Skin care pharmaceutical companies
Skin care pharmaceutical companies are an important aspect of the beauty and skincare industry. These companies are dedicated to developing and manufacturing products that help consumers achieve healthy and beautiful skin. In this blog, we will discuss the role of skin care pharmaceutical companies and their importance in the skincare industry.
Skin care pharmaceutical companies are responsible for researching and developing skincare products that can effectively treat various skin conditions. These companies invest heavily in research and development to create innovative skincare products that are safe and effective for use. Their products are designed to treat a wide range of skin problems, including acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, and aging skin.
One of the main reasons why skin care pharmaceutical companies are important is that they have the expertise and resources to conduct extensive clinical trials and studies to ensure the safety and efficacy of their products. These studies help to establish the effectiveness of new skincare products, and they are also used to obtain regulatory approval from the authorities.
Another reason why skin care pharmaceutical companies are important is that they are dedicated to using high-quality ingredients that are clinically proven to be safe and effective. Many of these companies use natural ingredients in their products, such as plant extracts, vitamins, and minerals, to help nourish and protect the skin.
Skin care pharmaceutical companies also play an important role in educating consumers about proper skin care. They provide information on the best skincare practices, including how to care for different skin types, the importance of sun protection, and how to prevent and treat common skin problems.
In addition to developing skincare products, skin care pharmaceutical companies also provide support to healthcare professionals. They provide training and education programs to dermatologists, estheticians, and other skincare professionals, which helps to ensure that they are up-to-date on the latest skincare products and treatments.
In conclusion, skin care pharmaceutical companies are essential in the skincare industry. Their products are designed to treat a wide range of skin conditions, and they invest heavily in research and development to ensure the safety and efficacy of their products. These companies also play an important role in educating consumers and healthcare professionals about proper skin care, making them a valuable resource for anyone who wants to achieve healthy and beautiful skin.

A note for the fellow strugglers in TS1
Hey, it's Seth! I know how frustrating TS1 can be (considering it's age and being the first game in the franchise), so I am here to introduce a list of personal must have mods and programs, which I always use whenever I re-install the game to make it more user-friendly. The list itself is quite short, actually, since it only consists of my personal gameplay choice mods. So there's no building objects, deco, skins and heads there.
Tumblr media
MODS AND CC
This calendar will report the day of the month to your sims and -- and this is amazing -- even introduce a concept of days off. Sims should have about every 6th and 7th day off. - THE ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE. It's in the painting section and costs 15 simoleons. Works a bit wonky with children, but otherwise a very useful mod to have.
Call work/give interview job phone plugins to give your sim a day off. - I use those mostly when sims have to take care of the baby.
A family mod by Gothi_family_4ever. - another must have in my collection, introduces the familial relationships in game! No more inappropriate relationships between relatives. It's a 0 simoleon painting, which you can delete once you've done.
A hacked frigde mod by the same author. - allows your sims to put their food into the refrigirator, call the household members for the meal, and requires the usage of products (like meat and in-game vegetables) in order to cook a dish instead of insta-paying. You kinda have to build a grocery shop for your sims, so they could buy the required products, I prefer to install the stalls into the pre-existing farm shop in Old Town area. P.S DON'T FORGET TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE INSTALLING BEFORE DRAGGING ANY FILE. As much as I love this mod, I don't, for example, use their cereal add-on.
The Elixir ExpressiBuy Computer. - a computer that allows you to buy any in-game buyable product (like vacation gifts, grocery, tonics, etc etc) in stock. They won't magically appear overnight but would be brought by a special courier npc. It also allows your sim to research logic, creativity, culinary and mechanical skills. I'd also recommend diving further into their site, since they have a lot of cool and unique gameplay content as well!
MagiCo's Bookshelf of Dimensional Storage - the official Maxis item, that was in the 'Get Cool Stuff' section. Allows your sims to keep their magic coins and ingrediends in special bookshelf storage, I mostly use it so the kids could get the ingredients for their spells from the adults. It is in the Magic section, btw
The Magic Mirror - the only outright cheat object that I have in my possesion. This mirror refreshes your sims needs, builds skills, friends, stardom, etc. Saves headaches when you are not in the mood to fullfill your sims' mood, ha-ha.
PROGRAMS
SimEnchancer 3D - basically a program that allows you to change the basic sim's attributes, including their heads and bodytypes. If you are familiar with TS2's SimPE, you'd have the idea how it works. NOTE: if you have to run your TS1 game as an administrator, you'd have to open it up in the same vein as well. And don't forget to backup your UserData files when you are working with it, just in case!
The Sims Creator - the official Maxis program for players to create some basic skins content. The program is only suitable to work with head and skins textures and not the meshes! Likewise, if you have to open the game as an administrator, you'd have to do the same with that program.
NEIGHBORHOODS
This section for the fellow premade enjoyers out there, who mostly played TS2 before and decided to give the local premades a chance as well
Here you can download the original UserData 1 and 2 if you want to reset your neigborhoods as they were if you had already played the neighborhood before and want to start anew. The Sims Wiki also gives you an instruction for how to do so.
