Attack on Prime: What if Optimus arrived in Episode 1 instead of Episode 5?

Summary: After the events of Predacons Rising, Optimus became one with Primus to ensure life would flourish on his world. But instead of eternal peace, he is somehow sent to the world of the Titans: where humans are no longer at the top of the food chain and are only safe behind walls. But instead of being sent to the Battle of Trost, he is sent to the moment where it all began: the fall of Shinganshina.

(Okay, so I have been…feeling like shit lately, which is kind of why I took a break. I needed the break. I had a lot going on. But I'm glad I did. I was really productive when it came to both writing and drawing. I finished this. I made progress on Guren No Yumiya. It's not finished. I wish it was. I made a few art pieces and animatics (poorly drawn animatics but I take pride in them). And I wrote the pilot for the Episode 1 timeline. It's definitely the shortest one out of the ones I've published so far, possibly because I didn't need to do too much set up.

"I only ask of this of you fellow Autobots: keep fighting the noblest of fights." Optimus requested.

"You can count on us to keep the peace." Bumblebee reassured.

Optimus gave a small yet bitter smile for his team. He stared a little longer than he thought, doing his best to memorize their faces, knowing that this would be the last time he saw them. The Prime then turned back to the mouth of the well, feeling a strange sensation at how long the drop was. Optimus then activated the jet wings on his back, and he flew high into the sky. The Autobots watched in sadness as Optimus turned around and dove headfirst towards the core of their planet: to Primus himself.

The closer that Optimus got to the center of their planet, the brighter the light of the core had become. It had been eons since he had come to this place to receive the Matrix of Leadership, and now, it was time for him to give it back. He opened his chest, revealing the Matrix of Leadership in all of its glory. As he was almost to the core, he began to think to himself. He was happy. He was happy that the fighting was finally over. He can die happy knowing that he brought back peace and saved the planet that gave him life. He knew his comrades, his family, would keep the peace. He had complete faith in them.

He closed his optics and a small smile formed on his face as he let warm light consume him.

The sounds of thunder caused his optics to snap open. He shot up to a sitting position, looking around frantically wondering what that sound was. It's only when his vision began to focus that he realized that...he was somewhere else. He was...back on Earth? It...it looked like Earth. The sky was slightly cloudy, but the sun was beginning to set, changing the color of the sky from blue to orange. He was surrounded by tall pine trees, and the blades of grass prickled the metal of his dark servos.

Wait...dark? Optimus raised his servo to his faceplate and was stunned to see the older model. The upgrade that he acquired from the forge of Solus Prime had changed the color and the structure of his servos. Optimus looked down at his legs and found that they weren't robust but slender. Even his back felt lighter. Optimus heard the sounds of rushing water and stood up. He followed the sounds to a clear river, traveling down his right side through the forest ahead. The Prime kneeled down to see his reflection, and nearly gasped at the sight of him. He was back in his old form. Optimus couldn't help but touch his audio receptors and his antennae to make sure he wasn't hallucinating. But sure enough, it was there. It was real. He was alive.

But...why? He shouldn't be alive. He should be one with Primus or reincarnated. Did merging with Primus not work? Were the souls of the Allspark still with him? No...no they couldn't be. When he merged them all with his own spark and the Matrix, he could feel their presence, practically hear them all shouting. But now...it was quiet.

Why in the Allspark did this feel like déjà vu?

Optimus gasped when he felt the ground quake and lightning come down from the sky. His gaze followed the direction of the lightning strike and saw that it struck a massive wall off in the distance. The Prime stared in horror at the sight of a massive, skinless, Titan that peered over the wall. Its muscles were just as red as blood. Optimus transformed into his old alt mode and drove as fast as he could towards the wall and the massive threat. When he arrived, he transformed back into his bipedal mode and skidded to a stop to the now destroyed entrance of the wall. Optimus saw the massive bodyseated at the entrances, the muscles and skeletons slowly dissolving into hot steam. Optimus also noticed a figure climbing over the wall, but before he could pursue, the sounds of terrified screams caught his attention. Optimus ran through the destroyed gate and stared in horror at the sight of giant, naked titans lumbering towards humans with permanent expressions of apathy, sadness, and most uncomfortably, glee. These titans picked up the humans running for their lives and started to devour them. Some would be swallowed whole while others would be killed by the strong bite force of these creatures. Blood spewed onto their bodies and onto the ground, creating more panic and terror among the populous.

Optimus gritted his dentas before letting his battle mask cover his mouth on instinct. He pulled out both blasters from his arms and aimed at the titan that was closest to him which was holding a human. He shot the titan through the head, causing the beast to tilt and fall over on its side, hitting the ground hard. Optimus noticed the way the titan body began to disintegrate and turn into steam like the massive pile of skeletons outside. His blasters were good; they were effective in taking out the threat. Optimus started running through the town and shooting down any titans that were in his line of sight. He then spotted a sadistic looking titan with an unhinged smile pulling a woman from the rubble of a wreckage. The long rows of unnecessary teeth scared him, and he saw the way the woman was beating against the hand that was holding her. As the titan reached out with its other hand to snap her spine, Optimus used his blaster and fired at the titan.

Eren tried. He really, really tried to pull the roof of the house off of his mom with Mikasa's help. But they couldn't do it. They were too weak. Not even the motivation of the people's screams and the titans invading their home could give them enough of that adrenaline to lift the damn wood off of their mother's back! Where was dad?! Someone help them!

“Then I’ll carry you out of here mom!” Eren swore as blood continued to seep from his wounds.

“Damn it Eren! Why won’t you listen to your mother for once in your life?! Just this one thing!” Carla shouted at him before turning to Mikasa, “Mikasa make him!”

Mikasa’s mouth grew tight as she hung her head and swallowed her tears, continuing to try and pull the roof off of her mother, “I…I can’t!”

Eren saw Hannes! He heard Hannes fly in and his mother call out his name! He felt some hope! Yes! Hannes could distract the titans while they got their mom out! He ignored what his mother was screaming at Hannes as he ran towards the titan coming towards them. C'mon! C'mon! Hannes please buy enough time! Just enough time! But Eren was then taken aback when Hannes’ arm wrapped around him. He was heaved over the man shoulder as he went to grab Mikasa.

"Hey! Hannes! What the hell are you doing?!" Eren screamed at him as Hannes began to run away. He could still see his mother trapped in the rubble and tried to reach out for her. "We can't leave her! Mom!"

"Eren! Mikasa!" He could see Carla reaching out for them, "You need to live on!"

Eren gasped when a titan landed on top of their house and dug through the rubble. He saw the titan pull his mother out of the rubble and screamed for her. "STOP!"

Carla slammed her fist on the hand that was holding her. The titan terrified her so much, but she still had to fight. She had to try and fight her way out of this beast's grip. But it was no use. The titan, with that wide, sadistic, permanent smile reached its other hand out towards her. To crush her. She didn't want to die! Please she didn't want to!

