It’s been a while since I’ve made progress on this one — not because I’m not invested in it anymore, I’m just even more invested in a plethora of other WIPs (as you know). I think I will end up making this a series of shorter fics, so they are easier to write and read. Also to artificially boost the number of works in a certain tag, which is barren.

Anyway. Fold your hands and close your eyes started as a Transmasc Felix Propaganda fic, but has since turned into an in-depth exploration of his relationship with Amelie from the moment she learnt she was expecting. The title was taken from Church Bells, by Carrie Underwood, which tells you everything you need to know about where the story is headed.

And since I know you, Noctie, I shall give you the Graham de Vanily twins:

Emilie, as always, did not understand.

“This is wonderful news,” she exclaimed, arms clasped uncomfortably tight around her sister’s stomach. “Oh, Lilie, I’m so happy for you.”

The corners of Amelie’s lips twitched. Her brother-in-law, at least, had the decency to stand a few steps behind; she was grateful for his emotional incompetence.

This was, by far, the most pathetic baby shower in the history of baby showers. But it was nice to have company over without supervision — as unpleasant as said company might be.

“Isn’t it wonderful? Our little ones will be born within a few months of each other,” Emilie smiled, rubbing her bump with childlike excitement. “They will practically be twins, too!”

Evidently, she looked back on their childhood with more fondness than Amelie ever could.

“We need to get them matching bonnets,” the older twin chirped. “Oh, wouldn’t it be so cute if we got one of each?”

“One of each…?”

“A boy and a girl, silly!”

There was something unsettling about the way Emilie talked about their unborn children; a stranger passing by might have believed she was carrying them both.

Daily vlog

"So..." Adam smiled, holding the camera over his head, to get his best angle. "Are we filming Baby #3 birth?"

Adam asked, turning to look at his wife, and at the camera again with another smile without waiting for Alissa’s reply.

His hand traveled to spank Alisa's tight, bare belly, leaving the mark of his palm over the sensitive skin and making her groan slightly. Adam nodded enthusiastically before talking to the camera again. "Of course we are! What do you think, huh? It's a tradition at this point, right, honey?"

Alisa took a deep breath, putting herself together before looking at the camera and giving her best smile. She had been up since 5 am this morning, with a crying baby hanging from her hip and a sick toddler throwing up all day long, and honestly, the last thing she wanted to do right now was to expose herself to the camera.

But Adam insisted. How could they let their followers down without a daily vlog today?

He couldn't, and he was gonna post that vlog. Of course, who wouldn't have the energy to produce, film, edit, and post a vlog when you wake up at 10 am and do exclusively nothing all day?

Alisa knew that it was their job, that the moment they signed up for the influencer life, their whole purpose (and not like she was complaining, there were moms out there that had real jobs and still had to deal with way worse than her) but she did expect some empathy from her husband.

She was about to pop, literally, this baby out. Everything was crazy, from her hormones to the altered routine in the house, but as always, Adam was blissfully unaware of the chaos that surrounded their lives right now.

“So, there you go” Adam winked at the camera, “Actually, our next blog will probably be Baby’s #3 birth, right honey?”

Yes, it was gonna be another birth vlog. This morning when she looked at herself in the mirror, Alissa realized that her stomach had dropped, tight and bloated past her hips, the taut skin stretching to its limits today seemed like it was about to burst.

So, yes, the next video on their channel Alissa was almost 100% sure it was gonna be a birth vlog.

“...maybe.”

She really wished that this time they could’ve done something a bit more… conventional. Private, away from all the cameras and views. With their last baby, Adam had the fucking camera in her face the whole process. From the moment she woke up to contractions to the moment she popped out the kid in the birthing tub. This time, she wasn’t in the mood for all that, no matter how many views it would give them.

Adam went on, ranting about something and talking about their sponsor they got earlier in the month, a really bad marketing job for a really bad product, but Alisa didn’t hear him because Ryatt was getting something she shouldn’t have inside her mouth. The blonde groaned as she clumsily tried to kneel down, reaching over her huge stomach to take the toy out of the baby’s sticky hand.

“Adam, help me here” she breathed, pointing to the baby with her hand.

Adam gave her a look, and outside of the camera frame, signaled her to wait. He talked about another one of their sponsors, said goodbye to their subscribers and their classic outro line (family always first, and y’all are family) to their subscribers, and just then walked over to help her after he turned the camera off.

“God, fuck…!” she groaned, holding onto her stomach as she struggled to stand up straight.

“Language” Adam raised an eyebrow, pointing at Ryatt with his head.

“Bullspit, I’m so darn over with this”, pointing to herself, Alisa looked down at her gravid stomach. “I’m so fucking done. I can’t wait to get this baby out of me and… And I told you I would prefer to keep his birth private, Adam”

The tone wasn’t stern or accusative, just done— deep down, Alisa knew her husband was going to do whatever he wanted anyway. Little choice she had.

“I know, I know…” Adam shrugged, his eyebrows raising and his mouth scrunching up.

He knew, of course, he did, but to be honest, he didn’t care enough. His wife was being dramatic as if she hadn’t gone over with this two times already. But he knew that he had to add something to fill the silence that followed, he always did have something to say.

“If I could, babe, I would carry our baby for you” he sighed dramatically, turning around and away from his wife. “Actually, I wish I could be pregnant instead of you right now, honey…”

His words were left hanging in the air as Adam disappeared into the hallway to the kitchen, ready to grab a beer and sit down on the couch to relax for a while before getting to edit.

Alisa stared at his back as he disappeared into the kitchen. His nice legs and his toned arms, his perfect back and she couldn’t see the six-pack, but it was there. Because Adam didn’t have to carry two kids, to gain weight and to lose weight, to lose his six-pack or to see his whole body change in a matter of months.

It wasn't him who had to endure the contractions, the labor, or the long hospital nights while waiting to be able to spread his legs open and push.

He didn’t wish he could be pregnant. Oh, but Alisa did.

Alisa made breakfast, did laundry, got through the morning with two kids under 5 and all while dealing with those awful cramps that kept interrupting her. They weren't contractions, she knew those pretty well, but they were the foreword of a long story.

Adam? He edited their latest video and went to take a nap on the couch.

Without opening his eyes, Adam let out a small groan and tilted his head to hide his face against one of the cushions. Something had interrupted his sleep, but he didn’t hear Ryatt's cries or Bobby playing loudly somewhere in the house, nor his wife complaining about something.

So he did what everyone would do, he didn’t even bother fully opening his eyes and tried to go fall back into a deep slumber.

But something was off. His head was feeling dizzy and his whole body was… acting funny. An overall feeling of being sick, something he ate, probably.

He shifted, moving his hips to turn to his side, and he frowned when he felt something in his stomach move. With a groan, the hand that rested between his thighs slid off from there to move to his abs, rubbing the soft spot trying to ease whatever was grumbling inside his tummy.

Soft, a bit harder if he pressed down. But it didn’t have to be soft, he hit the gym 6 days a week and had washboard abs, he was the envy of all the suburban dads in their neighborhood. Suddenly, his stomach fussed again, and this time it came accompanied by a cold free of air brushing against his skin, making him shiver.

Half asleep, fighting to pull a strand of consciousness and get himself up fully, Adam’s features turned into a confused grimace as his mind finished coming back to this reality. When he finally opened his blue eyes, covering his face with his hands to dismiss the headache that the sunlight from the windows gave him, he immediately knew something wasn’t right.

His free hand was still rubbing over his stomach, and it was still… It was round. Round and firm, the protuberance that rested under the palm of his hand.

“What…?” Adam mumbled, confusion slowly taking over his sleepiness and pulling him back to reality.

He was wide awake now, his body and mind alert. When he looked down at himself, the scream of horror that left his lips almost deafened him, leaving his eardrums ringing loudly and his heart hammering against his chest.

It felt cold. The cold breeze brushing against his skin because his white shirt was now all lifted over to his chest, exposing his warm skin to the air. His shirt was lifted because where it was supposed to be a flat, toned stomach, now there was a fat, round belly, nothing like what he had ever seen before.

