In Love365, My favorite MCs are the ones from Masquerade Kiss, Her Love in The Force, My Last First Kiss, and Romance MD. I also love the one from Oops, I Said Yes?! and I want to read the routes I didn’t get to read yet from this title. All of these MCs are either really funny, relatable, inspiring, and physically good-looking to me

I rarely dislike MCs despite their potential flaws because I think those could be consequences of bad writing. However, I have to say I had a hard time liking Destind because the MC from this title is really frustrating to me. I liked two of the LIs I’ve read but I think the MC and title overall had a lot of potential and it wasn’t used well. I only read Takane and Rei’s first seasons and PoVs and stopped, because I thought it wasn’t worth it for me to continue reading since the MC really wasn’t my favorite type. No shame to those who do like the title though, the characters seem very interesting and I’m sure the flaws can be easily overlooked for other people.

Ikémen Prince

I also play Ikémen Prince from the Ikémen Series by Cybird, and I really like the MC in that game. I like how she’s rational, passionate about her reading hobby, hardworking, and a bit bold at times. She’s also very pretty. I love her eyes and hair. I also love a MC who gets the coldest LI to open up more to her. I really liked her in Chevalier’s route

7 Hotties All My Husbands & Several Shades of Sadism

These two games belong to Arithmetic inc and I have played them a few years ago, and still like to read some stories again because I really loved them. I like both of the MCs from these games.

The one from 7 hotties isn’t always written consistently but 7H was my first otome game so I’m really attached to it and to her. She is a very cute and kind person and she’s able to be liked by anyone, even by the coldest LI, since she’s very understanding and flexible

The second MC from SSS is very relatable and sassy at times. She is hardworking and very cute. I liked to see her interactions with the LIs

Age : 22 year old

Good points : 1-Brave and take risks 2-Never give up 3-Smoll bean (seriously she's so cute) 4-Really nice and helpfull (walk around the city for hours every week to help anyone in need) 5-Hardworking 6-Tell whats on her mind and doesnt hide her feelings 7-Can play piano

Bad points: 1-Bad decision making 2-Rely on the boys too much 3-Mary sue 4-Clumsy AF 5-Sneez\ stomach noises when boy is about to kiss her

Mystic messenger mc:

Age and Job: Depends

Depend on the route 1-Yoosung : Super patient and mature 2-Jaehee: Supportive 3-Jumin : God levels of patience but also kinda always have to agree with jumin which i hate 4-Seven : Happy go lucky and clueless about her whole situation (Seven : There is a BOMB | MC:LOL OK) 5-Another story : Guillible but also very patient. (i would take none of that s**t) Common to all routes : Have no eyes

My candy love MC: Lyn Darcy AKA Candy

Age : 17 during 1st season \ 23 during 2nd season \ 25 during 3rd season

Job : High schooler\ college student\ coffee owner

Good points: 1-Friendly 2-Helpful 3-Open minded 4-Pretty 5-Very strong mentally (during the highschool part) 6-Appearance can be customized 7-Energetic 8-Can get angry and speak her mind (depend on your choices)

Bad points: 1-Nosy AF 2-Mary sue 3-Play terapist with literally anyone she meet even if that mean getting herself in trouble and ignoring her own love life 4-Paranoid 5-Childish (even for a highschooler and even more in campus life)

7hotties MC AKA the worst mc (No pic for her cause tumblr says only 10 pic per post)

Good points :

2-Nothing

3-Absolutely nothing

Bad points: 1-Weak 2-Useless 3-Doormat 4-Almost jobless (never seen her work aside from keita's route because he is the one who gave her the job) 5-Bland AF 6-Forgive everything a guy do to her (even rape) 7-Never actually get mad (even after a guy sleep with her and dump her literally right after she's like "pls don't abandon me! Tell me if i did anything wrong ! I'll fix it")

SSS MC:

Job: Concierge at the royal shining

Age : Early 20′s

Good points: 1-Sassy 2-Have a goal in her life and a dream she will not abandon no matter what 3-Can solve mental illness with love (because otome game power) 4-Described as extra pretty (All the boys at her workplace like her) 5-Doesnt give up easily 6-Actually got some backstory 7-Thirsty AF 8-Relatable