And here you can download the additional Maxis families like The Hatfield, The Maximus, The Mashuga, The Snooty, The Jones and that weird agent White House familes. For some reasons, some of them refused to function in my game, so I had to install the empty houses and recreate them by hand, using the SimEnchancer and Wikia to give them appropriate skills and careers.
OTHER
Sims 1 Alternative UI - refreshes your game by a margin. I really recomend this one!
Well, that's basically it! I hope, my list would help you as well!

How do preorder numbers affect your side of production? I’ve seen people saying that high preordering numbers lead to less time/budget to make the next game, because higher ups see it as proof that a studio/series can ride on name recognition instead of quality; is that true to your experience? In general, for a given game you worked on, would you prefer that people preordered or waited to day 1 purchase? Or does it not make a meaningful difference either way? Thanks!
Tumblr media
Up until around 2014, preorder numbers were strongly correlated with financial success. They were used as the main metric for determining an upcoming game's chance of hitting its goals. Unfortunately, this caused a common feedback cycle problem with key performance indicators - the more you optimize for the metric itself, the less that metric continues to correlate to what you actually want to know. Publishers and retailers pushed various tactics to pressure customers to preorder, which did result in more preorders. However, the artificially-juiced preorder numbers didn't correlate as strongly with the success of the games. As lifestyle games grew into the biggest chunk of the market, preorder importance fell even more because it was the lifestyle game populations that were most strongly correlated with financial success.
Tumblr media
The quality element you mention has nothing to do with preorders. Most games have two to four years of total development time before they ship. Preorders for those games often aren't available until a few months before the release date. By the time the preorders numbers actually come in, we're nearly finished with the development process. The timing doesn't line up at all, there is no way we can cheap out on quality in the last few months of development when the majority of that work is already complete.
Tumblr media
As for whether I think players should preorder... I'll tell you what I do personally when it comes to purchasing games. I don't care much for preorder bonuses in general - they are almost always very small and won't affect the overall gameplay in any significant way. Preorder bonuses are generally limited to cosmetics at best, and the gameplay itself matters much more to me than having a particular outfit or weapon skin. There are some games I will preorder because I really like the game or franchise and I am concerned that the publisher has limited print runs of that game (Atlus, for example, is famous for having small print runs). Aside from that, I usually wait to see how the game does at launch before buying in. I don't feel much pressure to get in on day 1. Waiting a week or two won't kill me, and I've got plenty of other games to play and things to do in the meantime.

@/welovemonstergirls asked: Can I see hcs for Whitney, Candice, Hilda, Sabrina, Elesa and Skyla with an adopted child that was previously abused? The child is quiet, shy and fearful and is prone to crying and nightmares.
Franchise: Pokémon
Genre: General headcanons; angst; hurt to comfort; familial
Trigger warnings: PTSD mention
A/n: Ah, my first angsty ask. Poor little thing, I'll make sure these girls take good care of them, don't you worry!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
❀ Sabrina
Sabrina hasn't been around kids since she herself was one; the only time she interacts with them is if a gym challenger just happens to be a kid. So to say that she's inexperienced with children is an understatement. But she's a kind woman with a big heart, and has absolutely zero tolerance for child abuse (well, game Sabrina anyways). Seeing the awful state that the child was in, she took them under her wing immediately and vowed to give them a second chance at living a happy life.
Despite her cold and aloof exterior, Sabrina is actually pretty laid back and chill. She won't be particularly strict or overprotective, but she won't just throw the child to the wolves either. As soon as the adjustment period is over, she'd gift them an Eevee and task them with evolving it into an Espeon, though that's not to say she'd be disappointed if it accidentally evolves into an Umbreon or Sylveon, she'd just be proud to see her child's growth as a trainer and person. Having a partner Pokémon that's a psychic type would not only serve as a protector, but if the child has a panic attack, the Pokémon's psychic abilities could help calm them down.
Speaking of which, panic attacks and nightmares become a non issue. With Sabrina and her Pokémon's psychic abilities, the child could be hypnotized into falling peacefully asleep or winding down from a PTSD episode. She'd be careful not to overuse them, as she knows that she can't always be there to help the child, so she would research and teach them some healthy coping mechanisms which range from the more normal tricks like taking 10 deep breaths or squeezing a stress ball, to more outlandish things like biting into a lemon. Not particularly elegant, but if it works, it works.
Sabrina would love doing activities with the child. Once she reached adulthood, she realized just how much she genuinely enjoys spending time with other people, and her favorite person to be with, of course, would be her own child. She'd like to read to them before bed, do puzzles with them, bake with them, or just sit together while they each did their own thing.
There's a chance that being around Sabrina and her Pokémon constantly would lead to the child developing their own psychic powers. In that case, Sabrina would be an excellent teacher. Whether it be teaching them to have a better grip on their telekinesis, clearer telepathic communication skills, or making sense of their visions, Sabrina would be there to guide them every step of the way.

Tumblr media
❀ Whitney
Whitney is... Well, a bit of a mess. I can see her being a great babysitter or older sister figure, but being a child's primary caregiver? Let's just say not a lot of "parenting" will be happening. Whitney is spontaneous and energetic, and that's reflected in the way she takes care of her child. She takes the child with her everywhere, and I mean everywhere. To the gym, the baseball field, the mall, the beach, to run errands, to hang out with friends. Whitney loves them to the moon and back, but she'd end up treating them more like an accessory than a human at times.
