Hey so I wanna say something for people out there struggling with this. I am very much including myself as I still find myself doing this...
So sizing in clothing is stupid and random. I literally have clothes that span from size medium to XXL. Please remember the size you wear says nothing about your body shape or you level of attractiveness. The most important thing is to get clothing that fits your body the best. This will not only make it look so much better on you but hopefully will help make you feel comfortable in it too. As a trans person who is often buying fem clothing now I sometimes find I have to buy something in XXL sizes. And yeah sometimes this upsets me. We get bombarded with media venerating small petite women. But guess what you are fucking gorgeous. And also being in queer spaces is so refreshing seeing how much we adore and praise the diversity and beauty in body shape and size. The human form is fucking amazing. Just remember the label on your clothing says nothing about you. You are fucking beautiful!!!
#hope this helps#ordered some new clothes the other day and went up a size#clothing#clothes#sizing#transgirl#trans#transgender#enby#comfort#body image#fox talks

I was kind of confused by your size chart. Several of the sizes have a range that would fit me.
What size should I go for with the joggers? In normal pants, I'm approximately 42" 32". 5'8 in height and 211lb.
Yeah there's overlap because of stretchiness and elastic/drawstring waistbands. It can get confusing when you're really in the overlap zone.
For joggers, what I can tell you is your measurements are conveniently nearly exactly the same as my partner's! He's also 5'8" and has worn size LG-XL very comfortably over weight fluctuations between 225-210lbs. LG-XL would definitely be my recommendation for you too 😊
(caveat: if you have very wide hips/thighs or would prefer the pant legs to be very baggy, you could size up to 2X-3X. For anyone that ever wants a loose fit with our joggers you can always size up as much as you want because the drawstring will hold the joggers up no matter how oversized they are. But for a "regular" type fit I think LG-XL would work best)

Spacing and Sizing in Web Design 📐✨
Understanding spacing and sizing is crucial for creating an intuitive and visually appealing web design. Let’s break it down!
1. What is Spacing?
Margin: The space outside an element. It controls how far apart elements are from each other.
Padding: The space inside an element. It affects the space between the content and the element’s border.
2. Why is Spacing Important?
Readability: Adequate spacing improves text readability and overall user experience.
Hierarchy: Proper spacing can help establish a visual hierarchy, guiding users’ attention to important elements.
Aesthetics: Well-spaced designs look cleaner and more professional.
3. Sizing Elements
Fixed Sizes: Set dimensions that won’t change regardless of the viewport (e.g., width: 200px;).
Fluid Sizes: Use percentages or viewport units (e.g., width: 50%;) for a responsive design that adapts to different screen sizes.
Responsive Design: Combine fixed and fluid sizing with media queries to ensure elements resize appropriately on various devices.
4. The Role of Interior Spacing
Example: Buttons: The size of a button is influenced by both its width/height and its padding. A button with too little padding may look cramped, while excessive padding can make it appear too large.
5. Best Practices for Spacing and Sizing
Consistent Units: Use consistent units (like rem or em) to maintain scalability across your design.
Grid Systems: Implement a grid layout for balanced spacing and sizing, making the design more predictable and user-friendly.
Whitespace: Don’t underestimate the power of whitespace; it enhances focus and reduces clutter.
6. Testing and Iteration
Regularly test your designs on various devices to ensure spacing and sizing work well in all contexts.
Gather feedback from users to identify areas needing adjustments.
Quick Tips:
Aim for a harmonious balance between spacing and sizing.
Use design tools or frameworks that offer predefined spacing/sizing options.
Be mindful of touch targets; ensure buttons and links are large enough for easy interaction.
Mastering spacing and sizing will elevate your web design, making it more functional and visually appealing! 🌟

Clothing choices can be limited sometimes, even more so when you try to buy something with real pockets when you're a woman.

Vanity sizing

Diesel Fall/Winter 2022
Vanity sizing is when clothing brands purposely size their clothing to be bigger than the labelled size. Often this is done so that customers feel better about themselves when trying on that brands clothing, and so are more likely to shop there again. However this has made it extremely difficult to shop without trying clothes on before hand. Consequently making online shopping near impossible. The current climate of fashion is one where one size fits no one.
Since the 1950s, clothing sizes have grown exponentially. What was once a size 14 in 1958 would be a modern day UK size 6, or American size 2, which are usually the smallest sizes available in store. Diesel, one of fashions biggest names, is of the worst for vanity sizing. A labelled 34” waistline at Diesel was measured to actually be 37”. Diesel isn’t the only brand that does this, other huge fashion brands such as Zara, H&M, Levi’s, and Calvin Klein are all guilty of vanity sizing.
Cloth sizing follows the shifts in weight in society, so as the population averages bigger weights, so will clothing adjust to fit the most people. But lying about sizing benefits no one, except the companies profiting.

Clothing Sizes Rant
I've ranted a lot about this to my irl friends but I just saw a post that reminded me of it and I feel the need to talk about it again, but online this time.
When I go shopping I'm usually a small/petite because I'm short and an objectively smaller person. What really makes me annoyed is when they have an xxl or a 3xl but no xxs. I think 3xs is probably way too small for most adult sized people to get into so they probably wouldn't sell them. I understand that larger sized people have struggled with finding clothes for them and big respect to companies who are finally listening to them and making sizes to include them. It's just so annoying sometimes when I find a cute shirt and the xs is still too big and there is no xxs, which Ik would be a size 0 but I'm not a size 0 and still sometimes have problems with xs so Idk what size size 0 would be, but there are xxl and sometimes even 3xl available. Like, how are you going to say you're being inclusive but not even have an equal amount of sizes for people on both ends of the size spectrum? It's not that big of a problem but I just really don't understand it.
Once again, I'm not trying to insult bigger sized people by saying they don't deserve more sizes, because they definitely do, it's just annoying when brands say they are inclusive and then don't include as many size options for smaller people as they do bigger people. If this offends people though I will definitely take it down because that isn't my intention, so please let me know if it does!

Compiled some basic information I know about drawing fat characters for beginners since I've been seeing more talk about absence of really basic traits in a lot of art lately.

I have a question about your jogger sizing: In the pictures, it looks like they’re a pretty tight fit. If I like baggier joggers, would you recommend sizing up? Or would that make them more likely to be too loose in the waist?
I have big thighs/hips so the SM-MD look pretty snug on me (almost all the shop pics are of me), but I just prefer that fit and wearing them high waisted. If you want a looser fit you can definitely size up and/or wear them low waisted! You can pretty much size up as much as you want because they have a drawstring and ankle cuffs.
Here's some pics of my smaller-than-me brother wearing oversized joggers (I believe they were a 2X-3X):

And here's him wearing a SM-MD, low waisted. He's also got thinner legs & much smaller hips than I do:

I hope that helps some!!
