How's everything going in the Optimus in Episode 1 timeline?
Previous Episode of the Episode 1 Timeline
Alright, lets see where I left off.
So Zeke tells Marley of the plan to infect the Survey Corps/military with the spinal fluid while Megatron tips Erwin off about someone infiltrating the compound. He doesn't know that it was Zeke. Erwin decides that they need to relocate, assuming that Eren's safety is at risk. However, Erwin is still thinking a few steps ahead, assuming that someone has infiltrated the Survey Corps ranks, specifically the other two titan shifters.
Erwin explains to his closest friends that he believes that Marley still doesn't have the Colossal Titan with them (Remember they don't know about Annie) and he believes that they might have infiltrated the island's military somehow. And if their target is Eren, then they would want to be close to him, so they might be in the Survey Corps.
Optimus is the one questioning Erwin about this, and voicing his concerns about the situation. Because if they are wrong, then the peace talks they've been conducting with Marley could be for nothing and it could lead to a full force invasion. Marley does have more titans and more resources compared to the island. Erwin states that through some extra spying, that they've been struggling without the Colossal Titan. If they manage to capture it and transfer that power over to one of their own, Marley would be on the backfoot. Optimus reminds him of the weight of that power and the 13 year curse. They couldn't shorten someone's life so carelessly. Erwin understands that and tells Optimus that they were going to use it to extend someone's life if they were on the brink of death.
Levi can't help but ask if he had anyone to speculate. There had to be someone who was considered suspicious. Erwin admits that he doesn't have it, which is where the plan comes in. They're going to have Eren transported underground, which multiple groups pretending to have Eren as a decoy. They all know from Hanji's experiments that titan transformations don't work if a titan shifter is underground. If there is someone in the group that refuses to go underground, then they can assume that they might be a titan shifter.
There are flaws to the plan. Because if they are split so far apart and the titan shifter is next to Eren, they could grab him and run. Erwin accounted for that and reminds everyone of Megatron's aerial superiority. Megatron can keep a look out for a titan transformation and immediately stop the assailant. Megatron agrees to it for the time being.
There is still the matter of the infiltrator. They don't know who it is or where they might be at. And this plan does take some time to set up. A good few weeks.
During this time, Zeke is slowly sneaking in the infected wine with Marley and Pieck's helps. During this sneaking around, Marco manages to spot them and sneaks away without being detected. The only reason he saw them in the first place was because he was out on a late night stroll contemplating his own decisions in life.
(I know this is short, but the minute I finished AOP, my brain has just turned off.)

If you’re trans and considering swapping your gender marker to your bio sex, I want to share a quick tip.
Two weeks before the election, I switched mine back to female because I felt Trump had a very real chance of winning. My job also requires me to travel regularly, so it was for my safety while visiting southern states.
Anyways, I’d just moved to a new state, so the switch happened while transferring my drivers license from out-of-state. The clerk let me know that transfers must match PERFECTLY. That meant she had to submit it under gender marker X (non binary). I explained that it was a matter of safety, and thankfully, she took me seriously. She called a helpline and explained the issue. As a result, they allowed the new license to be printed with an updated gender marker.
I know a lot of my trans friends have relocated to northern states for their safety, so if you’re looking to do the same, please be aware of this rule. Be sure to explain the reason for the change and, hopefully, you’ll have a clerk willing to help.
Stay safe out there, all. Stealth is about survival and survival is resistance.
Stay alive. 🏳️‍⚧️
Note: if I used the wrong terminology at any point, I apologize. Trying to get this out there asap.

What Makes a Car Transporter Reliable and Safe?
Transporting your car can be stressful, especially when it comes to security. While securing vehicles matters and cannot be overstated for both you and your shipper. A reliable shipper understands that proper car protection minimizes damage and making sure your car arrives in perfect condition. Understanding the best practices for securing vehicles while using a fully insured car shipping service is important.
This guide will share important tips to make sure your car remains safe during transport. From proper preparation to choosing the right shipping service, you'll equip with the right knowledge to determine the process car shipping company implemented when it comes to protecting your priced possession during transport.
Best Practices for Securing Vehicles
Vehicles being transported require robust tools and methods to remain stationary during transit. Drivers follow proven methods for securing vehicles, such as using strong straps, wheel chocks, and locking mechanisms. These tools prevent movement and damage during sudden stops or turns. Reliable companies offering car relocation service take extreme care to correctly fasten each vehicle, ensuring it stays protected throughout the journey.
Proper Weight Distribution
Balanced weight distribution is another critical factor contributing to the overall safety of the trip. Uneven weight can lead to instability, affecting the carrier’s braking and handling. By keeping heavier vehicles on lower levels and distributing weight evenly, drivers handle their trucks more efficiently. The importance of weight distribution not only lowers accident risks but also improves fuel efficiency, aligning with environmental and safety goals.
Safe Driving Practices for Car Carrier Trucks
Safe driving is the foundation of vehicle transport. Experienced drivers rely on disciplined habits and strategic planning to navigate diverse conditions.
Speed Regulations and Adherence
Car carrier trucks require extra caution when it comes to speed. Operating at high speeds increases stopping distance and the risk of losing control on tight turns. By strictly following speed regulations, drivers ensure they operate their trucks at safe speed limits.
Additionally, low speed in neighborhoods or urban areas safeguards both pedestrians and vehicles.
Weather and Route Management
A driver’s ability to adapt to weather conditions is paramount when transporting cars. Car carrier trucks with multiple vehicle loads are more prone to challenges such as icy roads, heavy rain, or high winds. Skilled shipper manage weather conditions effectively by adjusting driving speeds and planning their routes to avoid hazards. Proper route planning considers traffic, construction, and road obstructions, enabling safe and on-time deliveries.
Emergency Response During Transit
Unforeseen incidents can arise even with the best preparation. A well-trained driver knows how to respond promptly and minimize risks in such situations. Whether handling a flat tire or addressing cargo shifts, professionals follow clear procedures for handling emergencies during transit. By acting swiftly, damage can be avoided, maintaining the delivery schedule.
Post-Trip Procedures for Safety Assurance
After the delivery is complete, the work doesn’t stop. Post-trip processes verify the vehicle’s condition and set the groundwork for future success.
Inspecting Delivered Vehicles for Damage
Upon arrival, drivers carefully inspect the vehicles to assess their condition. These examinations verify whether the cargo was protected at every stage of the journey. Companies that prioritize the assurance of safe delivery practices use standardized inspection checklists, keeping clients informed if unexpected issues arise during transport.