Whitney would make absolute certain that the child will always look and feel their very best. Lots of cute clothes and accessories, the best skin and hair care products on the market, and a lifetime membership to whatever the Pokémon equivalent of the YMCA is. Of course, all of those burnt calories are nullified by the amount of sweets Whitney shoves down their throat. She likes to spoil and be spoiled. What can she say?
Whitney is prone to crying and, well, tantrums. She's a very emotional person in general, so if the child is upset and crying, she ends up crying too. Whitney tries to keep herself together for their sake, she really does, but seeing her little angel break down tears her heart to pieces. She'll panic, which sometimes makes things worse, but she'll do absolutely whatever she physically can to calm them (both) down and make them happy again. In the end, Whitney figures out a routine and is able to calm them down quicker whilst also keeping her cool. Maybe she's not so bad at this whole parent thing after all.
Very protective of them. They're her little baby, why wouldn't she be? If Whitney spots anyone being mean to her kid, cute little immature Whitney vanishes and she goes full mama bear. And if God forbid a person or Pokémon tries to physically threaten them? They get a taste of Miltank's most powerful Rollout. She can come across at times like a helicopter parent. It's not that she doesn't trust the child, it's that she's genuinely interested in their life and wants to be able to connect with them. Friends, hobbies, likes and dislikes, she wants to know it all. Helps with picking out birthday gifts, too!
*•.¸❀
Tumblr media
❀ Candice
10/10 soccer mom. Probably the most experienced (and most normal) caregiver on this list, though Skyla would be a close second. Anyway, Candice takes her role as a parent very seriously. She'd buy several books on parenting and even take a few parenting classes. She wants her child to have the best life they possibly can.
Candice wants her child to live and grow from their experiences. She's not the type to throw them out of the nest and leave them to their own devices, of course, but she'd try to teach them independence to the best of her abilities. This is a little easier said than done at the start considering the child's background, but Candice is willing to put in the work to help them thrive.
Snow hikes, ice skating, sledding, Candice would make sure that the child stays active and healthy. She'd make sure they were the only ones around if the child was too anxious to be around other people. Afterwards, she'd treat them to a nice big mug of hot cocoa.
I can see her homeschooling the child for the first year or two after the adoption, to help them adjust before throwing them into another unfamiliar situation. You'd think that she'd be running short on time thanks to her juggling her job as a gym leader, her social life, hobbies and now a child, but somehow she manages. Candice is pretty intelligent, so educating the child wouldn't be too big of a challenge. Additionally, she'd enroll them in any extracurricular activity they show interest in so they'd get some social interaction, though she'd try to find groups that were a bit on the smaller side at first to avoid them becoming stressed out.
Walkie-talkies would be kept on Candice's and the child's nightstands in case they're woken up from nightmares or have an anxiety attack and need comfort. Candice can wake up in an instant, so it's no bother to her. She'll stay up as long as they need, talking to them, listening to them ramble, or telling them stories. She wants them to know that they can rely on her, and that she'd never find them annoying or a burden.
*•.¸❀
Tumblr media
❀ Elesa
Elesa has virtually zero experience with children, but not because she dislikes them. She likes kids, thinks they're fun. I picture her as somewhat of a vodka aunt. Always showering her child with gifts and trying to prioritize being cool and fun so they don't find her annoying.
To expand on that last part, Elesa is rich, that goes without saying. She could afford practically anything the kid wanted. They want these specific snacks from Johto? Elesa will buy them a month's supply. They're too anxious to play outside with the other kids? Elesa hired the best architects in the region to build them an indoor jungle gym. Not to mention that she made sure to hire a great therapist to help the child through their trauma.
Unfortunately due to both of Elesa's jobs being extremely demanding and time consuming, she's rarely ever home. She hates this knowing how upset the child gets when she's not around. To at least attempt to remedy this, once she's on break she will immediately start a video call with them to check in. She would also make sure they were surrounded with stuff to keep them busy, whether it be toys, games, books, movies or Pokémon to keep them company.
Elesa doesn't mind being woken up in the middle of the night from nightmares, as she's used to functioning on little sleep anyway. She'll invite them into her bed with her and lay their head on her chest, ask them to tell her about their nightmare as she gently runs her fingers through their hair to calm them down. Being a model is a stressful job, with having to deal with everyone's expectations of her to be perfect, so she understands stress and anxiety. If the child is too nervous to sleep alone, Elesa will wrap them in the softest blanket she has and let them cling to her arm for the rest of the night.
Elesa is very gentle and patient with them, especially at first, but she isn't going to let the child continue to live in fear for the rest of their life. She won't push them beyond their limits, but in the rare moments when she has some time to spare, she'll take them out on walks or to visit the amusement park. The world is so beautiful and has so much to offer, and she wants her child to be able to experience all of the wonder and good the world has to offer. Like previously mentioned, Elesa hired a therapist for them, and is also willing to do everything she can to help them heal.
