🌿 pinespittinink reintro 🌿
hello and welcome to my blog 💌 i'm easing myself back into writeblr and hope to meet some new people and continue to vibe as i always have on here. this is not my main blog, so while i may follow you, it won't be from this account. i don't follow or engage with minors; all my work is adult and queernorm unless otherwise indicated.

a little bit about me: catherine ~ she/her ~ capricorn ~ pan & poly ~ 28 ~ 18+ only ➡  about page ⬅

i've been around here sporadically since 2018 and always tend to come home; i like prompts and ask games and tags and fun things. i write love stories in sci-fi and fantasy settings, and i'm working towards traditional publishing always. currently i'm querying my adult fantasy standalone, The Great Glavenisean Theater (The Night Circus x House of Leaves). i enjoy writing nsfw content, lush scene setting, and detailed emotional headspaces.

the great glavenisean theater 🎭 {wip intro} {general tag} spec fic/fantasy standalone. a tailor goes to the big city and gets swept up by a phantasmagorical theater with an interdimensional portal in the stage, gets a crush on a cute guy working the rigging, and maybe starts to lose his mind as shit gets Weird™️
in the deep of the trees 🍃 {wip intro} {general tag} high fantasy, romantic subplot, standalone. (bi4bi otp). a social-climber uses subterfuge, blackmail, and murder to achieve his ambitions, and the court eccentric that he's in love with gets weirder and weirder when a new discovery is brought back by an exploration team.
star white 🌟 {wip intro} {general tag} romantic space fantasy, standalone. (gay otp) one man searches for the love of his life after he's been abducted by sentient dark matter, and spends millions of years travelling through space with a semi-organic AI ship.
solene's verse 🌊 epic fantasy, duology. (t4t otp) a young self-taught wizard makes a ton of bad decisions, as a group of ragtag youths from the cesspit of the world try to rescue the elder brother of one of their own from a tower of cultists.
the revenant (working title) dark fantasy, duology(???? who knows). a one-woman-war-machine who cannot die fights alongside her childhood best friend and lover and their loyal band of vagabonds to bring down the corrupt royalty desecrating their kingdom
the wasteland (working title) weird spec fic/dark fantasy, novella. a lousy hot-tempered fire elemental and a shitty light necromancer embark on the world's worst walking roadtrip to a castle on the wasteland falling away at their feet.
[odyssey solomon's wip - mad max fury road x the road x the locked tomb, post-apocalyptic fantasy. father and son against the world plus a weird shapeshifting bitch]

RoM - Cinematic Sequence Ramble
I tend to approach my works as if they're films, which often makes it harder for me. But this time I had a stroke of genius !
To keep the backstory short, and as free of spoilers as I can; During the Aperature (an event where the Mirror Realm and Earth overlap) a lot of things went wrong. One of which being Emil becoming infected with the poison of the Mirror Realm that risks spreading to Earth, which would effectively destroy it. The last scene (ish) of Realm of Mirrors is thus of Emil's death.
Before getting into the sequence I have in mind, here's a snippet of it. Enjoy :>
Emil saw their hesitation. Felt their unbearable fear and sorrow. Turning back to the sky he breathed deep, and sang; “Den blomstertid nu kommer, med lust och fägring stor. Du nalkas, ljuva sommar, då gräs och gröda gror.” his voice was trembling, but his song was as beautiful as can be. Perfectly flawed in a way that made it haunting. Carrying through the forest and over the oceans, a solemn tribute to the rising sun. Providing comfort and courage where none existed. “Med blid och livlig värma, till allt som varit dött, sig solens strålar närma,” Emil stumbled on his words as his breath shuddered. Tears once more trailed his face, but he carried on; bracing himself for what was to come, “Och allt blir återfött.” Comfort and courage flickered like a dying fire. So before it went out, Tess, Ida, Jake, and Astrid held each other’s hands tighter— and squeezed their eyes shut as magic flashed through them like a gunshot. Only it didn’t hit them, and there was no bang. Only dreadful silence. Jake was the first to open his eyes, to glance at the body lying between them. Emil’s muscles had relaxed, and his head had lolled to the side. Still and peaceful. One after another, they looked at him. And when the sun rose over the treetops, its warmth melted their frozen state of shocked numbness. Let it seep into the cracks, and reality was understood.  Tess’ breath hitched, and then she screamed.
The song Emil sings is the first verse to 'Den Blomstertid Nu Kommer' (ENG: The Time of Blossom Now Approaches) and the version I'll be using for this is the one from Bramble: The Mountain King. Because the vibes are spectacular and just what I'm after. (Listen to it because it makes what I'm about to describe a lot better)
Now for the sequence !
Emil sings the first verse solo. No instrumentals, no back-ups, just him (0:00 - 0:47). It's then quiet, with only the wind through the forest, then once we're shown Emil's body, the ambiance (0:48 - 0:53) fades in. It continues to swell as the scene progresses, reaching its peak once Tess screams.
And as they all begin crying, the song continues, carrying through a "montage" where the remaining characters return to Grimmvik, passing the castle and other important places as they do. This is all slowed down, not much but enough to portray a sense of emptiness, and the only sound is the song. Meaning we can't hear the crying, only see as they cry.
We end the scene through a fade, most likely through the sky, as the song comes to an end, transitioning us to the epilogue.
//
Haven't used this in a while, so let's dust it off

