We were talking about Peru in class for some reason today and that just made me remember when I went there and this guy begged me to take a picture with his daughter because I was so white

i received this ask and decided to write this entire thing through a caffeine-powered fever dream. may have gone a little overboard. please pray for both your sanity and mine. thank you anon for your strong sense of imagination (or delusion, whichever you prefer.)

nagi lifts the hem of his shirt to wipe the sweat off his face, and you accidentally (or not so accidentally) get a good look at the droplets running down his abs and v-line. he also does the doorway lean while waiting for you to get ready. since he's so tall, he puts his one arm up on the top of the door frame while scrolling through his phone. when he feels drained of energy, he clings to you like a koala, face buried into the crook of your neck.

rin pushes his hair back when his bangs get in the way, and it shows off his ridiculously sharp side profile. sometimes you have to pause mid-conversation because the direct eye contact gets too intense. he has the brightest turquoise eyes in existence, and they stare right into your soul. pair that with the height difference and him towering over you. hang onto your ovaries because this man is about to snatch them. if isagi or sae are anywhere remotely close within your vicinity, he will personally drag your chair closer over to him. you know, the whole nick jonas chair pull thing? he also unintentionally clenches his jaw when pissed, the vein popping out and everything.

barou is polite to his elders. he holds the door open for others. he tips extra at restaurants. he is kind to service workers. he's just a gentleman overall even though he likes to act tough. he rolls up his sleeves while cleaning or cutting up vegetables, and you can see the veins bulging in his forearms. wears those form-fitting aprons where you can see the outline of his waist and the muscles in his back. he is not immune to raging pit bull moments, but he will calm down immediately when you ask him to.

kaiser requires physical touch to function. all concept of personal boundaries goes poof in his little ego-driven brain. he holds your chin so you look up at him while he's talking. also has that husky growl when he wakes up in the morning. he speaks german. what else is more attractive than that? if you stroke his ego, he will puff his chest out like an emperor penguin and flash that movie star smile. does not slow down his pace for you, and will laugh at your expense when you trip in heels and fall. but then he feels guilty about it and begrudgingly picks you up and carries you home. however, before that he will make you swear on everything holy to never tell isagi about his moment of weakness. (tbh kaiser is a menace and has some serious self-esteem issues. pls avoid dating a man like him in real life until he is fully mature. i still love him tho.)

reo mansplains but not in the condescending way. he does so in the "omg i'm so excited to finally get to share something with you and you're never going to believe it" sort of way. rambles on and on about his interests and gets that little glint in his eye when he's passionate about something. also not sure if this counts but he gets extremely depressed when you don't message him back within five minutes. what do you mean you were busy? he was out here dying from a literal famine. he needs your affection to survive. last but not least, he is good at styling. he knows what colors work best for you, and he will put together three new looks for you in record time.

hiori dreams that you left him for good and wakes up crying with his arms around you. will refuse to let you leave the bed even if it is just to get a glass of water. his rare moments of emotional vulnerability are what gets to you.

shidou does not condone any of your bad decisions. you want to get shit-faced and party until early morning? no complaints from him. you want to wear sexy outfits to the club? say less because he's about to enjoy the view and knock out the front teeth of every guy who dares to ogle you. i don't know if this qualifies as being attractive, but he would never be the controlling type. you can dress and act however you want. unfortunately for you though, this is also a textbook case of the blind leading the blind. if you get horrendously hungover, so does he. if you get pulled over, he's going to be too blackout drunk to even comprehend the officer's words. you can count on him for a good time, but not anything else. do not take any of his advice at face value.

oliver likes to show you off even if he doesn't notice it himself. any talk with his team, and he will find a way to make the entire conversation about you. at this point, the entire u-20 team is done with him. they placed bets that you two wouldn't last more than a month due to his philandering reputation, but the universe seems to think otherwise because you and oliver hit the six-month mark and are still going strong.

