Okay, I'm using the SwiftKey keyboard and sadly it has the option to generate ai pictures. And I feel so bad for doing it because I feel like I supported ai art with it but... Please, for a good laughter, let me show you...

Even if that is meant as joke... Look what you can do with it! It's so insane to think about all the data it stole to create those pictures..
@lyon-amore it's your fault 😭💚

A while back they introduced Ai "features" to swiftkey, the android keyboard I've been using for well over a decade.
I didn't use those "features" and had no interest in them, so I did my best to just ignore them... but the text predictions kept getting worse and worse.
It got to the point where the keyboard would automatically change something like "But then he did..." to "Bit then he did...".
On a hunch, I installed an old version of the app from before they added the Ai bullshit. And wouldn't you know it, the text predictions suddenly worked flawlessly again.
Generative ai really just fucking ruins everything it's pointlessly added to...

So gals, I've been using the Microsoft SwiftKey keyboard that comes with my phone for a while now, mainly due the to the placement of the exclamation mark being more convenient for me, but after all this time I thought hey why not give the samsung keyboard another try eh?
Don't fucking use SwiftKey. This is infinitely better to type with.

I noticed your tags say you miss swipe type?
There's an app called SwiftKey Keyboard that lets you customize your keyboard and also comes with swipe type! My phone didn't have it either and I love it. I believe it's on both iPhone and Android but I'm currently on Android and can definitely verify that one. It's free.
Oh, awesome! I'll have to check it out. Thanks so much!

For anyone using android, what keyboard do you use?
Currently using SwiftKey but it's like the autocorrect has slowly gotten worse over the years so looking for a new one.

I've been typing on a QWERTY keyboard since age six and I do it quite well even after Swyping/Swiftkeying on my various phones and tablets for almost a decade, and I can type without looking at the keyboard with minimal errors, but God help me if you tell me where to place all the keys on a blank keyboard. Like if you ask me to type on a blank keyboard I could prolly do it but if you asked me to label the keys? Hell no

despite it being reddit, there is still a lot of good info on there. both the Samsung and gboard keyboards have been irritating me with not autocorrecting words for a while, and when I searched about it (filtering on reddit since without that it was a bunch of nonsense as per usual) one of the first comments was to use SwiftKey. and lo and behold, it is much, much better and actually corrects words when I type

Microsoft rolls out fix for the SwiftKey Galaxy S25 lock screen bug
Quite a few Galaxy S25 owners have taken to social media to complain about a lock screen bug on their device after updating to the March 2025 update. When trying to punch in their passcode to unlock the device, the keyboard didn’t show an “Enter” key, meaning that they couldn’t unlock the device. As it so happens this issue is related to a third-party keyboard app, Microsoft’s SwiftKey to be…
