The Adoptive Son. Part 3
A pair of large, cornflower blue eyes stare across the living room of a luxurious penthouse at a nervous-looking man. The pair belong to a young teenager named Tim Drake, who, for the past few weeks, had spoken only a handful of words with Dick since Operation Honey Pot had begun.
They were waiting for Crowne to go get the surprise he had special ordered for Drake from an acquaintance
He tended to stare at him whenever he was around. Sometimes Dick didn't think Drake would even blink. It felt a little like Drake was starstruck by Dick- but he couldn't figure out what he had done to earn such rapture from Drake.
Other times, Drake would study him the same way a scientist would study a newly discovered bug- fascinated but weary, as though he didn't know if it was dangerous. So the scientist needed to pin the bug to a board and take it apart to understand it.
It sort of made Dick uneasy.
The night Crowne had brought him back, Drake happily played some video games while his babysitter- a sweet college student named Nancy- had been working on her assignment at the table.
Drake had turned to greet Crowne and had promptly choked on his own spit at the sight of Dick. Crowne had run off to cook them a meal, insisting Nancy finish her homework and not worry as he cooked.
She had smiled gratefully, turning back to her books while Drake had been rooted by the tv, with the most awe-struck expression Dick had ever seen.
Dick is a little surprised by how well Crowne treats Nancy Salazar.
Nancy is studying to be a pediatric occupational therapist. She adores children and is fascinated by the physical therapist aspect of the medical field.
Dick had learned that Nancy had been struggling to pay her Gotham University tuition after losing her job to a rouge attacking her workplace and the company deciding they needed to make budget cuts to complete the repairs.
She had also fallen behind on her bills due to her father suffering a medical emergency and the family pooling together what little they had to help him get life-saving surgery.
Her dad had been the family's primary provider for as long as Nancy could remember. Since neither of her parents could speak English, they had limited employment options. Nancy's siblings were all younger then than her, so they couldn't help much with the bills.
She had tried to take over as the eldest daughter, but soon it became apparent she was close to losing the house her parents had left their home country for to build a better future for their children. It devastated her.
She had been on the brink of becoming desperate for any job when she had run into Crowne at a wifi-cafe shop. She had seen Tim struggling to get through the door with his wheelchair and had gone to help him. (the child had seen internet videos of parkour and chosen to attempt the tricks himself. He had broken his leg from jumping from one roof to another.)
Her kind actions got Crowne attention, and he invited her to sit with them, then witnessed her have a meltdown when the owner of the cafe told her he had just filled the barista position she had come for an interview for.
It must have all piled up until Nancy couldn't hold back.
Crowne and Drake had consulted her, listening to her woes. After she calmed down, the two adults exchanged contact information to get to know each other. He had offered a babysitting job with complete benefits and a full-ride scholarship. Crowne had even gone far and beyond, paying off all her father's medical expenses and debts.
Dick knew all this because he had done a background check on her to see if she was involved in Crowne's schemes. Her story felt just a tab bit too far fetch for all the good fortune of meeting Crowne that fateful day.
She even admitted that she was sure she would have resorted to a life of crime with how desperate she had been back then.
When she came back clean- just the eldest daughter of immigrants trying to make it in this hellish city- Dick had thought Crowne was infatuated with her.
Nancy was a very attractive young lady, and it would not be the first time a rich man took advantage of a woman in finical distress. He hadn't found evidence yet, but Dick would keep an eye on her to ensure she was safe.
Her involvement was a lot easier to dismiss than it was for Drake.
"You and Danny are dating. He told me last night." Drake says after about half an hour of Scientist-looking-at-bug staring.
Dick throws on his best Wanye smile, making sure it's both charming and besotted. "Yes. We've agreed to become official. I hope you don't mind."
Drake tilts his head, looking ironically enough like a bird. "That depends."
"On what?"
"On what your intentions with Danny are." Drake puts down his Crowne laptop, which Danny had been programming and designing back when they started talking. The design is still the slimmest Dick had ever seen, small enough that it sat comfortably in Drake's school back and robust enough that it worked for all his gaming and photo developing.
It took Crowne about two months to complete what he called "modern," but it wouldn't be out to the rest of the public until Christmas when Crowne planned to reveal it to raise profits as high as possible.
The only reason Drake was allowed to have a model so early was simply that Crowne obviously saw him as a younger brother and sometimes maybe even a son. Dick certainly pick that up in the two-month undercover mission.
He must win over Drake as soon as possible for the sake of the mission. So far, he's come up with nothing incriminating, but more kids have disappeared. If the other boy can't stand him, it will seriously risk his access to Crowne's home and any clues on the missing children.
"I want to give him the life he deserves." Dick settles on. He's noticed that Drake is crazy intelligent. There was no reason to outright lie and get caught if the boy was smart enough to connect the dots.
"Danny deserves the world." Drake nods, stating the words like a fact. "Whatever you searching for, you won't find here."
What?
"Do you not want me to date Danny?"
Drake pauses, carefully turning the question in his head before answering. "I want someone to date Danny because they like him"
"I do like him."
"Do you?" Drake's eyes are practically ice, and Dick gets the sense he just walked into a trap. Carefully, he double-taps his left belt loop sending a warning sound to the Batcave. They won't pull him out yet, but it will have either Babs or Jason nearby in gear, just in case.
A soft click is heard from his right earring, and he knows Alfred is listening.
"I really do." He says in a warm voice.
Drake seems skeptical.
"Danny always had people falling for him. I had to tell him Jenny Wilson wasn't asking him for a private tour of his kitchen when she tried to get him to bring her back to the penthouse. He honestly thought she cared about his grape peeler. He's like that, you know? Though thoughtful, caring, kind, intelligent, and strong, Danny can't see that people generally think he's what they would want in a romantic partner. I think he was bullied a lot as a kid before his adoption, and it's ruined his ability to see his worth."
Dick tries not to scowl. Yes, he's suspected the same thing. He just hopes it's not why Crowne has inflicted so much pain.
He can't stand people who use bullying as an excuse. It doesn't justify anything they do, it also demonizes the victims, and they get too scared to report what they are going through. ''I can't claim to not be like the other people because I don't know them. I know myself, and I can promise that every inch of me wants to see Danny living the life he deserves."
Whatever Drake is going to say gets cut off by Crowne walking back from the elevator carrying a box. "Tim, come look!"