Unexpectedly, the titan's head exploded in a ball of blue light, causing Carla to scream and for Eren to gasp in confusion. What...what the hell was that?! Eren realized from the second ball of blue light that hit the titan in the chest that it was an attack. Someone, something, attacked the titan! Carla screamed as the titan body toppled over and hit the ground hard. The grip on the decaying, eroding, corpse loosened, allowing her to scramble out and crawl away using her hands.

"Hannes!" Eren yelled as he slammed his fist onto his head. Eren gasped when he noticed another abnormal titan running up to the house. Up to his mother! "HANNES TURN AROUND!"

"Kid, we can't-!" Hannes froze when he noticed the strange titan and quickly ran back to rubble.

"Ma'am, are you alright?!" a voice called out to her. Carla was about to respond, but froze when she realized what was speaking. She looked up to see a metal titan adorned in red and blue. It had no mouth to speak of, but those glowing blue eyes were scaring her to the point where she started screaming again and scrambling to get away. She tried to get up and walk, but she was sure the titan holding her really crushed her legs! She couldn't get up!

"Ma'am, I will not hurt you!" The titan spoke again, trying to reassure her.

"Get away from her!" Hannes yelled at the titan, still holding the two children.

Carla gasped and swatted her hand at them. "Hannes! Run! RUN!"

The titan noticed them and quickly stood up and raised its foot high into the air.

"Oh shit!" Hannes yelled, preparing to be crushed and eaten. He kneeled down to protect the kids in his arms from the impact, but the titan kicked a four meter class titan in the neck that was right behind them and almost killed the trio, punting it high into the air and over the wall, right back to the outside!

"Huh?" Mikasa could only emit in fear.

"Shit!" Eren bit Hannes' hand, forcing the Garrison to let him go and for him to roll on the ground. "MOM!" He scrambled to his feet and ran to his mother, ignoring her pleas to stay away. He tackled her into a hug and started crying in her arms.

"Eren, you need to go! Go now!" Carla begged her son.

"I swear to you I will not harm you!" the titan swore, causing Eren to stare up in shock. Titans...titans can speak? The titan was suddenly alerted to the sound of screams and saw another human in the grasp of a titan. It pulled out a gun, and Carla instinctively shielded her body on top of Eren's as the titan fired that blue light to kill the titan. The titan then noticed Hannes and seemed to look him up and down, like he was examining him.

"Are you military?!" The titan demanded.

"Y-yes! I-!"

"Get the civilians out of here, now!" the titan ordered. Eren managed to catch the strange symbol of a face on his arm before it suddenly...shifted?...transformed?...into a strange carriage. He rode as fast as the wind into the ongoing chaos in Shinganshina. Was it…going to save the people here? Was a titan actually going to save humanity?!

"What?" Eren muttered wordlessly.

"Can you walk?!" Hannes asked Carla.

"I can't feel my legs!" Carla answered.

"Alright!" Hannes quickly set Mikasa down before carrying Carla bridal style, "We need to get you three to the boat! C'mon! Run!"

"What was that?!" Mikasa asked.

"I don't know, just run!" Hannes ordered.

Eren and Mikasa started running towards the gate to Wall Maria with Hannes following close behind.

Meanwhile, Optimus continued driving his way throughout the walled town, transforming into his bipedal mode to take out as many titans as possible with his blasters. He wasn't sure how to seal the breach in the outer wall, but he knows that if another one is made through the gate in the inner wall, then there would be more consequences and lives lost.

That's when Optimus spotted it. An Armored Titan in a sprinting position, the trajectory towards that undamaged gate. As the titan began running, Optimus drove as fast as he could towards the gate, scaring the humans in his way and causing them to jump out of the way. When he reached the gate, the Armored Titan had almost bulldozed his way through, but Optimus rammed the titan into its side, causing the two of them to crash into multiple houses.

Optimus transformed into his bipedal mode and punched the Armored Titan twice in the face, but the Armored Titan grabbed him and threw him off of it. Optimus easily landed on his feet and skidded to a stop. Optimus noticed the Armored Titan’s had no real expression, its face adorned in armored leaving a permanent expression of stern and intimidating. But the body language of the beast said otherwise. It was afraid of him. It was scrambling to its feet to try and get into a fighting stance to counter attack, but Optimus bolted and tackled it to the ground and the rubble.

The Garrison atop the houses watched in stunned silence at the sight. That Metal Titan was fighting the Armored Titan. Titans were fighting amongst themselves. And from what some had seen earlier, this Metal Titan was protecting humanity! What kind fucked up situation was that?!

Optimus used all of his strength to pin the Armored Titan to the ground, shoving his servo in its face to keep it there. "Stay down!" Optimus grunted when the Armored didn't listen and smacked him in the face hard with its arm. Optimus rolled across the ground and crashed into a few houses. He sat up and watched the Armored shed the armored plating behind its lower legs before bolting towards him. Optimus quickly transformed and drove backwards, leading the Armored further and further away from the gate that was now reopening to take more civilians.

"Go! GO!" A Garrison screamed at the civilians as they ran through the gate.

"Is there still a boat here?!" Hannes demanded, still carrying Carla in his arms, with Eren and Mikasa close behind.

"Hannes, what the hell are you doing?! Get back to your station!" the Garrison ordered.

"Not until I get them to safety!" Hannes shouted.

The Garrison looked annoyed and conflicted but pointed behind him, "Get to the boat before it leaves!"

"C'mon!" Hannes ordered the children as they continued running. Eren couldn't help but look back at the chaos happening behind them. A titan...fighting for humanity? A titan...that saved humans? It was surreal, a reversal of everything he ever knew, and stuff he felt needed to be called into question.

“Eren!” Eren snapped his head to the voice calling his name and gasped when he saw Armin waving to him on the boat, his grandfather seated on the ground with only his hat visible.

“Armin!” Eren called out to him as the four of them boarded the boat.

“What’s going on?!” Armin asked as Hannes set Carla on the ground.

“There’s a Metal Titan!” Eren explained, “And it’s fighting some Armored Titan and stopping it from destroying the wall!”

“What?!” Armin exclaimed.

Optimus skidded to a stop and drove in a circle, tripping the Armored and causing it to slam into the ground face first. Optimus saw cracks form in the Armored face before running and punching it in the face to the ground. Optimus grabbed the creatures arm and used all of his strength to twist it. The Armored had size going for it. It was clearly much bigger than him, but it clearly lacked battle experience. Optimus knew where to press his pedes, where to put more strain to twist. He let out a battle cry before twisting the arm clean off and tossing it to the side. The arm crashed into some houses and two other smaller titans.

Optimus was distracted by that moment of victory when the Armored used the remaining arm to smack him in the chest. Optimus yelled in pain at the sensation, and the Armored used its remaining arm to grab him by the face and slam him into the ground. Optimus could feel pain shoot up his back. He could feel the dirt and debris scratch his paint and metal plating, but Optimus grit his teeth and endured the pain. Optimus transformed his servo into a blaster and aimed it directly at its face. Before the Armored had time to process, Optimus fired, shattering the cracked, armored plating in one go. The Armored yelled in pain, scratching at its face to try and get rid of the energon burning in its muscle. The pieces of the armor hit the ground before it slowly began to erode. Optimus jumped and smacked the blaster in the Armored face, knocking it to the ground. Optimus then used his blaster to blow off the left leg of the Armored, causing it to cry out even louder.

