December 2-3, 1984
It's been forty years since a Union Carbide chemical plant exposed five hundred thousand people to methyl isocyanate in Bhopal, India. Thousands were killed in the initial event, thousands more died from complications months or years later, and at least a hundred thousand were permanently injured.
The cause of the incident was the introduction of water to a methyl isocyanate storage tank. This caused a runaway reaction, overpressurising the tank from 14 to 280 kPa over the course of two hours, at which point the tank cracked - but even with atmospheric escape of the gas, pressure continued to increase to nearly 400 kPa - at which point the gauge could no longer give an accurate reading.
After roughly 30 tonnes of gas escaped, employees triggered the plant's alarm system - which was originally designed to alert both workers in the plant and the people in the surrounding city. Company policy mandated that they not alarm the populace about "inconsequential" leakages, so the two alarms had been decoupled by the time of the release. For nearly an hour and a half, the plant's management continued to tell authorities that everything was fine and they had no idea what had happened. Hospital staff had to guess what gas was causing the symptoms. No shelter in place order was given; the public siren remained silent for an hour and a half.
Union Carbide had identified 61 hazards at the Bhopal plant in a 1982 audit, but never followed up on the inspection. Mere months before the incident, UCC discussed the possibility of a methyl isocyanate reaction similar to what occurred in Bhopal at one of their West Virginia plants - however, the report and its predictions were never forwarded to the Bhopal plant, despite the similar design and process.
The Union Carbide Corporation asserts that the incident was caused by sabotage performed by a disgruntled worker. They claim that workers conspired with the Indian government to hide evidence of sabotage in order to blame the company, claiming that the safety systems were sufficient to prevent the incident without human intervention.
On the night of the incident, the tank's monitoring equipment had been malfunctioning for years, reduced to a single manually operated backup. Management had shut off refrigeration of the tank, keeping it at more than 15 degrees Celsius above the recommended temperature. The emergency flare and gas scrubbers had been out of order for months - and even if they had been active, they had insufficient capacity. Deluge guns - a type of pressurised water cannon intended to dissolve escaping gas - lacked enough pressure to even reach the gas cloud.
No motive for the alleged sabotage was suggested.
Warren Anderson, CEO of Union Carbide, refused to answer homicide charges by the Indian government, with the US government denying repeated requests for extradition. He died in 2014, months before the thirtieth anniversary of the disaster in Bhopal.
Union Carbide have divested their stake in their Indian subsidiary UCIL, and refuse to fund any efforts to clean up the abandoned site, insisting that the fault lied with UCIL management and the alleged saboteur. The company paid $470 million dollars to the Indian government - which worked out to a cost of 43 cents per share of the company. Union Carbide's annual earnings were $4.88 per share after the Bhopal settlement.
The 2012 Global Intelligence Files leak revealed that Union Carbide's current owner, Dow Chemical, had employed the surveillance firm Stratfor to monitor activists seeking compensation for the Bhopal disaster.
Dow responded to the email leak that they were "required to take appropriate action to protect their people and safeguard their facilities" - an attitude that seems to have been very lacking in 1984.

"There is no greater war than the one you wage within yourself when the people you love might be the very ones pulling the trigger."
The roar of rotors faded into the wind as the black helicopter lifted off behind them. Rose, tightened her grip on the rifle slung over her chest. The air was thin, biting cold. Around her, the jagged peaks of Kashmir towered into the sky like the teeth of a sleeping god.
Ghost stood to her left, motionless, his skull mask streaked with snow. Beside him, Zohra Khan, the ISI analyst, adjusted the strap of her tactical backpack. Behind them, Ethan Hunt scanned the treeline through binoculars.
"Welcome to the roof of the world," Zohra murmured. "Let's hope it doesn't become our tomb."
Their objective was Darya-17, a forgotten Soviet facility buried deep in the mountains, now suspiciously active. Satellite scans showed intermittent power spikes. No official records acknowledged it. Walker, codenamed Hammer, had been traced here two days earlier.
And Rose had seen him.
On that encrypted feed, his eyes had met hers. Not by accident.
He wanted her to see him.

They moved in teams, Ethan and Zohra flanking from the east, Rose and Ghost circling around the north. Snow muffled their steps, the wind carving through the pine trees like whispers in another language.
"Thermals show two guards at the northeast vent," Ghost said quietly.
Rose peered through her scope. "Standard patrol. No heavy gear."
"They're confident. Or cocky."
Zohra's voice came through the comms: "This place is still generating low-grade power. The core might be sealed, but secondary systems are online. That means labs. Or worse."
Ghost grunted. "Great. Basement horrors."
Rose tapped her earpiece. "Let's breach silently. Ethan, Zohra, you take storage. We'll handle communications."