He settles the box on the coffee table, so Drake can reach over and open it. There is a small gasp of delight from the boy as he pulls out a well-done Robin hoodie. It's not over the top like most Robin merch, but it's not subtle either. It's so nicely done. Dick can even tell it's based on Jason rather than him.
The second Robin is Drake's favorite. The teen prices it by holding it up and cheering, "Oh my gosh! I love it, I love it! Where did you get this!?"
"One of Nancy's friends is majoring in fashion design. She overheard me say I wanted to get the second Robin merch that wasn't a blatant grab for money, and she had her friend draw up some designs. I will sponsor her and sell her work in our stores."
Crowne is wearing a Robin hoodie of his own, but this one is based on Dick, and for a moment, his heart soars at the sight of Crowne in his family colors. It's a dangerous thing.
He knows one of the pitfalls of undercover work is getting too attached to the lies. He couldn't allow himself to actually fall for someone like Danny Crowne. Nothing good would come out of it once he saw him jailed for everything he's done.
He hasn't gotten anything to show Crowne's crimes, but Bruce had enough proof for the shell companies doing strange and dangerous experiments.
They needed to figure out what the experiments were attempting to do. Still, they found small clues: systematics showed weapons that didn't intend to harm humans, half-erased research on "eco-energy," what looked like machines attempting to rip holes in reality, and glowing green liquid that made Bruce pale when Jason brought back a simple.
It made Dick angry that the liquid prompted his ex-mentor to contact Talia al Ghul to ask, but she claimed to know nothing of Danny Crowne. Bruce felt she was lying, so after asking Wonder Woman and Superman for help, the big three went to Nanda Parbat to look for clues.
Dick wasn't sure what they found, but Bruce had a surprise for him back at the cave once he finished visiting his "boyfriend."
They could take down Crowne Co. with what they did have, but there was a chance Crowne could claim that his scientists went rogue and let them take the fall. Also, they didn't have any names of the scientists. It was like the invisible man was conducting them on his own.
Dick had to wait a little longer. See the big plan and unravel it so everything can never be rebuilt.
Yes, he's only seen a good man who may be socially awkward once you get past his regal composure, and his speech may be a bit too formal. A passionate inventor who always tried to find a new ways to improve people's lives, especially in medicine.
A man who cooked because he liked feeding people.
A man who offered a helping hand because his parents were often mocked for their careers- Dick suspected they may have been prostitutes based on the small comments of people thinking "it wasn't real jobs and they should be ashamed for themselves"- but most of all, Dick found a man who seemed lonely.
Someone lost after life displaced him, desperately trying to find himself again. It made Dick feel better knowing someone like him was doing the same.
"What is your opinion, Dick?" Crowne asks, doing a slight turn. Dic can't fight the urge to lean in for a quick kiss, telling himself it was all for the mission and the butterflies he felt in his stomach were terrible indigestion.
Crowne smiled into the kiss, pressing a second one on Dick's lips before leaning back, looking a little flustered still, and over his shoulder, he saw Drake's eyes narrow.
Maybe the kid was jealous?
He didn't know, but he better keeps an eye on Tim Drake. Something told him not to underestimate that boy.
"I got you a Nightwing too. The first Robin and Nightwing are one of my favorite heroes. They make me feel safe. I know I shouldn't worry with them guarding me at night." Crowne says, and Dick fights hard not to flinch.
You have no reason to feel guilt. It's for the mission.
He hopes he finds proof soon.

how did u psych urself up to go to therapy? my executive function has been awol for like 2 years and it's gotten to the point where it's wrecking my ability to do anything. i'm scared to waste a bunch of time and money going and getting told i'm just lazy or that the problem is just me
Happy to talk about that! But this is really two issues, so I gotta do a fly-by real first on "scared of getting told I'm just lazy". :D
It sounds to me like you're aware intellectually that laziness isn't the issue. You know this is an executive function issue and not a personal flaw, but I definitely get that it's hard to internalize that. So I'm going to drop links here to some discussion of "laziness":
How do you know you're not just lazy? (ask sent to me -- it's long, but you can skim for the laziness bits if you want.)
Lack of motivation means you are avoiding pain (second ask in response to the first)
Laziness Does Not Exist by Devon Price
These are essentially my proofs when I want to remind you that laziness is a label that stigmatizes an innate behavior -- inability to act is real, laziness is not. If a therapist tells you that you are lazy, and ESPECIALLY that you are the problem, you should fire that therapist. Don't even stay the rest of the session if you don't want to, just say "I see we are not compatible," and bounce. I don't think the odds are high that you'll encounter that, but on the off-chance that you do, that's a bright neon sign that they're a bad therapist.
In fact I would open with that pitch: "I'm struggling with executive function and the self-perception that I'm really just lazy. I need help with the actual executive function issues but also with how I view myself because of them." The therapist's response will tell you a lot about whether they'd be a good fit.
So with that out of the way...
I eased myself into therapy with the speed of a small child entering an extremely cold lake. It helped a lot that all of my therapy has been virtual via Zoom, so a lot of stuff that would have been a barrier, like going to the physical appointments, discomfort in a strange space, etc. were swept away.
I didn't even want to see a psychiatrist for my Adderall prescription, but I knew I needed help and medication seemed to be my best option, so with the assurances of several people that it wasn't therapy so much as mental health maintenance, I saw a psychiatrist. And he was lovely! (I just met with him yesterday to go over my next few months of scrip.) For a while that was all I did: talked every month to a kind person who asked specific and measurable questions about my mental health -- mood, sleep patterns, ability to work, hobbies -- without getting especially personal. I thought, okay, I can handle this, I can probably handle more, so I asked him for a recommendation for a therapist.
He looked at the network of independent practitioners he belonged to (Clarity Clinic Chicago, if you want an example of a good network) and found me a couple of options. I got extremely lucky to find someone I felt was appropriate for me right out of the gate, though some of that was also knowing what criteria I had: I wanted someone who explicitly stated they specialized in adult ADHD and disability, and who seemed like they were interested in addressing a whole person and not a single issue. When we met she seemed nice, wasn't pushy or judgey, was familiar with spoon theory and disability activism because she also has ADHD, and didn't blink (or ask overly invasive questions) when I said I was very uneasy about therapy because of past experience. She was comfortable with the ambiguity I brought -- I basically said "Look, I think this is something I need but I'm not entirely sure what my goals are yet, it's just I only recently found out I have ADHD and I am rethinking a lot of stuff," and she was like fine, let's rethink it together.
