A/n: YES!! Oh thank you my friend, also this reminds of an Inuyasha game I used to play for the PS2 where this exact thing happens.

Inuyasha:

🗡: Is used to being in the modern world….kinda. He still messes up a lot.

🗡: Is not used to wearing modern clothes, why does he have to wear modern clothes?

🗡: Met you through Kagome with you being one of her friends.

🗡: Was smitten with you from the start { though he’s not gonna admit that. }

🗡: Starts making excuses to slip into the modern world to see you.

🗡: You enjoy taking him to all kinds of parks, it’s cute seeing his reactions to the rollercoasters.

🗡: Is very clingy while you’re in the modern world,would often latch himself onto your arm, holding your waist. He likes it when he carries you on his back.

after the turf war between the Sangonomiya Clan and the Tenshukaku Gang, between the leader of the Sangonomiya’s—Kokomi, and the second-in-command of the Tenshukaku—Kujou Sara, leading these negotiations to stop all the gang violence, you were requested to accompany as an honorary mediator, staying mostly on the side of the Sango’s.

it was hard to say no for multiple reasons—the first being that Kokomi was so nice to you, hiding and taking care of you when you were on the run from the Tenshu’s for challenging Ei’s position for the boss—but the second reason being that you couldn’t help but find the first-hand man of Koko’s clan to be so… charming. i mean—just look at him—his hair is a little disheveled half the time, but that’s where the charm is! and he tucks his oversized shirt halfway in his black cargo pants… it’s all an organized sort of messy—save for the black and red hoodie he likes to wear as well. for special jobs outside of the turf between the Narukami and Watatsumi sectors of the Inazuma District, he goes out with a suit and tie, along with gelled hair—you tend to see him walking out sometimes as he casually waves goodbye to you.

and god, you’re going crazy over the fact that’s he is standing right. next. to. you. he’s in his regular street clothing, as per the tradition of negotiation—but the both of you are well aware that if any of the lackeys slip up, the settlements are off—and an ultimate gang war with the leader and second-in-command will go down in the history of gang legends. Kazuha, who is standing on the side of the Sango’s, watching you and Gorou awkwardly stand next to one another—you, twiddling in anticipation—and Gorou, who is fixated on the negotiations, eyes flipping between every member to make sure that nobody steps out of line, his ears ever so slightly twitching to hear what’s going on in the back. and your hand—which is so close to his—is taken into his grasp as he holds his breath in anticipation. Kazu is confused until he sees you madly blushing, and he whispers under his breath, “ah, i see how it is now…”

“be careful, there may be danger awaiting us—“ he whispers—his eyes looking towards the back of his clan’s side, and turning back towards you. “woah, hey—are you okay? you’re looking flushed… i can get you to—”

“no—it’s okay… don’t worry—“ you reassure him, blushing furiously in embarrassment and nervousness. butterflies flutter about your stomach and invisibly dance on your shoulders as you whisper back. you can feel the charm on your necklace chain flicker and spark bright shades of reds—and both Kujou and Koko turn to you.

“it’s nothing—please continue—“ you say as you hear his obviously loud chuckling from Kazuha sitting up on a windowsill. at this point, everyone is looking towards you—some of the older members chuckling, while others seem to be a little too on edge and confused.

Gorou walks over to whisper something in his boss’ ear, and she gives a nod—looking to you and smiling with a wink. you blush even more; stammering and slowly falling weak.

“pardon me, but my first-hand-man is going to take our honorary guest back for some medicinal remedies—we can still continue the negotiations, or save them for another time,” she says, standing and crossing her arms, adjusting her coat.

“let us continue, let that fugitive of yours stand in for your first-hand,” she replies, also standing and nodding in the direction of Kazuha.