Providing Trustworthy Car Shipping Services
Reliable car transport companies value transparency and customer trust. By consistently delivering cars on time and undamaged, companies foster long-term relationships with clients. Building trust is important for shipping services, specially if a car carrier provides professional car shipping services, that focuses on safety, as well as pricing transparency and car transport quotes online, as car owners rely on reliability and professionalism of a carrier to transport their prized possession.
Trustworthy providers, such as Lucky Star Auto Transport or a reputable car transport company in Florida, are recognized for their diligence and professionalism in this space.
The safe shipment of a car relies on expert drivers, regular maintenance, and adherence to strict safety measures. From advanced training programs to post-trip inspections, every step of the process builds trust with customers seeking reliable nationwide car transportation reviews. Companies that enforce rigorous safety protocols stand out as trustworthy and dependable options for individuals searching for seamless San Jose auto transport services.
With these measures in place, vehicle owners can rest assured their cars are in capable hands throughout the delivery process.

Affordable Small Safes That Don’t Compromise on Protection
Tumblr media
In today’s world, safeguarding your valuables is not just a luxury but a necessity. Whether it’s important documents, cash, jewellery, or sentimental items, a reliable safe ensures these treasures remain secure. However, many people believe that quality safes come with a hefty price tag. The good news is that affordable small safes can provide robust security without draining your wallet. Let’s explore why these compact safes are an excellent investment and how they deliver top-notch protection.
The Importance of a Secure Small Safe
When it comes to protecting your assets, size does not always equate to security. Small safes are designed to provide a compact yet secure solution for safeguarding personal items. These safes are particularly useful for individuals living in apartments, dormitories, or small homes where space is limited. Additionally, their portability makes them an excellent choice for those who frequently travel or need to store valuables temporarily.
Despite their smaller size, modern safes are engineered with advanced security features that rival larger, more expensive models. This makes them an ideal choice for anyone looking to balance affordability with effectiveness.
Key Features of Affordable Small Safes
Affordable small safes may come at a lower price point, but they do not skimp on essential security features. Here are some critical attributes that make them a worthy investment:
1. Sturdy Construction: The best small safes are made from high-quality materials like reinforced steel. This provides a robust barrier against physical attacks such as prying, drilling, or hammering. The durable build ensures that even the most determined thief will have difficulty accessing the contents.
2. Reliable Locking Mechanisms: A safe is only as secure as its locking system. Affordable small safes often feature electronic keypads, biometric locks, or traditional key locks. While each mechanism offers varying levels of convenience, all are designed to prevent unauthorised access.
3. Fire and Water Resistance: Some small safes are equipped with fire-resistant linings and waterproof seals to protect contents from natural disasters. While not all budget-friendly safes offer these features, many do, providing an additional layer of security for your valuables.
4. Compact and Discreet Design: Small safes are designed to be easily concealed. Whether you choose to store yours in a closet, under a bed, or in a drawer, their discreet size ensures your valuables are hidden from view.
Benefits of Investing in a Small Safe
Affordable small safes offer a host of benefits that extend beyond their primary function of protection. Here’s why they are an essential addition to any home or office:
1. Peace of Mind: Knowing that your valuables are securely stored can significantly reduce stress, especially when you’re away from home. Whether it’s important documents or heirlooms, a safe ensures that your items are always protected.
2. Cost-Effectiveness: Investing in an affordable small safe is a cost-effective solution for securing your possessions. The price of a safe is often minimal compared to the potential loss of irreplaceable items.
3. Easy Accessibility: Small safes provide quick access to your valuables when needed. Unlike safety deposit boxes at banks, which require a visit during business hours, your personal safe is always within reach.
4. Versatility: These safes are not limited to just home use. They are also ideal for businesses to store petty cash, passports, or other sensitive documents. Their portability means they can be easily relocated as required.
How to Choose the Right Small Safe
Selecting the perfect small safe involves considering your specific needs and preferences. Here are some tips to guide your decision:
1. Assess Your Storage Needs: Think about the types of items you intend to store. If you’re safeguarding documents, ensure the safe has sufficient internal space and compartments. For valuables like jewellery or electronics, opt for a model with padded interiors to prevent damage.
2. Consider Security Features: Evaluate the locking mechanism and resistance features. If fire or water protection is crucial, look for safes with certified ratings. This ensures that your belongings remain intact even during emergencies.
3. Look for Portability Options: If you plan to move the safe frequently, choose a lightweight model with handles or grips. However, ensure that portability does not compromise the safe’s durability or security.
4. Set a Budget: Affordable safes come in various price ranges. Determine your budget beforehand and compare models within your range. Remember, a slightly higher investment in a well-reviewed safe can offer long-term security benefits.
Conclusion
Affordable small safes prove that you don’t have to spend a fortune to secure your valuables. These compact yet powerful safes offer robust protection against theft, fire, and water damage. By investing in a high-quality small safe, you gain peace of mind knowing your most cherished items are safe from harm. Whether you’re safeguarding sentimental keepsakes or crucial documents, a reliable small safe is an indispensable tool for modern security needs.

How to Relocate Your Belongings with Movers and Packers in Dubai to Ensure Safety and Security
Tumblr media
Moving can be an attractive and stressful experience in a busy city like Dubai; one of the biggest concerns is the safety of your belongings. It’s common for items to get lost or damaged during transit, but with the proper preparation and the help of professional movers and packers in Dubai, it can be a smooth and secure process. Look for office movers in Dubai with a strong reputation for reliability and consider several key factors before making your choice: Whether you’re relocating your home or office, ensuring the safety and security of your belongings is essential. Here’s how to make your move seamless and secure with the help of the best movers in Dubai.
Tips for relocating your belongings safely with the best Movers and Packers in Dubai:
Choose the Best Movers in Dubai
The first and most essential step in ensuring a safe and successful relocation is selecting the best movers in Dubai. Look for movers and packers in Dubai with a proven track record, positive customer reviews, and proper licences and insurance. This ensures that the office movers in Dubai adhere to the highest industry standards and can pay you in case of any loss or damage during the move. Checking online reviews and requesting recommendations from friends or colleagues can also help you make an informed decision.
Schedule a Pre-Move Survey
Schedule a pre-move survey once you’ve chosen your packers and movers in Dubai. This involves the packers and movers in Dubai visiting your office to evaluate the volume and type of items to be moved. A pre-move survey allows the movers to estimate more accurately, identify special packing needs, and prepare for any challenges. This step helps prevent surprises on moving days and ensures a smooth transition.
