if the genius society rewards depth then the intelligentsia guild (or maybe just dr ratio) strives for breadth

the genius society seems to be a lot more picky about its members, choosing only those who actually revolutionize their field instead of just people who are at the top

whereas dr ratio's whole thing is about increasing accessibility of knowledge to all life in the universe as long as they want to learn

i don't know enough yet about the intelligentsia guild to tell whether this is an opinion shared by the entire organization or if it's just dr ratio

but dr ratio has more or less completely diverged from the specific path down erudition that the genius society treads, and is going alongside the intelligentsia guild to make another

or in other words nous is a minmaxer with a glass cannon build and dr ratio is a generalist who levels up everything equally

Did you know? In the Hungry Depths in Time of the Giants, Shroomboom can use his Self-Slingshot to launch himself through the enemy gate and out of the Chompy Pit. This requires extreme precision, but it allows the player to achieve in-game times that would usually not be possible.

I think I’m gonna play Rivulet next now that I am completely disregarding unlock order. Also does anyone know if there’s a setting or mod or anything that would make Hunter’s slag keys harder to lose? Because I keep starting Hunter and immediately losing the keys to accidental throws or getting grabbed. I know key items respawn in the room they disappeared in next cycle but it keeps happening in stupidly dangerous spots that I can’t get back to without dying. I’m bad at video games if you couldn’t tell

It feels weird playing ruina and not having to read since I already know the general strategy. I kinda regret deleting my savefile now
