oh anon, i most definitely have seen this before. if i'm not mistaken, this was during the oneD press event with the whole only friends cast and for some reason, most fandom were convinced they were going to announce something then, but nothing happened, so this interview was a delight after the disappointment (and the pictures were also pretty nice).

and let me tell you, personally, i don't assume most people are aware of the meaning of flowers or their history and myths surrounding them, yeah? bc unless i'm looking it up, i wouldn't know a thing about it, but the fact that from all flowers, the one that came to first's mind was one that is associated with fortune, abundance and personal expressions of love just hits the nail in the head (and also relates to soulmates in hindu mythology, i mean, it's the perfect coincidence).

and the fact that first goes on about how it's sweet inside and beautiful in the outside, like how can you say something like this, man, really? you can even see that khaotung himself doesn't know how to respond to it which is very endearing. and khaotung also associating first to sunflowers and how bright first still is despite knowing each other for such a long time (and we also know it is one of his favorite flowers too).

but even taking out all of the gay subtext, i think it's a beautiful thing to say about someone in both cases. khaotung still sees first as this positive source of light, and first going on about how ixoras were the first flowers he ever discovered as a kid and associating it to khaotung feels somehow so meaningful.

i love them, and they are insane for saying shit like this. i hope they never change.

sometimes i do wonder if joe ever sees these type of clips 😭 i mean we know he's informed about some of the shit ja'marr says to the media in regards to getting the ball more but like does he know the absolute insane shit ja'marr has spouted about him. has he ever teased him about it 'oh so i'm like a god to you?' 'oh so no other qb but me huh?' or does he keep quiet but feels pleased and loved about it and returns the sentiment in his own subtle ways while ja'marr goes on with his days unknowing that joe actually listens to the stuff he's said to the media (but not to him!! probably maybe. if a friend told me i was like a god to them i'd be....heavily concerned tbh). does he know that that man is downright fucking devoted to him?? he better lmao and i hope he doesn't take it for granted etc etc but it's very clear he doesn't 🥰 he loves that dramatic ass man just as much, would equally do insane shit for him, would probably grow old together, etc etc