*•.¸❀
Tumblr media
❀ Skyla
Second best parent on the list. Incredibly bright and optimistic, Skyla can rather effortlessly turn anyone's negative mood into a positive one. Though the child's case is a little more than a "bad mood," Skyla is patient enough to take any issue that arises head on and with the utmost care. She's always liked kids, always treated them with kindness and respect, never talking down to them or belittling them because of their age. Children are humans too, just because they're young and still learning does not mean that they are stupid or that their feelings don't matter, Skyla believes this wholeheartedly.
The child is on a set schedule that prioritizes both health and fun. Early mornings with breakfasts that contain lots of fruit, then afterwards a morning ride in Skyla's airplane. Most of their time during the day is spent either outside or in the gym. Fresh air is good for the mind and body, and so is being around Pokémon! That's what Skyla thinks at least. Of course, if it all gets too overwhelming, Skyla will take the child to the gym's break room for a little recuperation. In the evening, the child is free to do whatever they please - within reason, of course. Skyla always makes sure to be nearby in case she's needed, but learning some independence early on never hurts.
Skyla spends a lot of time with her friends. She's a social butterfly, and maintaining her friendships is very important to her. She wants the child to have that kind of experience as well, so she'd encourage them to join clubs or attend camps. Sometimes, she'd bring them along on shopping dates with Elesa and Caitlin, who were both completely on board with taking the child to as many clothing stores as possible to play dress up. Not only does the child have a caring mother, but two aunts who love to spoil them.
Also gets the child in therapy immediately. Skyla's smart, but she's no professional when it comes to children's mental health, and she knows this. She wants her baby to be healthy and happy, after all. Whenever they have a panic attack, Skyla makes sure to remain as calm as possible, and carefully walk them through it. Do they need water? Do they need to go somewhere quieter? Do they want a hug? No matter how they respond, Skyla stays gentle with them. It's not their fault that they feel this way, or that the adults around them failed them. Skyla's heart aches for the poor thing, and she'll do whatever she can to help them recover from their trauma.
*•.¸❀
Tumblr media
❀ Hilda
I wouldn't exactly call Hilda "motherly," but I'd say that "sisterly" would be an apt description. She's... well, a bit of a meathead. Her fiery personality can leave people a little winded after meeting her, especially if they aren't as passionate about battling as she is. Despite how seemingly one track minded she is, I firmly believe that she would take on the role of a caretaker instantly if a child needed her help. She'd just be a little clumsy at first, but thankfully, she has friends like Hilbert, N (who would also be a bit clueless, but would try his best to help), Bianca and Cheren, ESPECIALLY Cheren.
As soon as they were old enough, Hilda would take them to Professor Juniper (or Bianca) to receive their partner Pokémon. As I said, Hilda is very passionate about battling, and would want to share her interests with the child. Even if they're not particularly interested in it, a Pokémon would still be able to protect them if the need arises.
Every weekend, Hilda would take them out to get Casteliacones. I mean, who doesn't like ice cream? It would be a good way to bond, while also gently reintroducing them to public spaces. If they were too shy and nervous to order themselves, Hilda would have no issue ordering for them. She hoped that her confidence would one day rub off on them, but until then, she didn't mind if they hid behind her. She promised to protect them no matter what, and she never goes back on her word.
I'm not gonna lie, I don't think Hilda would even notice the nightmares at first. Girl sleeps like a ROCK. She would one morning notice how groggy and sickly the child looked and would ask what was wrong. When they tell her that they had a nightmare and weren't able to wake her up, she'd feel terrible. After that, she'd ask every night if they wanted one of her Pokémon to snuggle with. Emboar was big, but very warm, Ursaring was also huge, but its fur was soft and you could also count on it to keep you safe, and Musharna would be able to keep the nightmares at bay.
Hilda wouldn't know how to respond to the anxiety attacks at first. Her knee-jerk reaction would be to hug them, but was later told by Cheren that that could make it worse by making them feel suffocated. Instead, she opted for sitting down next to them, letting them cry it out, and quietly telling them that everything was going to be okay, that she would always stay by their side. It's one of those rare moments where Hilda is softer and quieter. She loves this kid so much, and all she wants is to help them feel better. Normally she would rush into things without a second thought, but this isn't the sort of thing you can speedrun, and she knows that. This time, she'll be patient.

Pushing It (Boston Globe, 1 Feb 2009)
In Hollywood, where everybody grabs at success, Sudbury's Chris Evans has made it to a starring role in the new film 'Push' - and he doesn't mind saying what it took to get there
By Rebecca DiLiberto, Globe Correspondent / February 1, 2009
Tumblr media
LOS ANGELES - Meet Chris Evans: oversize hoodie, unassuming posture, well-washed chinos, freshly scrubbed skin, rosy cheeks, $10 haircut, willing to make eye contact with strangers. Hanging out over coffee at a suburban strip mall, you wouldn't figure him for a movie star.
That's exactly how the Sudbury native likes it.
"I think when I first came out here I was very hungry to get to the top," says the actor, who stars as a young telekenetic on the run from authorities in "Push," opening Friday. "Now I'm kind of at this middle road, and I'm looking around like, isn't life pretty much as great as I want it right now? If you get too far, there's no off switch. Once you're Brad Pitt, you can't not be Brad Pitt."