Use Quality Packing Materials
Professional packers and movers in Dubai use high-quality packing materials to protect your belongings during transit. Ensure that the movers and packers in Dubai use sturdy boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper, and other materials that provide sufficient cushioning for your items. For delicate or valuable items, ask the movers about custom crating options. Suitable packing materials are essential in minimising the risk of damage during the move.
Label Boxes Clearly
Proper labelling is necessary for a secure move. Ensure each box is labelled with its contents and the room it belongs to in your new location. This helps the movers and packers in Dubai handle your items more efficiently and makes unpacking easier. Additionally, create a detailed inventory list to keep track of all your belongings. This list will ensure everything arrives safely at your new destination.
Prioritise Fragile Items
If you have fragile items, giving them special attention is essential. Inform packers and movers in Dubai about any items requiring extra care, and ensure they are packed with additional cushioning. Use “Fragile” labels on all boxes containing delicate items, and consider transporting high-value or sentimental items yourself to avoid any potential accidents.
Ensure Proper Insurance Coverage
Insurance is a vital factor in any move. Verify the type of insurance coverage your chosen office movers in Dubai offer. While most office movers in Dubai provide basic coverage, it may not be enough for high-value items. Consider purchasing additional insurance for items of significant value. Understanding the insurance policy and the claims process ensures that you’re prepared in case of any unforeseen cases.
Secure New Location
Before the office movers in Dubai arrive at your new location, secure it. Check that all doors and windows are locked and in good condition. This is especially important if moving into a new office in a different area. A secure new environment helps prevent theft or damage after the move and gives you peace of mind.
Communicate Clearly with Movers and packer in Dubai
Effective communication is essential to a smooth move. Discuss your specific needs, concerns, and expectations with the packers and movers in Dubai beforehand. This includes any special instructions for handling certain items, timelines for the move, and preferences for packing and unpacking. Open communication helps avoid misunderstandings and ensures the movers and packers in Dubai handle your belongings according to your expectations.
Supervise the Moving Process
On a moving day, try to be present to supervise the entire process. Being there lets you provide real-time instructions to the movers and address any concerns immediately. Supervision ensures that your belongings are handled carefully and according to the agreed-upon plan. It also allows you to monitor the loading and unloading process to prevent accidental mishaps.
Conduct a Final Walkthrough
After the move, conduct a final walkthrough with your office movers in Dubai. Check each room and item to ensure nothing is missing or damaged. If you notice any issues, report them to the best movers in Dubai immediately. A final inspection allows you to resolve any concerns quickly and ensures that all your belongings have arrived safely.
Unpack Methodically
Once your belongings are safely delivered, start unpacking methodically. Begin with the essentials and gradually work your way through each room. Take your time to inspect each item as you unpack to ensure it is in good condition. If you notice any damage, document it and contact your movers and packers in Dubai to file a claim, if necessary. Organising your unpacking process helps you settle in more quickly and reduces the stress of moving.
Get a Professional Packing Service
One of the best ways to ensure the safety and security of your belongings during a move is to get a professional packing service. Many packers and movers in Dubai offer packing services, including providing the necessary materials and experienced packers who know how to handle different items, from delicate items to bulky furniture. Professional packing services can significantly reduce the risk of damage during transit and make the moving process much smoother.
Optimise the Moving Schedule
To ensure a safe and secure move, plan your moving schedule carefully. Avoid peak moving times, such as weekends and holidays, when movers are often busier. Opting for a weekday move can result in more attentive service from the best movers in Dubai and potentially lower costs. Additionally, schedule your move during daylight hours to minimise any security risks associated with moving at night.
Utilise Secure Storage Options
If you cannot move all your belongings at once or need a temporary place to store them, consider using secure storage services offered by packers and movers in Dubai. Many office movers in Dubai provide storage facilities with high-security measures, including surveillance cameras, access controls, and climate-controlled environments. Utilising these services can give you peace of mind, knowing your belongings are safe until you’re ready to move them to your new location.
Plan for Special Items
Discuss these with your movers if you have special items like artwork, antiques, and delicate office furniture. These items require special handling, and office movers in Dubai often offer tailored services for such needs. Ensure your movers and packers in Dubai have the expertise and equipment to handle these items safely.
Wrapping Up:
In conclusion, relocating your belongings doesn’t have to be a stressful experience if you take the proper steps to ensure safety and security. By choosing the best movers in Dubai, using high-quality packing materials, labelling your boxes, securing insurance, and staying involved, you can safeguard your belongings and enjoy a seamless transition to your new office. With proper planning and communication, you can make your move a hassle-free experience with the help of professional packers and movers in Dubai.

[Now]
Tzuyu could hardly breathe. She was doubled over, hands on her knees, gasping for air. The alarms were firing in her head; her legs were going to give out at any moment now.
A water bottle was shoved into her line of sight, and she downed it gratefully before letting herself sink to the ground, sitting on the concrete and still panting.
“You did a good job.”
She looked up at Jihyo, who stood facing the river. Her eyes were on the sky as the sunrise turned it captivating shades of pink that Tzuyu couldn’t focus on for the black entering her vision. The older girl seemed completely unfazed by the miles they’d just run.
“Momo says you’ve been doing good training, too. Fighting.” Jihyo turned and met her eyes with a little smile. “Nayeon’s a little more honest with it, but she thinks you’ve improved a lot.”
She still couldn’t answer, but she shrugged.
“I hope you know we aren’t just training you to make you miserable.. You need to be safe out there. You’re a good kid. We want you to be able to handle yourself.”
Tzuyu nodded again, looking out on the river. She’d been terrified when Jihyo had asked if she’d like to accompany her, but in the end reasoned that if Jihyo was going to kill her it’d probably be in her sleep and not along the Han river, where a number of equally-insane overachievers were also starting their day with a morning run. That, and she hadn’t been outside of the complex in days. If she had to get up before the ass-crack of dawn to touch grass, then so be it.
She hoped she never saw this early again, but she had to admit it was a pretty view.
“Thank you.” She said, finally, as she got her breath back.
Jihyo nodded.
“Once I can… you know, handle myself… Am I…” She trailed off. The question had been on the tip of her tongue for weeks, now. She wasn’t even sure what she hoped the answer was.
“We’ll give it a few more weeks to calm down. We’re running recon on your old bosses constantly to decide the safest path forward.”
“Do you think there will be?” Tzuyu asked. “A safe path forward for me, I mean.”