Optimus saw that it was immobile and stood atop it. He aimed his blaster directly at the titan's face. For some reason, he managed to catch tears streaming down that charred face, but the Prime chose to ignore it. There were too many lives currently at risk, and this titan was going to raise that causality count even higher by destroying that gate. He had to make a decision.

Optimus charged his blaster at the Armored's head, blowing it clean off, and leaving nothing but the nape of the neck. Optimus watched the titan body crumble and decay under his pede. The remaining armor eroded, then the muscle, and finally, the bones turned to nothing but dust. Optimus’ pede that was resting on the Armored’s chest ended up hitting the ground once the body was gone. Organic material isn’t able survive the full force of energon based weapons. The enemy was taken care of.

However, Optimus was alerted to the sounds of more terrified screams and turned his helm to the chaos that was still happening and the titans still running rampant across the town. He noticed a human flying towards him with that strange contraption around his waist. "Evacuate the humans! I will deal with the titan threat!"

"Wait-!" Hannes watched the titan run towards the hostile titans in the around Shinganshina. It continued to kill the titans with its guns, without even hitting them in the neck. It was…amazing, awe-inspiring. This titan was able to save humanity from losing Wall Maria. Hannes snapped out of his shock and went right back into the fray, trying to find as many survivors as possible, unaware of the two children atop the walls. A boy carried an exhausted girl on her back and ran along the length of the massive structure.

The Survey Corps was having a bad day. Well, they've always had bad days. It was never easy for them.

They had always suffered heavy losses when they came back from their expeditions from outside the walls. But when they returned, and they had given the arm of Moses to the weeping mother, something inside of their Commander Keith Shadis clearly snap. He broke. He broke down in front of everyone and walked away in shame. He had given up. All those years of leading and failing had finally taken its toll on Keith. The next thing they all new, Erwin had become the 13th Commander of the Survey Corps.

Erwin had to go through protocol. Appoint scouts to squad leader positions, inform Zackley about the change in command. It was late and it was quite a bit of work to accomplish, but then...they heard about the wall being breached. About a large Colossal Titan with no skin that was as tall as the wall, kicking the gate in and letting titans inside.

Erwin noticed the way that both Levi and Mike were staring at him, almost like they were judging him. “What?”

"Five minutes after you get this shit show, Shinganshia's under attack.” Levi remarked.

Erwin sighed at that. He supposed that the timing could have been better. "Yes, Levi, the irony is not lost on me.”

"More like a bad omen," Mike added.

The report was a mere hours ago, considering that information had to be transferred by horseback. But the Survey Corps were on high alert. They immediately got their supplies, their 3D gear, mounted their horses, and headed towards Shinganshina.

But Erwin had also heard an extremely conflicting report on the way there, something everyone found to be completely unexpected: the titans were fighting each other. An Armored Titan was fighting a Metal Titan. Both had displayed intelligence, and the Metal Titan had killed the Armored Titan, protecting Wall Maria from falling to the titans. Other reports were still hard to accept, like this Metal Titan wielding guns that could kill titans without hitting the nape of the neck, but a titan protecting humans instead of killing? What could that possibly mean for humanity as a whole?

When they arrived to Shinganshia, the Garrison reluctantly opened the gate to allow them into the walled city. Mike noticed the way the Garrison soldiers were still assisting injured civilians out of the rubble and through the now open gate.

"The Metal Titan's at the exit of Shinganshina, killing titans with his strange weapons," a soldier, Hannes, informed.

"Did you just say he?" Hanji started to grin.

"No," Mike warned them.

"He's been trying to prevent more titans from coming into the city, but we don't have all the resources to get everyone else out," Hannes continued.

"What do you mean by 'he'?" Levi demanded, "There's no way a titan is sentient."

"Check for yourself, but we need help getting people out," Hannes requested, "Some are still stuck in their homes."

Erwin turned to Nanaba. "Help with recovery and evacuation."

"Yes, sir!" Nanaba saluted before addressing her fellow comrades on what to do next. Erwin immediately flew over the ruined houses of Shinganshina, followed by Levi, Mike, and Hanji. The quartet examined their surroundings and was internally horrified. The day that they had all feared: the titans’ invading, had come true. But...where were the titan bodies? The decaying corpses? Where was the corpse of the Armored Titan? They were practically non-existent. There was only rubble and human remains, but nothing else.

"Sir," Mike called out as he pointed ahead, his nose flaring up as he did so. The four of them landed on the houses near the broken gate, and were stunned at the sight. A giant, metal, titan, its torso and arms red and its legs and head blue, stood in front of the damaged gate with a glowing blue gun for an arm. A titan started lumbering through the entrance, but they all witnessed the sight of the gun glowing brighter before firing at the titan before him. The titan was shot in the head, but instead of regenerating, its body began to erode and fade away. It collapsed on the ground before turning to bones, and then smoke.

"Holy shit." Even the captain was taken off-guard by the sight. They had just witnessed a titan kill another titan without even touching the nape of the neck! How?! That was supposed to be impossible.

"I must study him!" Hanji tried to leap forward, but Mike quickly grabbed them and wrestled them back. Hanji yelled in protest, but their cry quickly got the attention of the titan, who looked back at them. Erwin had noticed the being wearing a mouth guard of some kind, and the blue of its eyes mirrored that of the weapon for an arm.

"Hello!" Hanji greeted with a wave.

"Are you the reinforcements the others have informed me of?" the titan asked them. It speaks. It actually speaks! It didn't have a mouth but it spoke a clear and concise sentence!

"Yes," Erwin spoke, trying his best to keep his composure, "My name is Erwin Smith: the Commander of the Survey Corps."

"I am pleased to make your acquaintance; however, I cannot move from my post, Commander," The titan explained, "I wish to aid the humans that need to evacuate the city, but if I leave, more titans may come in and cause more damage. Can you provide assistance in removing the civilians from the area?"

"We are currently working on that, but there is concern about your intentions-!"

"I do not consume humans," The titan automatically replied.

"That was quick." Levi narrowed his eyes in suspicion.

"My race requires a different fuel source for consumption," the titan explained as he shot at another titan without even looking, "One that I will need to locate in a different time. For now, I wish to focus my attention on the task at hand."

"I need to take notes." Hanji grunted as they tried to get out of Mike's grip once more.

Erwin did his best to assess the situation with what he had, but he ultimately came to a conclusion. "Assist the others in evacuation."

"Erwin, you can't be serious," Mike said.

"This is an opportunity we can't waste," Erwin whispered to him before turning back to the titan, "If you are truly a sentient being, do you have a name?"

"My name is Optimus Prime," the titan answered.

"A name," Hanji squealed.

"Thank you for your assistance," Erwin said before beckoning his comrades to follow him. They followed him away from the titan, and once Erwin believed he was out of ear shot, he spoke, "Play along for now. We will be stationed here until the wall has been repaired. We need all eyes on him at all times."

Hanji raised their hand. “Can I study him?”

“From afar,” Erwin warned.