At 27, Chris Evans is the model of how to go from being a high school drama geek to claiming status as a successful working actor. While his career hasn't necessarily exploded yet, he's had a critically acclaimed turn as an astronaut-slash-engineer in Danny Boyle's "Sunshine," and a commercial windfall as the human torch in "Fantastic Four" franchise - notches on a resume that anyone aspiring to work in Holly wood would envy.
How did Evans get to here from there? At the beginning of his career, he paid his dues in some barely seen films.
"Luckily, my first couple of movies were really terrible," he says. "There was 'Not Another Teen Movie' not a blockbuster, and then 'The Perfect Score,' which was gone in a New York minute, and then I did a movie called 'Cellular,' which was gone, then 'Orphan King,' which never even made it to theaters.
"Your first movie, you think, 'This is it! Look out world!' And then you're like, 'Oh. . . back to the drawing board, I guess.' And then three or four times in you're like, 'All right no one sets out to make a bad movie, but there are a lot of them.' "
Evans is not one of those leading men whose ego you have to stroke. In fact, he won't let you. Complimented on his performance in "Sunshine," he credits director Boyle: "He could make this coffee cup give a brilliant performance." Congratulated on the natural relationship he shares with costar Dakota Fanning in "Push," he says, "Dakota is unbelievable. She could be acting with a sneaker."
While Evans and Fanning indeed demonstrate a real connection in "Push," the movie itself is a bit uneven, and Evans is the first to admit it. With compelling action sequences and charismatic actors, "Push" is a respectable popcorn flick, but its story has trouble hanging together.
In the film's own production notes, Evans is quoted as saying, "We're not sending any deep messages. This is a pure entertainment film, like a lot of my favorite movies."
While Evans is careful not to say anything specifically negative about "Push," his shrug and tone suggest that he's chalking this one up to experience. "This process was one where I had to learn a little bit. It was the first time I've ever worked on a movie where there was no rehearsal, and that just felt crazy to me. But. . . everyone likes to do things differently, and you've got to be ready for that."
Evans says he has learned that the key to turning in a performance he's proud of lies in trusting his director. "At the end of the day, you're handing your performance over. And so if a director says, after a take, 'You know what, try it just really angry. Just get furious.' And you're like, 'Well I don't know if I want to give you that, because I don't know if I trust what you're going to do with it."
The director Evans has trusted completely so far is "Sunshine" director Boyle, who has been receiving accolades this year for his work on "Slumdog Millionaire." Evans attributes the performances Boyle gets out of his actors to rigorous rehearsal. "He's a theater guy, and the actors he hires are all of the mind-set that preparation is the key. We were in London about a month before we started shooting and we ran it every day, like a play. . . . I got to the point with Danny where he could've been like, 'Do the next take in Spanish,' and I would've been like 'All right, I will do that Danny, I trust you so much I'm ready to be vulnerable and explore and take risks.'
"Danny Boyle's a ninja. I don't know if I'll ever have a better performance, he's just so good," Evans says.
Evans is brimming with anticipation for his next project, "Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World," which co-stars Michael Cera and will be directed by Edgar Wright, late of "Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz." "I would trust [him] with my finances; I would trust [him] to organize a party. He's just smart. I can't wait. . . to give [him] whatever [he] wants and let [him] run with it and then hopefully kick out a good product. It's an exciting process to feel safe."
Film sets aside, the place Evans feels safest is at home in the Boston area where he has extended family. His uncle is US Representative and former mayor of Somerville Michael Capuano. Growing up, he performed at the Concord Youth Theatre - his siblings are also alums, and his mother is now the artistic director - and was obsessed with going to games at the Garden, eating pizza at Leone's, and sledding in Sudbury. And let us not forget seeing nature films at the Museum of Science's Omni Theater. "I haven't been in like five or six years, so maybe the screen isn't even that big, but I remember it being huge. They always have such great movies. 'Polar Bears'! Or 'Deep Caves!' "
Last year, Evans got to settle back into his old ways when he took a three-month sabbatical at his childhood home. "No one talks about movies, and no one [cares] about acting, and they'll give it to you straight," he says of connecting with his old circle of friends. "You come out [to LA], and every single conversation you have at a nightclub is, you know, 'Hey, I saw your trailer! What are you working on? You know what I saw? You know who I met? You know who knows you?' "

Vent post: A lot people and big companies ruin things I love so much, I'm going write down a lot things down. Call of Duty, Littlebigplant, MCU, Wander Over Yonder, Payday, Evil Dead show, Dead by Daylight, and Scream.
First greedy companies, Activision, Disney, and Spyglass media they have been making horrible products and business moves. Pretty much every single skin in Cod is 20$, Modern Warfare 3 (2023) is just a 70$ DLC! Disney has such great potential to be one of the best story tellers but no they only care about the money. Spyglass killed the Scream franchises in ONE FUCKING DAY! Starbreeze, Overkill, and Deep Silver destroyed beloved series just because they wanted a quick buck.
Companies canceling shows before they can finish their stories. Wander Over Yonder and Evil Dead had which great potential to have the best series ends but they both didn't get enough viewers and they both got canceled.