It still took me a long time to start talking about anything meaningful, but she handled the non-meaningful stuff as if it was serious and important, which helped. Admittedly I have really good insurance so I pay $20 a session for therapy, which also helps; it's pretty negligible in terms of health costs for me. I can afford to dawdle.
So, all that said...my path may not be an option for you, but I think it indicates the kinds of options you have. You don't have to jump into serious and heavily emotional processing first thing if you don't want to. You can shop around for therapists and you can drop any bad ones you encounter speedily, or if you find one you immediately like you can still spend time getting comfortable before dropping into the heavier stuff.
I would suggest that if you have a prescribing psych or doctor for any kind of mental health meds, ask them if they have a recommendation. If you don't have that, ask around people you know or believe have access to therapy and see what they think. If those aren't available to you or you're uncomfortable with that, I'd do a search for licensed therapist and your health insurance, or see if your workplace has an employee assistance program that can recommend you someone.
Good luck! I hope you get what you need. Lord knows I've been there.

As the first piece of furniture, a beige bed frame, arrived at Y/N's apartment, a sense of anticipation and excitement filled the air. Harry had insisted on being there to help, and Y/N was grateful for his presence. She watched with a subtle, appreciative smile as he quickly got to work, his sleeves rolled up, and his tie and blazer set aside.
Y/N couldn't help but admire the manliness of Harry as he sorted through the pieces and began assembling the bed frame. His skilled hands moved with precision, his muscles flexing subtly beneath his shirt. She found herself stealing glances at his physical appearance, his determination adding an extra layer of attractiveness.
Yet, amid her admiration, a tinge of annoyance gnawed at her. She couldn't help but think back to the passionate nights they had once shared in his luxurious apartment. Those memories were etched into her mind, a testament to the chemistry and intimacy they had once shared. She sighed softly, wondering how they had let something so special slip away.
“Thank you for doing this, Harry,” she said, her voice filled with appreciation as she handed him a bottle of water. “I don't know what I would've done without your help."
Harry paused for a moment to take a sip of water, his eyes meeting hers with a warm smile. "Of course. I'm here for you. I want to make sure everything is set up safely."
As they continued working on the bed frame together, Y/N couldn't help but remember the passionate nights they had spent in his apartment, their connection both physical and emotional. She had let him go once, but seeing him here, helping her build a life for their child, made her wonder if they had a second chance at happiness.
With each piece of furniture they assembled together, the bond between them grew stronger, and Y/N couldn't help but hope that this shared effort would lead to a future where they wouldn't have to let go again.
After successfully assembling the bed frame together, Y/N and Harry stood back to admire their handiwork. The beige bed frame now stood proudly in the corner of Y/N's bedroom, a symbol of their shared efforts and the new beginning they were building together.
Y/N couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment wash over her. It was more than just a piece of furniture; it was a tangible representation of their commitment to each other and to their future as co-parents.
As they shared a moment of quiet pride, Harry's gaze shifted to Y/N, a mischievous glint in his eye. "You know," he began, a playful grin tugging at his lips, "I think we've just invented a new form of couples' therapy—furniture assembly."
Y/N chuckled, her laughter infectious. "You might be onto something there. Who needs a therapist when you have an Allen wrench and a stubborn bed frame?"
Harry nodded, looking thoughtful. "We could start a business"
Y/N burst into laughter, and Harry joined in. It was a light-hearted moment, a stark contrast to the heavy conversations they'd had in the past.
With the bed frame successfully assembled, they decided to move on to the next piece of furniture—the cloud-like couch destined for the living room. It was a bit of a challenge due to its size, but their shared effort made the task feel less daunting.
Once the cloud couch was assembled and perfectly positioned in the living room, they both couldn't resist trying it out. They sank into its plush cushions, nestled close together. The comfort of the couch, combined with the closeness of their proximity, created a charged atmosphere.
Their gazes locked, and time seemed to stand still. The unspoken tension between them crackled like electricity in the air. Harry's thumb brushed against Y/N's cheek as he leaned in, his lips hovering just above hers.
Their breaths mingled, their hearts pounded, and at that moment, it felt as if they were suspended in a space where past and present collided. The weight of their emotions and unspoken words hung between them, a palpable reminder of the love they had once shared.
But before they could share the kiss they both longed for, the moment was shattered by an unexpected interruption. Patrick stood in the doorway, his expression a mixture of surprise and disapproval.
He cleared his throat, breaking the charged atmosphere in the room. "Am I interrupting something here?"
Y/N and Harry jerked apart, their faces flushed with embarrassment. Patrick's presence had effectively doused the romantic spark that had been building between them.
Y/N quickly composed herself, trying to hide her unease. "Patrick, this is Harry. Harry, meet Patrick, my friend and roomate."
Harry extended a hand toward Patrick, his expression friendly but somewhat tense. "Nice to finally meet you, Patrick."
Patrick's handshake was polite, but his eyes conveyed a hint of suspicion as he glanced between Y/N and Harry. "Likewise," he replied curtly.
The room felt suddenly awkward, and Patrick's disapproving presence hung in the air like an unwelcome guest. The interruption had left an undeniable mark on the atmosphere, and Y/N couldn't help but wonder how Patrick's arrival would impact the fragile dynamics between her and Harry.
The awkward tension in the room lingered as Y/N tried to bridge the gap between her two worlds. Patrick's unannounced appearance had disrupted the delicate balance she was trying to maintain between her past and her future.
Y/N cleared her throat, attempting to diffuse the palpable unease. "So, Patrick, what are you doing here? I though you were too busy".
Patrick's gaze remained fixed on Harry, his eyes sharp with scrutiny. "I was just dropping by to see if you needed any help with the furniture. But it seems like you've got it covered."
Y/N couldn't miss the underlying tone of skepticism in Patrick's voice. It was clear that he wasn't thrilled about Harry's presence.
Harry, on the other hand, sensed the tension and tried to ease the situation. "Actually, Patrick, your timing is perfect. We could use an extra pair of hands for the next piece of furniture."
Patrick's expression darkened slightly, and Y/N could sense his annoyance. "I thought we were going to spend some quality time together today. You and me"
Harry's voice remained composed as he addressed Patrick. "I didn't mean to intrude on your plans. If you'd rather have some alone time with Y/N, I can leave."
Patrick continued to be rude and unwelcoming toward Harry. Patrick even went as far as to ignore Harry's presence entirely, which only added to the tension in the room.