“Yes,” Hanji grinned.

“Erwin, we just saw that titan kill other titans,” Levi retorted, “How the hell are we supposed to counter attack if that gun is turned on us.”

“I don’t know,” Erwin answered, “But if we play our cards right, we could have a valuable asset to humanity and the Survey Corps. Mortality rates among troops would be reduced. Knowledge could be shared. Territory could be expanded.”

“Or this titan could let other ones in,” Mike retorted.

“But he’s killing our titans,” Hanji retorted.

“I meant others like him,” Mike clarified, “He smells different from the other titans. He smells like metal, gunpowder, and smoke. Erwin, what if he’s not the only one?”

“…I don’t know how to provide a solution to that,” Erwin confessed, “But I can’t pass up this opportunity out of fear. This is the first time in a long time that humanity has had hope. I’m not going to throw away that chance.”

The others looked at each other with concern before turning back to their Commander.

“Whatever you say,” Levi spoke, “We trust you.”

“Thank you,” Erwin said, glancing back to see the titan at the entrance to the Walls. He could’ve sworn that the titan looked back at them and the two made eye contact. Erwin could feel it in his gut. This was the beginning. This was the beginning of humanity’s counterattack.

(A few notes:

-Again, the shorter pilots out of the other two. Peaceful Timeline and Beloved Timeline needed to set up characters and the weight of time. Episode 1 doesn't need to do that because it's the beginning of the series. -I wanted to show that Reiner was panicked at the sight of Optimus. Not just because he was ill-prepared for a titan like him, but also because Reiner is still not in the correct emotional headspace after the loss of Marcel just hours prior. -Also Bertholdt had to carry Annie and run along the Wall for miles just to find a way to sneak in lol. -Also, also, because of Optimus' lack of information about titan shifters and the situation he's presented with, yes, he would kill Reiner on the spot because he doesn't know. This ultimately ends up eating him alive later down this timeline. -Carla's paralyzed but still alive. I figured Optimus' intervention in Episode 1 would save her life, because fuck fate. Am I right?

Number 28 with Episode 1 Optimus? I'd love to see what's going through Hannes', Eren's, Mikasa's and Carla's heads heads when a giant metal titan seemingly out of nowhere just pops up and saves the latter's life, before going to exterminate the other titans in the area. After all, this metal titan is showing behavior that even makes Aberrant Titans' behavior look normal.

Carla screamed as the titan body toppled over and hit the ground hard. The grip on the decaying, eroding, corpse loosened, allowing her to scramble out and crawl away.

"Hannes!" Eren yelled as he slammed his fist onto his head. Eren gasped when he noticed another abnormal titan running up to the house. Up to his mother! "HANNES TURN AROUND!"

"Kid, we can't-!" Hannes froze when he noticed the strange titan and quickly ran back to rubble.

"Ma'am, are you alright?!" a voice called out to her. Carla was about to respond, but froze when she realized what was speaking. She looked up to see a metal titan adorned in red and blue. It had no mouth to speak of, but those glowing blue eyes were scaring her to the point where she started screaming again and scrambling to get away. She tried to get up and walk, but she was sure the titan holding her really crushed her legs! She couldn't walk!

"Ma'am, I will not hurt you!" The titan spoke again, trying to reassure her.

"Get away from her!" Hannes yelled at the titan, still holding the two children.

Carla gasped and swatted her hand at them. "Hannes! Run! RUN!"

The titan quickly stood up and raised his foot high into the air.

"Oh shit!" Hannes yelled, preparing to be crushed at eaten, but the titan kicked a four meter class titan in the neck that almost killed them, punting it high into the air and over the wall. Outside of the walls!

"Huh?" Mikasa could only emit in fear.

"Fuck!" Eren bit Hannes' hand, forcing the Garrison to let him go and for him to roll on the ground. "MOM!" He scrambled to his feet and ran to his mother, ignoring her pleas to stay away. He tackled her into a hug and started crying in her arms.

"Eren, you need to go! Go now!" Carla begged her son.

"I swear to you I will not harm you!" the titan swore, causing Eren to stare up in shock. Titans...titans can speak? The titan was suddenly alerted to the sound of screams and saw another human in the grasp of a titan. It pulled out a gun, and Carla instinctively shielded her body on top of Eren's as the titan fired that blue light to kill the titan. The titan then noticed Hannes and seemed to look him up an down.

"Are you military?!" The titan demanded.

"Y-yes! I-!"

"Get the civilians out of here, now!" the titan ordered. Eren managed to catch the strange symbol of a face on his arm before he suddenly...shifted?...transformed?...into a strange carriage. He rode as fast as the wind into the ongoing chaos in Shinganshina.

"What?" Eren muttered wordlessly.

"Can you walk?!" Hannes asked Carla.

"I can't feel my legs!" Carla answered.

"Alright!" Hannes quickly set Mikasa down before carrying Carla bridal style, "We need to get you three to the boat! C'mon! Run!"

"What was that?!" Mikasa asked.

"I don't know, just run!" Hannes ordered.

Eren and Mikasa started running towards the gate to Wall Maria with Hannes following close behind.

Optimus continued driving his way throughout the walled town, taking out as many titans as possible. He wasn't sure how to seal the breach in the wall, but he knows that if another one is made through the gate, then there would be more consequences and lives lost.

That's when Optimus spotted it. An Armored Titan in a sprinting position, the trajectory towards that undamaged gate. As the titan began running, Optimus drove as fast as he could towards the gate. When he reached the gate, the Armored Titan had almost bulldozed his way through the gate, but Optimus rammed the titan into its side, causing the two of them to crash into multiple houses.

This ask game

Minds think alike I guess. Let’s do the TFP Optimus in episode 1 timeline where Eren and Mikasa encounter Optimus and Levi.

Mikasa noticed how much more attentive and caring Eren was since everything happened. Ever since Wall Maria almost fell, ever since Carla nearly died and that Titan saved their mother’s life. But the mindless Titan left Carla paralyzed, and Hannes could only do so much when it came to supporting the woman and the two children. They would ask Grisha for help, but he hasn’t been seen since the attack on Shinganshina. Eren had his key to the basement, but he didn’t know where he got it from.

And the basement. The truth about the Walls and the outside world, the Jaeger family and Hannes were the only ones who knew that truth. But what could they do with that information? Who could they tell? Especially without proper proof. The only thing they could do was keep their mouths shut until a miracle showed up.

They continued shopping for food in Trost. Hannes was kind enough to use his connections to get them a home in Wall Rose. Carla feared another attack would happen again and would rather be deeper into the Walls to survive. Eren didn’t make a fuss about it. All he did was obey. He helped out with getting food, helped out with cooking. He was trying to follow his mother’s advice and be the man of the house. Now that Grisha was gone…

Mikasa hated how sad Eren looked when he collected the bread from the vendor. She hated this. She was so close to losing her family again. She hated it so much.