People ruin the fun of Littlebigplant and Dead by Daylight. A hacker destroyed the two best sandbox games to ever exist just because he thought it was funny. Dbd fandom is so toxic all the time and it so annoying.
I do want to end this with a lighter note, I still love this amazing games, shows, and movies so much. There is still a chance they and can come back and do better. There are still new things coming out I'm very excited for. If some of this things don't come back, we can make new stories for them or based new stories on the things we love. Want to share a bunch of quotes from my favorite characters.

Makes even less sense since it would make more sense if Bean and Bark were in a team with Honey since all 3 debuted in that game (i like to think Fang stole the Chaos Emerald from her) or heck Amy could have also made sense since in the classic comics Flynn wrote Amy considers Bark a Friend who hangs out with bad people (which means he probably knows Bark and Bean shouldn't be friends with Fang but doesn't care (idk) )
Some people will say that he made them a team because they were going to be a team in Heroes (even though that wasn't known as a fact until probably (iirc) after Archie got canceled) so it's likely he didn't know that when he did make them a team, it was scrapped FOR A REASON, It wouldn't have made sense
AWWWWWWW BEAN AND BARK HANGING OUT WITH HONEY WOULD BE SO CUTE WHAT THE FUCKKKKKK
Bean and Bark being a pair makes enough sense because they were both in Sonic The Fighters and Fighters Megamix together. So they've only ever appeared on two games and they were both featured in Megamix so that at least implies an association.
Tumblr media
Honey being the one Fang stole the Chaos Emerald from also makes sense. Like, Fang is the reason Honey was a cut character lol.
Tumblr media
And yeah pointing to pre production concept ideas for Heroes is a completely hollow excuse. If they're arguing the Fang Bean and Bark trio makes sense because of that, why aren't they also touting around Tiara Boobowski or Terios as valid Sonic characters?
No, they are starting from the conclusion that Fang Bean and Bark being a trio is the way it should be BECAUSE of Flynn and Archie, and they are desperately grabbing at the post hoc justification of Muh Heroes Production Concepts after the fact. They aren't applying the same standard of logical acceptance to all Sonic game concepts which were left on the cutting room floor. They're ONLY hoisting it up in this instance because they ALREADY decided on what they want the conclusion to be and just got lucky in having something legitimate in the history of the game franchise development that they can try and use for vindication. When what they fail to realize is the concept of those characters as a trio was left behind in the pre-production phase FOR A REASON. It isn't even paratext, it's straight up NONtext. (Honey was added as a playable character in the XBLA/PSN release of The Fighters and she's not just a reskin she's a completely unique character unlike the Rabbit or Terios DLC skins, so she doesn't count as cut content anymore)
This can't even be attributed to the obsession with cut content that folks do tend to have, like with Oscar's role in Dark Souls 1. Where people try to argue that Oscar being the rival and true final boss of the game is the valid truth of his character. Even though in the final product of the game as released, that is not what he ended up being and it was clearly not a result of them WANTING to do that but being forced to cut it by outside forces or rushed development - they just decided that idea was stupid and scrapped it. And yet to this day people still obsess over that. But with Fang Bean and Bark it isn't even that, it's PURELY based on Archie worship.
Flynn trying to "explain" why Bean and Bark weren't with Fang in Superstars is so fucking pathetic and annoying, but not nearly as stupid and aggravating as the people who will look at that stupid comic and proclaim it to be in continuity with the video games. This fucking comic cannot possibly die fast enough.

The RWBY crossovers and its additional content are not indicative of RWBY doing well
Since as far back as Volumes 4-5 there have been discussions about RWBY as a franchise and its overall health, whether or not its a successful or a financially viable series. Most of these discussions operate in murky territory, as the information discussed in them is usually assumed or maybe small bits and pieces of official correspondence.
I am not here to talk about whether or not RWBY is successful on its own, although the recent news of underpaid workers, extra hours and the like do indicate that RWBY was produced at least partially due to abuse of workers. No, what i am here to discuss is the RWBY crossovers and the various additional projects that the show has had over time, and whether or not these are good for the franchise or indicative of success or failure.
This thread has been inspired very much by the discussions surrounding projects like Arowfell, because there are many fans of the show who point to such projects to indicate how great RWBY is doing.
Crossovers
Crossovers are a type of media in which two characters/settings/universes or other parts of differing media are tied into a single story or a situation. These have been around for a long time now, especially in various cartoons and have been popularized by Marvel and its "extended universe" which is basically an entire universe of crossovers.
RWBY is no stranger to such things either. RWBY has had crossover with DC comic books, a crossover with the mobile game Crusaders Quest, and even a console fighting game BlazBlue. It also has skins in games like Smite and Paladins. Its pretty good and not every franchise has such reach.
Looking at this, people might assume that RWBY is incredibly popular, no? It has so many appearances in various other media, it HAS to be popular, right?
No, that is not entirely correct. While it is true that crossovers and collaborations of such kind do indicate some amount of popularity (Because both parties have to see a benefit in collaborating), it is not as much as one might think. Even franchises a LOT larger than RWBY do not usually collaborate in any significant manner despite having the ability to do so. Because they have no need to.