Y/N, feeling embarrassed by Patrick's behavior, attempted to mediate the situation. "Patrick, please, can we just finish assembling the furniture without all this tension?”
But Patrick's resentment remained palpable, and he gave no indication of relenting. Y/N watched in dismay as the two men she cared about clashed in her own home.
Harry, who had been trying to maintain his composure, finally reached his breaking point. He turned to Patrick, his voice cold and his expression hardened. “I understand you have your reservations, but there's no need to be so unwelcoming. We're all adults here.”
Patrick's response was cutting. “Harry, you shouldn't even be here. You're no longer a part of Y/N's life.”
Harry's temper flared, and his anger boiled over. “You don't get to decide that. I'm here because Y/N invited me, and I'm not going anywhere just because you say so.”
Y/N felt a sinking feeling in her chest as the confrontation escalated. She had hoped that Patrick and Harry could find a way to coexist for her sake and the sake of their unborn child, but it seemed like things were only getting worse.
The room felt like a battleground as Harry confronted Patrick about his place in Y/N's life. Patrick, his resentment simmering, couldn't contain his frustration any longer.
"You're no parent," Patrick snapped at Harry, his tone biting and accusatory. "You've been absent all this time. You don't get to show up now and act like you have every right."
Harry's jaw tightened, his voice laced with anger. "I didn't choose to be absent. Y/N kept this from me, and I've only just found out. I have every right to be a part of our child's life."
Y/N, her patience wearing thin, interjected angrily. "Patrick, don't assume things. I never said Harry chose to be absent. It's not fair to twist my words."
Patrick, though, remained defiant. "I just find it convenient that he shows up now, out of nowhere."
Harry's frustration mounted, and he turned to Y/N, seeking clarification. "Is that what you've been telling people? That I was absent because I wanted to be, not because you kept this from me?"
Y/N's eyes flared with anger. "No, Harry, that's not true, and you know it. I've never said that. Patrick, you're out of line."
The room seemed to crackle with tension as the three of them stood at an impasse. Y/N had hoped that her two worlds could coexist, but it was becoming increasingly clear that finding common ground would be far from easy.
Patrick's outrage reached its peak as Y/N seemingly chose Harry's side in the heated argument. His voice trembled with anger as he addressed her.
"After everything I've done for you, Y/N, you're choosing his side?" Patrick's face reddened, his frustration evident.
Y/N, her patience waning, locked eyes with Patrick, her tone firm. "you need to remember your place. You're my best friend, not my boyfriend or husband. Harry has every right to be involved in our child's life, and I won't stand in the way of that."
The room was filled with an uncomfortable silence as the weight of Y/N's words hung in the air. Patrick, though seething with anger, seemed to recognize the boundaries Y/N was drawing. It was a stark reminder that their relationship had its limits, and Y/N was determined to assert her independence and her right to make decisions about her child's future.
Patrick's frustration reached its peak, and he pointed a trembling finger at Harry, his voice demanding. "Leave. Now."
Harry, however, responded with a cold, humorless laugh. "You're going to have to try harder than that."
As Patrick attempted to step closer, his intention clearly to intimidate Harry, Harry stood his ground, his expression unwavering. Patrick's attempt to assert dominance did little to flinch Harry.
Y/N, growing increasingly alarmed by the escalating tension, stepped between the two men. "Enough, both of you! This isn't helping anyone."
The tension in the room reached a breaking point as Harry taunted Patrick, challenging him to take a swing. "Go on. Hit me”
Y/N, desperately trying to defuse the situation, stepped in between them, her voice trembling with urgency. "Please, stop it, both of you!"
But it was too late. Patrick, fueled by anger and frustration, roughly pushed Y/N aside, her startled cry filling the room. With a fiery rage in his eyes, he landed a hard punch on Harry's jaw.
The room fell into stunned silence as Harry staggered back, his hand reaching for his throbbing jaw.

Resources for parenting a werewolf
With the compliments of the Lunar Foundation: social work for the wolfish.
Becoming a parent or caregiving packmate to your first werewolf child is always a steep learning curve. Whether you are a werewolf yourself or not, and regardless the age of the child, parenting a lupine shapeshifter comes with challenges you will probably not encounter anywhere else. The Lunar Foundation has various resources available that you can access at any time:
► Find healthcare with a paw print of approval. Access our website noneedtohowlalone.com for a full registry of (health)care professionals who have the appropriate specialization to treat werewolves. This includes physical therapists, chiropractors, osteopaths and masseurs that specialize in working with shapeshifters to handle the physical strain of (involuntary) transformations.
► Our “Who’s a good baby?” parenting package. For parents to the littlest pups. Includes some basic (were)wolf biology, a list of transformation-safe clothing, education on food and nutrition, and information on shapeshifter-safe childcare.
► The Full Moon Prep Kit. A great place to start at any stage and for any age. Adaptable to every individuals needs and habits.
► Tips for inside transformations. Until children have developed the necessary self-control to roam free during their transformations a little preparation will go a long way to protect them and their surroundings (and your furniture).
► Methods to gain control of transformations. A practical resource for older children who are struggling with involuntary shifting. Can be shared directly or used to read up on the subject before discussing it.
We are currently working on turning many of our workshops and presentations into online courses, but please feel welcome at any of our community centers at any time, including full moon nights!

DJ Music Man
Not really big on any social interactions but loves the friends he has
Wants to add a lot of smoke to the dance floor and even more lights
Even after hours he still keeps going with the music, he has to physically be stopped
He loves to see someone that can really dance on the dance floor and will play every song he wants them to
Got in trouble once because Monty let him play inappropriate music and he still doesn't know what he did wrong

It's always "people with ASPD don't seek out or stick with treatment" and not "we make it ridiculously difficult for a patient to find ANY therapist at all, let alone one who isn't ableist or knows how to work with personality disorders" even though only the second one is true.
Why haven't I had a therapist in over 6 months? Because I have to sort through this massive list of providers my medicare provides since I'm disabled, google every single one to find their specialities (if they have any listed), and realize none specialize in anything but depression, anxiety, addiction, and ADHD.
I'm not saying people with just those things don't need help! What I AM saying is that if a health insurance plan for disability is going to have limited "in-network" providers, then they should do at least SOME basic research to make sure that list is inclusive for a wide range of mental health needs. You wouldn't have a list of specialists but leave off cardiology, so why would you have a list of mental health specialists and leave off personality disorders, dissociation, and oh yeah - PTSD. Seriously, I found one trauma specialist in this massive list and they are a child specialist who shows up for adults because they help parents.
