head canons for drawing styles! yayayya:

(not a ton of charicters are on here cause i didn't think they would draw/im not sure what their art style would be)

percy jackson: all his drawings somehow look like they were made in mspaint and half awake

annabeth chase: diagrams, but when she dose draw someone (like percy or sally) its very sketchy, like Role Dahle's drawings

piper mcclean: that grungy alt style with the long eyelashes

leo valdez: realy only dose diagrams, and said diagrams are mainly made up of basic shapes and stuffs but when he dose draw people its the worst stick figure you have ever seen

frank zhang: very cartoony, simmiler style to We Bear Bears

hazel leveque: charcoal drawings, also kinda realistic (i think its cannon that she dose charcoal, or knows how to)

nico di angelo: realism, but focuses more on landscapes than people

magnus chase: stick figures

alex feirro: like annabeth and leo, most of her drawings are diagrams but i think his style is kinda art-nouvoe ish

mallory keen: is simmiler to a lot of fashion drawings from the 70s, but i think its also kinda resembles ND Sevenson (the person who origonaly made Nimona)

t.j.: realism. while he didn't have much time to draw in his life, i like to think he did it as often as he could and took some classes on art during death. no basis for that one, but i think hes also good at pixel art.

halfborn: has a range of styles, but mostly relies on a semi abstract one

blitzen: fashion stylist, gotta get things down quick, so i think his style is full of shapes (all styles are but whatever) and kinda scratchy.

hearthstone: kinda loopy and sketchy, some how one line drawings

carter kane: realism, but i think it would be cool if he did watercolor too. him doing lanscapes sounds interesting too

sadie kane: scean 2000s drawing style with the square mouths and pointy teeth

i think she also had a realistic style, but its like. 1800s or 1700s realism. and she defenetly has alot of diffrent styles like halfborn

FINALLY finished Wild Force and, really, Disc 5 was the best disc.

I am honestly SO okay that Merrick got dumped by Shayla and ended up wandering the earth, hooking up with Zen-Aku as an end to their story. She's a professional virgin and he's a bisexual furry. This...fits. Even if Zen-Aku appearing doesn't make a lot of sense.

DANNY X MAX CONFIRMED GAY!! No way you travel the world, probably constantly riding coach, with "just a friend" at this age after saving the world. Also, the picture they took in robes was...kind of telling (the size difference is truly unreal).

Yaaay, Cole got a dog and Taylor got her Eagle Zord. A perfect peace out for these two if there ever was. And no heteronormative romance entanglements in sight!

Alyssa becoming a teacher of small children feels like a cop-out. But damn she fine.

Yes, I cheered for the death of Kite/Animus much like Bret Easton Ellis cheered for the death of J.D. Salinger. And I am not ashamed.

Forever Red!!! FOREVER RED. But especially seeing my favorite duo in the beginning of the episode with Tommy getting ROASTED at the end of it. No I do not care about the Machine Empire or Serpentera, just Reds interacting and trying to one-up other Reds. Still mad about no Rocky, but you can't have everything. *kisses T.J., Carter, Wes, Eric, and Leo on the head* babiiiiiies~

Jindrax being wholesome even while trying to be an actual Org was so endearing I think he's on par with a kitten. He did good deeds, he protected the princess, he slept in garbage, he actually paid for his fishing gear, he rolled off a hill after using another monster as bait, HE PRINCESS CARRIED TOXICA. Jindrax is valid and deserves rights.

Jindrax and Toxica helped the Rangers in the most badass way and they literally ended their character arc WALKING OFF INTO THE SUNSET TOGETHER. Best kind of redemption. I sincerely hope they happily settled down to watch Rangers further down the line just to endlessly be bitchy and heckle them.

There is so much to pick apart from this series, but mostly I am contented by three things: redeemed villain duo, weird bait and switch furry Enemies to Whatever, and Blue/Black Ranger besties that allows me to drag out wholesome tropes for future fic ideas.

Magnus chase has the most consistency when it comes to accents for its characters

PJo/HoO: Characters are from allover the place and have a lot of different accents (Leo and Reyna Spanish, Hazel New Orleans, Nico Italian,etc).Takes place in NY

Kane chronicles: Sadie has a British accent that becomes a US (Brooklyn) accent, Carter used to move all over the place so his accent is probably a mix of a lot of things, Amos Brooklyn accent, Zia Egyptian accent, Desjardins French accent. Take place in Brooklyn but still most of the characters have Egyptian accents because it’s on Egyptian mythology(and all the gods have noticeable Egyptian accents)

Mcatgoa: For just the main cast Magnus from Boston, Alex from Boston, Sam from Boston, Blitzen from a place that is described as being similar to Boston and now lives there after live a good amount of time on the streets of Boston so if he wasn’t born with one he sure does now, Hearth can’t really speak and has been deaf his inter life, and going on to side characters T.J from Boston, Amir from Boston. Take place most of the time in a DIFFERENT REALM OF EXISTENCE

Chapter 24

Fandom: Percy Jackson and the Olympians / Heroes of Olympus

Summary: Percy dies in battle.  A very tragic death that wasn’t at all lame, thank you. Unfortunately, the gods aren’t done with him yet. Instead of waking up in Charon’s waiting room as he should, Percy wakes up in the courtyard of Hotel Valhalla.  Thinking things can’t possibly get worse he runs to Carter Kane for help. In hindsight, that probably wasn’t the best idea he’d ever had.

Rating: Mature

Chapter Preview

"They don't care about music or any kind of noise at all." Annabeth confirms. "I guess the raven makes them too smart to get whipped into a frenzy like that."

It's not what I want to hear. "Ravens like shiny objects." I look to see that T.J, has abandoned the group of single pantheon soldiers to talk with Annabeth and I. He is also a strategist and I am not surprised that he is inclined to join the leadership when a fight is going poorly.

Annabeth takes that tidbit and runs with it. "We could bring out some metals large enough be worth a roc's time. Set them about and ambush the birds that take the bait. It would definitely lower their numbers."

"As long we get it done fast." I say. "Wise Girl, head up coordinating that with rest of the adult campers. The kids stay in hiding. Reyna, Leo and I will distract the monsters with support form everybody else." I try not to mention that we're probably all going to get killed.

"I'm coming with you." T.J. says suddenly.