Time for some WIP Wednesday! Reader beware, there's NSFW bits below!
Warped Fate (Part of Bloodlines series. Exploring who exactly Solen and Luana are in this verse, bc they're actual Gods so Zale and Valere can stay w/ their friends and family. Face headcanon for Solen is Aldis Hodge, btw.)
“You’ve done well.”
Zale jumped, whirling in the bright expanse, eyes wide and trying to find the source of the voice. It was deep-toned, resonating like it came from inside an enormous bell, and the vibrations of it surrounded him on all sides. At first, Zale couldn’t see anything, too blinded by the brilliant surroundings—then—
A man approached, stepping through the light. At least…Zale thought it was a man.
“You’ve fought hard, accomplished so much.”
For a wild moment, Zale almost thought Moraine stood before him, but—
The man radiated light, flaring off his body in whirling tongues of energy and flame, dark skin glowing in the golden power. He stood a full head and hand taller than B’st, and would have been intimidating if not for the wide smile on his face. His long, dark hair was intricately coiled and braided, then pulled back away from his face with a series of golden clips and combs. His beard and mustache were eerily similar in shape to Moraine’s, the color as dark as his hair.
The robes he wore were unlike anything Zale had seen before, a long, dark vest was overlaid on a bright red and yellow robe with a bright white, overlapping collar. A leather belt with golden inlay held up not only a heavy sword, but equally bright, silken scarves—scarves that held immense energy that made the woven cloth Zale bore feel weak in comparison. His boots were slightly curled up at the toe, the heavy material lined in white at the seams, and his light colored pants were tucked carefully into them.
“You’ve even managed to knock Aephorul down a peg!” the man laughed, head tipped back. “I don’t think any of our devotees ever managed to do that. Don’t believe any have managed to save not one, but two worlds, either.”
“Wh-what? Who are you—?”
*
Kintsugi (Chapter 2? This is NSFW. The extra whump my brain demanded is this. *headdesk*)
“M-mas—Mas’r! Ple-ple’se, i—i’ hur’s!”
“Is this what you wished to show me, Barma’thazël?”
—!!
Pet stiffened, a chill momentarily cutting through the heat as it shot down his spine. His head turned at the sound of hooves, eyes wide as a shadowy form strode through the arched door.
He knew—he knew that voice—that was—
(Her smile was kind as she smiled down at him, and she reached down and ruffled his newly sheared hair with a laugh—)
Pet whined, an odd double image where the newcomer stood; a smiling, slight woman with red hair faded into the creature standing beside the platform, red eyes narrowed and sneering down at him. The Toys shifted, and Pet’s back arched and his legs jerked as they began thrusting into him again.
“A-aah! Ple’se!”
“How disgusting.”
The shock at seeing that face filled with so much contempt—directed at him—Pet’s stomach twisted and he couldn’t help the sob that tore from his throat as he writhed. He didn’t—she wasn’t Master—so why did he feel like—like he’d disappointed her—like he’d done something Bad?
“Elysan'darëlle.”
Her head lazily tipped up, and Pet held his breath at the unimpressed look she leveled at Master. Her long, clawed fingers tapped against the stone surface as she circled the platform. Pet shivered as she picked at the chain, then trailed her claws against his face and neck. The touch was so soft, and almost gentle; that ticklish sensation, coupled with the continued harsh thrusts of his Toys, tipped him over the edge and Pet’s back arched off the stone as he came with a choked cry.
“Tell me this isn’t why you requested my presence.”
*
To Submit (My attempt at ABO fic. *sighs* This originally was just gonna be a long one-shot for an OT4, but noooo...worldbuilding had to happen.)
“Oh…this isn’t good…”
Teaks cradled Zale as he shivered, tucking the blanket about him tighter. Garl had said that his fever had gone down a bit, though he had been evasive on how exactly he’d managed it. Teaks frowned at how uncomfortable the Warrior Cook had looked, knowing that there were only a few ways for an omega to come down from a heat. She wondered at what the differences that Mooncradle must have regarding dealing with the secondary seasons, if Garl felt embarrassed to help a friend through his heat. Surely it wasn’t any different than other places…?
But then again, the three of them sometimes were so unaware of how the world seemed to work…maybe Mooncradle had some flaws in how they educated their people? They were quite isolated…
“H-h’rs—”
Teaks sighed. Zale’s fever was climbing again, and the sight of him being so pale and greyed out, blue eyes clouded and not really registering anything…Teaks shivered and hoped that whatever was causing this strange heat would pass soon. Garl had caught her as she entered the house they’d claimed for themselves, asking her to keep an eye on Zale. Then, he’d left to find Valere and go gather supplies, and she worried at how long it was taking him.
“Teaks? Keenathan said Zale’s here?”
The door rattled as if something rammed into it. Teaks jumped, eyes wide as Valere sheepishly opened the door. Her rueful, lopsided grin slid from her face at seeing Zale bundled in Teak’s arms.
“Zale?”
Teaks blinked and Valere was suddenly at their side, hand reaching and pressing gently at Zale’s forehead. He moaned, nuzzled up into her palm and writhed in the cocoon of blankets.
“S’hot—hur’s—”
“Teaks, what’s going on?”