And again, that's great/gen but also adults have PTSD wtf it's one of the major reasons physically abled people need disability.

How I accidentally traumatized my therapist at the age of nine
A short and unfortunately true story from the time when I was still going to therapy. I was nine years old at that time and my mom had only told me that I was going to a "doctor for the soul". I usually went there, my therapist asked me if anything new had happened with my father, I replied no, and we played games until it was time for me to leave. It was quite chill and until a few years ago I didn't really understand the whole point. But now, looking back, I see things a bit… differently. If you don’t understand what I mean, maybe this example explains it:
Ms. Therapist: "Hello, KitCat (because of course I was already called KitCat back then ;). Today I have a very special game for you. Here's a stack of cards with questions and you and I are going to answer them together. Okay?" Nine y.o. me: "Sure, why not." Ms. Therapist: "All right, let's get started. *Takes a card* Ah, that’s a quite difficult one: What's the worst thing one could do to a child? Please think about it for a few minutes and then we'll discuss it." Nine yo me: Hah, that's easy. But I want to do the task properly. *Remembers every trauma that was ever heard of.* — A few minutes later — Ms. Therapist: "All right, what's your answer?" Nine y.o. me *grinning widely because I tried so hard and found the perfect answers*: "Lock them up somewhere deep down in the earth, never let them see the light of day, torture them, mutilate them, beat them, physically abuse them, and do everything I said before to their loved ones. *Small pause* Of course in front of their eyes, so that it has an effect on them." Ms. Therapist *visibly shocked, or at least startled by my answer*: "A-ha. Well. Uhm. Are you sure about that?" Nine y.o. me *disappointed because my answer wasn’t as good as I thought*: "But… why shouldn’t I? Is my answer wrong?" Ms. Therapist: "No no, of course not! It’s just, well, not exactly what I expected, that’s all. I thought we would go more in a… passive direction?" Nine y.o. me: "Well then, what's your answer?" Ms. Therapist: "The worst thing one could do to a child is to… ignore it." Nine y.o. me: "Ohhh, I understand. So you mean psychological abuse! I knew something was missing…" Ms. Therapist: "That’s not what I meant with that- you don’t need adding it to your, uh, list. It is already comprehensive enough. But imagine; wouldn’t it be hard to always be ignored? Children need a lot of attention." Nine y.o. me *tilts the head curious to the side*: "So you would rather be ignored than tortured? You’re a strange doctor."
For some reason, we’ve never played that game again. Sad, actually. I was having quite a lot fun. Looking back, it’s one of my most embarrassing and funniest memories. Like- I really wanted to win that game. Although you couldn’t win because it wasn't a competition. I even discussed the whole "You truly think being ignored is worse than being tortured?"-thing with her for at least ten more minutes. Eventually, my therapist said "I guess you can look at it either way. It's probably a draw", just so that I would finally shut the duck up about it. ...I don’t know why, but my old me was so embarrassing and clueless I’m cringing and laughing every time I think about this.
(PS: Please don’t do anything I mentioned above. And to all who worry about me now: No, of course I didn’t speak out of own experience, I just gathered a lot bad stuff from the TV and books. Also not even my dad ignored me (and my mom is da best), I don’t know why the therapist brought it up. Anyway, have a nice day!)

NSB (Straud Legacy) Gen 9 Ep 93: The Shape of You
Luigi wasn’t alone in being anxious about the pregnancy.
Despite a relatively complication free first trimester, when they arrived at their second trimester appointment with Dr. Valezquez, the experienced therapist took one look at Noemi’s troubled expression and ill-fitting outfit and immediately recognized a sim in desperate need of comforting.
She welcomed them both warmly and jumped right in: “Our last session was quite focused on Luigi’s concerns. This time, let’s start with the mother to be. Adjusting to big changes like this can give anyone a hard time, and we’re here to find ways to help. So how are you feeling, dear?”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Noemi replied that she’d had a very helpful glimpse into their future recently. “Luigi’s teammate just had an adorable little baby boy and invited us over for dinner. Breanne, his wife, has already raised one child and told me a lot about what to expect in the years to come.”
Luigi jumped in to say that the way his co-captain had taken to the baby gave him great hope for his own child when Dr. Valezquez cut him off.
“Yes, spending time with other parents of a similar age can be very helpful, but we were waiting to hear how Noemi was feeling.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“I’ve been taking very good care of myself, cooking healthy meals and avoiding junk food and empty calories. I’m also fully back into my old fitness regime and pushing more weight at the gym than ever before.” As she spoke, even Luigi noticed how she unconsciously seemed to hide her belly.
He thought back to noticing her longing looks at the sugary breakfast cereal he’d bought for her as she prepared a low-fat egg white omelet, and the way she’d been working out to the point of exhaustion. He glanced at the therapist and asked: “Is it possible to be in too good a shape?”
“Not necessarily” the Doctor said, “But it raises an important question. Noemi, what do you think the healthiest shape is, for someone growing a whole new person right around … here?” She pantomimed a baby belly on herself, rounded and projecting. “And the healthiest frame of mind?”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Noemi’s eyes filled with tears at the question. She grabbed some tissues from the box Dr. Velasquez kept on hand and snuggled into her boyfriends' outstretched arms to explain: “The changes to my body are freaking me out a bit. My mom said a lot of hurtful things about my weight when I hit puberty. That’s when I started focusing more on working out and eating healthy.”
“My departed wife, Kiana, helped me learn to love and accept myself, but mom’s unkind words when we told her about the baby brought all those insecurities roaring back to the surface. Suddenly I was right back to hating looking at myself in the mirror.” She buried her face in Luigi’s shoulder. “I’m afraid if I put on baby weight, I’ll never get rid of it. ”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“It’s normal to struggle with the physical changes pregnancy brings, especially for people who’ve struggled with their body image in the past” their therapist gently told her. “But it’s important for you and your baby to get the fuel and rest you need to grow in healthy ways. Feel free to keep doing exercises that feel comfortable, but now isn’t the time to push harder.”  She smiled. “Don’t worry, you’ll get to do all the pushing you want at the end.”
