's constant closeness to their leader. Optimus didn't insist on constant guards, but Jazz still followed him whenever he was at the base, and Optimus let him. But it was the same the other way around, too. As the leader, Optimus was interacting with everyone around the base and beyond, and it took everything in his processor and logical thinking to ignore the urge to keep both his leader and Jazz in his habsuit forever.
He was jealous of how easily Optimus could keep everyone's attention on him. His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a door opening. He first assumed it was his, as Optimus had ordered no interruptions, but noticing his door was still closed, he turned his attention back to the camerafeet. A frown quickly settled on his faceplate as he watched the recruit stride into the room.
The disrespect towards his mechs made him seethe inwardly. Continuing to watch the camera footage in the background, he flagged the file of the recruit for later. He would have a "talk" with him later, if Optimus didn't kill him himself.
Jazz loved entertainment no matter the form, but his favorite form was watching Optimus tear people apart. Be it bloody and agonizing or slow and tortuous, the sight was always breathtaking. A close runner-up was the way Prowl seemed to struggle with possessiveness towards both him and their leader. As if the strategic genius had yet to understand that he could stake claim on both of them, a thought that made him giggle a little.
Before he could think any longer about it, a new recruit came toward him. He had been moved to the base just a cycle or so ago, and Jazz hadn't gone through the trouble of learning his name. The way he held himself, he wouldn't be around long. As if to prove him correct, the newbie completely ignored him and sent a ping directly to their leader, who had specifically requested not to be disturbed. It was like he asked to be killed.
When the door opened and the mech entered, Jazz stepped inside after him. For one, it was his duty as the guard, and two, he wouldn't want to miss Optimus' reaction either. A shiver of anticipation ran through his frame as he silently moved to flank his leader. Before the recruit could even get a word in, Optimus spoke: "I ordered not to be disturbed. Do you think you are above my orders?" The recruit shook his helm and once more moved to speak, but again he was hindered by Optimus. "Then why, pray tell, are you disturbing me?" The Prime rose from his throne and walked to stand in front of the recruit.
As he looked up at their leader, the recruit appeared to be shaking. It was entertaining as pits for Jazz, and he looked forward to seeing the recruits' punishment. To his utter disappointment, Optimus didn't move to kill him but instead ordered, "Out of my sight, your new duties lie with Ratchet." Another good punishment, but not as entertaining as watching Optimus Prime.
None the less, the recruit scurried off quickly, and just as Jazz was about to leave, Optimus said loudly, "For once in person, Prowl. Come in. " While the first part was in an almost casual tone, the second sentence was an order, no doubt.
The mech in question had wanted to "talk" with the recruit before Ratchet got his servos on him, but Prowl would never deny an order from his Prime. He entered the room without hesitation, the door closing behind him.
A quick glance around made it clear that the only mechs in the room were Jazz and his leader. He bowed his head slightly in greeting. "My Prime, what can I do for you?" A smirk growing on Optimus' faceplate rarely meant anything good, and while Jazz liked Prowl, he would enjoy watching Optimus tear him apart just as much. "That's what I was wondering. What can you do for me if you watch camera feeds instead of doing your job?" at which point Jazz simply couldn't suppress a laugh.
Immediately, both mech helms snapped towards him, and not a klik later, there was a heavy servo gripping his shoulder and their leader glaring down at him. He was starting to say something but stopped short, staring at something with open curiosity replacing his anger. More than curious himself, he twisted his helm to see what Optimus was looking at.
He hadn't expected to see the gray patch on his shoulder suddenly be the exact shade of purple that Optimus was. To remove all doubts about what was going on, Optimus's servo inside had changed from gray to the smoky gray that his own frame was. Sure, he liked Optimus, but he hadn't expected the other to be his soulmate at all.
Prowl watched the interaction with anger at first, knowing that Jazz planned to tell of his obsession, but now he was filled with jealousy. At the same time, he was thinking of several ways he could use their new connection to ensure both were his. A deep chuckle refocused him on the new pair of soulmates. "Now this is a surprise for sure. Here, I thought for certain that you two would be soulmates. Although... ", Optimus trailed off and turned his gaze away from his smaller soulmate to Prowl. With a predatory grin on his faceplate, he quickly reached out and pulled Prowl next to Jazz, both of them bumping into each other.
The gray spots on their sides bloomed into smoky gray and black, respectively. Prowl's wrist turned purple, and Optimus' other servo turned black. Additionally, each mech felt like something was clicking into place.
Proven right, Optimus smirked at the two smaller mechs.

SG CDRW?
So in my SG! universe, Prowl is a lot more socially intelligent and more adapt at manipulating people- I think, for these reasons, Chromedome and him never would have had a falling out. Prowl would have kept Chromedome right underneath his thumb throughout the entire war, a perfect willing mnemnosurgeon for whatever purposes he needs to serve.
I would even go so far to say this: Prowl, of course, wants only good things for Chromedome. Chromedome is his friend! But what's best for Chromedome is winning the war. And that can't happen if he's distracted, fawning over a new conjunx... Prowl needs him sharp, and focused.
So if something, perhaps, were to happen to his conjunx... and furthermore, if Chromedome then was so grief stricken that he couldn't properly work- Well, it's Prowl's duty to look out for him. Maybe nudge him in a better direction, subtly (oh so subtly) remind Chromedome of the power he holds, literally, at his fingertips. The power to just make that pain disappear, like it was never even there...
But Chromedome is smart. Really fucking smart, actually. You can't make it as a mnemosurgeon if you're not.
And things start to add up. Weird gaps in his memories, little comments from people he doesn't understand, a picture of him and a stranger embracing, smiling, happy-
He can't quite figure it out. But he knows this: something is wrong. Something is very wrong, and the war might be over now, and Prowl might smile and nod and say all the right things, and he might even be the oldest friend Chromedome has ever had! But it's not enough anymore. It's not enough, because when Prowl looks at Rewind there is something in his eyes that scares Chromedome like you wouldn't believe.
When Prowl tells him about Overlord stuck to the bottom of the Lost Light, when he instructs Chromedome to go, and manage the situation on site- Chromedome says yes. Unflinchingly. Of course he does. It's Prowl, he doesn't say no to Prowl.
But as the Lost Light launches out into space, a little voice in the back of his mind sighs a breath of relief. He pulls Rewind, newly conjunxed, a little closer to him, and tracks the distance from home. The gap widens, and widens, and Chromedome is thankful for it.
Thankful, and pretending that he doesn't still feel Prowl's eyes boring into him from across space and time.