Collaborations at the end of the day are there to create a cross-polination of fans, it is basically an advanced advertisement, a "if you like this, maybe you will be interested in this" kind of thing, it does have the benefit of being appreciated by people who are already fans of both things collaborating, but its main purpose is to get new eyes on the product.
And that is kind of the problem...
Because it indicates that RWBY does not exactly have the most sustainable of fanbases with how much crossover projects they are trying to do. Now some may point out that games like Fortnite are doing amazingly despite being crossover baits, and that is correct, because games like Fortnite benefit immensely by not gaining new fans but by getting new skins or other material to use from other games. Crusaders Quest is similar to that, they dont care if they get new fans from their crossovers, what they care is getting new characters/weapons and events for the currently existing fanbase.
RWBY is not like that. It does not get anything from these collaborations. They are non-canon, nothing from them has an effect on the main show or even the RWBY universe. The RWBY universe gets no benefit, no additional IP to use in its works, nada. It just possibly gets new eyes on itself.
We also have to look at the collaboration events that RWBY has had. Did any of them truly benefit RWBY as a show? From looking into the fandom during those events, not really. There was little care generated from the Crusaders Quest event, either of them. The skins for Smite and Paladins were seemingly mostly appreciated by the current fans of RWBY, the DC comic books were of questionable quality and did not really sell too well. And Blazblue died incredibly quickly, not to mention that the reaction of that fanbase to RWBY was visceral.
Its just, the crossovers in their existance seem to be indicative of RWBY fanbase not being large enough, while the crossovers also seemingly fail at bringing in new people. So whats their point?
Not only that, but look at the crossovers i mentioned. What unites ANY of the fanbases mentioned with RWBY? What about RWBY would attract them? Smite and Paladin are MOBA games, they dont really care about shows like RWBY. Mobile players of CQ also dont really care. Only Blazblue seems like a crossover that makes sense, and that was a dud because the Blazblue fanbase did not like RWBY at all due to reputation.
Side Content
RWBY has also a large ammounts of side content, the books writen by Meyers. Ice-Queendom, the comic books from DC that were RWBY canon side-content. The video games of Grimm Eclipse and the newly released Arowfell.
For the most part i would say that the books and the comic books were a success. They did their job well, both expanding the world and giving us pretty well written stories. Of course, i would like if they were more consistent with Canon, as they sometimes seemingly depart from it, or do not cover the events that they maybe should have covered, but this thread is not about that.
Ice Queendom on the other hand.... Forgive me for saying this. But it was average. It truly was nothing special. Both fan and critic alike got hyped for the project, and then everyone went silent. Look, even NOW the community is more likely to discuss V7-8 again that Ice Queendom. It just came and went without much care.
And there is no better way to compare how it did with another Anime based on western IP, Cyberpunk Edgerunners. Ice Queendom quickly fell from peoples watch charts and the biggest discussions that were had about it in its entire existance were the Tow Obukata/Arryn Zech drama and the DISASTROUS release of Ice Queendom by RT. RT released Ice Queendom horribly and seemingly with next to no communication with other streaming services, it even lacked subtitles. And its english dub seems to garner next to no attention. We also had that entire "canon-adjacent" discussion which just showed how weak Ice Queendom was in regards to RWBY IP, we all know that its basically non-canon. We all know that its canonicity is less than that of even Grimm Eclipse which has not even a SINGLE mention in the main show. It was also released during the longest hiatus in the shows history, which generated NOTHING for the main show besides a few new viewers that could be seen here on reddit.
On the other hand Edgerunners was a talk of twitter for like a month or two. CD Project Red paired its successful release with a new update for their Cyberpunk game and had a massive discount. The game was revived from the ashes like a Phoenix despite its very bad initial release. You could see the effect on steam charts. And unlike Ice Queendom it also cleanly slides into the games canon and has a connection.
One can even check the MAL reviews for that. Ice Queendom barely racked up 20k votes on its quality, Edgerunners got over 200k. While it is not indicative of full watch numbers, the difference is staggering to say the least.
Grimm Eclipse had some degree of success back 7 years ago, during the Peak RWBY years. While not the best game, it benefited from the RWBY name and its steam chart data seems to be suggesting that too, 3k peak players 7 years ago, relatively large numbers of ownership, one also has to consider that it was quite cheap to buy too.
Arowfell however, that sank like a brick. While we do not have the exact states the steam charts say that it had 140 peak players, the achievements from the Playstation store and Xbox also suggest at most a 300 player existance going off the "open 1 chest" achievement.
At best, we are looking at 1000 to 2000 purchases of the game, and even that is being generous. That would be 30k-60k in money gained from selling the game. Which is a minuscule amount considering that this was worked on by a team which did so for over a year. The game was a flop.
References
This is going to be a short section but it has to be said. References in other show do not indicate a shows success. RWBY fans went berserk when RWBY was referenced in Doctor Sleep. But this means nothing. Directors and other people working on such projects often reference things they personally like, its not an indication of popularity.
That and the cheers that were had over RWBY having a minor presence in playeer number one trailer. Its just... None of this shows that a show is popular.
But RWBY fandom reaction was so over the top and overblown it felt like a "country x" mentioned tweet on twitter where people are just happy their country is referenced.