“Let’s go,” Eren told Mikasa and he tied the bag holding their food. Mikasa followed Eren as they made their way out of the market, but stopped when they suddenly heard chatter. Well, louder than usual chatter. Eren turned his attention over to the source, and gasped at the sight of a Survey Corp member walking past with someone significantly taller than him. The taller man didn’t wear the Survey Corps uniform. He wore a really fancy red jacket with blue pants and dark boots. His hair and beard were black, his skin was fair, and his eyes were so blue. Eren’s gaze fell to the sleeve of the jacket and felt a swell of hope in his chest when he saw that symbol. That same symbol from the Titan that saved his mother back in Shinganshina. It was him! It was Optimus Prime! Like the paper said! It had to be!

"Eren!" Mikasa cried out as Eren bolted towards the two. Mikasa quickly rushed him and grabbed him by the waist, manhandling him across the market to drag him away and not risk them getting into trouble.

"Let go!" Eren cried out to her, "We have to get help!"

"Eren, we can't!" Mikasa pleaded. Why now? Why was the Eren before the fall coming out now?

"We have to be safe!" Eren retorted, "I have to! I have to protect you and mom!"

Mikasa was stunned at Eren's proclamation. Eren took notice at how distracted Mikasa was and quickly threw the grocery bag to the side.

"Eren!" Mikasa cried as she was forced to let him go and grab the food before someone else stole it. This allowed Eren to worm through the crowd to the Survey Corps members. He had helped them before. Maybe they could help them again!

"You don't have to greet everyone that says hi," Levi remarked at the titan's holoform, "Or stop to help everyone. We have errands to run."

"I do not see why not," Optimus retorted as he saw the family waving goodbye, "It has been a long time since I have been in an environment full of life where I did not have to hide."

Levi didn't reply to that. This had to be an act. He had no reason to be nice and kind to any of the humans. There had to be some ulterior motive to his actions. Damn it, Erwin, this was a stupid plan. "Let's just get what we need."

As they approached one of the stalls, Optimus suddenly felt a tug on the holoform pant leg. He looked around to see who it was, but his gaze fell down to the sight of a frightened young boy.

"Hello," Optimus greeted in confusion.

"C-!" the child's words seemed to die in his throat when he realized what he was talking to, "I...-!"

"Eren!" a girl called out to him with a bag of groceries in her hand. They were practically children, but Optimus could tell they looked so terrified. The girl had grabbed the boy, Eren's hand, and tried to pull him away. But the boy remained so strong and steadfast in his decision to stay put as much as he could. The girl was clearly stronger than him, and there was visible strain on his face when she tried to pull him away.

But Optimus could tell that the boy looked desperate.

"We don't have time for autographs. We're running errands," Levi stated.

"W-we need help," Eren begs, "Please."

"Eren!" Mikasa warned.

"Please!" Optimus saw tears beginning to form in Eren's eyes. The boy was really desperate and the girl looked terrified. What was going on? Why were they so afraid? He had to know.

"Captain, we must help them," Optimus informed Levi.

"Excuse you?" Levi demanded in annoyance, "What about our shit? And these kids could-!" Levi stopped himself when he recognized how terrified they actually looked.

"If the children are not in serious danger, then we can contact the Military Police," Optimus proposed before kneeling down in front of the children, "What are your names?"

"E-eren," the boy stumbled with his name, "This is my sister, Mi-! Hmph!" The girl had covered Eren's mouth in response.

"You do not have to tell me your name," Optimus reassured her. Mikasa eyed Eren and Optimus with suspicion before slowly letting go of Eren's mouth.

"Eren, can you safely tell me what you are so frightened of?" Optimus asked him.

Eren shook his head. "Not here."

"Then where would you feel safe?" Optimus asked him.

"Home," Eren replied.

Optimus extended his hand to the boy. "Do you feel comfortable to take us to your home?"

Eren stared at the hand in front of him before slowly extending his hand and placing it in the holoform's own. Optimus gently tightened his grip before standing up. Optimus felt the boy pull and Optimus followed him out of the marketplace. Mikasa looked afraid as Eren took the holoform, but Levi walked up to Mikasa and extended a hand to the girl. She wordlessly took it, and the two ended up following Optimus close behind.

Number 4 please? With Optimus and Levi, please. I was inspired by reading a post about number 43 that did TFP Optimus in Episode 1. I simply can't stand suspenseful cliffhangers like that.

I guess we’re continuing this ask. TFP Optimus in Episode 1 continued.

Carla hated the struggle. She tried to reach for the cups in the cabinet drawer above, but she couldn't force herself up due to her situation. Ever since that titan attack, ever since the house, she's been unable to walk. She would have been dead if that metal titan didn't save her. And she is grateful to be alive, but it has been difficult to do things while being disabled. She can't do work in order to support the family. Hannes has been kind to her and her children, using his connections to get them a home in Wall Rose, but there was only so much he could do. When Hannes stops helping, what happens to them after? Grisha was the breadwinner, not her. And what was she supposed to do with the information he left behind?! Humanity not being extinct! What was she supposed to-!

Her train of thought was cut short when she heard a knock at the door. She took a deep breath to calm herself and wheeled herself over to the door in her chair. When she opened the door, she expected to greet her children, but she froze at the sight of two men with them. One of them was wearing strange clothing, and the other was a member of the Survey Corps.

"Hello, ma'am," The other greeted, "My name is Optimus Prime. Your son said that he wanted to inform us of something."

Carla felt her anger and fear flare up before she grabbed Eren by the hand and wheeled herself backwards into the kitchen, with Mikasa quickly following behind.

"I guess we're not welcomed in," Levi shrugged.

"What were you two thinking?" Carla hissed in a low voice in the kitchen, "Bringing the military into our house!"

"Mom, they could help us," Eren pleaded, "That's the titan who stopped the invasion! Who saved your life!"

"I don't care!" Carla warned, "If we get involved, then we won't be safe! Someone could try to kill us for this or send us to a mental institution! We don't know where your father is and-!"

"That's why I want to protect both of you," Eren cut her off, "If we don't tell anyone, then what happens if they break in again? We won't be prepared and the walls will fall. We'll lose everything."

Carla turned her attention to Mikasa, but her daughter looked so ready to agree with Eren and just get the help they so desperately needed.

"Carla...Mom...," Mikasa began, "We need help...without Dr. Jaeger...we could starve..."

Carla just felt so miserable in that moment. They were going to run out of options soon. But could they be relied upon? The two of them outside? One man and the other that's possibly a titan? Eren looked so certain, so hopeful even, he just wanted them to be safe. And calm and quiet Mikasa looked so scared. She didn't want them hurt. She wanted her children safe...she had to make a choice.

"We should just go," Levi advised as he peered inside the house, "Doesn't seem like there's anything wrong. I didn't see a father and the woman looked like she wasn't beaten."

"Perhaps she and her family are runaways from an abusive situation," Optimus suggested, "I will not feel comfortable until I receive an actual confirmation on their well-being. If I am still uncertain, then we can contact the Military Police."

"Speaking from experience, Military Police aren't that reliable," Levi warned.

They watched as the girl slowly walked towards the door. She beckoned the two of them inside, and they followed her instructions. They noticed the girl closing the door behind them as the mother wheeled up in front of them.

"Are you...the one who saved my life?" The woman addressed Optimus.