Paul Wall and Termanology: Start Finish Repeat. An Album Review.
The fact that Paul Wall is white is what astounds me the most.
I'm tangentially familiar with Paul Wall through his feature on the classic Kanye West song "Drive Slow." "Drive Slow" is one of the best songs Kanye Dropped on Late Registration, highlighted by laidback jazzy instrumentals, smooth flows from Ye and Wall, and sublime lyricism from both artists.
This entire project harkens to that song with similar chill instrumentals and lyrics.
Teaming up with fellow rapper Termanology, the duo dropped a collaborative album on October 13th, 2023, titled "Start Finish Repeat." They have since dropped a deluxe edition, but I opted for the shorter initial release of the album to see the original vision.
In short, the LP is a vibe. SFP is an enjoyable, enriching experience between two veterans in the hip-hop game trading verses back and forth, along with numerous features packed throughout the project. Accompanying Paul Wall and Termanology are talented and respected artists such as AZ, Solene, CL Smooth, Bun B, Big KRIT, Sheek Louch, and many others. Many of the songs are reminiscent of "Drive Slow," fitting the aesthetic. In my opinion, there wasn't a bad track on the album, though some songs tend to blend with others due to similarity. But, each verse from every artist is crafted carefully, flowing well, and delivered succinctly, which is especially impressive from artists such as Wall and Termanology. My personal favorite tracks would probably include: Palm Trees, Houston BBQ, Got It Made, Smoke Somethin', and Leather Recliner.
If you haven't checked it out, I would recommend a quick listen as soon as possible. There's bound to be a track or two to enjoy if you're looking for something lowkey to enjoy. 3.5/5.

@evermxre : ❛ i’m not afraid of you. ❜
HER HEAD LEANT ONTO THE HAND upon her neck, her own palm yearning to rest upon it. And yet she knew the chill her skin would hold with the storm so close to the surface, and so she left her own arms by her sides, fingers tense with trying not to curl into a fist. Her eyes closed, she could pretend to ignore the kind look upon his face as he spoke those words. His kindness was misplaced — dangerous.
"You should be," she murmured, eyes now open but downcast. "I could kill with one wrong move... I already almost have. I shouldn't have come —"
The need to flee was strong, a instinct born from a childhood spent hidden behind doors. Isolation was the only way to be safe, the only way to keep the storm from hurting anyone else. Even as she had tried to move past such ideas, her body still defaulted to that age old defence. Every muscle felt tense, as if holding herself still would hide her from the magic that dwelled within.