“A big enough bribe will convince the right people to forget your face, and a threat or two will make sure that doesn’t change. Once it’s resolved, we can relocate you somewhere else in the city and you never have to see me again.” Jihyo chuckled to herself.
Tzuyu’s heart sunk a little. She swallowed.
“I’ll have to find a new place…”
“We’ll help with that.” Jihyo sighed. She still hadn’t looked back. “You’ll have everything you need.”
There were a few seconds of silence. Tzuyu didn’t know how to talk around the knot of disappointment in her throat, not without sounding pathetic.
“Unless, of course, you don’t want that.”
“Hm?”
“I mean, if you want to stay with us. You can.” Jihyo said simply. Then, before Tzuyu could open her mouth to respond. “I’ve noticed you’re really fitting in these days. But you need to know the risks, Tzuyu. Even if you don’t play an active role in our… operations. We deal with incredibly dangerous people. People that wouldn’t think twice about killing us if they got the chance. Us, or anyone associated with us.”
Tzuyu swallowed.
Despite still fearing half of its inhabitants, her time in the complex had her happier than she’d been in a while. There was always a homecooked meal to enjoy or takeout ready to be reheated, and a few smiling faces in the cafeteria. Momo was always encouraging, Nayeon always a familiar kind of stern. Sana was nothing but warm and sweet and afternoons with Chaeyoung were always comfortable.
And there was a certain green-haired computer geek she loved keeping company in the lab. She didn’t think her days would be near as bright without Dahyuns thousand-watt-smile.
She didn’t feel so alone, anymore. And she just didn’t know if she could go back to a dusty, lonely apartment.
“How often do they get the chance?”
“Hm?”
“The people that want to kill you… How often do they, you know, get close?”
Jihyo gave a chuckle. “Not often. Not yet, at least. We have safety nets in place that do a good job. We’re well-hidden, and Mina and Dahyun keep our data pretty scrubbed from anywhere. But we’re no strangers to injury or danger. And there are security protocols you’ll need to follow that are admittedly a little annoying.”
Tzuyu nodded. Jihyo grew quiet as a guy around their age jogged by, but smiled politely when he wished them a good morning. They both stayed quiet for a few seconds after, too.
“Think about it. We’ll be here for you whatever you decide.”  Jihyo said, finally turning to face her. In the morning glow, Tzuyu almost saw kindness in her eyes. It quickly hardened. “But we better get back, now, before it gets too late. Jeongyeon will think I left you in a ditch somewhere.”
She extended a hand, pulling Tzuyu to her feet and dusting her off.
“What do you think? You’ve got another mile in you, right?”
Tzuyu’s eyes widened. Jihyo chuckled.
“I’m kidding. We’re around the corner from the complex.” She laughed, and set off away from the river.
Tzuyu followed her home.

MOVING ELECTRONICS IN HONG KONG'S RAINY SEASON: IMPORTANT TIPS FROM THE MOVERS
Relocation can be one of the most stressful and irritating experiences one can come across. Add moving delicate and very expensive electronics during Hong Kong's rainy season, and it all starts to turn into a nightmare. From April to September, with the period June to August being the peak one, comes with torrential rainfalls that can be pretty dangerous for electronic devices. It's where careful planning and professional moving expertise come in to play for the safe relocation of your electronics. Here are some vital tips to help guide you through the challenges of moving electronics during this wet season.
Understanding the Challenges
The rainy season in Hong Kong is accompanied by heavy rainfalls, high humidity, and occasional thunderstorms. The kind of weather that can cause all sorts of problems while moving electronics: water damage, short circuits, and malfunctioning due to excessive humidity. Professional movers understand these challenges and have strategies to mitigate the risks.
Pre-Move Preparations
1. Choose Experienced Movers: Get experienced movers who have handling experience in electronics and are conversant with the local climate. It will make the experienced moving company better at anticipating and addressing the particular challenges arising during the rainy season.
2. Inspect and Backup Data: Inspect all devices before the move to ensure they're in working order. Back up important data to avoid loss in case damage occurs during the move.
3. Use Original Packaging: If possible, use the original packaging of the electronics. Such packages are designed to provide maximum safety during movement. If there is no possibility of using the original packaging, high quality, sturdy boxes should be used.
4. Taping and Labelling Boxes: Seal all boxes containing electronics well with waterproof tape to prevent water infiltration. Clearly label these boxes with "Fragile" and "Electronics" so that the movers are warned to handle them with extra care.
Protective Packing Techniques
1. Waterproof Wrapping: Each electronic device should be wrapped in waterproof plastic wrap or placed in waterproof bags for protection from moisture. This is quite important in the case of more sensitive items, like laptops, tabs, and small home appliances.
2. Cushioning Materials: You may use bubble wrap, foam sheets, or even packing peanuts to pad your electronics. Such materials absorb shocks and vibrations during transit that may damage your electronics.
3. Silica Gel Packets: Place silica gel packets inside the boxes. Silica gel has the property of absorbing moisture and helps in keeping the environment inside the box dry, very essential during the rainy season when it is very humid.
Loading and Transportation
1. Climate-Controlled Trucks: Avail those movers who offer climate-controlled trucks. These will provide a safe, stable temperature and humidity for your electronics.
2. Elevate Boxes: Make sure boxes with electronics inside the moving truck stay off the floor and away from water in case of leaks or flooding.
3. Avoid Overloading: The truck should not be overfilled with boxes. The too-many boxes might cause shifting, which may cause breakage. Experts balance and load a truck for safety.
During the Move
1. Watch the Weather: Keep an eye on any bad weather that may be predicted for that day. If extreme weather is forecasted, reschedule for another day or day off to prevent your costly electronics from getting soaked.
2. Offload Fast: On reaching the destination, offload your electronics fast. This ensures they receive the minimum possible exposure to the humid environment. Make sure the new location is dry and ready for the electronics.
3. Check for Water Damage: Upon unpacking, inspect all electronic devices for water damage or malfunction. Plug in the devices to turn them on and check for functionality. If there are any discrepancies, notify the movers immediately so that claims can be filed if needed.
After the Move
1. Dehumidifiers: If needed, use dehumidifiers in your new location to reduce the level of humidity to make your electronics safer.
2. Proper Storage: Keep devices in a cool and dry place if you will not install it immediately. Not in basements or places with high humidity, and also not directly beside windows.
3. Regular Maintenance: Regularly have your devices maintained to keep them in good condition. This includes dusting and checking for dampness problems.