"Were you a resident of Shinganshina?" Optimus asked her, earning a nod, "Then I probably have."

"I was trapped in the rubble of a house, and then a titan's grasp, but you saved my life," she continued, "And for that I'm grateful. But...I need to know if we show you this, you'll keep my children safe."

"You have my word, ma'am," Optimus said without hesitation, stunning Levi. He barely knew this family, but he was promising protection to them? The boy, Eren, walked into the room, holding a slip of paper in his hand. He walked over to Optimus and slowly extended his hand out to him. Optimus gently takes the paper from him, and he and Levi examine it. Levi was confused to see it, but Optimus was surprised.

"A photograph?" Optimus spoke up. A photograph of a young man and woman. The man was standing and the woman was sitting in a chair, holding a child in her arms.

"You know what this is?" Eren asked.

"It is quite common from my world," Optimus explained, "But this world should not have something as advanced as this."

Optimus flipped the picture over to see if there was anything else, and he and Levi saw the writing. They read the message on the back, and the family could see their expressions turn to shock before they glanced at each other. Optimus' gaze hardened as he turned to the family.

"Does anyone else know this information?" Optimus asked them, but he notices the hesitance to answer, "If someone else knows this information, they could be targeted if we do not get to them in time. Who else knows about this?"

"Hannes. He's in the Garrison," Eren answered immediately, "That's all. We swear."

"Then pack your shit," Levi ordered, "We're taking you to headquarters."

(Optimus then proceeds to carry Carla bridal style to his alt mode while Levi helped Mikasa and Eren pack.)

Number 16? What if Optimus appears in episode 1?

When the Survey Corps heard about Optimus' arrival in Shinganshina and see the aftermath of Optimus' intervention.

The Survey Corps was having a bad day. Well, they've always had bad days. It was never easy for them.

They had always suffered heavy losses when they came back from their expeditions from outside the walls. But when they returned, and they had given the arm of Moses to the weeping mother, something inside of their Commander Keith clearly snap. He broke. He broke down in front of everyone and walked away in shame. The next thing they all new, Erwin had become the 13th Commander of the Survey Corps.

Erwin had to go through protocol. Appoint scouts to leader positions, inform Zackley about the change, but then...they heard about the wall being breached. About a large Colossal Titan with no skin that was as tall as the wall, kicking the gate in and letting titans inside.

"Five minutes after you get this shit show, Shinganshia's under attack," Levi had remarked.

"Yes, Levi, the irony is not lost on me," Erwin sighed.

"More like a bad omen," Mike added.

The report was a mere hours ago, considering that information had to be transferred by horseback. But the Survey Corps were on high alert. They immediately got their supplies, their 3D gear, mounted their horses, and headed towards Shinganshina.

But Erwin had also heard an extremely conflicting report, everyone heard the report: the titans were fighting each other. An Armored Titan was fighting a Metal Titan. The titans were fighting each other. Both had displayed intelligence, and the Metal Titan had killed the Armored Titan, protecting Wall Maria from falling to the titans. Other reports were still hard to accept, but a titan protecting humans instead of killing? What could that possibly mean for humanity as a whole?

When they arrived to Shinganshia, the Garrison reluctantly opened the gate to allow them into the walled city.

"The Metal Titan's at the entrance, killing titans with his strange weapons," a soldier, Hannes, informed.

"Did you just say he?" Hanji started to grin.

"No," Mike warned them.

"He's been trying to prevent more titans from coming into the city, but we don't have the resources to get everyone else out," Hannes continued.

"What do you mean by 'he'?" Levi demanded, "There's no way a titan is sentient."

"Check for yourself, but we need help getting people out," Hannes requested, "Some are still stuck in their homes."

Erwin turned to Nanaba. "Help with recovery and evacuation."

"Yes, sir!" Nanaba saluted before addressing her fellow comrades on what to do next. Erwin immediately flew over the ruined houses of Shinganshina, followed by Levi, Mike, and Hanji. The quartet examined their surroundings and were internally horrified. The day that they had all feared: the titan's invading, had come true. But...where were the titan bodies? The decaying corpses? Where was the corpse of the Armored Titan? They were practically non-existent. There was rubble and human remains. But nothing else.

"Sir," Mike called out as he pointed ahead. The four of them landed on the houses near the broken gate, and were stunned at the sight. A giant, metal, titan adorned in red and blue stood in front of the damaged gate with a glowing blue gun for an arm. A titan started lumbering through the entrance, but they all witnessed the sight of the gun glowing brighter before firing at the titan before him. The titan was shot in the head, but instead of regenerating, it's body began to erode and fade away. It collapsed on the ground before turning to bones, and then smoke.

"Holy shit," Even the captain was taken off-guard by the sight. They had just witnessed a titan kill another titan without even touching the nape of the neck! How!

"I must study him!" Hanji tried to leap forward, but Mike quickly grabbed them and wrestling them back. Hanji yelled in protest, but their cry quickly got the attention of the titan, who looked back at them. Erwin had noticed the being wearing a mouthguard of some kind, and the blue of its eyes mirrored that of the weapon for an arm.

"Hello!" Hanji greeted with a wave.

"Are you the reinforcements the others have informed me of?" the titan asked them. It speaks. It actually speaks! It didn't have a mouth but it spoke!

"Yes," Erwin spoke, trying his best to keep his composure, "My name is Erwin Smith, the newly appointed Commander of the Survey Corps."

"I cannot move from my post, Commander," The titan explained, "I wish to aid the humans that need to evacuate the city, but if I leave, more titans may come in. Can you provide assistance in removing the civilians from the area?"

"We are currently working on that, but there is concern about your intentions-!"

"I do not consume humans," The titan automatically replied.

"That was quick." Levi narrowed his eyes in suspicion.

"My race requires a different fuel source for consumption," the titan explained as he shot at another titan, "One that I will need to locate in a different time. For now, I wish to focus my attention on the task at hand."

"I need to take notes," Hanji grunted as they tried to get out of Mike's grip once more.

Erwin did his best to assess the situation with what he had, but he ultimately came to a conclusion. "Assist the others in evacuation."

"Erwin, you can't be serious," Mike said.

"This is an opportunity we can't waste," Erwin whispered to him before turning back to the titan, "If you are truly a sentient being, do you have a name?"

"My name is Optimus Prime," the titan answered.

"A name," Hanji squealed.

"Thank you for your assistance," Erwin said before turning to his comrades, "Play along for now."

(So someone asked for 30, but everything else is on the table.)

Armin's perspective after Eren's power is discovered the TFP Optimus in Episode 1 timeline. For more context Part 15: Armin’s role

Armin was afraid.

It had been ages since he had seen Eren and Mikasa. The last time they saw each other was when Wall Maria was finally safe to return to. Then, they just disappeared right off the map. Armin hadn’t heard from them since. It was so strange. He would have heard and update on how the family was doing through Eren or Mikasa, but it never happened. The days turned to weeks, weeks to years, and then…Armin’s grandfather died of an illness during the winter.