“If mirrors make it harder to love yourself, please, let your doctors and family support you there.” She looked at Luigi “Can we count on you to help Noemi see that she is beautiful and loved?”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Of course!” he said “Noemi will always be beautiful to me, no matter what. I just want her and the baby to be happy and healthy.”
“Great!” Dr. Valezquez beamed. “It’s a special time, enjoy it! Noemi, savor those cravings and enjoy whatever food your body calls for. Go shopping for something that shows off your new shape, rather than trying to hide it.”
Unknowingly mirroring Beau she continued: “Most importantly, start getting excited about the baby to come. It may help you both to remember this is really all about the third person on my couch right now.”
“I recommending finding out your little one's gender at your next OB visit and start trying out names. Studies show that finding out the gender of an unborn baby and giving him or her a name helps with bonding. Buy some cute things to decorate their room, talk to them, and wait for those baby kicks to start in earnest!” The doctor patted her own belly with a faraway look in her eye. “Getting prepared ahead of time will make things much easier when your baby finally arrives.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The couple left their session that day with lots of “homework”, but in a much better frame of mind than the last time.
They would have one more session before the baby was born, and they both hoped to have made some progress, and have good news to share, by the time that final appointment rolled around.

INFILTRATE LEASEBOUND DAY #3: childhood 🏡🍼
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don’t have the energy to draw right now.
this is what I would look like if I gave into Rusty Leasebound’s idea of what my private parts and sexual orientation make me.
remove the background, replace it with the most boring dormitory room imaginable with a “vagitarian” shirt hanging up or somethin, I dunno
At 15 months old, I lost the ability to speak, and most physical capabilities. At 2 years old, my family was told I likely had Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as significant prefrontal brain damage. At 4 years old, my diagnosis was finalized. Autism Spectrum Disorder; a scary set of words for my parents. They were new to this, I was only the 2nd child they’d had, 3 years after my older sister. 2007 wasn’t a great era to be a new parent with a disabled child.
People thought I was a lost cause. I could not walk down a flight of stairs. I could not put on shoes. I could not say my own name. Kara, Kara, Kara. Ag Dia, I could not say Kara.
My childhood is blurry, for unfortunately obvious reasons. But what I know is that, one day, the folks at that old special needs daycare for me to wash my hands. Liesel, my physical therapist, got me walk down a flight of stairs. My lovely family taught me that name, the one I… well, I don’t go by it anymore. But I can say it. Kara. I can say Kara, and it brings my family the most joy they could ever have that I can say that.
I want to design characters. Make games, write books, tell stories for kids like me. For trans kids like me. Those who were thought to have no control. That we’d just stay a vegetable. But, we have the power to say the name that was ours, and to say our true names.
Tumblr media
My name is Angel McKeown. Angel, Angel, ANGEL. Say it loud, it took me 15 years to.

Wild Kratts Headcanons: Aviva and Zach Part 2
These head canons are more family related. Part 1 is right here.
I don't know how many of you watched a show called 'Growing Up Creepie' when you were young, but i recently found out Aviva and the main character have the same voice actor (Athena Karkanis) so her headcanons are slightly inspired by that show.
Tumblr media
Anyway lets get into it
Aviva was adopted by two loving parents at a young age
She was one of the many children her parents fostered or adopted
Her mom is a physical therapist
Her dad is a science teacher
She has two older adopted siblings
I can't decide if they would be two brothers or a brother and sister but they are about 4-6 years older than her
She has lots of cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, etc
Her dad’s side is afro latino. He and her grandmother made sure she learned spanish
Her mothers side is Asian
She is very close with her grandmother as well
She and her siblings spent summer at her grandmother’s house all the time growing up
She was homeschooled until middle school age
Her parents sent her to science camp so she could develop friendships with people her age with similar interests
Obviously that's where her and Zach met
Tumblr media
Zach grew up with his biological mother and father
He is an only child
His family is pretty small in general tho
It's just him, his parents, his grandparents, and maybe one or two cousins, one of those cousins being Paisley Paver
He doesn't see his extended family often, they usually just send him money for special occasions instead of actually coming to see him
He’s closer to his mom than his dad, hence why he’s always shouting “mommy!” in the show when he gets scared
His parents owned the tech company that Zach now owns
He was close with Martin and Chris as kids and thought of them as his brothers when they were young (before they fell out too lol)
He was very spoiled since he was the only child and his parents are very rich
Low key wanted a sibling but also didn't like the thought of having to share stuff with them
Though his parent bought him anything he wanted they weren't there emotionally for him as they should have been
They love him and everything but they only show their affection to him when he does something to impress them
His parents were away on business a lot so his nannies were basically his parents
I think they would kinda give the same vibes as the Blossoms from the show 'Riverdale'
Tumblr media
Zach’s parents didn't know who Aviva was until they were in high school
They were constantly berating him for not having any friends and he accidentally brought her up
He regrets telling them about her tho because they constantly compare her to him
Probably said some nasty comments about her being adopted too
Aviva’s parents know who Zach is, they know him very well actually
Sometimes when Zach’s parents were away he would stay at Aviva’s house
He lived in a huge and dark mansion and it got lonely sometimes, especially being a young child by himself
They fed him, gave him a place to sleep when he needed it, and treated him as if he were their child
Aviva’s siblings loved having him around
Him and Aviva would stay up all night playing and swapping invention ideas
Zach low key wanted Aviva’s parents to adopt him
He also never told his parents that he was staying over at her house

Binged all of The Boys episodes and the more I watched, the bigger the snowball became when Homelander was on screen. There are a lot of thoughts for him particular (plus his actor, Antony) and I don’t even know where to begin. Homelander is so messed up in more ways than one but I have stressed over and over it’s what makes him a good villain. There is nothing good about him, there is nothing you should be defending him over. He’s a legitimately a character you should never defend and baby over. Every little thing Homelander has done is downright cruel and unforgivable. I could analyze him every single day and not be tired of it because he’s truthfully interesting.
You watch Homelander charge into the same brick wall over and over again in the 3 seasons that’s aired and he finally breaks through it in the last episode in season 3. You continuously see him with his pants on fire, not thinking clear due to being traumatized and not having anyone guide him into a right path even now that he’s older. I genuinely hated seeing him literally long for Madelyn’s attention and love, being so touch starved it was pathetic in its own way. Watching her use him without him even noticing in the slightest, believing this was how everyone was treated with love. Homelander was Madelyn’s Golden Boy of the 7 and nothing more. I think she cared a TEENY bit for him out of pity but I don’t think there was nothing else there. If he wasn’t throwing a tantrum and causing hell rise in the city, he was out of her hair for the week. When he was seeking attention like a small boy, she’d reach her hand out to ease those feelings for a little by giving false hope and lies to make him shut up for the mean time. It just hurt a lot to watch Homelander be treated like that.