NAME: Fleur Constantineau  AGE/BIRTHDAY: verse dependent / was given January 29th GENDER: Female SPECIES: Human but will be turned lycanthrope HEIGHT/HAIR/EYES: 5′6 / Black / grayish blue FACECLAIM:  Sakuya Shirase  AVAILABILITY: Available by request or thread with Solene and/or Inaya
BIO: When Fleur was just a toddler, Solene found her wandering the streets alone and hungry. Unable to speak even her own name, Solene adopted the child when no one had reported her missing and had given her a home, a name and even a birthday (the day she found her). Since her adoption, she’s lived with her and has lived a relatively happy life. She’s particularly attached to Solene’s sister Leone, enjoying their times simply reading by the fire. When Fleur is of age, she wishes to be turned to a wolf just as the rest of her family is though Solene doesn’t want to curse her like that, she feels that she might not have a choice.
She’s a happy girl, a bit spunky though with manners and is a curious little thing. She loves exploring the ranch and surrounding properties is homeschooled by Leone herself and loves listening to music of all sorts. She has a group of friends she hangs around in town, ones she’s known since she was little and have been close throughout the years. Most times when Solene isn’t traveling, you can be sure to find little Fleur tagging right along with her for even simple things such as a run to the store. She’s a very family oriented girl who loves all of her aunts and uncles and considers Solene to be her mother than anything else. She’s careful, she’s considerate and she loves horseback riding, dancing, and arts and crafts.
Fleur grows up to be a happy and vivacious woman, a love of life and a bit of a thrill seeker. She’s smart, outgoing, with the type of personality that just draws people in. She can be a bit sassy depending on who she’s with but overall is very well mannered and respectful.
A girl like her wouldn’t come as a surprise if she had friends by the dozen and yet she really doesn’t. She prefers to stick close to home with her family, running all over the ranch and helping Solene in any way she can. She looks up to Solene for all that she does and how many people she’s helped and wants to be able to give so selflessly just like Sol. Fleur hasn’t been turned into a lycanthrope yet but she definitely still wants to be and she can feel Solene’s resolve weakening and knows that it won’t be much longer until she can finally truly be one of the family. A wolf just like all the others.
Solene has trained Fleur personally in how to fight and defend herself, the girl showing quite a knack for it and Solene is all too aware of just how much potential she’d possess if she were in fact a wolf. Fleur is a girl of many talents though she prefers to do the simple things like tending to the ranch but it’s not that unusual if you find the girl trying out some rather dangerous stunts not too far from sight. Solene claims that one of these days Fleur will give her a heart attack and that only has Fleur pushing to be turned even more.

moon
Hebid does not actually have a moon! It orbits a star, but it’s a funky shaped disc-world planet and doesn’t have it’s own satellites. The two top-tier gods stand for many things-- Settva is god of the sun, for instance. If there was a moon, Fado would be god of it-- instead, he is of the dark and the far-burning stars.
Send me a random word and I will give you a wip/oc/world-building fact related to that word or a line with that word in it!

At this point, I’ve more or less given up on trying to justify Ronan Survives!Aus. Options I have considered are:
(1). Robespierre, Camille, and Danton crowdfunding a prototype of a bulletproof vest because they know he’s an idiot.
(2.) Marat just being a REALLY good doctor. The wonders of 18th century medicine.
(3.) The numerous bullets *somehow* managing to miss any vital regions AND somehow he still doesn’t bleed out.
(4.) Knocked into a coma, soap opera style.
(5.) Peyrol dramatically getting his company surgeon to tend to him. The other revolutionaries + Olympe and Solene are understandably shocked.

Hjalmar Gullberg, Förklädd Gud/Disguised God (V/IX)
I’m not as good at keeping a schedule as I should be, but here’s the halfway point anyway! Translation as always by John Hearne (who, unlike Gullberg, cheats on the rhyme).
V.
Husbonden må vi prisa säll, Tessaliens monark. När han står upp vid hanegäll, är han på helgad mark.
För den som bland hans drängar bor och äter deras mat, är solens herre, månens bror och stjärnornas kamrat.
V.
So let us praise this husbandman, Thessalonica’s shepherd-lord. When at cock-crow he rises up, he walks a sacred road.
He then who dwelt among the beasts and shared their humble fares, is brother to the sun and moon, and comrade of the stars.
I got curious about the king mentioned, so I looked him up: his name was Admetus, and he seems to have been a righteous dude. I had heard the story of his wife Alcestis before, but not connected it to the myth retold here.
I notice that “Tessalien” (Thessaly) is translated into “Thessalonica”, but when I look them up, they don’t seem to be the same place. Is there anyone better-versed in classic and modern Greek geography who can sort it out?
No music for this part, so have Mark Levengood’s comforting Finland-Swedish voice in the recitation!

