Saturn in Pisces Goes Direct

On November 4th, Saturn in Pisces will be direct again, after spending several months in retrograde. Praise! I don't know about you but the retrograde, which started on June 17, hit me very hard. Like Regina George- getting-hit-by-that-bus hard. That is often the purpose of Saturn retrograde, though. It forces you to reevaluate what is not working.

The people most affected by Saturn's retrograde are those with planets conjunct, square or opposite Saturn's current sign by transit. So, those of us with Pisces, Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius placements, particularly in the early degrees (0 to 8 degrees) have felt it the most.

(Also, if it's your Saturn Return, I will pray for you. Lol jk. But, this means that all the demands and lessons of your Saturn are being emphasized even more than usual)

My Mercury, Venus and Mars are all in Virgo, with Mercury conjunct Mars currently opposite Saturn. As absolutely frustrating as this time period often was, it was ultimately a learning experience. A time to realign. It slowed me down and created obstacles but a lot of it, since Saturn is in Pisces, had to do with really sitting with myself, trusting in the Divine more, and letting go of many things, including certain illusions.

Ultimately, I am glad it happened. It was productive in certain ways and I even wrote what I consider to be my best poetry to date because of all that was going on. Saturn will give you lemons. And you can either eat those lemons with a sour face or put in the work to make yourself some delicious lemonade. It's your choice!

The retrograde forces us inward and demands that we assess our trouble areas or limitations. So, once it goes direct, we will have the acquired wisdom we need to do great things. In Pisces, this involves spiritual growth, the importance of compassion (toward the self as well as others) and surrendering to the flow of events.

Divinely Guided

Saturday - November 4, 2023

I learned astrology by meditating with the planets, not by reading books. Certainly I added to my knowledge with books, and I have an entire library of classic astrology literature. But the foundational understanding of the planets came from the planets themselves, and the first planet to teach me was Saturn.

Today Saturn in Pisces goes direct after a five-month retrograde helping us clear spiritual karma that we've been tripping all over for a long time. We now move forward with a cleaner slate, one without so much karmic "gunk" on it. Without that gunk we're able to experience God Universe easier.

And that new experience begins today, as we also have Mercury in Scorpio opposing Uranus in Taurus at 21°. These two planets are "mirrors" of each other; Uranus representing a higher, more elevated aspect of Mercury. Mercury is more surface, Uranus more exalted, when it comes to your thoughts and speech.

Let God Universe and its creations teach you today. Open your mind to a tree educating you, or the skies speaking to you. Hear the wisdom in the nature around you, and go higher than the average human consciousness.

God's Universe has volumes to say and teach.