Kokomi gestures for Kazuha to come down, and you watch as he swiftly slides down walls to come stand beside this beautifully pink-haired girlboss. Gorou sweeps you up, seeing you become a little shaky in your knees, afraid that you might collapse for some reason or another. you blush even more so, as Kazuha smirks in your direction—giving him an angry and flustered glare his way.

you can only think about how cutely oblivious this boy is, his ears drooping in concern, only wanting the best for you. he’s not too sure why you’re feeling this way—but based on the assessment of your condition, he firmly believes that he should help you. god damn—you’ll never hear the end of this from Kazuha and Kokomi…

“we’ll get you some water once we’re at my house, alright? just hang tight,” he firmly states as he pulls you closer while carrying you in his arms.

How it Should Have Been | Sesshomaru x Reader

She was acting strange. 

Something was off with his human mate.

They were tired a lot more often than usual. 

Then when they had dinner with Rin in Kaede’s hut she ran from the room and was ill. It did not add up for the demon lord. Not until Kaede asked. 

“Dog demon.” the crone’s voice came out. “How far along is she?” 

His golden eyes widened and he instantly regretted not noticing from the beginning. He stood up from the social meal, young Rin chattering excitedly over the prospect of a baby had been muffled as he went to find her. It wasn’t difficult combined with knowing her scent better than his own and the scent of sick. He found her knelt over, and he joined her on the ground despite the smell. Pulling back any clothing or hair that may get in the way. 

“How long have you known you were with child, (Y/n)?” 

She looked up at him, a bit of shyness in her face but then she knew that look. To the average person it would be the usual cold stare. The indifferent demeanor he always held. But their connection was different. 

She knew him. 

“I only realised a couple weeks ago... if I had to guess... maybe since the last full moon?” His golden eyes pierced her soul. 

They always did in the most liberating and exciting way. 

His slender fingers reached forward and he gently wiped her face. For one moment, Sesshomaru held an expression of care in his stony features. 

In that moment he was truly beautiful. 

-- Things Get Complicated -- 

Her body was beautiful in Sesshomaru’s mind.

Everytime they were alone his hands were on the growing bump, on her body in every way possible. It was a source of pride for the dog demon. However, one evening while she was taking care of the laundry she collapsed. He only found her because she took an unusual amount of time hanging her kimonos. 

Her body sprawled out in the dirt, face paled from the normal lively color. Instantly, she was in his arms and off to Kaede’s hut. 

"Old crone.” Sesshomaru’s voice was dark and demanding. “She collapsed.” If one didn’t know him he may seem unconcerned but there was a light waver to his voice. He was terrified. 

But if given the choice... he’d save her first.

Kagome was also in the hut, thankfully. 

“Lay her down!” Kagome insisted, not caring one bit about yelling at the demon lord. 

He didn’t either. She was more important than a tone of voice at this moment. 

Sesshomaru laid her down, letting her head rest against his lap. 

“Her heart beat is low” Kagome noted. The young priestess placed a cool rag on her forehead and she slowly came through.

“Kagome?” she was confused. Where was she? How did--? 

Oh! She remembered being light headed and then blank. 

Sesshomaru made a sigh of relief. 

“Your blood pressure is the issue,” Kagome explained. “She needs to rest. Stay off her feet. Probably until the baby is here, at least. Just to be safe. Only walking around a bit to help blood flow.” 

"Aye, she needs rest,"

His eyes turned instantly serious. "I'll be fine--"

"(Y/n)..." His tone was dark. Dangerous. A tone he'd never use on her. Ever.

This was serious.

He was scared of losing her.

In a moment he lifted her into his back to bring her home.

This fear caused Sesshomaru to become more protective.

He cooked. He cleaned. He did things he would never had done before.

Laundry. Hair brushing. Whatever was needed he did. He didn't even trust someone to do it for him. How could they do it correctly?

-- Birth --

It all happened so quickly.

Pain.

All she felt was pain.

Her water definitely broke.

It was time but something felt off.

It was her first child. How would she know? Instinct? Maybe. He was instantly at her side as she screamed in pain.

She survived worse than this, hadn't she?

The tears on her face made Sesshomaru angry. So very angry. Or was he scared? It was hard to tell the difference in that moment.

Towels. Blood.

Screaming.

