So, I was watching Disney’s Robin Hood with my sister tonight.

But first, a little back story (just a little). When my sister and I were kids, Robin Hood was one of the movies we had on VHS. Our parents were divorced, and every other weekend, we went to our dad’s. On Friday night, we’d pop in our favorite pirated video tape, which had Robin Hood, Mary Poppins and Sleeping Beauty on it. Then, on Saturday morning (regardless of which house we were at), we’d get up and reenact the entire movie, word for word. To this day, we both have it memorized.

So anyway, I was watching Disney’s Robin Hood with my sister tonight, and there’s something I’ve always been aware of, but I said out loud. And once I said it, my sister became hyper aware of it. Now neither of us can unsee it, so I hope to make you unable to unsee it, too.

Sir Hiss has two tongues.

They never appear in his mouth at the same time, and the forked one only ever appears for the flickering action, but like... why didn’t they even make them the same color? If they were both red, or both that bluish-grey, I could at least tell myself that his tongue had to flex in order to go out that far, or something like that. I’d even be able to excuse the fact that one is rounded and one is forked.

But those are two entirely separate tongues, and now that I’ve put words to it, I can’t unsee it, and now that you’ve read this post, I hope you can’t either.

I'm sure, once he's done with the poor boy he'll run right back here and apologise- he really doesn't mean to be rude, you know!! He just forgets his head sometimes! They aren't great at it but they're trying XDD

Mickey asks Tinker Bell to find out what the secret ingredient in Goofy Stew is.

Then Tinkerbell secretly enters the kitchen and discovers Goofy preparing more stew in different pots With the magic wand

Suddenly, if Goofy realized it, he picks up Tinkerbell, mistaking it for an ingredient and is surprised, suddenly the dishes with Goofy's stew fly away

Goofy's plates fly but he spills them on some customers, making them dirty

Hades luckily protected himself with his umbrella

I think Tinkerbell's pixie dust not only makes people fly but also objects

I not too long ago rewatched the jungle book, and it sparked a fuckin wild fire of hyperfixation on it 😭😭 I’ve watched 2 other shows and my mind is still on jungle book. Specifically Kaa, idk what it is but I’m hooked on that goofy snake. I’ve watched all jungle book movies and even bought the jungle cube series just to see more of him.

But I’ve also re watched Robin Hood with my partner, and now I’m realizing I seem to really love silly hypno snakes who have a friendly/threatening relationship with big cats who have lots of power, who also get abused by said cats. I’ve been hooked on both sir hiss and kaa, I have lore and angst and head canons in my mind for them. But for now