He must have eaten something bad, something that made him bloat and just feel weird overall, but bloat like this?

In front of him, his stomach wasn't just bloated, it felt tight and hot at the touch and the skin was itchy, stretched to the limit in what seemed to be the few hours he was asleep. His abs were gone, and now a gravid mount of flesh sat there, huge and tender.

From confusion, Adam's mind raced to fear, because there was no logical or reasonable explanation to any of this. If it was something he ate, then it was something that made him terribly wrong and he probably should head to the doctor ASAP.

But, deep down, Adam knew it wasn't something he ate. Under a thinning layer of denial, he knew.

His chest wrenched with his agitated breaths, and Adam tried to lift himself up from the couch. He failed, not used to the weight that he carried now on his middle (God, he was heavier now) and the only thing he could do was to lay there for a few seconds, staring down.

At his belly.

He felt like he needed to puke when unexpectedly something inside him squirmed.

He closed his eyes tightly to avoid nausea rising up in his throat, and the deprivation of one of his senses seemed to whip up the other ones. He could feel how hot the skin that covered his now rounded stomach was, how hot his body was, how heavy he felt and how something was squirming inside him.

His left hand moved over his stomach, right under his left rib, and he swallowed. As soon as his hand pressed down against the tense flesh, another tiny hand pressed back from the inside.

"Fuck, fuck fuck..." gripping at the couch's back, a loud moan escaped from his lips as he curled his fingers around the fabric above the couch, holding onto it desperately, lifting himself up.

It was, to say at least, weird to carry himself around now. The few seconds that he ran, well, more like waddled, towards the bathroom were something. So this was what it was like?

The image in the mirror proved what Adam already knew.

I wish I could be pregnant.

He stared at his reflection, turning to the side to let his eyes travel from the top of his head to his middle, then turned to his other side and to the front again. His hand moved to rest on top of his stomach as if he needed another confirmation that it was there and it was real.

He thought about it for a moment, before he pinched the tight skin of his belly. He hoped he would wake up, there was a small part of him that still hoped this was just a bad dream and his mind was doing some crazy tricks while his real body was still asleep on the couch. But he was awake.

The waistband of his sweatpants moved down a centimeter. He looked down, his eyes wide open as he witnessed right in front of him how his stomach swelled, the skin extended and shifting as his stomach grew in size.

The front door opened, and Bobby rushed in, throwing his frog backpack next to the door before Alisa followed him with Ryatt clinging to her hip. Adam made his way to her as quickly as he could.

“Oh! Mommy, look!” Bobby shouted as soon as he saw him, his little finger pointing to Adam’s gravid stomach. “Daddy has Little brother now! Look!”

But Adam couldn't even stop to look at him, because he could only focus on the fact that where Alisa was supposed to have a nine-month overdue belly, there was just a flat stomach. Fuck.

They stood in front of each other, Alisa looked at him, then down at his belly, and then up at him again.

“Well, I guess wishes do come true, honey!” The tone was so cheerful that it made Adam’s blood boil.

Probably…his hormones messing with him? As if that was the least of his problems. A cramp took over him, painful enough to bring a frown to his face and make him rub the side of his belly.

“We need to go to the hospital!”

“Why the rush?”

A dark spot started to spread all over Adam’s grey sweatpants as a gush of amniotic fluid came out of him.

“My…your…my water just broke!”

“You need to change, and we need to take the kids to my mom’s house…”

“Why are you so calm?”

“Relax, honey” she sighed “I have done this two times already! It’s gonna be just fine. You have to change, go get the hospital bag, oh, and of course get the camera!”

“We are not… fuck… filming this” he breathed, gripping the table next to him when another sharp pain took over him.

“What do you mean?” Alisa frowned as she picked up Bobby's backpack again “It's a tradition at this point. Of course, we're filming. It’s going to be a hit.”

Besides the fact that all of this escaped all logic and reason, there was a tangible reality. Something that was happening right here, right now, and it was the fact that Adam was in labor. Didn't matter how much he tried to deny what was going on, to say he was still dreaming, because the pains that were shooting through his middle, contracting the muscles and making him whine felt very real and were happening, quicker and faster every minute.

He took a deep breath, moving his hand under his belly to lift it slightly, hoping to ease the pain or the pressure that was starting to build up on his hips, but it didn’t work. He wasn't sure how much time he had before it got actually serious, but he did know that after his water broke, it was little.

“Turn that off…” Adam titled the camera that rested on the car seat cup holder away, his free hand flying to wipe sweat from his forehead. “Oh, fuck…”

Alisa tilted the camera back to its original position. Her husband shifted on the passenger's seats, his both hands now busy rubbing the contracting bump that rested between his open thighs.

Well, at least now he knew that contractions were more painful than a kick in the balls.

“Oh, oh, ah!” He cried out, his body tightening up, and a low groan leaving him as he leaned forward pressing his palms against the dashboard and panting heavily. “Fuck, I need you to… ugh… I need you to drive faster, honey.”

“Babe, I’m going as fast as I can,” Alisa replied, looking at him through the corner of her eye. “Just breathe, okay?”

Looking outside the window, Adam tried to find a distraction. Anything, really, that made him not think about the increasing pressure that was building between his legs and about how low the baby was.

He shifted in his seat, his hips swinging back and front trying to find a spot that didn't make him feel so miserable. Placing a hand on the side of the seat and another on the grab handle, Adam leaned forward and spread his legs as another loud grunt escaped his lips, his eyes closing tight and his breath picking up again when another tight contraction hit him.

He tried breathing, in and out just as he would tell Alisa to do, but it wasn’t doing shit.

The heavy weight on his hips and pelvis was getting closer and closer to coming out. Adam didn’t want it to come out. At least not here, in the fucking car in the middle of the road.

“We’re five minutes away from the hospital” Alisa reassured, her hand patting his tense thigh. “Just breathe”

“I don’t… ughn, fuck! I don’t know if I can… oh… hold it in that much longer” Adam panted, moving to unclasp the seatbelt that now pressed uncomfortably against his stomach. “Fuck, there’s pressure. It feels like… I have to push!”

“How do you even know that you have to push?” Stopping at a red light, Alissa raised both eyebrows before tilting to face him.

“Because it’s coming out!” Adam cried, moving back on his seat to prop up both feet against the dashboard, throwing his head back as he moaned.

“Just breathe. We’re almost there”

Just breathe. We’re almost there. The words were an echo, and Adam was sure that he said those exact phrases before, before the births of their two kids, in this exact same car. But he didn’t realize how useless, how annoying having someone repeating just calm down was.

God, fuck, he wondered how Alissa didn’t just slap him those times. If anyone was going to tell him to calm the fuck down again, he was going to kill someone.

His murder instincts were quickly dismissed when he closed his eyes, his hands moving to slide under his belly and lifting it slightly, as if it could help to ease the pressure on his pelvis. With a cry, he shifted forward, now moving his hands to slide under his thighs, lifting his hips from the car seat.

It was coming. Now. And out.

He could feel his own body pushing against his wishes, and the more he tried to avoid it, the worse it was, the baby helpless making its way down his pelvis and towards his hole. It felt as if at the first bump Alisa hit on the road the baby would just pop out of him.

He didn’t notice when he pushed back in the seat, breathing heavily through his nose as he pressed himself down against the seat, trying to prevent anything from coming out.

But it was useless because his commitment lasted little when his brain was overwhelmed by the urge to just allow his body to do what it had to do. To push.

The baby’s head was right there. Adam’s hand slid between his legs, the palm of his hand pressing against his bulging hole, the head sitting behind his entrance and almost ready to start crowning. Almost out of him.

“…fuck!” he writhed, gritting his teeth as he kicked against the car floor. “Fuck, fuck, fuck!”

The fingers of his free hand gripped at the grab handle, knuckles turning white, and his other hand was busy pressing against his hole, trying to keep the head from coming any further. It was useless because the head was still pushing its way down, out of him on its own.