ness guards your drink with an unnecessary amount of protection. while you left to go use the restroom, he was looking left and right, and the hairs on the back of his neck were prickling every time someone even came close to your cup. he also shoos away any person who opens their mouth while standing next to your drink because apparently the condensation from their breath could be dangerous. definitely covers your cup with both hands even if it has a lid. no suspicious shit is happening on his watch.

yukimiya is well-read, and he wears glasses. he has a copy of every single classic out there in existence and will fangirl along with you over your virginia woolf collection. he was written by a woman with two cats and a wine glass. not much else to say.

loki absolutely clears the entire carnival/arcade game. you want that giant teddy bear that costs over three hundred ticket points? say less because he's about to win the whole damn pot. of all characters, i would say he's one of the only green flags. like celery green.

isagi always looks for you when he enters the room. intentionally or not, he always seeks your presence. if someone says a funny joke, he turns to you to see if you're laughing or not. also does that somewhat creepy stare thing where he just looks at you quietly while you do mundane tasks. internally he is screaming cus what do you mean you actually like him?

chigiri gives you that thankful little smile whenever you stand up for him. i feel like people don't understand how goofy he can get as he's canonically good at doing impressions/impersonations. also has the prettiest laugh. if he ever cuts his hair, i think i'm going to get a nosebleed.

noa unconsciously says yes to every question you ask of him. he'd be giving bastard münchen a hard time (and denying isagi's requests) but then immediately once you come over, he's automatically acquiescing to everything you say. the rest of the team is low-key shocked you can win him over so easily. when they confront him about it, he just shrugs and goes "y/n is always right."

kurona's entire existence is attractive. he's just perfect. nothing is ever wrong with him. will let you check out his shark teeth and lightly pokes your finger to leave an imprint. hopefully you'll always remember him that way. he's also quiet so he will listen to everything you say and give ample weight to your words.

sae is my baby girl so he gets a whole section dedicated to himself:

absentmindedly plays with your hair. when you're sleeping in his lap, he'll gently run his fingers along your scalp. sometimes in the morning when you're sitting up on the edge of your bed to do your makeup, he'll come up from behind you and brush back your hair. might also press a kiss to the back of your neck.

helps you put on your face mask. when he's shopping, he will buy you lotion along with his own skincare products. says that it was just a convenient store run but you know he personally made sure to get you the best quality ones.

this is canon because i said so: when he gets out of the shower, he slings the towel over his neck or his shoulder. he also involuntarily flexes his biceps when he bends down to grab something. has the world's most defined deltoids.

when you're stuck in large crowds at the airport, he puts his hand in your back pocket to keep you two from getting separated. if the TSA pat-down is anywhere too personal for his liking, he will openly glare at the officer once you've passed the security checkpoint.

bonus point: when you two brush your teeth early in the morning, he has that little bed head where his shorn-off bangs stick up in cute little tufts here and there. will have a dead look on his face, but his eyes soften when he catches your gaze through the mirror.

I was rewatching the last Suchwita episode Jungkook was on and it was just so endearing how he couldn’t help but talk about the Jikook NY trip even though it was something that would have to be edited out. It was funny because later in the episode he started talking about SNTY and stopped himself because he said he probably shouldn’t talk about it. Taehyung said to go ahead because they could just edit it out and JK said this 😭

And he was so serious about it! Like it was such a blunt refusal that Yoongi even told them (jokingly) to take it outside if they were going to argue.

And yet, when Yoongi asked JK about the travel show he couldn’t help but go into so much detail about it with such an adorably big grin on his face despite it absolutely being something that would have to be edited out (Jikook were taking spoilers about their show extremely seriously too lol!).

It was just sooooo cute 😭 Jungkook could have stopped at any point too but he even goes right into a second story after the “heartstrings” comment.

