First, there was Him and then, the universe He created. Ideas out of his head that turned into the cosmos, empty space for Him to explore, to design to His liking. He flew with wings of diamond through the vastness of space, created colours in the sky and became aware of the loneliness in His heart.

This universe of His, ever-expanding and all for Himself….It was not what He wanted so He changed it for He was the truth, He was the path. From the colours of the skies, He created stones, tough and beautiful, for Him to mold. He carved the shapes of His children from them and fused them with His divine core, divinity laced with the sculpture to create Life.

The first to come He created from lapis lazuli, a child with royalty in their veins, truth in their tongue, a soldier meant to be like God. Their eyes opened to show the brightest of blue, his sharp wings like silver with stones scattered through them. A masterpiece sculpted with precision and love. “Michael….” He called them, a kiss to their forehead, giving them a place by His side. “You are Divine and Noble, you will be my Prince.” And so it was for His words were what molded what would be.

The second to come was created from ruby, a child with passion in their heart and determination in their mind, a light bringer meant to shine with hope. Their eyes opened, deep red in them, wings of gold with stones in throughout. A beautiful creation, sculpted with confidence and no hesitation. “Lucifer…” He called them, a kiss to each cheek, giving them a place by His side. “You are Holy and Grand, you will be my Commander.” And so it was for His words were the only truth that could be.

And with His children by His side, God found peace of mind. He gave Himself a name, born in time with His children, the First Father to ever be: David. And so with His family, the universe thrived. With His guidance, the three of them created solar systems, Michael helping to make planets and Lucifer helping to lighten the sky with stars.

The word Home was spoken for the first time by David as He decided to make a place for Him and His children to rest, a place of glorious beauty, a palace with many rooms, precious gemstones decorating every building He created, a city that He would name Heaven, a paradise amongst the stars, beyond the grasp from anyone but Himself and His family.

With His children, David created a garden as well, luscious grass, colourful plants of all kinds, blue skies and warm sunshine. A place for them to rest, a place for them to enjoy together. And time passed, as it always does. Though time was not yet meant to be quantified for He hadn’t made it so.

It was then that He decided to make His children companions, His beautiful city needing more citizens to inhabit it and so, God went to His children and from them He asked for the same: a piece of the stone in their hearts, taken to make new Archangels, bonded to them forever. Michael opened his heart and a piece of lapiz lazuli was given to God without hesitation, deep blue with gold on it that God took and linked to a piece of amber, threading divinity through both before sculpting a new child.

Amber and lapiz lazuli, the newborn opened their eyes, shining like honey, their sharp wings like blue steel with amber stones scatted through them. A gorgeous creature made with nurture and warmth. “Raphael…” He called them, a kiss to their hands, giving them a purpose by Michael’s side. “You are Divine and Gentle, you will be my Healer.” And so it was because His voice marked the path.

He then went to Lucifer and asked the same from them, a piece of the stone in their heart. Lucifer showed his heart and a piece of ruby was given to God without a second thought, precious red that God took and linked to a piece of tiger eye, threading divinity through both stones before sculpting a new child. Ruby and tiger eye, the newborn opened their eyes, gorgeous shades of brown and gold in them, sharp wings like red ruby with tiger eye in them throughout. A delightful piece of art made calmly and with patience. “Gabriel…” He called them, a kiss to their nose, giving them a place by Lucifer’s side. “You are Holy and Persistent, you will be my Messenger.” And so it was because His voice marked the path.

Now a family of four, they continued to create. Gabriel made comets shot through the sky and Raphel painted nebulas in the vastness of space. This was their Universe, magnificent in every way. They were happy and there was peace. Life went on and David knew that stories would be created so He went to find Sunstone, sculpting a new child from it. A lovely creation, made of vitality and joy. And the new kid opened their eyes, a golden salmon in them, wings of bronze with stones decorating them. “Metatron…” He called them. “You are Graceful and Creative, you will be my Scribe.” And so it was, for His words were the first story to ever be told.

Happy now with His children, David created a workshop in his palace. He took stones of different kinds and created angels of different kinds, of different ranks, with different tasks to fulfill. With rose quartz He created cherubs, from smoky quartz He made the thrones, with rutilated quartz He brought seraphim to life, He took milky quartz to make guardian angels and lemon quartz to make simple angels as well. He made each of them with love in their minds and loyalty in their hearts, to Heaven, to His archangels, to Him.