He could feel the bulge against his palm, growing ever so slowly as Alissa pressed her foot on the pedals. Adam threw his head back, closing his eyes shut and trying to focus on his breath. The same advice he always gave: breathe.

His chest rose slowly as he inhaled, then shakily exhaled through his closed lips. It should be fine, he just had to breathe —in and out and counting to five— focus on remaining calm, and he could just make it to the hospital. They were just a few minutes away, all he had to do was… push.

“Oh, fuck, it’s coming!” he screamed, kicking his feet in the air, his hips shifting forwards and to the seat edge. “Honey, Alissa, it’s right there”

Alissa tilted her head, looking away from the road for a brief moment to face her husband. She found herself contemplating an image that, deep down in her stomach, in a very hidden spot and a very small dose, made her happy: she got exactly what she wanted. Her husband going through all of the wonderful miracles of birth.

Adam panted, the tense orb his stomach had become contracting and tensing in front of him, his hands gripping at the taunt red skin, furiously trying to relieve the pain or the pressure, his body almost shaking by the urge of pushing the baby that was starting to crown. His face was red and sweaty, hands and all of his body straining and tense.

Alissa, rightfully, stopped at a red light, a bunch of cars passing in front of them.

“Don’t stop, fuck, it’s…!” Adam shouted, but then his words became a muffled groan as he gritted his teeth, pushing his chin to his chest. “I can’t hold it in, I’m pushing!”

Even against his wishes, his body was pushing. Adam found himself trying to hold the baby in, to not give in to the urge, but his body was pushing. His stomach contracted and he found himself tensing, chin to chest, and gripping at the grab handle as he pushed. He counted to three and pushed again when another cramp took over him.

“Fuck!” he shouted, feeling the head stretching him open, making its way out. Adam reached with a free hand to press his hand over his wet, birth-fluid-stained shorts, only to feel the start of a bulge in his pants.

The pressure of the head right about to crown was hell. It only made him want to push to get over it, to push more to get the head to a full crown and get rid of the uncomfortable feeling, but god fuck he didn’t want to give birth to this baby in the car.

“It’s crowning, the head’s-... nhgn, what am I supposed to do!?” it was more a whimper than a question, and Adam found himself kicking in the air, biting his lower lips until he almost drew blood. “Shit, shit, shit…! Ughn!”

“I don’t know!” Alissa stepped on the gas and accelerated. “Don’t push! Just… wait! We’re almost there, just five minutes away from the hospital.”

Adam nodded, then shook his head, both hands moving to cup the underside of his belly, trying to relieve the pressure that was weighing him down. It didn’t work, and he found himself trying to contain a moan when another contraction rippled through his body, a gush of amniotic fluid rushing from between his legs and dripping to the car floor.

His hips jerked frantically as he rocked forth and back slightly, trying to find any angle that was comfortable for him to keep this baby in, but it was terribly useless because, with every movement of his body, the baby's head seemed to come closer and closer to a full crown.

“Ughn…!” he moaned, his fingers gracelessly trying to slide under the hem of his pants in order to pull them down. The baby was coming. “Fuck, it’s coming, I’m pushing….!”

His finger’s ministrations were interrupted when he interrupted when another contraction took over him, all of his focus on pushing. He gripped the sides of his belly, leaving white marks on the red skin, as he closed his eyes and whimpered.

“Oh, oh– it’s out, the head’s out!”

It wasn’t necessary for him to say it out loud because Alissa’s attention was dangerously divided between looking at the road and staring down between her husband's legs. His pants were dark and wet, stained by amniotic fluid, and the baby’s head bulged out of them almost obscenely -–god, it was huge—, only contained from coming further by the fabric of the pants.

“Fuck— I need to push, I need to push, I’m pushing!” he moaned, throwing his head back against the car seat and jerking his hips forward, his hands desperately trying to undo his shorts. “Ughn…the…mhgm…pants! Help me!”

“I can’t, hands at 9 and 3!”

With a loud whimper, Adam finally managed to pull his shorts down enough to allow the baby’s head to pop out of him free, a gush of fluid dampening his seat as the head dangled between his legs. His body shook at the feeling of the head stretching him open on its biggest point, and then the relief when it was finally out. Alissa stared in horror as her husband held the baby’s head in hand with one hand between his legs.

Alissa reached a hand to help Adam slide his pants down more, his body contorting as he pulled forward, pushing his hips towards the free space of whatever was left in the car. Now with his pants to his ankles, his body tensed once again, and he squirmed on his seat as he focused on the next contraction that rippled through his body.

“...fuck, nhgn!” his face became red as his feet kicked the car floor, kicking and screaming as he pushed. “Nhgn!”

With his next push, the baby’s body almost came shooting out of him. He screamed in pain as he felt the body coming out of him, the shoulders being even worse than the head. But before he could realize, it was over. A second later he heard a heavy cry, and the newborn resting against his chest.

His body slumped against the seat. He looked outside the windows, seeing the well known entrance of the hospital as Alissa parked the car, parking it at the nearest spot available. Before unclasping her seatbelt, Alissa reached to grab the videocamera. Adam stared at it before he spoke.

"You filmed it, right?”

The Twitter Drama AU Timeline

finally, after months, we finally have a timeline. this is not exhaustive (i tried to mainly include the super important parts, and some less important parts i thought were REALLY funny), and is probably only 75% accurate due to the non-linear nature we wrote the fic in to begin with, but it is better than nothing! updated as of chapter 10 (low hanging fruits)

12th March 2023: Tiny Diamond is born, Creek is his other dad, which is kept a secret from everyone except Guy and Creek.

November 2023: The events of Band Together, almost completely identical. Following which, Brozone get back together and start working on their reunion album. Now that Branch is in the spotlight, Barb is forced to acknowledge her ex girlfriend (one night stand) Poppy is a lot happier with a transfem butch, which sparks Barb’s descent into terfism. Val and Creek briefly see each other.

December 2023: John Dory gets his Twitter confiscated by Clay. Floyd gets his sex tape leaked (by Creek). Clay throws Viva under the bus for the first time. Clay accidentally gets Bruce accused of cheating on his wife, but they pin it on Branch, who just organised a fake breakup with Poppy because he was uncomfortable with all the smutfic. Riff leaves Barb’s band, and collabs with Creek but calls him an asshole. Velvet gets out of prison and writes a callout thread on Floyd. Floyd gets cancelled for the first time. Creek and Floyd start seeing each other in secret.

January 2024: Val publicly comes out as nonbinary and is kicked out of Barb’s band, then outs Barb as a nepo baby as revenge. JD tries to sneak back onto stantwt but is doxxed. Floyd tells Branch about his relationship with Creek; Branch is surprisingly fine with it as long as Creek is suffering, and boy does he suffer.

February 2024: A misunderstanding leads everyone to think Branch broke up with Poppy because he’s a gay man. He comes out as a lesbian but is immediately met with vitriol of both the exclusionist and transmisogynistic varieties. Barbtwt have a bone to pick with Hickory but he comes out on top. Clay throws Viva under the bus again but this time she's had enough, and releases an expose video on him and kicks him out of the pod. Viva and Floyd become BFFs.

March 2024: Dating rumours about Smidge and Poppy start, which Smidge does nothing to help. Barb accuses Smidge’s actual boyfriend of being a pedophile, and gets ratio’d. Creek and Floyd go public with their relationship.

June 2024: Guy Diamond gets into controversy after soliciting a camgirl and his family vlog channel goes on hiatus. Clay and Viva get back together, and Viva records revenge porn of him to “keep him in line”.

August 2024: Biggie gets into mild controversy that escalates into cancelation when he responds in character as Mr Dinkles. Clay and Vivas relationship becomes undeniably abusive, but they’re really good at hiding it.

September 2024: Floyd and Creek get married! Satin & Chenille have Velvet on their podcast. Guy Diamond gets cancelled after being outed as Pro-Life. 

15th December 2024: Floyd and Creek have twins, Brad and Angelina [LASTNAME]-[LASTNAME2-.

April 2025: Creek and Floyd drop all pretences of thinking they’re a healthy couple.