It’s just really sweet because that whole conversation with Yoongi was so genuine, like it was a conversation between the two of them that wasn’t part of the show because it was obviously full of spoilers that couldn't be aired. Either JK momentarily forgot because he was just so into sharing the story or he just didn’t care because he really wanted to tell Yoongi about it anyways.

And the way that both of them looked so amused and endeared the entire time from the first second that Jimin was brought up is just so… idk, I need better vocabulary, but it was just so damn adorable lol. Jimin really does have that effect on people because literally the first mention of him and it’s all laughter and smiles and you have JK forgetting his “why would I talk about something they have to edit out” mindset.

Also Jikook in general just seem so excited about their show and it’s really sweet. They've only really mentioned it I think in this clip and the last live where they jumped on Namjoon for spoiling something lmao, but it’s like the way they talk about it and how obviously excited they are to share it with us and how JK was so amused by whatever funny chaotic things happened when Jimin arrived... it's really heartwarming. And it’s just sweet that no matter what they always seem to have so much fun together.

Anyways, it’s just really funny that in the SAME episode JK asks why would he talk about something that’s going to be edited out he talked about something that had to be edited out because it involved Jimin lmao. The fact that Jimin is always some sort of exception to Jungkook too is seriously something. Like speaking of Suchwita, it reminds me of when JK basically implied that the Jimin episode was the only full episode he had watched (that whole JM live was just crazy tbh).

I really can’t wait to find out what happened that was so chaotic and funny that had JK smiling like that and what had Jimin “tugging on heartstrings”. Like, is there going to be a scene of pitiful, pouty Jimin? Or is he just super endearing at one point? I'm so curious to see what all went down. And the Japan trip just seems like a fever dream, but that's just a whole other can of worms. But I really hope they release the full Suchwita convo sometime because the way JK talked about it was seriously adorable.

First things first,none of the pictures above are my own. Honestly I just vibed the entire show without thinking of getting my phone. So all of them are done by my kind friends who also attended

I nearly sobbed when I realised they are real people lol

Then Gerard stepped on the stage with a huge trench coat on and processed to nearly trip over something and all the tension was gone lmao

They started with Foundations and then played Nanana

Then Nanana but Faster

Then Gerard wanted to play it again even faster, but Frank was like "no way in hell"

THEY PLAYED BOTH BOY DIVISION AND THE HOUSE OF WOLVES

I vividly remember the Times when I was sitting in my room and listening to Boy division while thinking how great would this song go live and later reminding myself that this thing would never happen,because mcr is no longer

And hearing it live with Gerard right in front of me made my heart do couple of skips

Honestly entire setlist was very fast and all the songs besides The ghost of you and Kids from yesterday were perfect for jumping and screaming

Gee did amazing speech about war (that people are making copies out of people making copies of the war) and processed to smash and kick a printer named Stuart ✨for the arts✨

In the beginning I thought that he was destroying a water bottle lol. Then I saw on the screen that it was something like guitar amplifier. After we exited the venue my friends informed me that it was in fact a copier/printer which made much more sense tbh

I had an amazing view on the right and saw Ray all the time. And he looked so happy to perform,he was smiling the entire time and it gave me the time of my life

I also love Frank's fit. It was scene as hell

Mikey killed the entire performance,every song that he possibly could

And also,can we talk about Ray's solo during the ending of Kids? And Gerard hyping him from behind 🥺

Plus, Gee sounded so nice. He keept praising the crew, talked about the weather and called the ocean of phone lights "a Christmas"

I loved every moment of yesterday,but I still feel so weird. Like how could I stand in like 4th row from the stage and see Mcr play live. Unreal

It's one of the moments that I will cherish forever

Plus I got myself merch without standing in a huge line,because we were early in the venue so that was also cool

Shout out to the security who gave us water so that we won't die in the heat and sue them

And Gerard looked so concerned when we passed along those watter bottles from one person to another lol

It was worth waiting six years to see them live

Also, there was a support artist and guess who played guitar for them

It was like buy one get one free for me. Watch one of my favoutrite bands live and watch one of my favourite guitarist live

It was also my first ever big live show. And now I understand why people love them so much. I want to attend more shows in the future for sure

all thoughts on S3 that directly pertain to Five (putting under a read-more because it’s kinda long):

NEGATIVES:

- highkey love the return of Dolores, and the Fivelores reunion, even if it is just a fever dream. hate the fact that it’s used purely to make fun of Five for falling in love with a piece of plastic like that wasn’t the only vaguely humanoid thing left on earth for forty-five fucking years.