Which brings me to the company in general. They all treated Homelander like some type of special gift to humanity, feeding his narcissism and ego which truthfully led him into what he became. You could not tell me they didn’t know what they were doing with the child when he was growing up, grooming him and making him into a perfect little golden child. Homelander was America’s Sweetheart, never able to hurt a butterfly or animal. He wasn’t supposed to act out, being fed into fears of being punished. Honestly, with these moments you find out in the show, I couldn’t help but slowly understand why Homelander was turning into a monster in real time; showing his feeelings he’s had to cover for years on end, showing his touch starved self because he couldn’t hold it anymore. Homelander needed to express these feelings and thoughts from years of torture and grooming so can you really blame him for finally lashing out and becoming insane?
Though, I don’t condone in his actions at all. If Vought truly knew that their sweet little Golden Boy was a ticking time bomb, why didn’t they feed him a therapist and a psychiatrist? You could pull out: “He’d give out too much information” and that’s a reasonable thought. Yet, you know that the Vought had their “people” and they could’ve easily hired one of those professionals with a gun to their head to let Homelander vent. I’m so curious of what he would’ve turned out to be if they just… Thought with their brains instead of their dicks for him. Maybe, the company wouldn’t have crumbled the way it did if they just thought. I guess, truthfully, it wouldn’t be a good show if Homelander got the treatment he desperately needed.
There’s so much I could analyze and ramble about but I think I’ll hold onto those thoughts for another time. I really love Homelander, his characteristics are eye catching. Morbid, but I find it beautiful of how he reacts and thinks. I like his train of thoughts, learning that the simplest of words could trigger him into a melt down and kill everyone in the room. The way his inner child bursts through when he doesn’t earn what he wants, stomping his foot and physically pouting in front of his team when he doesn’t like. something. Homelander, to me, is just a scared parentless child who’s afraid in this dark room they threw him in. Sure, he’s like, 41 years old or something and looks like a grown man but in reality Homelander is a child controlling the mind of a man. I think he starts actually maturing when Stormfront appears in his life because she knew how to speak to him unlike the others. Even if his childish acts appear across his face when he doesn’t get his way every so often.
I stand by these words when I say: I don’t want Homelander fixed. He is not a fixable character, he shouldn’t be a fixable character. I’m kinda antsy for the last 2 seasons for his development in the show because I don’t want him to be forgiven of his crimes. Not every character should be “fixed” and “forgiven” because some deserve an awful death/life for what they did. I hate when people do that to the bad characters because “everyone deserves redemption”. Homelander had his chances and blew it not even once but multiple times so no, don’t fix it. It’d be a good story to see him crash and burn head first, losing all of his humanity for good and possibly, just possibly, killing Ryan and himself out of pure andrenline. Watching him stand there in the burning fire, not wanting to handle it would be just fine with me. I don’t have a problem of killing off Homelander though, some people would disagree about that. I don’t understand why you’d get your panties in a twist over that theory? Why not have a spicy ending for a man like him, watching him lose it once and for all while sobbing over it before just… Ending it with Ryan. You get to watch a legit Madman become too much and fall just like that.
Homelander to me is like a Rubik’s cube. I can twist and turn all of these pieces of him, analyzing him from the front to back, side to side, and not get tired of it. I’d like to finish the puzzle though, lmfao, but it has been a long time since I’ve fallen for a character- let alone, villain- like him. Something that’s actually written correctly and intersting to indulge into. It’s why I enjoy talking about him because there are so many hit points Homelander has that I can’t stop pointing out.
Anyways, I wanted to talk about Antony Starr acting as him. Maybe I am a teeny bit bias for it but I don’t think they couldn’t have found anyone better. Antony really shows the emotions in his voice and facial expressions - a lot of actors don’t grasp. I love seeing him enjoy being Homelander, taking his role seriously (on and off set LMFAO) and making Homelander real to everyone. He shows Homelander's emotions in ways I can't describe but I think it's so amazing he's able to get the viewer to cry along.
If you watch closely, you notice ticks Antony has when he's in character. I notice he stutters when he's mad, which I'm not sure if that's just supposed to be Homelander in the script but I don't think it is truthfully. It's endearing, seeing Antony make Homelander be vulnerable in those moments, or when he's switching personalities on the fly. The scene in season 2 where he's in the forest, trying to cry before laughing from insanity trickling in really sold and captivated me. Antony in general is an amazing actor, I honestly understand why people praises his work all the time.
In awe over Antony in general, not sure how someone can look so intimidating by snarling their teeth before smiling sweetly with their canines showing. It takes real hard work to switch on the fly like that especially for a character like Homelander. I hope to see more of his work one day and I'd like to see Antony expand his horizons in acting instead of always staying with the villains.
Back on Homelander now.
The scene in one of the episodes in s3, where Homelander is fighting with himself in the mirror. It kind of lives inside my head, seeing his mentally unwell side take over his humanity thoughts. The way it barks at him, crushing his inner child when Homelander replies: "I just wanted them... To love me." with tears in his eyes before it started harping at him. Once again asking to the sky, why no one tried to help him out. If you truly examined Homelander in Vought, you could easily tell there was something unwell with him. I guess people are blinded by money.
All Homelander yearned and ached for was genuine love and attention. The crowds feeding his egos will never sew up the holes in his heart, it will never be a true Mother and Father love like he assumes. No one, not even Madelyn and Stormfront, could've sewn up that ache in his chest. He wanted to believe it did in those moments, thinking it was curing him when it wasn't at the all. It never will.
It brings me to Ryan. What Homelander did to Becca was horrible and I really despise the fact he did it. Forcing a woman to hide with his son that he didn't care about first, believing it was already a mini soldier when he met it was just so... I suppose he had to learn in the wrong way since no one has showed him attention like that. Ryan to Homelander was just a void to fill in, believing if he forces himself onto Ryan and live carelessly through the child, he would fix his own traumatic past.
What he did was wrong in every way, making me grit my teeth because if he just listened to Becca, maybe things could've been a little different. Homelander has a very strong stubborn streak inside of him, hating being tied down and being told what to do so Becca trying to tell him to NOT take Ryan away, it gave Homelander flashbacks of being told what to do.