12th May 2025: Creek aborts his second egg. They would have been named Shiloh. Floyd is distraught and gets harassed on Twitter again for being Pro-Life.

August 2025: Creek and Floyd divorce.

September 2025: It comes to light that DJ Suki is stealing from her niece CJ.

December 2025: Creek and Floyd get back together. Val stops hiding their racism from twitter and get doxxed by KPop fans. They have to live with their mother.

January 2026: Harper starts drawing Bruce as a transphobic caricature, a skinny feminine twink.

February 2025: Viva stops taking birth control. Branch gets doxxed for the first time (by Cloud Guy). Dante starts stalking Branch.

March 2026: jdtwt find out that JD used to have a thing with Delta Dawn, and harass her a bit. The two get back in touch, and Delta tells JD that they actually had a kid together (Holly Darling). JD is thrilled about being a dad. Holly is initially apprehensive but eventually comes around. JD gives Delta Cooties (it’s okay, there’s a cure). Sky Toronto buys Twitter.Crimp gets run off the internet for uncomfortable roleplay with Tiny Diamond (pretending to be 14). Velvet gets cancelled for workplace abuse. Smidge starts queerbaiting by selling merch of referencing her and Poppy’s fake relationship.

April 2026: Tiny Diamond reveals he is not actually 14, he is physically 3 years old (but for our purposes he is functionally 9 because Trolls age weird). He loses all his OOMFs (CJ, Preiscilla, Keith (all approx 13)) and has his account suspended. Branch gets really jealous over Smidge and publicly shittalks her. He and Poppy “get back together” but set the “boundary” that any smutfic about either of them can only be Broppy (obviously not everyone follows this rule).

May 2026: Cloud Guy leaks Smidge’s miscarriage after being paid off by Barbtwt. Branch gets doxxed for the third time. Poppy demands Sky Toronto take action so he permabans Cloud Guy’s IP. Cloud Guy goes to live with his parents.

June 2026: Gust Tumbleweed is violently homophobic to Synth during an LGBT charity event, but faces no consequences because he starts flirting with his fellow straight male friends again. Poppy gets sick of Dante stalking Branch so she prepares to take matters into her own hands. Holly Darlin starts selling snake oil, from the same company that supplies for Satin & Chenille. Holly and Satin start dating.

July 2026: Satin & Chenille (both Creek’s exes) are invited to the Floyd and Creek household for dinner to ‘bury the hatchet’, where they witness blackmailable activities and force them both to come on their podcast and embarrass themselves (mostly Floyd).

August 2026: Demo falls in love with Gust after being flirted with for several months, breaks up with his current girlfriend (DJ Suki) and gets very VERY aggressively turned down by Gust. Dante sends a glitter bomb to Branch’s pod, so Poppy beats him up, but Dante calls the cops on her and she faces legal trouble. Harper starts drawing Creek as a trans man, even though Creek is a cis man, because she felt like it. It catches on. Biggie gets cancelled for something unspecified but really, really bad.

September 2026: Guy Diamond faces controversy for thinking Troll babies sleeping in beds causes Autism, which he got from Creek, who he used to date and is now interested in again. Clay starts nearing his brink wrt Viva and stays with JD for a bit. Viva finds an egg in her hair, which she soon loses (19th). Cloud Guy kills himself. Biggie overdoses while playing Overwatch. Veneer gets hit by a bus.

October 2026: Sky Toronto and Nova Swift get divorced (she leaves him for a trans Troll). Branch and Poppy get an egg, and Viva is the first they tell, so she manipulates them into thinking they’d be awful parents and she can take care of it for them. Viva uses the egg to convince Clay to come home.

31st October 2026: The egg Viva stole from Branch and Poppy hatches. Their name is Ha’Penny Hatch. Since the kid looks nothing like either “parents”, Clay figures that Viva cheated on him and finally goes grey.

November 2026: Harper deletes all her socials when her proship side account is found. Gust tricks Demo into thinking his feelings are finally returned, only to crush his heart again publicly during a subathon.

December 2026: BrozoneRonpa resurfaces. Branch accidentally says something offensive about Guy Diamond publicly, and Guy capitalises on the potential controversy, which leads to intense Guy VS Floyd beef (they are both interested in the same man (only Floyd is married to him). Nova Swift moves to Mount Rageous, leaving S&C in need of a podcast producer, and Fuzzbert is their only hope but expects a big paycheck.

January 2027: Guy Diamond reveals that Tiny Diamond is actually Creek’s son. Floyd goes to stay with Branch. Bruce finds out the real reason Clay went grey and his immediate plan is to fake Clay’s suicide and take him with him to Vacay Island. JD, Viva and Penny are the only members of Clay’s immediate family who don’t know he’s still alive. Clay’s funeral is livestreamed on Twitch. Holly Darlin’s newly rekindled relationship with her dad is halted in its infancy.

more streamer au thoughts but this time about how i think the others would be involved

robin doesn’t stream on twitch, but she does make movie commentary videos on youtube. most of the commentaries are at least half-serious, but she occasionally gets steve to guest star and they watch an actually awful film on purpose just to make fun of it. even though robin’s channel is not family friendly, steve still refuses to swear.

nancy and jonathan don’t have their own channels, but they frequently appear in the background of their roommate argyle’s videos and streams. argyle’s channel is called pizzaguy420, a name he came up with when he was 15 and irrelevant, and later refused to change because he finds it hilarious. his shtick is that he plays horror games and games that are notoriously difficult while high, so nancy and jonathan are always there to keep him in check or confiscate his bong (he is so lucky weed is legal in california).

dustin, mike, will and lucas run a group channel for DnD and co-op games they will argue over exclusively. the channel’s called hellfireclub, which eddie will ALWAYS be salty at them for because dustin stole it from him when he was telling them all about his high school DnD club.

max plays first person shooter games, and went viral for verbally destroying a bunch of men she had the displeasure of getting teamed with one game. she beat them at the game too, but their egos were particularly bruised. max’s channel is just ‘maxmayfield’ because she thinks having a thematic alias as a username is cringe.

el isn’t a twitch streamer either, she does lifestyle and day in the life vlogs. her content is all very wholesome, and gets a lot of kids as viewers. just like steve, she tries to keep things family friendly after realising who her audience is. her and steve collab a lot, despite the difference in their content. steve’s the only one who can get her to enjoy a video game (aside from maybe max) and they often play minecraft together.

gareth, jeff and the unnamed freak all have their own twitch channels that are similar to eddie’s and they stream together a lot. their fans love when they do jackbox streams together. unnamed freak is faceless online and no one online knows his real name, so everyone takes to choosing a new name to call him each stream to keep everyone on their toes. one stream, his name is mark, and the next his name is keith. none of them ever directly address the bit, and new fans are always confused but always catch on.

but how do they all know each other? mostly in line with canon tbh but a tad less trauma bonding. they somehow got just as close anyway. gareth jeff and unnamed freak were all still in a DnD club with eddie in high school, eddie and max were still neighbours as teenagers, max and the party were friends in high school, dustin knows steve because steve babysat him as a kid, and steve knows robin because they met at work.

and argyle somehow knows eddie from a random music festival years back (eddie doesn’t remember this) and reaches out to eddie once their follower counts are similar to ‘rebond’ and eddie is baffled enough to respond with a ‘who the fuck are you’ and start a beautiful friendship that exasperates steve to no end.

Backstory: Hanabi doesn't have a dramatic life. She was born and raised in a nice area in London by a food loving family. Her mother owns a very well-known bakery, which she and her family live upstairs from, and the father is a 4.5 star chef who owns his restaurant. And even though food basically runs in their blood, her parents are very open-minded about what her future could turn out to be if it isn't something food based (although that doesn't mean they won't teach her how to cook). Ever since Hanabi manifested her quirk at the ripe age of 2 with her eyes closed, her parents were both aware of how her quirk's potential could easily steer her into the direction of training to become a hero.

Quirk: Holy restoration

Mutant type. Hanabi has a halo around her head as well as around the wrists of her hands, the ankles of her feet and one above her head at all times. She also had a small pair of head wings made of nothing but fluffy feathers.

