Forget your sugary delights and decadent truffles, for I have a love affair with a far more wholesome and, dare I say, superior treat: the humble plate of white rice.
Now, before you raise an eyebrow, let me preface this by admitting that Chocolate and I are not friends, honourable members of the jury.

Cinnamon, sugar, and ten minutes in the oven to turn pie crust scraps into cookies that everyone likes better than the mini-quiches you spent hours on.
Aeration… air, worm holes, elimination of waste that is a benefit to the entire system. These piles of worm poo give me inspiration. They excite me to continue to create healthy soil. They encourage me to share with others the dimensional joy of observation. Nature is abundant and we are responsible to keep it that way.
This is so simple, a recipe hardly seems necessary, but on the other hand, perhaps this will remind you of this side dish, estimably suited for fall and winter when the cabbage and apples are the best sorts of things to store from harvest until wanted for the table.
Even if you aren’t a farmwife with a root cellar, cabbage is inexpensive enough, and this is an excellent recipe for that apple or…
idk but to me eating vegan can be simple. this is just butter beans with spinach and some stock with some crispy smashed roast potatoes and the meal was great :)