- Five reaches his conclusion that the Sparrow timeline is safe and the apocalypse is officially off far too quickly for a man who’s devoted literally his entire life to the preservation of the world. by his own admission, he’s been “holding [his] breath, waiting for the other shoe to drop” ever since he got back home, but his behavior here doesn’t reflect that. he acclimates to the apocalypse-free life quickly and happily and with nary a second thought. shouldn’t he struggle with the fact that his sole purpose in life is gone, and he  doesn’t know what to do with himself now that the whole world doesn’t need saving?? you know, like he did in S1? he never actually dealt with that issue -- he just shelved it when it became clear that the apocalypse wasn’t over.

- and on a topic vaguely adjacent to that, shouldn’t he be super skeptical about all this?? so far, every time it looks like the world is finally safe, Five refuses to believe it, and so far, his doubts have been consistently rewarded with yet another catastrophe right on the heels of the last one. shouldn’t he be even more suspicious of this sudden, easy, uncomplicated end to all their problems?? shouldn’t he even be more convinced that another doomsday is just around the corner?? shouldn’t he even be more focused on correcting the timeline and getting his family back home?

- Five expresses absolutely no remorse or regret over the loss of Claire, simply shrugging off her nonexistence as one of the many risks of time travel, which... doesn’t tally at all with his character in S1, who told Allison that he’d like to live long enough to meet his niece, and promised her that their mission to stop the apocalypse would save her daughter’s life. Five’s devoted and all-consuming love for his family is the very core of his character, and it’s the center of every action he takes. every single decision he has ever made has always been built around his family’s salvation and survival. why is he suddenly okay with losing his niece??

- Five agrees to go on a spontaneous road trip with Klaus, despite the fact that they literally just landed in a new and unfamiliar timeline which he knows nothing about. wouldn’t he want to stick around for a few days to ensure that all is truly well, that there’s no impending doom, that his siblings aren’t in any danger?? at the very least, shouldn’t he establish whether or not The Sparrows are a credible threat before he runs off to an entirely different state with his least reliable (affectionate) brother??

- Five lets Klaus drive on the road trip while he opts for the passenger seat where he looks at maps and gets excited over landmarks. it’s a tiny thing, but it’s just... so glaringly not Five that it took me completely out of the story for a solid ten minutes. deadass it was all i could focus on.

- would Five whine and grumble and gripe if one of his siblings dragged him off under the pretense of a road trip and then confessed they were actually headed to meet their biological parents?? sure. of course. that’s Classic Five right there. whining and grumbling and griping about his siblings is the crux of his entire character tbh. but the reason behind his reluctance boils down to the fact that... he’s retired -- except this has absolutely nothing to do with the apocalypse. shouldn’t his objections be steeped in confusion instead of anger?? if one of Five’s siblings expressed the desire to meet their birth mother, i honestly don’t think Five would be annoyed or upset so much as he wouldn’t understand -- he obviously holds absolutely no interest in his blood relatives, he makes that plain enough throughout the season, and he clearly considers his siblings the only family he needs. why wasn’t that the source of the conflict here?? why did they need a pointless argument about a goddamn ball of fucking twine??    