Her main ability is healing herself or a person from physical and mental pain by pressing my hands over theirs together in a prayer "🙏🏾". This will form a halo over the persons head as a sign they are healing;

○ during this process, procedures in the oddly pretty appearance of glowing yellow outlines will start to take place over the injury like a needle and thread stitching up a wound for example but the procedures are harmless, maybe ticklish but harmless. Once most of the healing is done, a small glowing yellow outline of a bandage or a plaster will remain over the injury and will disappear once it is fully healed.

○ She can heaten up her body temperature using the halos healing energy. Anyone who is in contact with her will warm up too.

○ She can control how bright or dim the halo is (kinda lame but it's wtv)

○ She can reposition her head halo at any angle

《 BONUS! 》 She can also detach the hoops from her body to use in for combat! She can control them like frisbees or bomberangs, hitting people or things like targets.

Sibling quirk: Feather weight

Mutant type. Hanabi's head wings are made of nothing but light fluffy feathers that sometimes have a mind of their own. The weightlessness of the wings can be activated (triggered) to affect the entirety of her body, when her brain goes into fight or flight mode.

Way past your bedtime!: Is the name of Hanabi's podcast/live stream; it started as a small YouTube channel that she made with the soul purpose of using it as a safe place to rant her mind out, past the average sleepers bedtime (around after 9:30pm). She didn't really care for getting views, she just wanted to have a place to store her thoughts when she couldnt sleep or had a long day. Turns out her videos would appear on random people's algorithm over time and because they really liked the authenticity and rawness of her personality as well as the conversations she would have with her camera, her following would grow from 10 followers to 40, then 40 to 88, then 98 to 223 and then would grow up to 92K followers and counting. Her viewer ship would extend globally, reaching Japan and America the most

As months and years passed, Hanabi would start to refine her content. She'd start to vlog what the day in a life of a highschool teen is like, her videos would sometimes feature her close friends and family every now and then, she would include her three bunnies and the family dog as guests, she'd decorated her set up (her bedroom) more, she would also make delicious meals while yapping about broader subjects that her audience would like to see her talk about like a mukbang but without the ASMR; and her highest recommended topic this week, was what she thought about becoming a hero.

When we got to Chi Chi's, Karmine hadn't gotten home yet, and I was relieved. She was a sweet kid and all, but man could she talk. I probably wouldn't have made it out once she cornered me. Ha, and now that she was a teenager, she probably had even more to say and gave Chi Chi a run for her money. Bless that child. I left from there and went immediately to Gilbert Gardens, feeling only 8% guilty that I didn't stop at Dad's. He would ask great questions and try to help me talk through it, but this was something I needed to do on my own. Sophia and I had many discussions about the future, and I sensed the urgency to seriously consider our next steps, especially since she had been prepared for quite some time. I was too, in theory, but that was the problem. My next move needed to come from the heart, not from panic or pressure. I wanted to make my request confidently, with a clear conscience and a pure heart.

A man I'd never seen before interrupted my thoughts. He looked pretty young, maybe fresh out of high school. His super light eyes struck me, and I halfway believed they were real. Gray wasn't an unusual color, but they seemed to glow against his dark skin.

"Excuse me," he said. "Sorry to bother you. I'm Wade."

"Luca. Nice to meet you."

"Yeah, same here. Look, this is my first time here, and I have a few hours to kill. Would you mind suggesting a few things to do around here?"

Ah ha! He was a tourist. Of course, I didn't know everyone in San Sequoia, but I usually saw the same sims everywhere.

"It's your first time in San Sequoia?"

"Yeah."

"Cool. Well, welcome. I love it here. Hoping to move back soon. But sure, I can help you out."

So much for my thoughtful walk. Did I really need it, though? I loved Sophia. Everyone loved Sophia, and I already considered her my family. When I thought about the future, she was all I saw. She and the rest of our family. What was there to think about? It's not like I needed to decide if I wanted to be with her forever. I just needed to do it. There was no such thing as the right time, and knowing Sophia, I didn't need to craft an elaborate plan. Just ask, and let the chips fall.

With that out of the way, my mind, and calendar, were free to help this guy. He was fortunate to approach me because he wouldn't find a bigger fan of San Sequoia.

"Actually, I have some time," I said. "I could show you a few of my favorite spots, if you want."

"It's an okay place. I'm originally from Henford, and moving to BB had it's challenges. I posted a video about it on my SimTube channel."

"You're on SimTube? That's kinda crazy because I just started a channel. What are your videos about?"

"Some of them are personal vlogs, but I also do a series listing the top things to see in different towns. Maybe I'll do one about San Sequoia. What about you? What are your videos about?"

Wow, this guy seemed heavy into SimTube. He probably had thousands of followers and made all kinds of money. Maybe we could stay in touch, and he could teach me a thing or two about growing my channel.

"Uhh, heh, well, I've only done one so far, but I'm a yoga instructor. I do simple routines that anyone can follow and learn. So, I take it you travel a lot?"

"Not as much as I plan to. I've only covered Henford and Batuu so far. I'm currently working on one for Brindleton Bay, but like I said, the place is going to take some getting used to. The entire town smells like fish!"

"Eww. Really?"

Mama didn't talk about her single life much, but I think I'd remember her saying her city smelled like fish. I'd have to ask her about that.

"I think most places have their own set of challenges, though," I continued. "Like, I recently moved to Oasis springs. I love how it's warm all the time, but man is it dusty!"

He threw his head back and let out a hearty laugh.

"Dust might be just as bad as fish!"

"It might be! Which is worse: a constant bad smell or feeling like you're dirty all the time?"

Wade was so animated and fun to watch. My question made his face wrinkle up as if the whole world suddenly reeked of fish.

"Okay, you win! Filth is the absolute worst!"

His outfit was so sleek and fancy, it was clear he liked things neat. He also looked pretty fit, so I knew what our first activity had to be.

"You workout, Wade?"

"Most definitely! Gotta look good for the ladies, right?"

"Absolutely!"

We vibe'd well, and I liked him. I bet he'd be really fun to party with.

"Nah, but seriously," he said, "my dad's obsession with fitness has rubbed off on me. Oh, and you can call me Dub. Most sims do."

I grinned at the thought of us becoming friends.

"Okay, Dub. You ready for a scenic run?"

What If The Daggers Were YouTubers 🎥 Headcanons

- Ok I had a small idea for a mini YouTuber Au for The Dagger Squad and here’s what I got!

Rooster - Day in a life of Rooster 🐓

This dude is a daily vlogger and does variety content. He also blogs a lot on his website (aka his Tumblr page). Rooster does a lot of rants and stuff on the things that he likes/doesn’t like, discussing topics of his feelings about growing up and tells stories about his life. Sometimes his videos are up to an 1 hour long of his chatting while doing chores or sitting down eating as he chats with his friends.

Vlogs on his life from the very morning to the end of his night, with music and simple creative transitions. His vlogs usually consistently shows his morning routine with his dog Lucas, him picking out his clothes for the day and running around town doing errands. Bradley tends to fixing stuff around his own little apartment complex and heading over to help build the new simple house, he want move into soon with his roommate, Hangman.

Bradley moves to play music a lot and always finds a way to include the music in his daily life, always finding new songs to add to his playlist. In which he would post his new favorite song or playlist on his social media like Twitter or Instagram. Speaking of music, Bradley has weekly specials videos of him playing his pianos and or guitar (sometimes livestream his sessions)

He is also doing a few challenge videos with the Daggers and plenty of collaborations with the gang. Since Bradley was a child he always loved the camera, especially since his father Nick and uncle Mav loved recording everything they did, so in result it lead to Rooster’s love for filming stuff and making mini movies in his backyard with his mama Carole. Now he likes to film YouTube videos with his uncle Maverick (who has his own YouTube channel as well) as they collaborated on ideas and entertaining jokes about their past.

