Lightsaber Theory: Obi-Wan "Sith Lords are Our Specialty" Kenobi consistently loses duels to Dooku not for any reason of technical form mismatch or lack of ability, but because Dooku is not even pretending to try to kill him. Resultantly, Obi-Wan can’t figure out what the fuck is going on when they fight. 

Obi-Wan: (preparing to defend an expected lethal strike) You’ll answer for your enormities, Count!

Dooku: (giving him the lightest love tap on the leg) Don’t be so sure, my special good lineage baby boy, so perfect in my eyes. 

Obi-Wan: …What?

Dooku: What?

Which Dooku and Obi-Wan proud lineage moment is even the most unhinged? There are so many to choose from! Is it Dooku’s frequent inability, both in AotC and TCW, to keep from spontaneously gushing about Sidious’s plans and even his own dark secrets to Obi-Wan?? Is it the time in Labyrinth of Evil where Dooku drags a long-suffering, bored Grievous over to watch a holorecording of Anakin and Obi-Wan thwarting his plans yet again, to point out how beautifully they’re working together as a team and how much he likes watching their lightsaber work evolve? Is it in the recent Brotherhood novel, where Obi-Wan just has to casually namedrop Qui-Gon to get Dooku to do exactly what he wants?

Obi-Wan is a big problem for Sidious in his mission to destabilize and corrupt Anakin, and Sidious knows it. He needs him out of the picture to do the same isolating, evil bullshit that worked so well when ensnaring Dooku himself. But the war has been going on for years now, and guess who remains inconveniently alive? And whose job was that to take care of? Oh yeah. I remember. His useless, Padawan assassin-collecting apprentice: fucking Count Dooku. By the time of RotS, Sidious has specifically ordered Dooku to make fucking sure Obi-Wan is dead only for him to completely ignore the command about a half-dozen times.

Going by the Stover RotS novelization, in the same scene where Dooku also literally refers to Obi-Wan as his fucking grandson actually, add that to our earlier list, Sidious reiterates that KILL OBI-WAN is the plan (over the sound of Dooku’s loud complaining) moments before that final duel.  I kind of wish we’d gotten a shot of Sidious's incredulous, enraged expression as Dooku knocks Obi-Wan unconscious and pins him safely out of the way. He is, once again, going out of his way to not kill Obi-Wan in that duel, and this time directly disobeying his Master to his face after they just had a conversation about it. You just know exactly what Sidious must be thinking at that moment. Oh, Dooku. You are so fucking fired.

Hajime Umemiya definitely drives a truck. The kind with the big wheels and that’s always shining from a fresh coat of wax.

When he takes you out on dates, he rushes around to the passenger side and opens the door, offering his hand as you lift yourself into the seat.

When he drives, his hand always finds his way to your thigh where he rests it and offers gentle squeezes as you talk about your day.

When he parallel parks, he places his one hand on the back of your headrest, while maneuvering the wheel with ease and precision, and looking over his shoulder as though its second nature. And it absolutely is.

If some asshole forces him to slam on his breaks because they weren’t paying attention, his arm instinctively shoots up in front of you to mitigate the force that makes you jut forward, “are you ok? Are you sure?”

He loves that truck, but he loves you even more. So when you both start your family, he trades it in for a mini-van or an SVU because he’s a practical man who is in desperate need for the additional space.

i think sirius’ canon approval of dumbledore is an interesting piece of characterisation. very often in fic i see him being written as rebelling against the old man but canonically he obeys his every word, even if he doesn’t personally agree 🤔 in gof he’s convinced that snape, a man he loathes, is probably not up to something nefarious because dumbledore trusts him. in ootp, he HATES being stuck in grimmauld place but he obeys dumbledore’s orders to the T. when harry tells him he thinks he attacked arthur weasley, sirius only questions whether dumbledore is aware of this, before brushing it off

i have a lot of issues but i think having togame cuddle me would solve 99.9 of them.

imagine lying on sofa with a book when he comes in and sees you in such a comfy spot and immediately your lap? free real estate for him. he drops down on top of you, barely holding his weight off, just head on your chest right behind the book you were holding in front of your face. definitely makes you let out a breath when his weight settles in. when you move your book to check on him, he has a silly little smile playing on his face looking at you like you hanged the moon and stars all by yourself just for him. don't even try to continue reading, he will pull the book down and peck your lips, cheeks, nose basically anywhere he can touch. if things get heated as they almost always do with him even though he is a very slow burn kind of guy -- there is a knock at your guys' front door together with choji's booming voice calling out for you to come hang out with him. (and you can only be glad he didn't climb in through the window like last time, turns out catching you guys almost in the act was enough for him to learn to use the door.)

I was thinking about how it’s canon that Togame doesn’t respond to texts, but he’s in this panel on his phone— and it made me wonder whether he actually reads every single text he receives but he’s notorious for leaving people on ‘read’ or he ignores texts completely and has that obnoxious red circle beside his message app to show the number of unread messages on his phone.

And the first time you see it you’re like “What the fuck, Jou?” because he always replies to your texts (surprisingly fast for a man that loves to take things slow) and yet somehow his phone shows so many unread messages because despite checking it regularly enough he can’t be bothered to respond to people.

“You’re just more important.” He shrugs it off as though it’s the most obvious thing in the world, because secretly he’s constantly checking his phone now to see if you’ve text him.

my biggest interest right now is Pizza Tower, which is probably what most stuff i draw is gonna be, but i may end up doing more in the future! the main tag you can find all of my art here is #my art !