Interior
Communications Wing
The blast doors groaned open, revealing a narrow, windowless hallway lit by flickering yellow fluorescents. Dust choked the air. Old propaganda posters peeled from the walls.
Rose led with her rifle up, Ghost at her back. They moved quickly, checking corners, clearing rooms. The comms chamber was a bunker of wires, rusted consoles, and modern patchwork additions.
Ghost stepped to the main terminal. "Give me a minute."
Rose scanned the monitors. Surveillance feeds. One of them flickered, then focused.
Walker.
He was alive, calm, standing at a control station elsewhere in the facility. He was mid-sentence, unaware she was watching.
"...The plan is holding. Rogue will come. She always does. Riley will follow. Ethan's hands are tied."
Ghost's jaw clenched. "He's counting on your loyalty."
Rose couldn't speak. Her fingers twitched over the trigger.
Then, Walker turned. His eyes looked straight into the camera.
The feed went dead.
Ghost pulled the drive from the system and pocketed it. "He's in your head. Don't let him win there, too."

Eastern Storage Wing
Zohra pried open an old refrigeration chamber. Inside: gas canisters, lined in rows. Most were empty. Some weren't.
Ethan examined one closely. "Modified Novichok. This is the real weapon. Not the nukes."
Zohra's hands trembled. "They tested this... didn't they?"
Ethan nodded solemnly. "On prisoners. Ghost was right. The nuke threat was a front."
She handed him a flash drive. "I pulled data from the auxiliary node. Test results, delivery systems, personnel logs. There's even a roster..."
Ethan paused. "Anyone familiar?"
She hesitated. "Walker. But also... Sloane."
Ethan's face darkened. "This goes higher than we thought."

Outside
Reunited at the Ridge
The teams regrouped under cover of snow and broken trees. Ghost handed the drive to Zohra. "Encrypted. Upload it to the secure IMF node."
Zohra nodded and worked her tablet. "Uplink in progress."
Rose paced, unsettled. "He's not hiding. He wants us to follow. He's playing a long game."
Ghost looked at her. "He's using you as bait. And worse, you're still trying to save him."
"I have to know why."
"You know why. He made you trust him. And now he's twisting that knife."
Ethan stepped between them. "Enough. We've got what we need. We confirm the location of the next drop, intercept the convoy, and end this."
Zohra added, "The next site's outside Srinagar. High-altitude logistics route. If he's moving the gas, it'll be there."
Rose looked toward the mountains. Cold, quiet, endless.
Ghost touched her shoulder. "You ready?"
She looked up at him. "No. But let's go anyway."

