Something most people don’t know about me? Singing - especially as a backing vocalist - is one of the ways I’m learning to trust my voice. It might not seem related to business. Or coaching. Or content. But every time I step into the music… every time I open my throat and let sound move through me… I’m unblocking something sacred. My throat is the part of me that still holds fear. It gets tight. Clenched. Quiet. But as a Manifestor - in Human Design - my voice is my tool. It’s literally where my power lives. So I have to practise using it. Not just for others. But for myself. Backing vocals help me do that, in a fun way I get to express myself without pressure...somewhat. What an experience 🙏 I’ve just spent the day with @zoekmfoster at her Sacred Expression Yoga Workshop - it was amazing!! I felt connection and release all in one go. I am an illustrator, so I draw pictures for a living - this workshop allowed me to let loose without being attached or concerned with the outcome! Zoë guided us through the process with a calm and reassuring voice, and when I say voice, I mean the way she speaks from her heart! 🙏 what a glorious way to release the bubbling creativity inside my soul - I can’t wait to do this again 🌿💚🌍