Phoenix - Nix&Bob ❤️🧡

She has a shared YouTube channel with her man guy, Bob, but also has her separate channel for herself

When she’s recording for the shared channel, the corner of the screen will always be titled Phoenix Cam

On her personal channels, Natasha is showing hacks, tips and tricks for things. As well as makeup, hairstyle and outfit videos! She is the most Stylish Dagger, having challenges where she dresses up her friends and family for a week too. It’s always a fun one to watch!

She is always on the go so you never know where you might see Natasha next. However on certain occasions, Nat will instead have a completely different types of videos set aside where she discuss the struggles and time where she felt not the most comfortable or not confident in her own skin, what it’s like being a woman and what’s going on inside her head. On a level she’s connecting with herself and her community she built!

Bob - Nix&Bob ❤️🧡

He has a shared YouTube channel with his girl, Phoenix, but also has he separate channel for himself

When he’s recording for the shared channel, the corner of the screen will always be titled Bob Cam

On his personal channel, he tends to show editing tutorials, playing the guitar and building videos. Also as well traveling around the city! Sometimes Bob is driving to do errands while having his camera on site as he just chats with his camera like he’s talking with friends, building a connection with his community.

On occasions, just like Rooster he will just pull out his camera and just talk to it like he’s always to an actual human being and let out his thoughts and emotions on certain topics that’s been racking his brain with lately.

Hangman - Just Hanging Around 🎡

He’s all about a good time on his channel! Entertaining his audience with darling complements to his viewers, cracking a few jokes and taking them adventures with him.

Story time with Hangman, life advice and work out videos are tend to be shown a lot. How to stay fit and feel comfortable in your skin, having fun and eating as much delicious food as you can. Especially with his huge sweet tooth!

Jake tends to do simple vlogs and collaborating with his friends when he can. He loves to do morning and night routines videos, talking with his audience a lot. Building a community online, it keeps his motivated to keep doing videos as he response to comments.

He adores attending all the things he’s invited to and often jokes how he’s single and always ready to mingle ;) cause he is single! Jake sometimes jokes to the camera, “I’m gonna die alone!” While his roommate, Rooster laughs and rolls his eyes at him.

However, he did make a video on why he is single before, his past relationships and the type of lifestyle he wants to live. He said how he’s not looking for a lovely partner at the moment. But if the right person does come his way, he’ll be more than happy! But at the moment he’s perfectly happy with his life.

Coyote - Your Friendly Neighborhood Baker 🍰

Javy is a cook a heart and decided to make a channel on that! Baking all his favorite treats, delicious meals to eat anytime of day, baking cakes, different types of snacks and such.

Since Javy considers himself a huge nerdy fan of many things, he tends to make cakes and delicious treats based on the things he loved. For example he once made a cake stylized after his favorite sports team and another time, he made Star Wars cupcakes for his nephew birthday as well! Everyone loves he makes types of desserts.

He always has a sweet smile on his face and a warm glow as he bakes in his comfy clothes. Yes, he can get criticize for his style of baking and the types of videos he likes to make but Coyote tries not to let those comments get to him. Or he will discuss his own feeling on those issues with friends and family.

If he’s not baking he’s out recording himself hanging out with his friends. Playing football, collaborating with Hangman and teasing Nix&Bob on their channel sometimes.

Coyote always tends to do some daily vlogs and teaching his audience on things he likes do, sometimes he’s even playing guitar. Which result in him offer being seen in Rooster’s videos.

Payback - Take It One Step At Time 🐢

He has a shared YouTube channel with his homeboy, Fanboy, but also has he separate channel for himself

Payback is a simple guy. He loves doing daily vlogs with simple tips and tricks on how improve small things around the house. Like your own little handyman.

He also does a lot of sit down videos. In which where he discussed things and experiences that he has, because he knows everyone is always going though the same thing and it always helps to feel heard and or understood on a certain level.

Ruben says to his audience to always enjoy the little things in life and try to romanticize the simple stuff. Even if it’s just cleaning your house, cooking a meal, going to a appointment and or just getting ready for the next day, try to make it fun/easier with things like adding music or dress up in a way that makes you feel good!

Ruben always tries to make sure his community, friends and family are comfortable with his content. He sometimes will get feedback from his friends and teammates on his video before or after he uploads them. Sometimes it’s good feedback and sometimes it’s just some feedback to improve for next time.

Fanboy - Nerdiest Place On Earth 🎞

“Welcome to one of the nerdiest place of earth!” Fanboy will always say as a greeting to his audience once the camera is on him with a cheerful grin as he will introduce himself.

Yes, Mickey has a shared YouTube channel with his homeboy, Payback, where they both share the workload and have fun but he has his very own YouTube channel.

Fanboy’s channel is full of fan theories, rants about stuff he likes and doesn’t like, ranking his favorite or least favorite characters and or movies and etc. He also reactions to trailers, movies and shows while he tends to do collaborating with other YouTubers.

Mickey tends to go to Comic Con and other fan Convention. He loves to bring his audience along if he’s going to the movie theater to watch a film for the first time and will do his review in his car with his friends. He drags Bob, Phoenix, and Payback with him a lot to the theater, especially of its a weekend where they’re all hanging out and trying to collaborate together for content ideas!

Former mommy vlogger Ruby Franke once said, in one of her many, many mommy vlogs, that she would never accept being “canceled,” and anyone who didn’t like the way she treated her children just hated “responsibility.” 

Yesterday, a judge sentenced Franke, who pleaded guilty to four counts of child abuse this past December, to one to 15 years for each count, to be served consecutively. The Utah Board of Pardons and Parole will determine the exact amount of time she will serve, though it will not be more than 30 years as that is the maximum allowed for consecutive sentences in the state. 

Some might say that’s a little more than “canceled.”

Ruby Franke, like many Mormon ladies in Utah, had a family YouTube vlog documenting every day of her life with her husband and six children and dispensing parenting advice. It was called “8 Passengers” and it was hugely popular among the kinds of people who watch family vlogs. How huge? Two and a half million followers huge. 

Then, one day, she bragged in a video about how her daughter Eve’s kindergarten teacher texted her to tell her that she didn’t have any lunch, and could Ruby please come bring her one, whereupon Ruby informed the teacher that it was Eve’s responsibility to pack her own lunch, and if she didn’t have any she would just have to go hungry. Ruby added that she hoped no one gave her daughter anything to eat. 

This got a lot of traction outside her usual audience of family vlogger fans, from people who didn’t think it’s actually great parenting to starve children. 

Not long after that, she recorded a video with her son Chad who revealed that, a month after he came home from a “wilderness camp” for troubled teens (which sounds a lot like that horrifying one Paris Hilton was sent to), he played a silly prank on his little brother, waking him up and telling him to pack his things because they were all going to Disneyland. His punishment? He wasn’t allowed to have a bed for the next seven months and had to sleep on a bean bag. 

Ruby laughed and laughed the entire time like what she did was real cute. 

This didn’t go over well with viewers, and eventually someone started a Change.org petition to demand that the Utah Department of Child and Family Services do a welfare check. They started calling as well, and eventually they checked on the Frankes and, well, didn’t do jack shit. While they didn’t do anything, 90 percent of Franke’s sponsors on her YouTube channel did. They left.

It was at this point that Franke started portraying herself as a Good Conservative Mom who was being canceled by Bad Liberals Who Hate Responsibility.

“The reason we got canceled was because I was demonstrating, as I have done from day one, what a responsible mother looks like,” she said in a 2021 interview with The Wrap. “And it scared the living bejesus out of these kids who do not want to be held accountable. So that is the motive for the hate being thrown at me. I’m the antidote to their acting out, and they know it.”

Yeah, either that or they figured — correctly — that if this is what this woman thought was okay to put on camera, that whatever was happening off-camera was 10 times worse, or at least had the potential to get there. 

Eventually she abandoned family vlogging in favor of family counseling and joined forces with Jodi Hildebrandt, who was also charged in connection with this case. No one heard much about her until Franke’s 12-year-old son escaped Hildebrandt’s home (where he was staying) and ran to a neighbor for help, emaciated and covered in wounds and duct tape. 

Police arrested Franke, and not for the crime of being a responsible mother.