Simple terms: Homelander's inner child threw a tantrum and ignored what the person was trying to make him understand.
I don't doubt Homelander loves Ryan, especially in s3 he shows it more. I don't agree what he was doing to Ryan in s2, feeding lies into the child's mind with Stormfront's help and making it worse. I think, when Homelander lays his eyes on his son, he only sees himself and it scares him. He never wanted Ryan to be a captive, living under a rock with no outside world like he did when he was younger but it's kind of hard to break a cycle.
Especially when you're also off the deep end, your brain barely registering what's good and what's evil. Homelander wants to protect Ryan but again... He's doing it in the wrong way. I roll my eyes at his antics but I also remember: Homelander never had parents so how does he genuinely know what he's doing to the kid? For all we know in Homelander's mind, it's sunshine and rainbows to Ryan and the kid itself won't know anything different now. (Especially with the nonstop of Grace and Butcher hounding him before Homelander took him back)
I could rant more and let my thoughts scatter across the floor like marbles but I think I'll stop here. My brain is fried entirely and I just really, really love Homelander and Antony. I'm not looking for fights and "YEA BUT-" because bitch it is a fictional [mentally ill] man and a irl man who's living inside my head rent free. I just wanted to express thoughts I've held in for 2 weeks of watching the show and I'm letting them be free. I wish I could be free from this torment.

Natascha & Nikolai Pavlenko
Natascha and Nikolai are fraternal twins. Natascha is older by 19 minutes. They celebrate their birthday together on 18 December, but Natascha was actually born at 11:46 p.m. on 17 December and Nikolai was born at 12:05 a.m. on 18 December. Neither of them even knew they had unique birthdays until they turned 18 and Natascha was applying for her first passport and needed her birth certificate (Nikolai already had his passport at age 13, so he could travel to compete in international skating competitions). Learning that they have different birthdays was a bit of a shock to them at first, but Natascha soon decided that she preferred to keep celebrating her birthday on the same day as her twin brother.
Natascha's real name is Natalya. 'Natascha' is actually a diminutive. She and Nikolai are known to their family by their diminutive names, and while Nikolai prefers to be called Kolya only by family and close friends, Natascha would rather have everyone use her diminutive all the time. This irritates the twins' father, but Natascha isn't particularly bothered by the fact that he doesn't like it.
They're not identical twins, but they do have identical heart-shaped birthmarks on their backs.
Nikolai is a former competitive figure skater and is currently a skating coach. Natascha is a physical therapist specializing in therapy for athletes. Her most notable set of clients is the Brindleton Bay Mariners hockey team
Although Natascha isn't as athletic as her brother, she really enjoys sports. Her favourites are cycling, swimming and tennis. She and Nikolai love to go cycling together, and they like to skate together for fun.
Nikolai is a cat person. Natascha is a dog person.
Their favourite colour is green
Both of them were married, and both got divorced from their respective spouses within three years. As of now, neither twin has remarried, although Nikolai is currently engaged.
Natascha has no regrets about being child-free. She likes the freedom to come and go as she pleases. She loves to travel and likes that she doesn't need to base her decisions around somebody else. Nikolai also doesn't regret not becoming a parent. He doesn't feel confident that he'd be a particularly good parent, and the idea of having someone be totally dependent on him is terrifying. Although he really likes taking care of others and enjoys working with children, he's happy not having to worry about a child of his own.
Unlike his sister, Nikolai absolutely does not like to travel. He especially dislikes flying, mostly because he suffers from airsickness and flights are always an awful experience for him.

holy shit. I didn't think Gojo could sink any lower in WE but then he put his hands around her neck and CHOKED her. immediately no!! the reddest of red flags!!! she needs to run in the opposite direction and not look back
there is really no hope or redemption for abusive men who put their hands on their partners in such a violent and sadistic way I'm sorry!! there is simply no way to come back from that. even if they eventually end up on better terms, their entire relationship will be overshadowed by the fact that he physically abused her on their wedding day in a fit of narcissistic rage. damn.
it doesn't matter what he suspects her of doing (stealing the earrings that she would somehow even know about or know where they were kept in his room???) or even if he thinks she's a gold digger who made a deal for money with his parents, nothing warrants straight up strangulation!!! walk away girl!!!! you shouldn't have to play therapist to try and fix a broken man and you sure as hell don't deserve to be a punching bag while he sorts out his own fucking mess
This is not a child who doesn't know any better. this is a fully grown adult man that is using his shitty relationship with his parents as a reason to take out his anger on someone weaker and more vulnerable in every sense. physically, financially, and social-status wise.
OH and the fact that his parents know about his violent tendencies and allowed y/n to be with him after that?!? they're sick in the head too. they sent her to the slaughterhouse and had the audacity to act sorry about it omg. The mom is worse imo because she's also a massive enabler of his atrocious behaviour. She knows exactly who her son is and still allowed an innocent woman to fall into the path of his destruction. all to save their shitty image. fuck the royal family reputation shit bro y'all aint special or different you still eat shit and sleep like the rest of us!!! ugh screw the lot of them (except Suguru bahaha)
honestly Himiko.......... you can keep him girly pop lmao!!! no wonder they're so attracted to one another, they're both terrible human beings tripping on the imaginary power they think they have over the rest of society. smh. all that money and still no class.
p.s I hope the damn butler dude who delivered the earrings exposes all they ugly asses!!!!! fuck them up!!!
Honestly, I’m so excited to see how else this fic turns out, because there was a massive reason behind Satoru’s rampage, not saying it could ever hope to justify why he was so angry to the point of strangling Y/N, but there is some layer of complexity to his destructive behavior that only Himiko knows about in the rawest sense. What makes her actions more disturbing is the fact that she knew about all that and still chose to exploit it to put Y/N in the frying pan. This woman knows nothing but hatred, greed is her God, and when Satoru was completely broken, she put his pieces back together however she wanted which is the reason we have this version of Satoru today.
Not saying he’s blameless, but if there’s one thing I’ll stand by, it’s the chilling fact that Himiko has toyed with the prince long enough and all that is about to come crashing down at her feet. Before all this, just a saddening fact, Satoru was just as beloved as Suguru in the court of public opinion, his people loved him, and he wasn’t so different from Y/N herself.
As his father said to Himiko in the first chapter: “I’ve allowed you to lead my son astray long enough.”