WHY DO CATHOLICS PRAY THE ROSARY INSTEAD OF JUST READING THE BIBLE?
October 3, 2017by Fr. John Paul GardnerOne hundred years ago this month the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, appeared for a sixth and decisive time to three shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal on Oct. 13 asking our now newly-canonized Saints Jacinta and Francesco and their cousin Lucia to do acts of penance and to pray the Holy Rosary to bring an end to World War I and to prevent further disasters in the world.   She asked that at the end of each mystery of the Rosary, the faithful would all pray, “O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are in most need of thy Mercy.” During this last apparition, Our Blessed Mother produced an incredible miracle that tens of thousands of people, believers and nonbelievers alike, saw with their own eyes, the amazing Miracle of the Sun. But, why would Our Lady use such a momentous occasion to ask the children and all the faithful to pray the Rosary? Some might ask why Our Lady didn’t tell them to read the Bible? Isn’t reading the Bible more important than praying the Rosary?   To best respond to this question, one must be aware that the Bible and the Rosary are not opposed to each other, they’re not mutually exclusive. Without the Word of God there would be no Rosary, and praying the Rosary only magnifies the Word of God in the soul.   In fact, the prayers of the Rosary find their very source and meaning in the Bible. The 20 mysteries of the Rosary are meditations on events or teachings found in the Bible. All three essential prayers prayed on the beads of the rosary use words that are written or find their roots in sacred Scripture. The “Our Father” prayed at the beginning of each mystery are the words of the prayer Christ Himself taught His disciples (Matt. 6:9-13). The “Hail Mary” is the most common prayer in the Rosary and begins with the words of greeting to the Virgin Mary from the Archangel Gabriel and her cousin St. Elizabeth (Luke 1:28, 42). The Third prayer known as the “Glory Be” has its roots in the book of Revelation 4:8.     The Holy Rosary makes absolutely NO obstacle to the Word of God. In fact, the Rosary makes the Word of God more apparent and allows us to fathom it depths and allows the soul to commune with The Word Himself. The Rosary doesn’t prevent the Word of God any more than plates or silverware prevent one from eating a meal. The Rosary places NO obstacle to the Word of God any more than a telescope obstructs an astronomer’s view of the heavens.   On Sept. 30, the Church celebrates the feast day of one of her greatest Scripture scholars St. Jerome. Perhaps the most significant remark he made about the Scriptures was “Ignorance of the Scriptures is ignorance of Christ!”   Saint Jerome was not mincing words. It is our duty as Christians to know the sacred Scriptures because understanding them is essential to knowing Jesus Christ. But, reading only the Scriptures does not mean I know Christ. Memorizing passages of Scripture and reciting them chapter and verse for all to hear may be a good practice, but it does not necessarily make one holy. Holiness can only come from Christ, and Christ can only be found in prayer.     The Rosary simply and powerfully achieves this by the intercession of Our Mother Mary who knows Christ better than those who wrote the Bible. By pondering the Word of God with His Mother, we begin to know Christ.   We need the intercession of the Blessed Mother as much now as we did 100 years ago when she appeared to the young children at Fatima. She will show us her Son, the Word of God. Pray the Rosary every day.   Ave Maria!   Fr. Gardner is pastor of St. Peter in Fort Yates and the Catholic Indian Mission, as well as the satellite parishes in Cannon Ball, Porcupine, Selfridge and Solen. If you have a question you were afraid to ask, now is the time to ask it! Simply email your question to [email protected] with the “Question Afraid to Ask” in the subject line.

Goooood evening folks, i figured i would Get With the Times and make a legit blog intro to steal the throne of pinned post. i may add to and prune this post as time goes on, but i will be constantly updating it with wip pages and masterposts as they go up. have you seen me on your dash before? perhaps! i’m the weirdo behind the oc tea piccrew game and the deify yourself piccrew game, as well as the reblog your own stuff post and the read books if you want to write books post.

