Hey, you know how Cyber Monday happened? Well I was weak and my pin collection grew(also got other stuff, but this is a pin collection post.

Firstly, from a shop we've seen in my other pin collection post, we have stuff from starfishface's shop

Nice simple design for a nice simple concept, yes, please ask about my OCs. Very nice

And as most if not all of her pin have, a rubber star shaped back

In contrast to the last one, this one is somewhat busy, which fits with it being a hoard of dice and yet doesn't over power anything. And of course being called a dice hoarder is an accurate description. Again, very good

Do you have any comic tips for beginners making comics?

honestly? just start with small ones. do two pagers, stuff like that, cuz if youre wanting to finally tell that epic story youve had in your head for years, youre gonna give up half way through because you don't like how you did it. you have to start somewhere so just start

dont worry about it being a masterpiece just make comics for the sake of making them!

as for technique i made a post talking about how i do page layout

and i HIGHLY recommend getting a copy of How to Webcomic by @starfishface (theres a new 2023 version too!) because she really knows her stuff!

Welp watched starfishface character writing 101 video

There she used an exel sheet to make the characters and i was like "i could also do that" so yeah i drew two characters (rolled a d4 and got 2)

So here are the two, end up with two elfs, it was really fun to draw tho

Going a bit over their each character

The white one is a male elf rouge with the urchin background and his pallet color white, i made him also a phantom rouge

While at first kinda strugle with his backstory i think i got the gist of it, he is oldest son of a well respected family of elfs, since very little he was enamour by the church of his town, he help around but was never able to hear his god respond to his prayers, however due to his agility and strange power of the specter he would become an assasin for the church eleminating those who carved in the path of evil, he isnt particularly sadistic or enjoys his job but views it as his calling to serve his god

As for the black one, she is a female elf warklock with the entretainer background with a black color scheme, i also made her a genie warklock and the little sister of the elf rouge

As for her backstory, dispite her incredible talent at manipulating people since a young age, she had a big infiriory complex regarding her brother, dispite falling to be a cleric she always say him as someone extrordinare far beyond her reach, someone respected and admire in her view the center of attenciom, thats why when a genie lamp found her way into her hands she took no time to make a deal with it "to be at the center of it all", as such she became the warklock of a fire ginie becoming an entretainer fufilling her desire to be on the spotlight at any cost

Despite some of the general friction bettwen the two siblings they do get along, the rouge doesnt like "his genie friend" nor her little devil summon and well she doesnt like his brothers church despite that both take jobs and help each other out as adventures of... sometimes questionable moralaty