Zohra Khan was not the kind of intelligence officer who waited in offices for intel to trickle upward. An ISI field analyst known for her brutal honesty and unnerving accuracy, she had been monitoring cross-border arms movements when she stumbled onto a buried black op involving the CIA, disavowed IMF agents, and a rumored nerve agent project. Rather than stay silent, she defected from protocol, choosing to risk her life to warn those who might still stop it. Here’s how I think season 5 the boys will go as someone who has no plans to watch it and agrees misha will be there simply to go haha gay at
Opens on Soldier Boy (JENSEN ACKLES), he’s out in a medically induced coma still, being waited on by a nurse. The nurse is MISHA COLLINS. Setting is what feels like an underground hospital as there are no windows. The walls are cement.
MISHA is switching out the IV bags and talking to soldier boy, and it is clear to the viewer this is a routine. This is not the first time MISHA has updated JENSEN on his day, and the gossip in the hospital above.
Nurse Sal (JARED PADELECKI) enters scene, awkwardly coughing and knocking on the door. He is clearly a bit uncomfortable by MISHA’s ritual, but needs to interrupt.
Sal: Carl, we need you upstairs, Evelyn is asking for you and won’t let anyone else change her IV’s
Sal rolls his eyes before stepping forward awkwardly.
Sal: I can take over
Carl looks reluctant, but acquiesces, there is no reason for him to refuse. With a look back, we see a close up of MISHA COLLINS. His eyes are full of longing. His fingers trail off of Soldier Boy’s hand before he finally straightens and walks out of the room with purpose. Sal resumes Carl’s job, though he doesn’t speak to Soldier Boy, and there are no lingering touches.
MONTAGE ensues. We see a few more instances of MISHA talking to JENSEN, who is unconscious still. MISHA is clearly LONELY and DESPERATE for someone to listen to them.
During one of the short scenes, MISHA makes it clear he thinks it’s wrong of JENSEN to be put to sleep this way. We see a face of bitter determination. FADE OUT TO NEXT SCENE
MISHA is clearly sneaking through the hospital. In a storage room, he looks doubtful. In front of him are two refrigerators of IV bags. MISHA deliberates before JARED walks in, offering a quick nod before reaching for a bag from the container on the LEFT.
Carl: Evelyn finally letting you do her IV?
MISHA sounds a bit strained but JARED takes no notice.
Sal: No, I switched her on the schedule today so you go to her next. I’ve got George on the end today.
JARED shrugs before leaving. MISHA’s look of determination returns, and he also grabs an IV bag from the left. As he leaves, the camera pans to the case on the right. Each label says SOLDIER BOY in all caps
On MISHA walking briskly through the hospital, towards an elevator. He uses a KEY to open the door and presses the floor labeled -5
MISHA walks into SOLDIER BOY’s room. Monitors are beeping, and JENSEN lies unconscious and pathetic. MISHA’s face is sad, then determined. He switches the IV bags and sits. Waiting.
—— CUT TO MAIN PLOT ——
—— RETURN FROM MAIN PLOT ——
TIME has passed. MISHA is slumped in a chair, cheek propped up on his hand. The only noise in the room is the rhythmic beeping of monitors until….suddenly, the monitors pick up. On JENSEN who GASPS AWAKE
FRANTIC, he looks around, ignoring the man beside him who startled out of his seat. He doesn’t pose an immediate threat. JENSEN pulls out his IVs, and the heart rate monitors, tearing his gown in the process, causing the frantic beeping in the room to turn into a constant high pitched note. Swinging his legs to the side of the bed to hop off, he STOPS, frozen, when MISHA stands in front of him, fearless, and places his hands on Soldier Boy’s wrists to stop him. JENSEN stays where he is out of curiosity, not because he is actually being restrained. They both know this.
JENSEN cocks up one eyebrow, leaning forwards. JENSEN and MISHA share a frame, faces close.
SB: Who the fuck do you think you are, trying to stop me? Why shouldn’t I kill you?
Soldier Boy has a somewhat manic glint in his eye as he scans MISHA’s face, landing on his lips for a long moment before snapping back up to his EYES.
Carl: I’m the one who switched the bags and raised you from your slumber
At the sound of MISHA’s gruff voice, JENSEN’s eyes WIDEN. There is recognition there.
SB: Carl? I thought I dreamed you up
At this, MISHA’s eyes widen as well, and his CHEEKS FLUSH. Jensen LEERS at him, leaning forward farther until they are practically touching noses. Suddenly less confident, MISHA swallows, but does not retreat.
SB: Why’d you do it, huh?
MISHA gulps, glances down, and seems to realize for the first time that JENSEN’s paper gown was shredded earlier when he tore his monitors off, and he flushes further at the realization, eyes darting anywhere but on SOLDIER BOY.
JENSEN grins and leans fully into MISHA’s ear, who makes a strangled noise. His eyes fall shut.
SB (in a whisper): Oh got a thing for me, do ya, my unconscious body does it for you?
At this, MISHA’s eyes snap open and his face PALES. Aghast at the insinuation, MISHA shakes his head, disgusted.
Before MISHA can speak, JENSEN leans forward, his eyes softening. Clearing his throat, he mumbles…
SB: It was nice to have company. Going nuts before you showed up and the only noise was that god awful fucking monitor.
At that, he turns to glare at it. MISHA reaches over and flicks it off. The room is SILENT except for the rustle of the bed as Soldier Boy shifts.
MISHA turns back, smug grin on his face, all traces of embarrassment gone.
Carl: So, are you going to kill me or do you want help getting out of here? You can’t fight your way through cement, can you?
MISHA raises a brow. He looks smug and proud of himself.
JENSEN grins, and rises to stand, again sharing a frame with MISHA. they are nearly chest to chest, and the tension grows as they stare at each other. JENSEN drops his gaze to MISHA’s lips again and MISHA leans in…
BANG! The door is thrust open as JARED PADELECKI bursts into the room, squawking at the sight.
Both jump and turn, MISHA scared, JENSEN PISSED. He shoves MISHA away before striding over to JARED, grabbing him and covering his mouth before shoving him against the wall, hard.
Carl: Hey! Don’t hurt him, we’re friends! He probably got sent down since the monitors went out, he’s harmless!
At this, JENSEN loosens his grip on JARED before slamming his head back again. MISHA shouts, but JENSEN waves him off
SB: I only knocked him out, calm down. The way out, please
He mocks, though he does wait for MISHA to lead, who does so in a huff
—INTERIOR, ELEVATOR. MOMENTS LATER—
In the elevator, MISHA looks pissed and jittery
SB: What are you still-
MISHA stalks forward, ANGRY. He shoves Soldier Boy, who lets himself be pushed against the wall
Carl: You just knocked. Out. My. Friend. I soecifically asked you not to hurt him! What was he going to do, you couldn’t have just listened to me!
Jensen sneers, but he doesn’t look particularly guilty or put out.
SB: Aww come on sweetheart, I had to act fast, I just woke up from a coma, I’m on edge!
MISHA looks at him in disbelief, shoving him again
Carl: yeah, you’re awake thanks to me if you already forgot, and you couldn’t even restrain yourself once in thanks?
The two stare at each other, tension rising in the small space. JENSEN licks his lips, and MISHA’s eyes track the movement…
Suddenly, the doors OPEN, and a scream is heard from nearby. MISHA and JENSEN pay it no mind, and start to lean in…
SARAH, another nurse on the floor, dives for her desk and pulls out a GUN. She aims, but she is shaking violently when she fires. MISHA and JENSEN are lying against each other, and the bullet lands in the center of MISHA’s lower back. SARAH reloads, and fires again, hitting Soldier Boy in the SHOULDER. JENSEN looks up, livid, but at MISHA’s slumped form sagging against himself thinks fast and shuts the elevator doors again.
INTERIOR, ELEVATOR
JENSEN cradles MISHA in his arms, who is quickly paling, putting pressure on the small of his back as they slide slowly to the floor. Leaving one hand on the small of his back, he lifts his other blood soaked hand to MISHA’s face, tilting it up. MISHA wears a watery smile, and JENSEN’s eyes are filled with tears as well.