Ending word
Look, this is not meant as a thread for doomsaying, or even saying that RWBY is failing. Its just meant to tell people to not close their eyes and ears and think that everything is fine because RWBY has so many different ways of branching out. Often this is used as proof that RWBY is super popular and a super duper great show.
And these things just dont show that, not to mention that a lot of these side-projects take time and resources from the main show, a show that many of us want to be focused upon. The unreleased DC x RWBY movie crossovers being the most egregious example of that.
It hurts more especially since most of these side-projects dont seem to garner any success, which does not bode well for the main show in turn.
Of course, any arguments or suggestions of the opposite are welcome.

Rating Josh Allen Goes Over
There are just not enough thoughts shared about Josh Allen.  Get in a couple extra takes before kickoff.  A player who’s the focus of not just the Buffalo Bills but the league has become so ubiquitous that thorough social media searches encounter fanciful notions about the nature of his awesomeness.  Unreal play leads to unreal takes on both sides.  It’s not just the messiah-style praise offered by congregants: hearing how he’s overrated is commonplace enough to be tiresome.  Haters use each other as sources.
Imagine him at full strength.  Fans have to think all the way back to 2021, which is a challenge if you’re struggling to recall what was for dinner two nights ago.  Our most recent football mental images feature Superman with kryptonite duct-taped to his elbow.  Playing hurt is a testament to toughness on top of an invaluable skill set.
Learning what a UCL is was one of last season’s 87 million low points.  Watching a football hero cope with a restricted throwing motion is not a fun way to discover what’s going on under skin.
It’s easy to avoid failure by never pursuing anything chancy.  Get nothing done to minimize low points.  Sure, there won’t be any high ones, either, but level living bores those who need the thrill of mentions filled with justified vitriol.  As for real risk-takers, they experience the widest range of emotions by daring to wager.  The greatest successes necessarily involve exposure to hazard.  Ranking Allen below Tua doesn’t count.
The balance between dashing and foolhardy is tough to maintain during the fraction of a second it takes to determine if an attempt is worthwhile.  Allen perhaps pushed the needle a bit too much into the reckless zone last year.  Boxing judges award rounds for effective aggression.  Charging boldly into an uppercut meets only one of the two criteria.
But the downside of the wrong player fielding occasional passes is worth accepting from someone who singlehandedly changed a franchise’s fortune.  The difference between Buffalo’s seemingly endless drought and current bounty is exactly one player.  We’re already accustomed to how comfortable it is to know Allen is there.  The Bills are already past the point where they presume he’ll keep them in games and seasons.
Allen must adjust to losing not only occasional games but also privacy.  Complaining about paparazzi caring about what he's doing off the field disregards how he’s a public figure even outside of Bills Country.  Buffalo’s most prominent citizen should know the time to worry is when nobody cares what you do.
There are more productive ways to spend a monotonous offseason than constructing daft theories about superstars who aren’t.  Alternate reality enthusiasts manipulate statistics in a way that’d make Capitol staffers blush.  Delusions that should get one banished from polite football society are promoted by the similarly deluded who insist there are four feet in a yard.  Insulation from human contact while interacting with humans is one of the delights of online living.
A more accurate but similarly imbecilic scenario involves noting there may be one human better at this job.  Rankings can be harmless fun as long as there’s no implication that a silver medal is pathetic.
Measuring ourselves against others is a sure way to feel unsatisfied.  I suppose that’s what sports are.  Nevertheless, Allen is a fantastic success by his own standard.  He’s achieved a tremendous amount at age 27 even if he obviously has unfulfilled goals.  The fact that needs to be stated reflects the mute button’s value.
The only thing worse than trolling is the unintentional version.  You can get upset at Twitter crackpots explaining why Allen is ranked near the bottom of the AFC East’s quarterbacks, much less those in the entire NFL.  Or you can laugh and wait for more results to prove how far deviants strayed from truth.
Allen didn’t get to be this prominent.  Didn’t you heed naysayers?  Pretending inaccuracy’s a fundamental problem that can’t be remedied with better receivers is another example of why you should never listen to Troy Aikman under any circumstances.
A winning record only begins to reflect impact.  Tracking statistics instead of watching games isn’t merely a myopic deficiency for fantasy football zealots who only want an accumulation of numbers.  Enjoying the sport is based around observing not many people can do.  There are at most a few individuals on Earth better than Allen at his job.
The preferred hobby of the miserable is fun for everyone else when nothing they bitch about comes true.  The good news is narratives don’t affect games.  Proclaiming how life is with self-satisfaction is its own punishment when reality plods on with indifference.  The little matter of whether or not opinions conform to actuality is left out of standings.
Let the endless prattle of preposterous framing continue.  Football will drown out jibber jabber in a few days.  Hearing why Allen’s allegedly a reckless turnover machine has provided comfort during the offseason to backers of teams not blessed to have him on their rosters.
The best and worst thing about the internet is unedited content.  Not having someone offer perspective with a quick scan of a tweet or Facebook post leads to unfiltered content.  Readers assess who should be ignored just like quarterbacks calculate the appropriateness of any try to advance the football.  Allen’s success rate far exceeds those of his harshest critic.  Some opinion generators could use recalibration.  Um, that doesn’t apply to this column.