Conclusion The wet season in Hong Kong is really a challenging period to transport electronics, requiring great planning and skill from professional movers. With these tips, you can help your devices be safe from such challenges as soaking and soggy weather. You should always select seasoned movers who are conversant with the local climate and shall provide the relevant precautions for a smooth and safe relocation. Do everything meticulously, and you will be able to get through the rainy season without sacrificing any of your gadgets in the process.

The Monk and the Traveller Ch.4
Rain poured down, the rush of the downpour roaring like an the engine of an aviatic. The flora danced around the woods as they were struck by the heavy water and tossed about by the wind. If it rained any harder or blew any stronger, it would be a monsoon.
And Collier was half crouched, one leg ahead the other behind him, wearing a rain poncho that covered all of his back, water rolling off it along with the bucket hat pressed onto his head. He was surrounded by large bushes, obscuring his form as he watched the space ahead of him. He smoked a cigarette as he watched, light blue-grey smoke pooling around it before being whipped behind him by the gusts just above his head. He stared searchingly ahead of him, minute dancing of his pupils displaying a miraculous perception. His face was hard, blank of any emotion under his damp beard and wind-whipped face, yet his eyes espoused an innate, pure ecstasy at his adventure, simply from being out.
He gripped his new rifle at its middle, holding it relaxed in his arm. The Type 35, adopted in the 35th year of Meiji reign, 1902 was a stunning rifle. Commonly referred to as an Arisaka, though more accurately as a Arisaka-Nambu, as the latter modified the rifle’s predecessor for the Imperial Navy. It was just over 50” long, with pleasant brown wood, having a half length upper handguard and a two piece buttstock, angled so the grain was better for the butt. The front sight was a neat blade, driftable to change windage, a bayonet lug at the tip along with a brass tipped cleaning rod tucked into the front end of the stock. The rear sight was a Austrian style quadrant sight, like the one adopted in the Dutch 1895, an odd style of sight, but one that Collier quite liked. The action was covered by a wonderfully blued dust cover, the space ahead of it just before the rear sight featuring the rifles designation in kanji, along with the imperial chrysanthemum. The cover was manual, requiring a separate stroke of the hand to relocate it out of the way of the action. It was sealed at the moment, preventing the rain from reaching the bolt, still in the white, as it was from the factory, with a plum shaped bolt handle and a shortened and thickened hook-style safety, a modification of Arisaka’s type 30 design.
The rifle was on safe as he held it just ahead of the rear-sight, one 6.5mm Japanese cartridge chambered in the rifle already. The wind howled above him, the man slightly shielded by the bracken around him, the plants serving as natural windbreaks. The rain still fell however. It subsumed any sight of the world around him in its rapid strikes, turning the world near opaque. He stayed still, darting his gaze around, smoke whipping up from his cigarette, pressed between his lips. He had been there for a while, having hiked through the rain from his camp for hours before he found this place.
Then, he saw it, ahead of him with barely a single shiver of motion the foliage ahead of him bowed as they were nocked against. He slowly pulled the rifle up, shifting his left hand around the handguard from where he had gripped it as he grabbed the semi pistol grip, pressing out the lever on the side of the dust-cover and pressing it forward. He watched the space, silent as he held his rifle low, keeping the muzzle under the tall plants he crouched in. The space ahead of him was again disturbed by movement, any sound washed out by the rush of rain. A boar, large but lacking a mane and with white whiskers around its muzzle, barely visible from the range and through the rain. It seemed to dart its eyes around itself as it moved forward, keeping itself wrapped in foliage as it advanced. Purposeful, powerful, wild… free. Collier slowly brought the rifle into his shoulder, taking off the safety as he did, the metal butt-plate pressing into the rain poncho he wore. He took a drag of smoke as he pressed his cheek into the side of the stock, lining up his eyes and the sights, placing the rear sight on four-hundred meters. Where the bore was moving slowly but firmly.
He aimed, giving the rifle a slight bit of lead as the boar continued. Then he fired. The shattering boom of the rifle broke through the rush of rain for only a miniscule moment, the rifle offering barely any muzzle flash due to the long barrel and well burning powder. The bullet sailed through the air and struck the boar in the side of the head, its sodden corpse falling down into the high grass that surrounded it, a fragile whisp of smoke coming from the 35’s muzzle. Collier brought the rifle down to his hip, snapping the rifle open, the semi rimmed 6.5 case spinning out in a brass cartwheel as the hunter looked out to where the boar had gone down.
He raised himself up, positioning his feet under him as he began to approach the boars body, still crouched to not make his presence obvious. He gripped his rifle in both hands as he strode forward, weaving around the trees and rocks where they sprung from the ground in the way of his path. He left the thing live as he continued, though keeping his finger away from the trigger, wary that there could be another boar nearby. After a decent distance he came to the creature, its body laid on a bed of juniper bushes, mint and tall grass. The side of its head was punctured, a hollow space an inch or two behind one of its eyes where the round had punctured through. Collier placed the rifle on safe, pulling back the hooked cocking piece then rotating it up just over centre before he slung the piece over his shoulder. He pulled his knife from its holster on his hip, reaching under the poncho, then began swiftly carving the beast.
As he did, pressing the knife through the hide and flesh of the creature into sections, he wrapped them up to take back. Then, he heard as approaching rush of motion, accompanied by the snap of breaking plants. He stiffened for a moment, raising up slightly as he still leant over the boor, one hand hovering over the knife still in the creature’s side. He kept still as he tried to trace the direction the sound was coming from, struggling to place the sound as it was muffled by the rain. He waited to see if it would pass, if it was just an animal rushing past, unrelated to what was going on. He kept still, feeling the weight of the water falling harder and harder on him as the wind whipped around, tugging at his sodden poncho. His eyes darted about, silenced by the tumultuous noise around him.
Then, he heard the rapid shiver of plants along with the near transient sound of running closing in behind him. He flung his right hand to his holster, spinning around to the noise as he pulled out the Webley, his poncho flaring out widely behind him. He levelled the sights over the snarling face of a boar, far larger than the one he had been stalking. He fired as it leapt at him, the creature disappearing behind a plume of black powder smoke yet charging forward still, Collier’s foot slipping underneath him as he tried to back away, firing again, feeling the seconds as the revolver re-cocked and let loose the hammer. The .477 calibre bullet drilling itself into the creature’s right eye, the force nocking it from its path as it dug itself into the ground just left of the Englishman, himself having fallen to the ground, tearing up the soil as it ploughed through it.