JENSEN lets out another round of sobs, and MISHA slowly raises his hand until he can grip JENSEN’s shoulder, squeezing for a moment
MISHA’s breathing is growing thinner, and it’s clear his time is brief

Silent tears run down his ghostly face, and his eyes go glassy. MISHA’s hand falls, and JENSEN yells

We also have the 24" GE Monogram Undercabinet Wine Reserve (ZDWR240HBS). With a cool MSRP of $2000, undercabinet wine refrigerators are notoriously tricky because of their front-facing venting needs. If you suffocate refrigerators, even small ones, (like humans) they die.
This fridge features cooling settings suitable to red or white wines, full-extension sliding racks with both horizontal and vertical storage, and has a capacity of 5.5 cu. ft, or 57 bottles.
Hannibal also, apparently, does not believe in dishwashers-panel-ready, drawer-style or otherwise.

This, dear Fannibals, is a Royal Paris Vacuum Balancing Coffee Siphon, specifically noted by Bryan Fuller to be crafted by Royal Coffee Maker.
Handmade by artisans with affordable materials such as genuine Baccarat Crystal, malachite, copper, obsidian, azurite, and plating of silver and 24k gold, these start at the low, low price of approximately $15,500.

I’m considering reopening commissions just so I can get some money to set up my room in preparation for me not being able to get up and down the stairs as often. If I’m going to be stuck in a bedroom, I want it to be my own bedroom. I’m going to need things like an electric tea kettle and some basic food storage as well as a monitor stand on a movable arm (my eyesight is so bad that a monitor screen has to be pretty fucking close to my face in order for me to be able to see it clearly)…