Armin lost hope. He was abandoned again and he had no choice now. He had to go to the military in order to get housing and food. He was pretty sure that he had given up on his dream to discover the outside world, and was now just trying to survive. But…a miracle happened. He had seen Eren and Mikasa on the first day of training. He had spotted them in the crowd, being skipped over by Keith Shadis, but they were there. Armin immediately confronted them and the two were so happy to see him.

There was anger, there were tears, and there was much, much, explaining to do, but Armin finally felt complete. He was finally back with his family. He wasn’t alone.

Until he was.

It was an accident during training. Eren had gotten injured and when they were about to take him to the infirmary, steam rose up from his bloodied hand and it healed, like a Titan. Everyone stared in fear, backing away from Eren while Mikasa ran to his side. Armin was about to approach, but was immediately blocked by Sasha.

Now all Armin could even do was wait. Wait and wait the whole day, hoping for some kind of answer. What he didn’t expect was the Savior of the Walls to come directly to their training grounds along with the Commander of the Survey Corps. There was so much confusion, chatter, and intrigued. Armin hated this! Eren was his friend, and he should know what was going on with his friend, but he was being treated like he was an outsider!

Did that mean…Eren and Mikasa were going to leave him again? Was he going to be alone? He didn’t want to be! He wanted to know what was going on! He wanted to know the truth!

“Eren are you certain about this?” Armin heard a new voice speak from outside the office. It was no doubt the metal titan in its human form.

“We have to. It’s not fair. He has no one else,” Eren explained, but who were they talking about.

“He may very well be a target in this-!”

“We don’t care. We’re not leaving him here alone,” Mikasa declared.

Armin was wondering who they were talking about, but didn’t get the chance to listen in further as Erwin stepped out of the office with Eren, Mikasa, and the human form of the metal titan. Armin expected to be passed. To be told a quick goodbye, but-!

"You will be coming with us," Erwin told him, causing Armin to snap his head at him.

"W-what?" Armin stuttered, "Why?"

"If you are friends with Eren and Mikasa, and given Eren's situation, it better if you're under protection so won't be used by Marley," Erwin explained.

Armin turned to Eren and Mikasa, and Eren took his friend's hand.

"We're in this together," Eren declared, "We're not going to be leaving you."

Armin looked at Eren's hand holding his own and began to cry. Mikasa rubbed his back as Armin wiped away his own tears.

"Thank you," Armin said.

"I'd advised that we return to base immediately before rumors begin to spread," Optimus informed Erwin.

"Let's go," Erwin beckoned the teenagers to follow him. Armin couldn't help but grow tense as they exited the building, and were met with the confused stares of the other recruits. They approached the red and blue caravan, and Optimus' human form disappeared from Armin's sights, causing Armin to jump. But Eren, Mikasa, and Erwin didn't even bat an eye. Erwin climbed into the driver's seat, while Mikasa climbed into the back seat. She assisted Eren inside, and Eren extended his hand to Armin. Armin slowly took it, and he was pulled into the caravan. Armin sat in the front passenger seat and yelp when a leather belt wrapped around his body.

"For your protection," Armin flinched when the weird box spoke in the same voice as the human form that disappeared. Armin felt the caravan roar to life before navigating away from the training grounds. Armin looked through the side view mirror to see some of the friends he started getting acquainted with staring on in concern, unable to do anything about this.

(Armin is part of the main cast, but in the Episode 1 timeline, he definitely takes a backseat and doesn't play a role until way later. So I thought this would fit. Anyway, 79 and 19 have been asked. The rest are free game.)

Optimus comforting Eren and Mikasa in Part 7 of the Episode 1 timeline.

Carla, Eren, and Mikasa quietly sat in the room they were provided when they arrived at the Survey Corps. They definitely got stares and looks of confusion, one of them even made a joke about Optimus and Levi's shopping trip going off course. But Eren had taken a risk to call Optimus and Levi to their home to tell the two about what the broken family had found in the basement of their old home.

Now they waited. They waited for a full day to hear back from the people who brought them to this place. It was an agonizing wait. They had no idea what was going to happen to them or if they would even be safe from this point forward.

Carla petted Mikasa's head in comfort as the child had rested on her lap. Meanwhile, Eren just kept watch, staring at the door and waiting for it to open and make the gut decision to fight or flee. All three grew tense when the door opened, but they breathed a tense sigh of relief when Optimus and Levi had entered the room.

"Are you all okay?" Optimus had addressed the three.

"We're...we're managing," Carla answered, "What's going to happen now?"

"Considering the contents of the notebooks, we are still devising a plan on what to do next," Optimus explained, "And considering your connection to Grisha Jaeger, it would be wise for the three of you to remain with the Survey Corps to prevent capture and blackmail."

"For how long?" Mikasa asked.

"We don't know yet," Levi answered, "But better safe than sorry."

Optimus noticed the way that Eren had clutched the edges of his shirt while Mikasa picked at her red scarf. The mother merely folded her hands in her lap and stared at the handles of her wheelchair. Optimus decided to take a few steps towards Eren before kneeling down to look the child in the eye.

"You and your sister were so brave to come and ask us for help," Optimus praised the two, surprising Eren and Mikasa, "I know the two of you must be scared, but you mustered up the courage to ask, and for that, we are truly grateful to you."

Eren and Mikasa didn't know what to say to that. They were still uncertain if they did the right thing, but...there was some comfort in the titan's praises. However, there was one question that irked Eren.

“Our…our dad,” Eren began, “Is there a way to find him?”

Optimus and Levi manage to catch the bitterness in Carla’s face before turning back to them. “Once our current situation is resolved, we will try our best to locate your father. I cannot promise we will yield results, but we will do our best.”

Eren quietly nodded his head before...acting rather impulsively. He shouldn't have, given the situation and who Optimus was, but...Eren couldn't help but crave it. He hugged Optimus' holoform tight, burying his face in the black shirt. Optimus was startled at the action, as was everyone else, but Eren had spoken.

"Thank you...for saving my mom," Eren whispered.

Optimus felt sympathy for the child. There was a lot happening when he first arrived, and he didn't really remember his face or his mother's when he saved them both, but he must have been so truly grateful to him. Optimus was then flabbergasted when Mikasa came forward and hugged the Prime as well.

"Thank you...," She echoed her brother.

So I am currently working on Truths and Lies because the first half of the month I’ve been out of commission and/or doing other side projects. But I’ve been thinking about this for a while and…

I will write one “pilot” for one of the AOP AU timelines. At least one of the more popular ones. I’ve been wanting to do it when I have more time and when I have it, I’ll work on it. For the Optimus in Episode 1 Timeline, what will Marley do next now that they have a hostage?

Previous Episode of the Episode 1 Timeline

Hostage? *Looks over notes*, they don't have hostage. No, Annie and Bertholdt are trying to make friends with Krista because they've confirmed she's of royal blood. But they haven't kidnapped her yet.

I do have a few ideas for the Episode 1 Timeline though.

-So I do believe that the war that Marley is engaged in with the Middle Eastern Nations because they have the Armored Titan now, will cause a time skip. Marley doesn't know where Annie and Bertholdt are. They don't know that Marcel is dead. The only titan warriors available to them are Pieck and Zeke, and Lara is with Willy and the ambassadors and military heads of Marley to negotiate with Paradis.