Collier was left breathing heavily as he looked down at the titan of an animal, laying still, dead. The smell of black powder mingled with the rain as the latter showered down, beads of rain collecting on the revolver’s finish. Collier burst out a quick laugh pulling himself to his feet, his clothes now damp under his rain poncho. He smiled widely, feeling his heart pound in his chest from fear and exhilaration. He broke open the revolver, sliding in two more bullets into the cylinder before replacing the weapon back into its holster. He offered a prayer to the two animals, muttering in an unintelligible language to anyone who could hear it. After he had collected everything from the animals, including the hide, teeth and a single rib from the larger beast, he began to make his way back.
He had lost his cigarette when the second boar had charged so he simply enjoyed breathing the clean, damp air of the woods as he went back. His boots occasionally got caught in the bracken, though he pushed through with a small bit of effort, the ground sinking underfoot. Then he got to his camp, a small setup under an arch of stone, shielded from the rain, though having a small raised bunk made of wood and a roll Collier had laid out for a bed. He came under the arch, feeling the rain be pulled from him by the obstacle. He removed his hat and poncho as he came up to his camp, hanging them onto a tepee of twigs, facing an empty fire pit.
He sat down on the raised bed, removing the meat from his pack and setting them aside. He stared out ahead of him for a while, taking a content breath as he looked out at the black, rain filled horizon. He pulled out a small tin from one of his rucksacks, having left it there for the day, and popped it open, pulling out a small rose coloured barley sweet, or boiled sweet if you prefer, and plopped it into his mouth. He snapped the tin shut, smiling to himself as he sucked on it, placing the tin down beside him and grabbing a small hardback notebook, cloth bound, and a pencil. He worked in the book for an hour or so, occasionally taking another boiled sweet or filling up an enamelled tin cup with rain water for a drink, just holding it slightly beyond the edge of the rock.
After a while, he placed the book down, having run out of light. He pulled a few lengths of wood from a pile and placed them onto the pile along with some dry leaves and wood cuttings. He struck a match, shielding it with his hand in case there was a gust of wind, kneeling down to the pit. He placed it into the chips, waiting it for the flame to take, the wood still slightly damp. He kept trying for about ten minutes, the first time after it had took, the flame just burning out half way down the wood chip.
He was about to pull out a third match and strike it when he heard the sound of movement at his side. He placed both the match box and the single match onto the unlit logs, then reached for his rifle, having set it aside as he crouched down. He pressed the cover forward, then pulled the bolt slightly back to check there was a bullet in the chamber before locking it back up. He gripped it in both hands, scanning the dim wilderness ahead of him fenced in by forest and ground cover, keeping the muzzle of the rifle aimed upwards. He flicked his eyes around ahead of him, searching for the form of anything that was close. Then he saw what looked like the figure of a man, coming closer. He levied the rifle at him, pressing the sight down to the lowest position, having been told to watch for bandits in the area.
“Who’s there?” Collier called out, keeping his finger far from the trigger as he did. The figure shifted, seemingly jumping at having been noticed. “If you have poor intentions, I recommend that you depart from this place,” Collider declared, respectable yet cold, militant. The figure seemed to fluster for a second, searching for Collier’s voice.
“I-I’m simply traveling through here, you don’t have to worry about my intentions,” the figure shouted through the storm, hushed but familiar to the Englishman. The figure finally seemed to spot where Collier was and began to approach, the armed man looking at the figure as he came closer. “After all,” the voice continued, half-consumed by the rain and wind, “I am an honourable monk,” the voice called, coming into view-revealing the sodden from of the monk Collier had met a few days before.
Cherry was smiling, pleasantly though with a hint of nervousness as he approached, looking as if he had narrowly escaped being drowned. His robes clung to him, looking as if they had been soaked for days, shivering subconsciously from the cold, yet bearing himself wide, trying to seem unthreatening as he approached. Collier’s suddenly became very surprised, lowering the rifle and pointing it away from his acquaintance, placing it on safe before standing up. “Is that you, Nekomata-San?” he questioned, putting a hand near his mouth to try and make his voice carry.
The figure again jerked, though more violently this time, opening his previously squinted eyes to stare at his patron from a few days ago. He felt a flush of embarrassment, but also of indignation, showing only the latter on his face. And not much of it even then. “Ah… Collier-San… Why are you here?” he asked slowly, a strained smile on his face, pressing his eyes closed so they wouldn’t betray his displeasure as he pressed his hands together, gripping his staff between them as he did.
“I was hunting,” he replied simply, then drew as step closer to the monk, who was now walking closer, wanting to get out of the rain, “what about you, you look as if you’ve been drowned,” Collier burst out, concern mingled with boisterous amusement.
“That might’ve been preferable,” the monk replied, striding further in, his robes squelching slightly from the rain, “it wouldn’t be so cold,” standing near Collier’s soaked poncho, his face somewhat blue from the cold.
“Right,” Collier pronounced resolutely, grabbing a flask from an inside pocket, unscrewing the top and pouring about half onto the logs, getting a bewildered and somewhat insulted look from the frozen holy man. He then span around to the smaller man, shoving the flask into his hands, “drink that,” he asserted turning back to the fire as he grabbed the match box.
“Ah, uh, no thanks, I’m not thirsty,” Cherry nervously began, seeming to search for words.
Collier then grabbed the flask again and forced the smaller mans mouth open before pouring in a large amount of the drink in, Cherry’s tastebuds instantly being strangled by the taste of spirits as Collier yelled, “Drink!” Cherry coughed and spluttered as he was handed the flask, looking up at Collier as he walked away. He then struck a match and tossed it onto the fire, the pile of logs instantly being swallowed by a roaring blaze, radiating heat through the small camp. Cherry looked between the now raging fire and the Englishman, now placing meat into a small metal pot along with some other ingredients, half coving his mouth with one hand as he spluttered slightly still, tears in his eyes from the drink.
“W-what was that for?!” Cherry spluttered, choking again on the hard liquor Collier had given him. The larger man looked up at the monk, chopping something with his hunting knife and dropping it into the pot while he did.
“To keep you warm, obviously,” the man replied with an amused huff, smiling at Cherry, grabbing a pail of water from nearby, having been filled by the rain, and poured it into the pot. Cherry looked at him with an insulted expression, noticing how he was begging to feel warmer, both from  the fire and the drink. Not that he wanted to admit it.
“…Thank you,” Cherry grumbled, sitting down on the ground, his clothes squelching slightly. Collier smiled at him quickly, seeming to waive off the thanks as not needed, placing the pot into the frames hung from a small wooden frame.