This thing is what I am going to get first I think, since I don’t have a table or desk or anything upstairs to put things on. Most stuff I can put on the shelf behind my bed, but I don’t really want a kettle full of boiling water directly above my head. Can hold the kettle as well as mugs and teabags.
I think if I open the tiny window in my closet, and then shut the door and hang a blanket over it, I can turn the closet into a cold room. Not like refrigerator cold, I’m not gonna be keeping meat in there or anything, but I bet I could store sodas in there and they would get colder than if they were in the main part of my room.
Because of the way my body is shaped (very short, thick legs and superwide hips) there’s not a great option for sitting up in bed for long periods, but I think if I get enough pillows I can try to make it work at least for an hour or two at a time.
There’s a bathroom upstairs, and there’s a shower, but no one has used it in a couple of years and it’s low-key scary lol. The bottom part of it is a fucking massive old-fashioned cast-iron bathtub and I’m always afraid it’s going to fall through the floor but I think if it was going to, it would have already. I’m not going to be filling it up with water anyway, I used to try to take baths in that thing but no matter how hot the water you put in it, the iron sucks out all the warmth in 10 minutes and you’re sitting in an ice cold bath.
When I was in high school we lived in a place that kind of sucked and was also full of my parents which was not ideal, but for some reason the upstairs bathroom had the biggest bathtub I’ve ever seen in person. Every day I would come home from school, fill the bathtub with the hottest water I could stand, then sink down into the water all the way up to my neck.
That house also had a conversation pit. One time the bat got in and no one believed me when I kept telling them that there was something flying around in the rafters until we turn the lights on and there it was. I think our neighbor came and caught it with like a pool net. I guess 2002 was before anybody knew what rabies was.

Hey guys I can't sleep so you're all going to hear my thoughts/theories about the lore of pizza tower in no particular order
Obviously spoilers to the game, the story is hardly important to the gameplay but I'd highly recommend you go into the game as fresh as possible. In case you haven't heard already, the game's fucking phenomenal and you should've played it yesterday at this point
POINT ONE: The Pizza Tower is something that has existed for a significant amount of time before the events of the game, as it seems The Vigilante has lived here for a while. We see this mostly in the refrigerator level, where it looks like snowmen have been left there resembling his late father/grandfather present as a ghost during his bossfight. Either the vigilante GREW UP here over some time (how long is a cheese blob's lifespan?), or these are left here as a means of honoring his parental figure. Vigilante also knows where to find the Noisette Cafe, which is hidden very well, so he's been here long enough to know the places ins and outs. This explains why he's invested in this place enough to take up an anti-hero role of defense, as he's grown very fond of the place. This ties somewhat into point two:
POINT TWO: The Pizza Tower's purpose is likely some sort of resort, if not a place of permanent residence. At least, that's what it was initially designed as before falling into some degree of disrepair (mainly in the slums). It has everything a guest would need- different kinds of entertainment (minigolf, saloon, beach for swimming, ect) and other essential facilities (plumbing system, cold storage, countless different restaurants, places like the peppibot factory that can supply jobs, housing, even a fucking GRAVEYARD) are strewn throughout the entire tower. Maybe the first floor with all the dungeon levels is some sort of jail area, a punishment zone for misbehaving residents. It has just about everything needed for people to call this place home, and we even SEE the bosses actively living here. The bosses don't just wait in their arenas, we see them sulk off to other parts of the tower after we defeat them. They don't want to leave until they're forced to by the tower's collapse. It's like some massive cruiseship.
POINT THREE: The events of the game are being recorded and broadcast as entertainment. The television in the corner that displays peppino at all times is shown in numerous other areas: the residents of the pig city are seen watching it, the televisions are used in pizzahead's one attack, the resume button in the pause menu is a TV with a play symbol on it.. Hell, even the Noise has an extra camera crew for a portion of his own bossfight, though that could be partially unrelated as the Noise seems to have a media presence completely separate from the tower. A TON of signs point to Peppino's escapades being recorded, but the purpose of this is completely up in the air- it could be televized as a believed-to-be-fictional series to the outside world, it could be a security system monitoring Peppino, hell, it could even just be for Pizzahead's personal entertainment.
POINT FOUR: This is NOT Pizzahead's first attempt at a business venture. Don't Make a Sound's background elements point to the idea that this was Pizzahead's first ever restaurant, which went bankrupt for reasons that aren't ever insinuated (probably the same problems that plague the rest of the tower: poor quality, poor safety measures, poor matinence and upkeep). This gives Pizzahead the motive of being jealous of Peppino's success (despite Peppino himself being in serious debt, although his restaurant IS still standing.. I guess debt like that wouldn't be something Pizzahead would be aware of), wanting to destroy him for being more successful. This jealousy also gives an explanation to why things like the cloning section in WAR and Peppibot Factory would exist in this supposed utopia Pizzahead attempted to create; Pizzahead wanted to replicate the success of Peppino somehow, but always failed. This gives credit to the next point.
POINT FIVE: The story of Pizza Tower contains a moral pertaining to quality over quantity.