Bad points: 1-Forgive too easily (Minami's route !!) 2-Always get caught when spying or listening on someone's conversation 3-Clumsy AF 4-Can't brew coffee even after two weeks of trying (toma's route) 5-Actually not so good at her job but she's trying really hard

Le secret d'henri\Henri's secret MC: Lyla (Actually not an otome game, more like a visual novel but i wanted to include it because i absolutely love the mc and also because it's getting a remake and i wanted to promote it a bit)

Job : Highschooler

Age: 17 then 18

Good points: 1-Strong 2-Naive in all the right ways (she know how naïve she is but still choose to be naïve because she'd rather get backstabbed because she trusted than miss the opportunity to know a good person because she didn't trust)

3-Very pretty (Said to be the prettiest girl in all the high school and literally every boy she met aside from her brother and clement her bestie want to date her.)

4-Very popular 5-She is so nice even Henri call her a saint 6-Have the best family 7-Have the best friends 8-Supportive 9-Likes to play detective and solve people's problem 10-You really get attached to her by the end of the story you are almost sad because you wont get to see her again

Bad points: 1-Overreact 2-Drama queen (I understand tho as she is still a highschooler so she get emotional and depressed quite easily specially when it comes to a certain someone)

3-A bit too perfect sometime : Pretty girl, nice , friendly, cool, like nailpolish and fashion but also manga and video games, smart etc etc 4-MARY SUE 5-Nosy but not in an annoying way

Ikevamp MC:

Job: Travel agent and blogger | Housemaid

Age: Early to middle twenties

Good points : 1-She's said to be very beautiful (leo's route) 2-Speak many languages and seem to have a wide board of interests 3-Adapt fast to her new environment (depend on the routes) 4-Mentally strong (specially in napoleon's route) 5-Kinda mature (sometimes and depend on the route) Bad points: 1-Inconsistent personality even in the same route 2-Mary sue 3-Can be very weak and submissive (depend on the route) 4-Have no reason to stay aside for the boy she loves (what I mean is that by the end of the route the only thing she have in 19th century France is her boyfriend, in some routes she doesn't even meet or talk to most of the other resident and she have no job aside from cleaning the mansion with Sebastian)

5-Also get kidnapped every route (don't know yet for Theo) 6-Always wear the same clothes

Ikerev MC : Alice

Job: Help at a bakery ?

Age: Early twenties (saw somewhere that she was the same age as ray, not sure tho)

Good points : 1-Like food 2-Foodie 3-Enjoy food 4-Food = Happiness 5-More seriously she's super positive and optimistic and adapt really fast to her environment 6-Friendly and happy go lucky 7-Have the power to repel magic and protect herself and sometime her suitor to some degrees

Bad points: 1-Clueless 2-Dumb AF 3-Bad decision making 4-Get kidnapped almost every route 5-Zero observation and deduction skills (Oliver's route) 6-Technically squat at the black\red army headquarter\Oliver and Blanc's house or Harr and Loki's house

Ikesen MC : Mai AKA the queen AKA the fireball AKA the little mouse AKA The godess AKA the wild boar

Job: Seamstress

Age: around 25

Good points : 1-Strong AF 2-Take no sh*t (Kenshin's route\ Nobunaga's route...) 3-Adapt quite fast to her new and very dangerous environement (if i was her i would not leave my room for the next 3 months) 4-Fireball 5-Saved her suitor in many routes (Kenshin, Ieyasu, Shingen...) 6-Sass Queen 7-Have a life in sengoku era aside from her suitor (kinda the opposite of ikevamp mc as i said in bad point 4) 8-Have a dream and a goal 9-Very beautiful (even kenshin said so outside of his route and he was not in love with her!) 10-A lot of chemistry with all of the boys even outside of their routes.

Bad points : 1-Mary Sue 2-In some routes she is weaker but it never really disturbed me as it suited the love interest of the route(Sasuke and mitsuhide's route) 3-Kidnapping

Midcin MC:

Job : Princess

Age: Heard somewhere that she is 19 but not sure about it

Good points : 1-Adapt fast to her new situation 2-Try her best to learn everything 3-Try to take responsibility as the new princess 4-Can't think of anything else for her...