what to expect from me: a bit of everything in the writeblr kitchen sink. refs, prompts, wip and general inspo, memes, ask/tag games (i am friendly to both, but put priority on asks as i get a lot of tags nowadays!). i dig good aesthetics and vivid, sensory writing with emphasis on description and emotional content. i unabashedly write nsfw content, and do not follow anyone under 18.
at the end of the day, i love writing about love. every story i write has some variant of a love story in it somewhere. that said, i am not a romance genre writer. i have made my bed with fantasy, and to fantasy i will always return, yada yada. my dad read The Hobbit to me when i was four and set me up for life.
secondary world high fantasy is my specialty, but i also love space fantasy, fairytale and myth retellings, and cosmic horror. my wip Star White, about a man who spends a billion years searching for his lost lover when he is abducted by sentient dark matter, is a blend of all three.
what a nice segway into MY WIPS <insert Will Smith showing off his wife meme>
you may know me from my 1920s-inspired theater with an interdimensional portal in the belly of the stage wip, The Great Glavenisean Theater, or my very strange giant tree wip, In The Deep of the Trees featuring Titus and Sabine. if you’re an oldie (circa 2018-2020), you might recall Bloodlines, a romantic high fantasy featuring original species, the Gelkins and the skin-changers. my other wips include the aforementioned space fairytale, Star White, a queer fucked up found family epic with trans wizards and missing gods called Solene’s Verse, and a very experimental novella about the worst walking roadtrip known to mankind (i accidentally blow up your village and kill your girlfriend, you get an existential crisis about the nature of reality), aka The Wasteland.
i will continue to spruce up this space with wip intros as i refurbish everything, but my main focus right now is finishing the first draft of The Great Glavenisean Theater. i do aspire toward traditional publishing, and have had an eye on this industry for twelve years (i was actively querying at fourteen, we’re in this writing shit for life)

@evermxre   :   ❛ it was a nightmare, it’s alright. you’re safe now. ❜
HER HANDS HAD BECOME LIKE CLAWS in their grip on his arm where it was wrapped around her. For a moment after waking, her eyes had been wide and unseeing; glassy with phantoms of her imagination still haunting her. But she blinked once or twice, taking in the darkness only alleviated by the light of the moon, and her shoulders slumped, the tears coming not long after.
Unable to do much else, she turned and hid her face in his chest. Such dreams had tormented her since childhood, only changing as she grew older. Elsa had tried her mother’s advice, to picture tossing her nightmares to the stars outside her window, but it could only help for so long. The waking mind may know her powers had been accepted, but the slumbering one only conjured images of the horrified faces of her people. Her sister’s frozen form solid ice under her fingers.
“I’m sorry I woke you,” she whispered into his nightshirt, fingers clutching at the fabric like a child.

The fate of the wicked
1. Biblical teaching.
The destiny of the wicked is to be eternally separated from God and to suffer eternally the punishment that is called the second death. Due to its terrible nature, it is a subject from which it is customary to retreat; however, it is necessary to become aware of it, as it is one of the great truths of divine revelation. For this reason, the meek and loving Christ warned men of suffering in hell. His statement about the hope of heaven also applies to the existence of hell "if it were not so, I would have told you" (John 14: 2). Hell is a place of: extreme suffering (Rev. 20:10), where remorse (Luc. 16: 19-31), restlessness (Luc. 16:24), shame and contempt (Dan. 12) are remembered and felt. : 2), vile company (Rev. 21: 8) and despair (Prov. 11: 7, Matt. 25:41).
2. Misconceptions.
(a) Universalism teaches that all men, in the end, will be saved, arguing that God is too loving to exclude anyone from heaven. This theory is refuted by the following passages: Rom. 6:23; Luc. 16: 19-31; John 3:36 and others. In reality, it is the mercy of God that excludes the wicked from heaven, for he would not be accommodated in the heavenly environment as the righteous would not be happy to be in hell.
(b) Restoration. The doctrine of the restoration of all things teaches that hell is not eternal, but only a temporary experience that aims to purify the sinner so that he can enter heaven. If so, then hellfire would have more power than the blood of Christ. Also, experience teaches us that punishment, in itself, does not regenerate; it can restrict but not transform. Supporters of this school of thought claim that the word "eternal" in the Greek language means "duration of century or time" and not endless duration.
But according to Matt. 25:41, if the punishment of the wicked ends, then the happiness of the righteous will also have an end. Thus comments Dr. Maclaren: Reverently accepting the words of Christ as words of perfect love and unfailing wisdom, this author ... fears that, in the eagerness to discuss the duration, the solemn fact of the reality of the future retribution is overshadowed, and the men argue about the "terror of the Lord" to the point that they are no longer afraid of it. Habits tend to stick. The tendency of character is to become permanent; there is no reason to believe that God in the future, more than in the present, compels the person to be saved.
(c) Second probationary period. It teaches that everyone, in the time between death and resurrection, will have another opportunity to accept salvation. The Scriptures, however, teach that in death man's destiny has already been fixed. (Heb. 9:27.) In addition, how many will accept the present opportunity if they think there will be another one? And, according to the laws of human nature, if you neglect the first opportunity, you are less willing to accept the second.
(d) Annihilation. It teaches that God will annihilate the wicked. Supporters of this doctrine quote 2Tess. 1: 9 and other passages that state that the wicked will be destroyed. However, the meaning of the word, as used in Scripture, is not to "annihilate", but to cause ruin. If the word perdition (Almeida) in this verse means to annihilate, then the word "eternal" in the same verse would be superfluous, because annihilation can only be eternal. They also quote passages that expose death as the penalty for sin. But in these cases, it refers to spiritual death and not physical death, and spiritual death means separation from God. The promise of life made to the obedient does not mean the gift of "existence", because this gift all men have. And if life, as a reward, doesn’t mean mere existence, then death doesn’t mean mere loss ... O destino dos ímpios