-It takes about three years, but Marley barely wins that war, and the Middle Eastern Nations still have the Armored Titan on their side. They're not going to give that up. It's the first clear sign of Marley's power significantly waning, and it's making other nations very eager to just get the jump on Marley and destroy the country.

-Marley has asked for Optimus Prime's help in the war, but Optimus has profusely refused to help for two spoken reasons, and one secret reason (based in guilt and trauma). One, he refuses to kill humans. Two, he is not going to aid Marley without knowing whether or not they could be trusted. He has no idea if they would betray Optimus and kill him or whatever. His third reason, which he has kept quiet about, he doesn't want to face the Armored Titan again. Figuring out that the previous holder was a human and a child at that, is something he will never truly recover from.

-They've tried asking Megatron (or Galvatron in this timeline) once. I'll leave it up to your imagination on how that went.

-Because Eren, Mikasa, and Armin are now with the Survey Corps, they have become absolute monsters when it comes to using the 3D gear because they are being trained by the best of the best. Armin's ability in this timeline would have actually qualified him for the top ten spot in the trainee program.

-And because the Shinganshina trio is not in the Cadet Core and Reiner is dead, the top ten ranking has changed to (from 1 to 10): Bertholdt, Annie, Jean, Connie, Marco, Sasha, Krista, Ymir, Thomas, and Mina. Because it's implied that Ymir intentionally did bad so that Krista would have a better shot at getting into the MPs, but this time around she has more wiggle room to qualify.

-Annie is able to successfully make friends with Krista, but it ultimately makes her feel extremely guilty because she knows her background and her circumstances. Ymir definitely knows that something is wrong, but they don't have the evidence.

-Due to the conditions this time around, Bertholdt and Annie go to the Survey Corps because they need to gain easier access to Marley.

-Marley is extremely frustrated that they haven't been able to find Annie and Bertholdt's location or gain any important information about who's the Founding Titan. They decide that after the war, they were going to send Pieck to spy in Paradis to gather some intel. Because the Survey Corps have seen Zeke a few times during initial meetings. But they haven't seen Pieck so it's easier to slip in.

-I did have an extremely messed up thought of Ramzi being the Armored Titan (the kid thief and got killed during the Rumbling). I was thinking that the current holder of the Armored Titan has shown multiple signs of insubordination and treason, so the M.E.A feed him over to someone else, a child that's easier to manipulate and mold, aka Ramzi. But I don't know how that would add up age wise. It's implied that Ramzi is a subject of Ymir because he saw Founder Ymir before he died. But the kid would be so young at that time. So IDK if it would work.

(Bare with me on the Episode 1 timeline. Because again, the whole plot has been thrown out the window so I really have to think about how I would want this timeline to go.)

In your AOP alternate timeline, it says that Optimus keeps his mask on to ensure that the humans don't fear him as much. Does that mean he's going to have his mask on at all time like in G1? If so, how would that pan out for him since he needs to eat and Megatron might say something about it when he shows up?

I mean, Optimus refuels in private a lot just so he doesn't scare the humans. Although, it lasts a little bit too long to the point where it causes people to bet whether or not Optimus has a mouth. When Megatron does show up via any scenario listed in part 3, the ex-con asks why the hell he's keeping his battlemask on all the time. Optimus explains why and Megatron just calls him a coward, earning a visible eye roll from the Prime.

See, because Optimus and Megatron's interactions wouldn't be so negatively charged, due to the fact that Megatron didn't jump into the story at the worst possible time, the two are able to have more civil talks. They still sass each other and reference shit that no one else knows what they're talking about.

Optimus does deactivate the mask once in front of the Survey Corps, but some have made comments that he looks weird without it, because he's been wearing it around them for so long.

In your "what if Optimus arrived earlier in there AOT story line" answer, how would Megatron fit into this? If he ends up arriving a month after Prime appeared like in the original, when things aren't as hectic in Paradise Island and they have important information earlier than usual, how would things have change? Especially with Optimus since he might not be as stressed and troubled as in AOP to want to shoot him on sight.

So, not much changes in the Purpose OVA other than the ending, since Megatron pops in during the fight. Megatron still sulks around like a little shit as the weight of his actions crush him, and he still does get warped to the island via unstable bridge. But there are a few scenarios that could happen.

Megatron is just a cryptic that hangs outside the walls, trying to kill the titans because he doesn't know their exact weakness. People start hearing his jet mode in the sky and start to freak out and make some urban legend about a ghost that flies in the sky. Optimus hears it too and is kind of questions what the hell it is. Once they learn the truth about the walls and overthrow the government with Kenny's help (Lol), they kill all the titans on the outside and find Megatron just messing with one trying to figure out how to kill it. Optimus is too stunned to speak, and the Survey Corps are kind of confused because...does he know him? Hanji decides to tell Megatron to slice the nape of the neck (she's still freaking out because holy shit another metal titan). Megatron jolts and is ready to swing his sword for combat, but see Optimus and immediately drops it out of shock. Megatron quickly stomps on the neck of the titan in his possession and no one knows what to make of the two stunned titans.

Marley finds out about Megatron first and immediately backfires. So Willy and Paradis try to make this so called 'Alliance' but of course, prejudice and biases and 'Devils of the island' and all that stuff. So Marley has a station outside the walls that the island doesn't know about and are planning an invasion while Willy does his best to save face. (Willy immediately feels guilty about it because Optimus wants peace and Willy begins to see Optimus as Helos). But Marley built their base of operations near where Megatron and they just start blasting at him. Megatron is more than annoyed and dispatches of them with ease. He doesn't kill them simply because humans are messy. But Zeke is there, and Megatron's getting a little entertained because a human turning into a titan is definitely going to get a chuckle out of him or piss him off. Zeke demands if he knows Optimus, because Marley thinks that Paradis lied to them. But Megatron is literally WTF and demands to know what the monkey is talking about. Zeke relents because Megatron has his hands around his throat, and Megatron immediately flies to the walls. And Marley realizes just how badly they fucked up by giving the islanders another titan to be on their side. Megatron ends up finding him at the Survey Corps hideout and demands that he show himself. Optimus would be too stunned to speak, if he wasn't tired from all the negotiations he's trying to do with the government and Marley. So he's just tired and tells Megatron to wait until the morning, and Megatron relents, and everyone's like WTF.

Megatron becomes aware of Optimus' existence before the Survey Corps or any other human, but chooses not to reveal himself out of guilt and just now knowing his own fucking emotions. He does get found out eventually.

Because Optimus in all three scenarios would not want to just tell the Survey Corps, "this is the guy that I've been fighting for 4 million years that I have complications about" right away, everyone starts making bets about who Megatron is, and Levi is 50% sure that Megatron is Optimus' ex, and a good portion of the Scouts agree.

Remember, Megatron hasn't infiltrated Marley in this timeline. He knows that the Colossal and Female Titan are on the island; however, he doesn't know what they look like in human form or even where to look. The only chance he would have is if they revealed themselves and he has to catch them.