Times were peaceful, Michael and Gabriel taught their new siblings to fight and to love their Lord, Raphael, and Lucifer taught their siblings of the vastness of the universe and to be kind. Things were well and Heaven thrived but David, ever creator continued to be inspired, continued to create. In His workshop back at the palace of Heaven, He formed new universes, keeping them in glass marbles for Him to visit, for Him to admire and enjoy. But still, He was not satisfied and so, He created Humanity.

There was an Adam and there was an Eve and they were beautiful. Naive and new, God loved them so. In every universe, He placed His humans and He called upon His children, showing them his new children of His, the Lord spoke: “You shall love my children like you love me. You shall serve humanity and protect them from harm. You shall hear their prayers when they come and you shall be there for them in their times of need. This I say and it must be, this is my Will.” And the angels sang: Holy, Holy, Holy. And they took upon their roles, good and obedient and loyal.

Except one.

Doubt made a home on Michael’s mind, constricted in Heaven, made to take care of children when they were an archangel, right hand to God. They who once played along the cosmos was now reduced to caretaker. They who were like God, told to serve, unable to create more, their royalty turned to servitude, their divinity made less by simple mortals. It couldn’t be so, it wasn’t right. God would remain above, praised and holy, why should His children be different? Why should Michael be different?

The tensions grew, doubt like a sickness, spreading through Heaven under David’s nose, too focused on His universes to see….To prevent. Trusting in the loyalty of His children to ever think they would brew a war in secrecy. For an omnipresent being, it was a hit to His Pride that He never really saw it coming. Heaven, divided. A war where storms were born and pain was felt by angels for the first time. Paradise was never meant to have death within it’s walls but siblings turned to one another, battles that made the word grief be spoken for the first time. Holy blood spilled in the name of glory, for the sake of pride, in the search of righteousness and to define what the truth was, how the universe worked.

There could only be one winner and no matter how much they believed they were King, Michael was only a child. God prevailed, those by His side crowned themselves winners but there was no glory to be felt, no joy in the slaughter of siblings, no sense of happiness with the victory. Only heartache, only grief. Holy tears spilled by the loss, the wound in Heaven would never quite heal, scar tissue that would be perpetually painful.

Michael, on their knees before God, their rebellion destroyed and turned into nothing. Those who had stood by the archangel’s side now prisoners. Punishment needed to be served and David thought of cutting the problem from it’s root. Shatter Michael to nothing, have no mercy on the one who had betrayed Him, hurt Him, broken His heart. But it was Raphael who spoke, Raphael who begged. Raphael who told Him not to shatter Michael. Mercy, they had pleaded. David didn’t have to listen, especially not to Raphael who remained neutral during the war, who aided both sides with the same care and love.

But Lucifer came to Him as well…Mercy, they spoke. And Gabriel came too. Mercy, they begged. A Holy choir, betrayed children begging for the life of the sibling that they had loved so fiercely. And David gave them what they asked. Mercy, He told them and delivered a different form of punishment.

“You who fought to stay above, you who betrayed to be the Holiest….You, betrayer, will now Fall.” And from Heaven fell the first archangel, like a meteorite to Earth, destroying everything in it’s path, burning in a blazing fire, scorched as they watched everything they once had, everything they once loved get taken away from them.

On the planes of Earth Michael wondered, lost and filled with wrath, the ache of their heart turning them into something different, something new and Unholy. They denied the name their Father had given them, found a place to call home. If they wouldn’t have their crown in Heaven, they would make themselves King somewhere else. And Hell welcomed them with open arms, a realm for them to conquer, for them to rule. Enemy to their Father, to Heaven, to that which was Holy, spitting on the divine. Satan, they would call them and they would have their revenge.

And Heaven became stricter, David became colder. Loyalty wasn’t expected but demanded from the angels. Those who had stood before Michael were thrown out of Heaven, to die or to turn into something unholy as they fell. And life moved on, time went on and it seemed like there was normality once again. Heaven had a semblance of peace; on Earth, Adam and Eve thrived in Eden and things were good. But it would not stay that way for long.

In the shape of a serpent, Michael slithered into Eden, to prove that humans were not worthy of the servitude of Heaven. All it took was an apple and the promise of knowledge. Adam was easy to temp, he took the bite and sin-stained him for good. Then came Eve, smarter than Adam but still, making the wrong choice. The apple was eaten, the rules were broken and David kicked them out of Eden, throwing them into an unkind Earth. Disappointed by His children, He took Eden away from their grasp, locking it in Heaven for only Him and His holy archangels to visit.

And so the story went, the universe evolved. Michael became Satan, became the Devil, became the Enemy. David became their God, became their religion and serviour. Angels became guardians, became servants, became protectors. The world grew and changed, the battle between good and evil kept on going, humans became sinners and saints. And God observed them, ever curious about their ways, sending His son to a woman named Mary, watching as a life started and ended, brutality and kindness, ever prevalent in humankind.

