Sujitha Dhanush's Journey from Child Star to Leading Serial Actress

More manipulated images! With this one, I managed to do what I wanted last time, with Little Red and the B. B. Wolf. I used this french poster as base:
I've got a reproduction hanging in my apartment.
With Microsoft Photo Editor, I removed the blue background. I could've removed the green border too, but I was lazy, and it's pretty much a solid color, I could've changed it manually if I felt like it. (I'm only realizing that now, though).
On FireAlpaca, I separated the image into the blue part and the rest with two layers. I applied the Ben-Day process I figured out on the blue layer, and changed the rest of the image to a red tint. Then I converted the red tinted version to a two-color vector on Inkscape (the colors being pink and brown).
I repeated the process for the red tinted layer, separating it into two layers, then applying the Ben-Day process on both, one being black over a red background (dark red) and the other being red over a white background (light red).
I'm pretty pleased with the result, the other versions of the image I tried to modify, a long honking time ago, don't look nearly as good, see:
Lame!
As for the movie itself - or rather, the serial: It's an adaptation of three American serials (made by a French studio, however), starring Pearl White. You know, she was the inspiration for the Penelope Pitstop cartoons, always getting tied up and chained to a railway by bad guys. In the movies, however, she often got out of those traps without help.
The dude in the poster is the villain from one of those serials, Exploits of Elaine. His name is "The Clutching Hand", and he's one of the first movie supervillains - although Fantômas came first. He's also the first hidden villain, which is why he's got the bandana covering his face. Filmgoers had to go see every episode of the serial to narrow down his secret identity. It was kind of like a superhero franchise, you gotta watch them all.
See, he's got a mask under his mask.
Of course, one of Pearl White's movies, The Perils of Pauline, was produced by William Randolph Hearst, a real-life supervillain, so, let's not give the era that much credit.

"Emily..." Randall began, almost tearfully, but it was June and Wilhelm who spoke up over him-not to agree, not to rush her out the door and warn her not to come back, but instead to ask her to stay.
"Please," Wilhelm began, as June reached out to take the young woman's cold hand, stopping her as he continued, "W-Would you stay, just a little longer, lass? Really, we...we'd like it if you stayed. I-I promise, y-you're not intruding; Junie and I weren't able to sleep anyways..."
"You saved our son's life, and you brought him back home to us," June continued gently, as Randall sat up a little, just as surprised as Emily was at this sudden turn of events, this change in reaction in his parents. "We...we can't thank you enough for that. Please, won't you sit down? I...I think we have a lot to talk about...and a lot to apologize for."
At this, Randall's eyes widened further, as he looked between Emily, his mother, and his father, that surprise turning to a sort of tentative relief, as his mother encouraged Emily to make herself comfortable, while June moved to the kitchen to put on a pot of tea, to perhaps soothe their frazzled nerves. She hoped the young woman (not a monster, she thought to herself, but a young woman) would accept, and hear out what the Pace parents had to say.

points to Genshin for co-opting a famous Sherlock Holmes quote and remixing it in such a way that it is now considerably worse
Holmes: How often have I said to you that when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?
Paimon: The impossible could not have happened. Whatever happened must have been that which is possible.
Anyway, given all the information we were just dealt regarding Champion Duelists, it is extremely strange that we'll be entering Ace Attorney style gameplay as a lawyer on someone else's behalf. I would've expected that we'd be the ones getting arrested and forced to fight a boss - like the character Childe specifically hyped up by name, Clorinde.
Well, this is Genshin, after all. I got briefly excited when I thought we were going to fight Focalors right out the gate - and then when her guards ran in front of us to intercept, I immediately kicked myself for my foolishness. And then we didn't even get a mob enemy fight!
Lyney, Lynette and Freminet are cute, but that's about it. I wonder if Lyney was supposed to sound a bit snappy with Freminet at times, or if that was just some awkward voice direction.