From May to August 2023, Ms. Franke, a mother of six, created a “concentration camp-like setting” for two of her children, who were 9 and 11 at the time, Eric Clarke, the Washington County attorney, said during the sentencing hearing. She regularly denied them adequate food, water, entertainment and beds, and isolated them from others, he said. Ms. Franke, 42, also forced her children to do physical tasks in extreme heat, without shoes, socks or water, Mr. Clarke said. They were forced to stand on hot concrete in the summer heat for hours and sometimes days at a time, he added, and were beaten and regularly bound by their hands and feet. The injuries were so severe that the children required hospitalization.

If you’re wondering where the duct tape came in, it is because Hildebrandt and Franke “treated” the areas from where they were handcuffed and legcuffed with “homeopathic remedies” and then wrapped them in duct tape. 

Franke later revealed in court that she also believed that her children were “possessed” and that extreme discipline was the only thing that could save them. this was a belief, she said, she got from Hildebrandt. Indeed, much of her court statement involved blaming Hildebrandt for more or less brainwashing her into believing that child abuse was what her kids needed. 

Hildebrandt is her own kind of monster, so this would be believable if not for everything else Franke thought was a great idea before May of 2023. So much for all that accountability she once loved so much.

It is possible that if, instead of assuming Franke was being “cancel cultured” for “demonstrating … what a responsible mother looks like,” the police and DCFS actually took the complaints seriously in the first place, those kids never would have been hospitalized or otherwise further traumatized. Wouldn’t that have been nice?

ive had some thoughts about a Try Guys AU for the fruity four, but mostly Steddie. so here we go:

In a fruity four try guys au Robin is Zack, Eddie is Keith, Nancy is Eugene, and Steve is Ned.

Except obviously Steve is genuinely a good “I love my partner” guy and the reason he never says their name is because they are very private person who does not want to be on camera.

Eddie is always joking with Steve that this partner of his sounds fake and Steve will always roll his eyes and say, “You’ve met them! Stop making the internet think I'm making up my SO.”

A large part of the fanbase actually ships Steve and Eddie because they’re dynamic in videos is always fun and lightly flirty. People also love the bromance and think their friendship is so pure and a genuine show of nontoxic masculinity.

Then everything changed when the pictures were leaked. Steve and Eddie were photographed at a concert dancing and hanging out, they also were photographed at a bar after where they were making out in the corner, probably thinking no one could see them.

The drama lasted a couple of days, people were blowing up their social media. A lot of people were saying things like, “We all as an internet need to find Steve's girlfriend and make sure she knows he's been CHEATING ON HER WITH HIS COWORKER!”

After letting everything simmer down they post a video to the chanel that's just steve and eddie. The two of them are sitting on a couch holding hands. They cut to the chase pretty quickly. 

“We all know why you're here, you would like an explanation,” Eddie starts. “I’m sure by now you’ve all seen the photos and the videos, and well, we are here to apologize… sort of.” There’s a shit eating grin on his face, that makes it clear that he’s not really sorry about anything.

“I have been in a relationship for many years with my partner, but what you all didn’t know is that my partner is eddie.”

“Yeah, a lot of you thought he had a girlfriend, which was very heteronormative of you.”

“Don’t mock the fans, I’m bi, I could have had a girlfriend.”

“Well you’re stuck with me now.”

“Yeah I am.”

Robin gags at them from behind the camera, “God, now that the cat’s out of the bag, you two are gonna be so much worse.”

Turns out they were keeping their relationship a secret because they wanted their channel to be about the work they were doing, not the fact that they were in a relationship, they also didn't want their relationship to become part of their job.

And, honestly after this reveal, the content doesn't change, they keep lightly flirting on screen, Steve just names Eddie now when he’s talking about his partner, they get married, and continue working together with their best friends.

And when they finally get married, they only release a 10 minute or so video of the day, because their relationship is still just theirs. They even have a child a few years down the road, and while they do post about the new addition to their family, they never reveal their kids name or gender, or even how their child came to be.

They attempted 1 singular video with their new kid and the numbers on the video freaked Steve out so much they scrubbed it from their channel and said, “Never again.”

Steve does make a lot of dad content though, he loves talking about being a dad and how much he loves his child and how much he loves Eddie and being on this journey with him.

It surprises literally no one when soon after they had their second child, the Try Babes create a nonprofit advocating for children in family channel vlogs.

Howdy there! Welcome to the Slenderverse Riptide au. For those from the Daily Jay you might’ve seen mod Kian make a few art posts about it. The mod is a collaboration between me and Kian and I’ll be providing a little bit of context into what the au is!

Much of this au takes inspiration primarily from Marble Hornets, but also some bits from Every Man Hybrid. This post is an overview of what the characters are in this au and what the general idea is. If people were genuinely interested I would be happy to dip my hands into an actual story and more art from me to go with it. :]

Overview:

Set with the crew of Riptide in a regular world, three college kids create a youtube channel where they post random mixed content varying of the style of pranks, vlogs, and other little videos. Creator of the channel Chip is joined by his two friends Jay and Gillion as they set to create content they enjoy alongside friends and occasionally some family.

Their usually fun content shifts however, with a figure appearing in the back and some characters experiencing odd happenings. It doesn’t help old mysteries arise and new ones constantly fight against the three friends.

Despite it all the camera stays rolling. It can never be turned off. Who knows what could go undocumented.

Character descriptions:

Jay Ferin:

(Based on Jay Merrick and a little bit of Tim Wright from Marble Hornets.)

A twenty-one year old mechanical engineer student pressured for her choices by most of her family, Jay Ferin is the Riptide Youtube channel certified camera holder and editor. Having the steadiest hand among the group she’s usually the one standing behind the camera just so the other two don’t drop it. This makes her the primary character the viewers follow, but not every time is it her.

In general Jay handles most of their technological related projects and is almost always the editor of their videos. A skill she’s been building on since she was little and hopes to pursue more.

Jay is from the Ferin family, a rather well known family in the town of Featherbrook. The Ferin’s aren’t only known by name, they are also known for the unsolved mystery of the disappearance of Ava Ferin, Jay’s older sister, and the whispered disappearance of Drey Ferin many years ago. There have been times Jay has wanted answers for her sisters disappearance but she’s never been able to figure out where to start…

Since she was a child her best friend has been Kira who grew up close by. After the disappearance of her sister, Kira moved away and the two lost contact.

Although Jay is the cameraman of the group she later requests they don’t keep the camera on in showing sensitive information and personal moments. It’s both in respect to her and others who appear on the channel. This, however, does not turn the camera off.

Chip

(Based on Jay Merrick from Marble Hornets and Vinny from Every Man Hybrid)

Chip is a nineteen year old film student who intends to make it big one day starting with the totally hit and awesome youtube channel called Riptide. He is also the primary holder of the YouTube account and writes most of their planned script videos.

Having been orphaned most of his life Chip has gained quite the skill in thievery, in fact, their camera is stolen. He’s also good at lock picking and cheating on the occasional test. It’s a skill that helps save a little extra occasionally, but might just save his life.

One of his previous caretakers, Arlin James, went missing years ago in a never solved case. Chip secretly believes Arlin is out there, he just needs to be found. It’s the reason Chip is ever so slightly drawn into investigating Kuba Kenta.

It’s his belief that the camera must document everything that happens to them, even if maybe it would be best to turn it off. He’s the one, even when Jay leaves temporarily and refuses to record, Chip continues to record their findings. Investigating the unknown may just be the answer to finding the closest person he had to a father figure.

Other than that Chip has no family besides the closest being an adopted sister named Lizzie. The contact is off and on, and in recent times Chip hasn’t seen her in a while. If she comes back though she may make a great guest to the channel.

Gillion Tidestrider

(Based on Tim Wright and a mix of Every Man Hybrid characters) (warning of hospital mentions nothing in depth)

Gillion Tidestrider is newer to the town of Canella looking at his major options in college. Having lived a more isolated childhood he’s a little awkward around his peers but settles in with Chip and Jay.

Being more built out of the group he often helps with lugging around equipment. Gillion is also better known for being the improv of the group unintentionally.