In time, David made Himself a human vessel to visit His creations, to learn from them even He could never quite understand them. What if God was one of us….But they never truly believed unless given proof. Funny little children, He loved them so. Watching their lives as their free will defined them. Good and Evil, God and the Devil, Heaven and Hell.

Balance, perhaps, had always been key.

Hi, I saw this response post of yours (https://daarin-nekoneko.tumblr.com/post/619763097586024449/thoughts-on-a-hypothetical-version-of-adorabat) and I wanted to expand on that with you and see what you think.

I was also thinking that the Sweetypies would look different, not just in color but also in texture and structural compositions. Maybe their physical appearance would be designed in a way that you can tell they're a gemstone (or a colored rock, at least) from looking at them up close with the light's reflection.

Who knows? It might be the Jewelpet-like crossover story/idea you never knew you wanted.

* On an additional note, you'd think Mao Mao and Badgerclops would have a real bad headache continually trying to piece these little people back together every time they crack and/or shatter from monster attacks or hurting themselves and each other...(mostly when it comes to Adorabat)

This is amazing!! I can definitely tell you've put a lot of thought into this concept! And you're definitely right, a few of these gemstones I've never heard of! (Unfortunately that make finding metaphysical stuff for them near impossible, lol)

Now, after 4 days of research, here's my thoughts on which gem could go with which Sweetypie and why:

Magickal Month- May 2019 May was named after the Roman goddess Maia, a goddess of fertility and abundance. Several cultures marked May with fertility festivals of some sort or another, and our modern Pagan festival of Beltane is no exception. It’s a celebration of fertility, sexuality, flowers, and love. Spring has sprung, and it’s time to celebrate all the good things in life! All I want to listen to in May is dub music. Chrysoprase, iridescent green that has such a natural/plant energy, it reminds me of Spring and the forest. Rutilated smoky quartz, the enormous, 10 lb chunk I have that’s being transferred from its place of honor in this house to a place of honor in the new house. Goddess of the Month: Persephone as Kore, Goddess of flowers and Spring. As a Goddess who has returned from The Underworld, her joy and innocence show us that we can come back from the darkness ourselves. When I wrote April’s post, we were supposed to have closed by the time it posted, but it didn’t happen. May is our month! So we’ve started moving and doing some renovation work, doing our final rounds of decluttering and minimizing, and getting that full-life transformation that we’ve really been needing for a long, long time. My personal goals: Husbear’s foot is still gummy, so a lot of the move is on me. Fortunately, we’re moving about 20 minutes away, so if I can take 3 car-sized loads/week, we’ll get there in time. Then one or two big loads of furniture, and BOOM! Moved. It's been a minute since I've posted anything tarot-related, so I wanted to share a few shots from the arrangement I helped set up on my roommate's altar~ ▪ I knew I wanted to use my Little Monster's deck to create a "spread" to represent, more or less, where we currently stand & supplement them with crystals to represent our intentions for the New Year. ▪ For myself, I selected the Knight of Wands with the addition of Rutilated Quartz, Mahogany Obsidian, a unique Blue/Golden Tiger's Eye, Pyrite, and a variation of Jade who's name escapes me right now. Personally, the R. Quartz Tiger's Eye, and Pyrite all represent some aspect of that internal flame that keeps one passionate about one's goals. Mahogany Obsidian is a token of strength, not for conquering others, but for reclaiming a life from fear. Finally, this particular form of Jade always makes me think of matcha, both invigorating & soothing. ▪ For my roommate & partner, I assigned the Queen of Wands, in light of the warmth she provided me & the hope that she may be about to nurture her own passions & interests this year as she had so graciously assissted me in doing. As she is hoping to begin HRT this year, I mostly selected stones to help manifest that goal & birth personal wisdom & self-love: Rose Calcite, Turquoise, Vera Cruz Amethyst, Moonstone, Rhodochrosite, and the Labradorite I used for emotional support during the beginning of my own medical transition. ▪ I chose a blue candle to match the themes that came up for my January collective reading (available on Patreon starting at $1/month) & paired it with my Quartz point with sandy inclusions. ▪ In the back is a sequence of The Empress, Ten of Pentacles, and the Emperor; this represents our transition from spending our third to our fourth year together! (Technically we moved in together in Spring, but it's close enough to count celebrating now, I think~) True to form, I think this last year has been an amazing one for us in terms of finally having a bit of space to let ourselves bloom!