Name: Cassiane (Cas-see-ah-nee) Alias: The Forgotten Goddess Age/Birthday: Unknown / February 24th (a birthday she gave herself) Species: Greek Goddess Height/Hair/Eyes: 5′9 / Lavender / Plum purple Orientation/Status: Demisexual / Single
Bio:
A goddess whose name has been erased from history, her true name forgotten long ago. Found amongst the cinnamon trees centuries ago by mortals, that was where she had been given her new name. They had no idea the true identity of the woman that was harboring refuge amongst their people, the mark upon her forehead and the amnesia a curse placed on her by the very gods she once considered her family. Every time she gets close to figuring out who she is, the curse will take hold and erase her memories all over again. This time it seems that she subconsciously accepted her fate, unlike times before where she sought out her true identity, this time she seems fine settling with her current one which is the one reason she’s been able to keep her memories for so long.
Though even if she did wish to learn more about herself, most of what she’d discover would be difficult to believe. She is the goddess that never existed, at least there are no recordings of her anywhere in history. Born as the fourth sister to the Moirai, where her sisters represented birth, life, and death, she was chance, change, and rebirth. Her ruling came to anger her sisters, the fact that she created unpredictability when it came to the mortal's destiny and the chance to change what has been decided. To the sisters that thrived off of knowing and seeing all things, this was something they could not stand. They came to loath her, even more so when Cassiane’s love for humanity began to shine so the three of them first attempted to kill her. It was discovered soon after that because of her alignment with luck, every attempt they made was thwarted in some fashion so instead, they cursed her, sealing away her memories and most of her divine powers though even then they couldn’t seal it all.
To this day, Cassiane is still able to see far more than she should. With sight beyond sight, she can see someone’s thoughts, see their past present and possible future. She can see the truth behind their lies, their emotions, and fears, even see across the world if she so decided it however each time she uses her ability it drains her of her energy and she falls ill-like for the next few days. During this time, she’s unable to control her sight and has to wear a mask over her eyes to prevent her from constantly overexerting herself once again. She’s tried everything to remove the curse mark on her forehead but since nothing works, all she can do is come up with stories behind it or hide it behind her hair or some sort of accessory. Though tattoos have become more widely accepted these days that she rarely hides it any longer and no one seems to recognize the mark for what it actually is.
Cassiane herself is a rather humble woman, kind and generous. She lives in a small town, one where they didn’t question her about her past, accepted her with open arms and a smile on their faces. This is the first time in so long that she has felt accepted unconditionally that she fears the day that she has to leave when they begin to notice that she doesn’t age or that something isn’t quite right with her. Until then, she lives a very simple life. She rents the apartment above the local bakery, works parttime there as well as at the flower shop a few doors down. During her free time she often finds herself at the park reading or at the ranch of a family she’s grown quite close to.
When she came to Texas, she had become fast friends with the woman known as Solene and though Solene has offered to help her, the goddess couldn’t bring herself to accept it. She knows what Solene does for others, how much she gives and gives and never asks for anything in return and Cassi refuses to be yet another to rely on the wolf. In her eyes, Solene has already done far too much. So instead, she just enjoys what time she does have left there, always grateful for what she has and never asking for more than she needs.