Bad points : 1-Weak 2-Bland 3-Doesnt speak up when she actually need to (The dumpster fire that is Alyn's ever after) 4-Kidnapping sometime twice in the same route 5-Submissive depending on the suitor

Okko's games MC'S : Honestly they r all the same so reunited them all in one

Job and age : Depend on the game

Good points: 1-Hard working 2-Have goals and dreams 3-Usually have a backstory 4-Some of them are sassy 5-Pretty but doesn't take care of herself 6-Always have a very fashionable bestie with a lot of experience with dating that help her and listen to her problems

Bad points: 1-Emotional maturity of a middle school girl 2-Doesnt want to admit her feelings and keep denying them even when there is no reason to 3-Self sabotage 4-Blame herself for every bad thing that happens 5-Some of them are very weak and submissive

Just a very short fanfic on Shizuka and him singing~ Changing it up a little bit of course lolol. Got the idea from @starmocha   screenshot post on how Mei likes hearing Shizuka singing a lullaby! I hope you enjoy!!~~ As Shizuka cuddles me, he starts talking about his brothers to me. "Hey y/n?"  As Shizuka puts his head on my shoulders, he takes in a deep breath. "Hm?" I say, flustered over his breath on my neck. "Should I sing you a lullaby? Mei says I'm pretty good at it." "Really? How many times have you sung to him?" I try to turn and look at his face as he starts to caress my face. A little 'hmm' comes out of his mouth as he shuts his eyes, trying to think. "I used to sing to Mei whenever we were bored or whenever he wanted me too." "Wow! You must be good then if Mei likes it." I say in slight excitement. "I'd sing all night for you if you needed me to." Shizuka cooes with a slight grin. "Really?" I almost shout as I turn my whole body towards him. "What lullaby are you singing? "Yeash, you can't take a hint." Shizuka pouts, looking at me with puppy eyes, as he suddenly kisses me. I jump up in surprise from the sudden kiss as he holds me tighter. "Shizuka?" "Ill sing anything you want." Shizuka says, as I get even more excited. "Really?" "Yes," he starts, as he manages to close the small gap inbeween us. "On one condition." "W-what is it?" I almost whipered, feeling excited and anxious. He then smirks as he says, "Only if you read me a story then I will sing a lullaby for you." I think my disappointment was so obvious, Shizuka started to laugh at me. "What did you think I would ask?" My face heats up at his statement. "Get your mind out of the gutter y/n." Shizuka says with a huge grin. "I wasn't thinking in that direction!" I yell in embarrassment as my face heats up. "Your face tells me a whole different story." Shizuka starts giggling as I get up to get a book to read for him.

Hello here I am with the pain :)))As if this route wasn’t painful enough ;;

Takes place during Rei Shindo’s route, chapters 11-12.

WARNING: SPOILERS, TW: SUICIDE

You managed to show Rei the letter his mother left him, but afterward, his demeanor completely changed. He was lifeless; nonexistent.

You returned to your normal duties as his concierge, but any talk made was minimal. You tried to cheer him up, to return to the teasing and testing he did to you daily, but Rei gave no leeway. You thought once you showed him the letter, once the Kira group was returned back to his father, that Rei would be normal again, and that everything would be okay. There was no need for revenge, it was all a misunderstanding.

But why hadn’t anything changed?

 You served him his coffee one morning, a few days after the events had conspired. He thanked you with the ‘normal’ nonchalant behaviour you hadn’t become accustomed to, and you couldn’t take it anymore. He should’ve been relieved that it was all a misunderstanding, right? Now that he knew the truth, he should’ve been content that he didn’t need his revenge anymore.

“Rei…”

“Yes?”

His voice was even, but detached from reality. Your eyes sought his earnestly, and you swallowed your fears that welled in your throat.

“Shouldn’t you be happy that you don’t have to take revenge anymore? I thought that you’d be relieved by what Haruhiko found! But you still seem so… sad.”

That smile of self mockery stretched across his lips again, sighing discontentedly at your naivety. “Revenge was all I had. Without it, I am nothing; I have nothing.”

“But that’s not true! You are a mean, oppressive sadist. But with that, you have your brothers, your business, Cat too!”