“I’d recommend that you take off your robes though, they’re soaked and they won’t dry on you,” Collier responded instructively, stirring the stew as he did.
“I don’t exactly have a change of clothes,” the monk snapped back irritably.
“There’s a blanket over there,” Collier replied simply, not turning to the man as he tended the fire. Cherry looked at him with displeasure, though his expression was unseen to the larger man, “your options are that or hypothermia my good chap,” Collier sternly added, his voice darkening slightly. Cherry looked up at him slightly irritated, but then removed his clothes, leaving on a few underclothes for the sake of decency before bundling himself in the wool blanket Collier had directed him to. Collier hung up the monk’s robes on a few sticks he stabbed into the ground, close to the fire so they would dry quicker.
As Collier tended the fire, his face set into a relaxed smile as he stirred the food. “So, who tried to drown you then?” he asked humorously as the other man looked at him sourly, “Did a dragon invite you to their palace?” he added, the monk being confused at the legend he was referencing.
“No, I just was walking through the rain,” Cherry replied grumpily, shifting under the blanket, then pulling it in closer, bundling himself up.
“What? Through a riverbed?” Coller replied in a bemused tone of voice, agitating the monk further.
“… I was hoping that I would find somewhere to stop and wait out the rain as I was walking,” he retorted indignantly, then went quiet, “but there was nothing that wasn’t already sodden with rain, or would shield me from the wind,” the monk replied tiredly.
“Don’t you have something to protect you from the rain, besides your hat?” Collier asked, somewhat bewildered.
Cherry was silent for a moment , then turned away, “it got stolen,” he mumbled using agitation to hide his embarrassment. Collier looked at him with a expression of moderate disbelief but then sighed with a light laugh.
“You are a marvel,” he replied in a sing song tone voice, obviously amused, much to the chagrin of the holy man who was now glowering at him. “You can borrow my spare rain coat until you get a new one for yourself then,” Collier declared imposingly, not expecting a protest. The monk looked at him with slight surprise, but then decided that it was natural to receive alms when in need, letting the incident feed his ego slightly.
“Thank you,” he replied back after a moment, sounding noble as he did, despite looking like a drowned sphinx cat. They were silent for a while, Cherry not having much to say as he tried to keep warm and dry off, Collier content with the silence as he stirred the food.
When the food was done, he filled a mug with a large portion of the soup, getting a decent amount of meat into it, and handed it or more shoved it into the monk’s grasp. The smaller man brought it up to his lips, trepidation being strangled by ravenous hunger as he drank it down as quickly as he could. It was somewhat salty, which mixed well with the herbs and the meat, the broth being pleasant in the mouth despite the temperature. He drank down a few more cups, thanking Collier for the meal as he offered a prayer to Buddha. After that, finally having warmed up and properly eaten for the first time in days, he passed out unceremoniously on the floor like a damp cat.
Collier looked at him slightly bemused then laid out a cloth which he rolled the monk onto. He stayed away for a while, making himself a cup of coffee as he watched the monsoon though the pitch black night. After he got bored, having watched for danger long enough, he laid himself on the makeshift bed and settled into a light sleep.
Collier woke up to the sound of dying rain, the downpour beginning to thin after its multiday barrage. He shifted so he was sat upright, hanging his legs over the side of his makeshift bed as he looked out ahead of him, early signs of daylight dancing ahead of him. It was that sort of day where, though the sun was hidden, it was bright. He filled up a mug with water then drank it down swiftly, letting out a relived exhale as he stared out ahead of him, pulling out a cigarette and pressing it between his lips as he struck a match on its box then tossed the remains of the igniter into the long-dead ashes of yesterday’s fire. He inhaled the smoke into his lungs before exhaling slowly, blueish-grey smoke pouring from his mouth until it was caught by the wind and dragged away in a panic.
Cherry was still laid on the floor, wrapped up in his blanket, his mouth hung slightly open as he breathed slowly through his nose, his thin moustache disturbed by each exhale. Collier pulled on his boots, taking drags of his cigarette at irregular intervals as he tied the laces, then rose to his feet. He walked over to Cherry’s robes and checked they were dry before folding them onto the makeshift bed he had made for himself, along with a spare rain poncho. He pulled out a small wrapped parcel, unfolding one end of it and pulling out a few slabs of hardtack and a small tin pot of raspberry jam, which he spread on the former and bit into, the rock-hard biscuit snapping in his jaws as he chewed them, looking out into the drowned morning.
After a few minutes, the monk began to stir in his sleep before groggily raising his head as if her were a vampire, bundled in his blankets. He looked around with bleary eyes for a moment, his brain not quite awake enough to perceive things as the same rate his eyes could look at them. He then seemed to suddenly snap to waking life, as if a rock had been tossed onto a frozen lake, and dart his head around, looking for his clothes as he clutched the blanket s closer to his chest until he saw them on the bed, and Collier a moment after.
His erratic expression flexed back into its usual sourness after that, though with some begrudging appreciation visible on his countenance. “Good morning!” Collier called to him energetically, Cherry grumbling something in reply as he stood up, wrapping the blanket around him like a cloak as he strolled over to his robes.
“Good morning,” he formally responded as he grabbed his robes, Collier turning away to give the man his privacy as he changed, smiling out at the now alive morning ahead of him. As Cherry pulled on the final robe of his kāṣāya, he spotted the rain poncho. Something between a neutral expression and a frown came on his face, though not from dissatisfaction that it was offered, more vexation that he needed it. He picked it up swiftly and pulled it over himself, wearing a slightly aloof expression as he put it on, like a king donning his robes, then placed his paddy hat back upon his head, adjusting it slightly as he turned to look at Collier, the hunter taking a bite of jam-covered hardtack while he held his cigarette between the fingers of his other hand, hanging about his pocket.
“So, why are you really here?” Cherry entreated sourly, fiddling with the top latches of his raincoat as he came abreast of the taller man. Collier looked down at Cherry with a slightly perturbed expression, not quite understanding his meaning, so resorting to a half-cocked smile. “I know you said you were here for hunting, but what exactly for?” he again pursued, more energetic now in his question.
“Oh, boar mostly, though I did manage to get some waterfowl from the lake nearby, along with some squirrels-”
“No! I mean why’re you camping outside, rather than staying at the inn!” Cherry snapped, interrupting Collier.
“Oh, right,” Collier replied, seemingly unabashed by the interruption chuckling slightly, “I never planned to stay there long, I prefer to keep moving. I actually left shortly after you…” he finished, taking a drag of his cigarette to punctuate his sentence. Cherry looked up at him with a somewhat bewildered expression, but decided to not bother to try and rationalise it. “What about you? I understand you’re on an ascetic journey, but where’s your next specific destination?” he asked, looking down at Cherry.