Gillion’s childhood was one spent in and out of children’s hospitals. A lot of it is blocked from his memory, not until the figures in the woods begin to show up again.

Later in the story Gillion experiences something similar to Tim Wright with Masky, as a figure with a fish mask appears in some videos with Gillion not present. This figure is nicknamed Champion until later discovered its Gillion. Gillion himself is completely unaware of the things he does as Champion.

He doesn’t live by himself, living with his older sister Edyn. Much like the other two he shares a missing relative, his grandfather Finn. His memories of Finn aren’t much but sometimes he’s curious how they would have gotten along.

Kuba Kenta:

(Slenderman / the operator)(Mention of hallucinations without detail)

A strange figure in the background of the videos, complete with backwards hands, causes hallucinations and technology glitches. Kuba Kenta is this universes Slenderman, haunting behind the scenes. Nobody can get close enough to figure out what it is.

While Kuba Kenta is an antagonistic figure he is not the main threat the characters face. It just so happens he lends a hand in that and sets multiple things into motion. The characters believe that he is the reason for their suffering, and seek to find ways to terminate him.

Who knew all it took was setting the damned camera down and leaving things as they were?

Kira, Lizzie, Alphonse, Gryffon, Ava, Edyn, May and Jayson Ferin, Niklaus Hendrix.

Minor characters/in the works:

Ollie, Queen, Ensa, Earl

Anyone not mentioned has no specific place yet and may be added as the au becomes more rounded out.

Annnd that’s the main au! There are plenty of unfinished and extra bits. Mainly just wanted to cover the main characters plus Kuba Kenta himself. Like most Slenderverse stories if this were to become a full fleshed plot line would be more focused on the humanity of the characters versus Kuba himself.

Beloved YouTuber Ben Potter, known as Comicstorian online, has died in an “unfortunate accident.”

He was 40 years old.

“Two days ago, on June 8th, my husband, Ben Potter, passed away in an unfortunate accident,” his wife, Nathalie Potter, posted on his X account Monday.

“To many of you, he was Comicstorian, voicing stories from across multiple different mediums. To his loved ones, he was one of the best and most supportive individuals anyone could ask for,” the grieving widow wrote to his fans.

Nathalie explained how her husband was the “rock” of their family off camera, and he always did “his best to make everyone laugh and make sure they were okay.

“As a husband, a son, a brother, a friend, or even just a stranger, Ben was loving and genuine. He was someone who would listen and make time for his loved ones,” she wrote.

“His channel was one of his greatest accomplishments, and while we all need our time to mourn him, I know he wouldn’t want it to end like this.”

Potter’s wife shared that she and his team plan to keep his channel going to “honor him by continuing to tell great stories by great people, as well as to keep the memory of our very own superhero alive.”

His opinions and insight on comics and gaming made him a beloved figure online, with many of his fans expressing their sadness at the news of his death.

The self-proclaimed comic nerd also shared videos on the channel expressing his opinions, reviews, and close analyses of various comic books and superhero products, most notably those from Marvel and DC films.

“He did so much for so many. I am absolutely gutted to hear this. Rest in peace, Ben,” one fan commented under Nathalie’s post.

“I’m sorry for your loss. Ben was a huge inspiration to me. This is truly heartbreaking,” another shared.

“My heart completely sank reading this, oh my god… I’m extremely sorry for your loss, Nathalie. Ben’s name rung so many bells in the comic book community & is a main reason why so many of us are involved with characters the way we are today. May his soul Rest in Peace,” wrote another fan.

Potter’s final video, “Why DC’s Reboots Beat Marvel,” was posted on June 7 — a day before his death — and has already gained over 160,000 views and over 7,000 comments.

Many have continued to express their condolences and write heartfelt messages about why they were fans in the comment section of his final video.

Awww, it's so cute to hear Keiko whisper and laugh on the side even though we don't see her for most of the video. For anyone who is interested, they had coffee at Antico Caffé (Roppongi Hills). There's a little Q&A corner with Hikaru. Favourite hiragana? Her favourite hiragana are the cute looking ones like "no" and "a" because they have a round shape. What are her conversations about? Most of her conversations are just idle talk and updates on recent events. Keiko asks about their conversations together. Hikaru says that recently they have been seeing each other a lot (at least it seems like a lot to Hikaru), not like every week but whenever their schedules allow it. They have mostly been talking about things that happened at work and random private stuff, general girl topics. Hikaru mostly enjoys listening to other people talk. Reason that has kept her motivated to continue singing? Singing is her way of communication so it's very important to her. If she were to give someone a piece of clothing as present, what would it be? Hikaru feels pressured to answer this since she has such a fashionable person sitting next to her. She thinks it's best to go shopping together and let the other person pick something they like. If you know that person has a favourite brand or style, you could probably find something yourself but it's probably better to go together. Is there anything Anything she can to do now as solo artist which she wasn't allowed to do before? She can do social media now which is something they weren't really able to do before. If you were reborn, what kind of person would you want to be and which world would you like to be born into? She would like to live in a world full of magic, she wants to use magic and do stuff that she can't do in her current life. She would love to have some sort of healing power. Recent daily routine? Wake up, drink water, take supplements, brush teeth, wash face, do make-up, change into an outfit, go to the studio to sing, when she is at home she works on her iPad, edit videos, she doesn't really eat breakfast but she eats whenever her family decides to eat (she still lives with her family). Does she go to karaoke by herself? Yes, she does but not that often. But she prefers to sing at the studio.

Sara Chidouin - She posts vlogs with her friends. She doesn't want/expect them to do any numbers, she just wants to document the good times spent with people she cares about.

Joe Tazuna - Joe seems like the type to film random clips of his day and then upload them to YouTube because...why not? It's not always interesting stuff either, it's mostly just ten seconds of a cool park he found or a cute dog he saw.

Gin Ibushi - I mostly think his channel would be talking about how awesome the Mew-Chan brand of stuffed animals are or giving out real animal facts.

Keiji Shinogi - I feel like Keiji would give advice on how to avoid legal trouble with police.

Alice Yabusame - Alice worked as manger for Reko's band so I feel like if he had a YouTube he would just promote the stuff she made. But pre death game wise I could see him making fashion content as he's shown in island mode and his cell flashback to have a fondness for it. Though I could see him using so many stripes and gaudy outfits that people begin to think it's a parody.

Reko Yabusame - I think she'd post a lot of her music and covers. Sometimes she's answer comments from fans.

Nao Egokoro - Nao posts a lot of videos about paintings. From analyzing their meanings to showing different techniques and ranking their difficulty.

Kazumi Mishima - I feel like Mishima would start by teaching school lessons, but then he would end up being more well known for answering questions in his comments in an insightful way. Before long he'd be known more as the question guy then the teacher guy.

Q-taro Burgerberg - He mostly posts the best of his sports reels in hope a major management company will see them. But instead he gets well know for a video of him and his baseball buddies running around intoxicated.

Kai Satou - Is there any doubt that he would post cooking content? I also think he'd make the occasional video about maintaining a home and advice on how to do chores.

Kanna Kizuchi - Her YouTube would be borderline a family channel. She films her sisters and parents going about their day to day and their interactions.

Shin Tsukimi - My gut instinct was he would download video's that seemed like they were going to be taken down and repost them. (EX: Bad Youtuber apologies, videos that contain copywrited material, a video where someone says something they should.) and he would 100% do this for monetary gain.

Dolls

Ranmaru Kageyama - I feel like he just rambles to himself and then posts it because he assumes no one will see it. And he's right in his case.

Naomichi Kurumada - He gives workout advice.

Anzu Kinashi - Slime videos.

Mai Tsurugi - I feel like she mostly posts baking vides, and then one day she posts a knife throwing tutorial that goes mega virial because of the contrast against her normal content.

Shunsuke Hayasaka - I can't see him wanting a YouTube channel but he does show up in Gin's videos a lot. He's always so very awkward.

Hinako Mishuku - She makes what looks like normal videos that have jump scares randomly in the middle.