All for the sake of a tiny silver haired baby to be placed in her waiting arms.

There was something wrong even still. She was paling again.

So much blood.

She could die.

Kagome rushed him out force that no one knew she had as she, Kaede and Sango worked to care for her and baby.

Luck.

That's all it was.

Luck that the bleeding stopped. That they were able to keep baby warm.

Then he was brought back in, seeing his baby on the breast of his woman was like seeing heaven.

The dog lord knelt down to her, touching her face then the baby's head. "It's a boy" she said in a horses voice.

"My son." He responded gently.

"Naoki!"

She was pregnant again, despite Sesshomaru's hesitancy but she wanted one more.

Just one more.

He'd give her the world if she asked him.

The small silver haired boy was bothering his father whom didn't seem to interested in the boy who decided the single most scariest demon would be a great thing to climb on.

Sesshomaru looked up at his swollen wife. This pregnancy had no scares this time.

"Your papa isn't a tree,"

"Papa!" He still wasn't fully speaking but small babbling was expected. It was especially amusing since Sesshomaru would speak to him as if he knew exactly what was being said.

As if he respected the hanyou as an equal.

Perhaps he did.

The baby went to move towards his mother however he was on his father's shoulder and the movement started him towards the dirt. With grace, Sesshomaru grabbed the boy as if it were nothing before passing the son on to his mate.

"Ada!" Baby Naoki shouted in a high pitch squeak.

"I don't think that was fun. You would have ended up crying." He spoke, as always as if he knew exactly what the baby said.

Sesshomaru seemed to have a natural intuition with his children. It often left his mate jealous but the jealousy was squashed out by a pride of having someone care so much for them.

The demon lord had truly grown since she first met him all those years ago under that great tree.

It seemed he learned that caring wasn't weakness but strength.

That was why he didn't travel as often, though he still desired power, his family became his main priority.

That's how it should be.

Untitled Female Inuyasha x Female Reader

Sneak peek on a lesbian f:Inuyasha x f:reader one shot that I am thinking about finishing

White fluffy ears twitched in annoyance as watchful eyes narrowed down into a glare, light pink lips pouted and arms were crossed over their chest while Miroku and (Y/n) laughed and chatted.

The perverted monk was a little too close for comfort but Yashi could do nothing to break the two apart, she had already upset (Y/n) earlier today and was afraid if she did it again, the (h/c) would give her the silent treatment or some other punishment to keep the half-demon in check.

(Y/n) doesn’t use the sit command much on the demon-girl believing it to be too harsh of a punishment, but she also doesn’t want Yashi to think that it’s okay to infer in who she wishes to befriend or whatever crazy thing the half-demon thinks is okay to do when it isn’t.

Some times the human girl wonders if it’s a demon thing or a time thing? (e/c) eyes cut away briefly from the (overly)friendly monk who decided to join the trio on their journey to glance at Yashi who was pretty much just sitting on a boulder pouting away (like a child in a time out, which the human girl thought was funny and cute) while Shippo just ran about having fun.

(Y/n) quickly turned her attention back onto the monk as to not seem rude, they were talking to one another after all, though his part of the conversation seemed to border on flirting, but she ignored it and just registered it as harmless and simply thought of it as apart of his character, plus even if he was serious, she didn’t return his feelings in the slightest.

Notes:

Reader: I was thinking about the reader being bi but I will instead leave it up to you rather or not she’s bi or lesbian 

Kikyo: I kept Kikyo a woman because I liked the idea of Yashi being a lesbian rather than Bi.

Sango: Has you can tell this is before they met Sango so I left her out though originally I was going to have Sango being the one Yashi was jealous of but changed my mind… idk why I did.

Miroku: His eyes looked dark blue in all of the photos I could find, if I am wrong please correct me. I am not sure if I wanted him to genuinely have a crush on the Reader or was just his usual perverted flirty self, so I kept bouncing back and forth with the idea… so I think there might be mixed messages in there… haha, sorry about that 🥺🙏🏼