Rei shook his head at you. “It must be so nice to be so stupid.” Before you could protest his insult, he continued. “Perhaps that’s why I was so drawn to you.” 

He turned away, glancing out the window and idly running his fingers through Cat’s fur. His lips pursed before he spoke again, but his voice was even. “You don’t have to be my concierge anymore. I can take care of myself.” 

What? “But…”

“I’ve been doing it all this time, I don’t need you anymore.”

“But I said I would be with you until the end, Mr. Rei!”

“This is the end, ______. You should start to gather your things up tonight, and tomorrow morning you can leave.”

“I might consider taking Chiaki’s offer at the British branch though!” You were scrambling now, fighting for his attention and for him to stay.

“I probably would hate that. No, I definitely would hate that. But my decision is final.” His smile was weak as he stood from the couch, skulking to the door of his room. “I would like some rest now. Good night, _______.”

“Mr. Rei ——”

He already disappeared and closed the door behind him, keeping you locked out again. You didn’t bother to stifle the tears stinging at your eyes, letting their warmth trickle down your cheeks. Flopping onto the couch, you shoved your face into a pillow and sobbed loudly until the night took over you.

You woke up to a beam of light from the sun on your face, rousing your drowsiness. A blanket had been thrown over you as you slept, and you knew that Rei had thought of you. Cat prowled around the room before stopping at Rei’s door, pawing at it and mewing loudly. You go to pick her up to prevent her from waking him, only to find the door cracked.

You peeked in curiously to be disturbed by a tidy bed and Rei’s phone and wallet left on the side table. Your mind racked places that he could’ve been, and why he left. You think back to all the conversations that you’ve had, about his past, about why he wanted to seek revenge, and there was common denominator in it all.

Once it was done, it would be the end.

You pieced it together slowly, and the sudden realization of its meaning sent your heart plummeting into your stomach.

Once he had his revenge, it’d be the end of his life.

You could feel the panic spreading through your body and the adrenaline rushing now. There was fear and worry, but you had to keep a level head. Rei mentioned places that he’d like to go, but what was the last place he wanted to see before he ended it all? You knew that when he was young, he took his mother to the field of flowers you shared your first kiss at, and sometimes the sea. The sea!

You called for a taxi immediately, taking you to the nearest beach and prayed you weren’t too late.

It was nearing 5 AM when you arrived, and you threw a large amount of money to the taxi driver and didn’t wait for the change. You spotted his car as you stepped out and immediately started running towards the water. Sand filled your shoes quickly as you sank into the gritty land, frantically scanning the coast for Rei. The closer to the water you came, the more helpless you felt, not seeing him anywhere.

You saw another pair of footprints in the sand and you followed them eagerly into the water, calling out his name in panic. Am I too late? You waded in, hiking up your uniform for ease before squealing slightly as something tickled your foot. Gazing into the water, a faded violet scarf flicked and swayed with the motions of the water.

Your eyes looked further into the sea and your body followed until you were swimming against the gentle waves, searching for Rei. No, no, no…! There was warmth again in your eyes and a large lump in your throat when you dunked your head under the water, opening your eyes to look for the man you fell in love with.

His body already sank in a deeper end of the sea, and you were frantically pulling him out of the water. You pulled him to the shore, using the buoyancy of the water to get him there and roll him onto his back. You shrieked his name and immediately started CPR. I wasn’t too late! He’s not gone, he’ll wake up!

You lied to yourself in your head, over and over. You knew from facts that since his body was already on the floor that his lungs were filled with water, and there was no pulse at all. There was no oxygen getting to his brain, and if you weren’t too late now, you had minimal time. You pressed harder into his chest, counting in your head with each thrust. You pinched his nose, blew air into his mouth, and repeated the process. One, two, three…

His hair was dry now as you brushed it out of his face. You cupped his cheek, caressing your thumb over his features, and over his lips like he did you many times. You were so hopeful for a pulse, for him to cough up the water in his lungs and come back to you, but nothing came. He still remained lifeless, eyes closed for eternity.

“This didn’t have to be the end, Rei,” you whispered, another wave of tears streaming down your cheeks. “You said you had nothing else to live for, but you could’ve lived for me… I wish you could’ve lived for me…”