The monk in question gave a side glance to his repeat patron, then sighed, “I’m travelling to the next town over. There is a post office there, and I’m waiting on a letter from my family,” Cherry responded succinctly, glancing up at the man to gauge his reaction.
“I see, are your family also monks?” Collier responded genially, wearing the same warm smile often did.
“Yes, they are, though only two of my sisters help at the temple,” Cherry informed, a note dismay when mentioning the temple.
“They work for your local temple then?” Collier asked, curiosity clear in his voice as he looked down at the monk, the latter’s face mostly hidden under his hat.
“Yes,” he replied, not exactly lying. Collier seemed to consider something to himself for a moment, then flick the ashes of his cigarette away and turn back to the fire, walking over to it to ensure that it was out. [The rest is continued in the collection of snippets.]

Navigating Relocation: Tips for Selecting a Reliable Home Moving Company
Relocating to a new home is a significant event that requires careful planning and organization. One of the most critical decisions you’ll make during this process is selecting a reliable home moving company.
The right movers can make the transition smooth and stress-free, while the wrong choice can lead to delays, damages, and added costs. Here are some essential tips for selecting a reliable home moving company to ensure your relocation goes as smoothly as possible.
Tumblr media
Start with Research and Recommendations
Begin your search by gathering recommendations from friends, family, and colleagues who have recently moved. Personal experiences can provide valuable insights into the reliability and professionalism of different moving companies.
Additionally, conduct online research to find companies in your area. Websites like Yelp, customer Reviews, and the Better Business Bureau (BBB) offer customer reviews and ratings that can help you assess a company's reputation.
Verify Credentials and Licensing
Ensure that the moving company you are considering is properly licensed and insured. In the United States, interstate movers are required to register with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and obtain a unique DOT number.
Tumblr media
You can verify a mover’s licensing status and check for any complaints on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) website. For local moves, check with your state’s regulatory body to confirm the company’s credentials.
Obtain Multiple Quotes
Contact at least three moving companies to request detailed, written estimates. Be cautious of estimates given over the phone or online without an in-person assessment of your belongings.
A reputable moving company will conduct an on-site evaluation or a video survey to provide a more accurate quote. Compare the estimates, looking for transparency in pricing and a clear breakdown of services and fees.
Understand the Services Offered
Different moving companies offer varying levels of service. Determine your needs and ensure the company can meet them. Services may include packing and unpacking, loading and unloading, bulk storage solutions, and specialized handling for fragile or valuable items. Clarify what is included in the estimate and ask about any additional costs for extra services.
Check for Insurance and Liability Coverage
Ask about the company’s insurance policies and liability coverage. While most moving companies offer basic coverage, it may not fully protect your belongings. Consider purchasing additional insurance for valuable or irreplaceable items. Ensure you understand the terms of coverage, including how to file a claim in case of loss or damage.
Look for Red Flags
Be aware of warning signs that may indicate a less reputable moving company. These can include:
Requests for large deposits or full payment upfront.
Lack of a physical address or company branding.
Incomplete or vague contract terms.
Poor communication or unprofessional behavior.
Overly low estimates that seem too good to be true.
Read the Contract Carefully
Tumblr media
Before signing any agreement, thoroughly read the contract and ensure you understand all terms and conditions. The contract should include:
The company’s contact information.
A detailed list of services and their costs.
The pickup and delivery dates.
Insurance and liability coverage details.
The process for filing claims.
Plan Ahead and Book Early
Reliable moving companies are often booked well in advance, especially during peak moving seasons (spring and summer). Once you have chosen a mover, book their services as early as possible to secure your desired moving date. Early booking also allows for better planning and preparation.
Communicate Clearly
Maintain open and clear communication with your chosen moving company throughout the process. Provide detailed instructions and any special requirements, such as the handling of fragile items or access restrictions at your new home. Clear communication helps prevent misunderstandings and ensures a smoother move.
Conclusion
Selecting a reliable home moving company is crucial for a successful relocation. By conducting thorough research, verifying credentials, obtaining detailed quotes, and understanding the services offered, you can make an informed decision. Careful planning and clear communication with your chosen movers will help ensure a seamless and stress-free transition to your new home. With these tips in mind, you’ll be well-equipped to navigate your relocation with confidence.

Hi hi i sent you an ask a couple months ago about becoming a flight attendant. I’m really considering it now but i have no idea where to start. Do you have any other tips or recommendations? Anything at all would be so helpful thank you again 🖤
good to hear from you!!!! okay this is super general but hopefully it gives you an idea on where to start????
email subscribe to job listings at all the airlines you want to work for! most airlines open up the flight attendant listing for a small period of time before closing it again, since they get so many applications...you can usually do this through their websites so youll know right away when they open
application process for most airlines is online app/assesment -> virtual interview -> in-person interview. when you submit your resume, make sure you keyword match with words used in the job listing. its all computerized! if you want to make it to the next round, make sure the computer can recognize that your resume has relevant experience (most airlines want customer service/safety related experience)
for the in-person interview: its usually a group interview and a one-on-one. what i noticed is they do prefer very friendly and bubbly people, but you dont need to be biggest personality in the room (Actually i think a lot of the interviewers didnt like that, in my experience). just smile a lot and look very professional and put together!! dress standards are pretty strict across all airlines.
if you cant get an interview a mainline airline, a lot of people start at regional airlines and then move to mainline. the thing that sucks about regional is that the pay is worse, you fly to less locations, but there are some pros, reserve tends to be less chaotic, and its easier to gain seniority. it may be worth it to get a foot in the door
you MAY need to relocate for this job. research the bases for each airline, and see if they are cities you are willing to live in. while most airlines allow you to have preferences or eventually transfer….theres no guarantee you'll be placed where you want straight out of training. i didnt get my first choice of city right away. i would highly suggest you start saving money right now because you may end up needing it whereever you go!!! some flight attendants commute/fly to their base city but…i dont really reccomend it, especially if you are on reserve. it makes your life a lot more stressful and can be like a second job
knowing a second language helps! some airlines have language specific job listings BUT - it may limit where you can work. for example if you are a hindi speaker, and the airline only flies to india out of JFK, you WILL be based out of JFK.
i hope this helps a little bit!!!! i wish you nothing but the best on your journey!!!!! lemme know if you have specific questions i know its a crazy complicated process lol