- Five meets his future self and realizes that he founded the Commission. in addition to that, he discovers that he dies in a way that is... literally the closest possible thing to his worst nightmare, and he promptly decides to go ahead and get the Mothers of Agony tattoo to ensure he does die in that exact way, because you can’t fight destiny, right?? for Christ’s sake, this is the man who landed in a post-apocalyptic nightmare hellscape where every last living thing on the entire planet was dead, and the mathematical means of his escape didn’t even exist yet, so what did he do?? he invented an entirely new branch of physics to get back home. he carried on through forty-five years of absolute and utter hell to save his family. even when the Handler told him that the apocalypse was inevitable, that it had to happen no matter what, that there was no possible way to thwart it and no possible way to stop it, he still resolved to find a way. he made a deal with the devil and turned himself into a weapon all in the name of saving the world. this is a man who simply will not give up. why isn’t he fighting the future tooth and nail, the way he’s been doing for the last two seasons?? why isn’t he resisting the inevitable with every fiber of his being?? why isn’t he even trying??

- on the topic of Five’s encounter with his future self... why exactly does he decide to listen to him just like that?? Five literally does not listen to anyone, and yes, that includes himself -- he ruthlessly crushes every ounce of self-doubt and does what he needs to do, what has to be done, to save his family. the Handler tells him flat-out that the apocalypse has to happen, and he still throws himself headfirst into his efforts to stop it, anyway. he will not rest until he has completed his mission. so why does he suddenly decide that now would be a great time to give up?? he’s faced impossible odds before. he’s faced the end of the world before. so why is this the cataclysm that gets him to surrender?? one of Five’s defining traits -- one of the first things you think about when you think about him -- is his resilience, his ability to endure the unendurable and make it out to the other side. where did that resilience go??

- essentially, i just think there should have been more than one single conversation to convince him it was a lost cause. i think the plot should have pushed him to the very brink, should have completely unraveled him, should have forced him to face the fact that it was hopeless. and i think that he should have had a chance to properly grieve the situation -- the fact that his siblings were doomed to die for the fourth time, and he could do nothing to stop it. the fact that his siblings would never get the chance to grow up and grow old as he has. the fact that he has given up his life, his mind, his body, his humanity, all to save his family, and at the end of it all, he is powerless. his life was wasted. his sacrifices were meaningless. why didn’t he get even a single moment to mourn his losses??

POSITIVES:

- the Five / Lila bonding! very nice touch. when he holds her hand on their way into the closet even though he doesn’t technically need to?? when she says “i’ll miss you” and he immediately fires back “that’s weird”?? when she ruffles his hair and he lets her?? when she slings her arm around his shoulders and he lets her?? very good. 10/10. would love to see more of this in S4.

- when he calls Diego and Lila “sentient STDs”

- when they all think they contained the Kugelblitz and they have that big party and Five is smiling and laughing and dancing?? oh my god why is that one of the only times we ever see genuine happiness from him. who allowed that.     

- it was great to see him dedicate his last days to a reconnection with his family. that was definitely the most in-character thing from him in this season. if only his decision to surrender to the apocalypse had been handled better, i would have absolutely zero complaints about this sequence. his earnest desire to be near his siblings at the end of the world smashed my heart to pieces with a sledgehammer. he loves his family so goddamn much and i will be thinking about that for exactly forever.

- his drunk karaoke at the bachelor party. his drunk speech at the wedding, his drunk collapse in the elevator... peak wasted Five right there.

- his obvious annoyance with the fact that everyone hooked up with everyone at Luther’s wedding. do his shoulders ever hurt from carrying the entire asexual community on his back

my new favourite fic series!!! i love how stupid the two of them are, apart and together. how they’re sleeping together and they almost said i love you (yes, i see you with your fucking cliffhanger, i’m gonna kill you) but they’re still so much like.. the best of friends? if that makes sense? i love how their humour compliments each other’s (what is this english truly). sometimes, during the morning after, shawn is hesitant but she makes it so comfortable for him. they spend the day together after sleeping together. are you guys seeing the same level of comfort that i am? also, let’s not forget the cereal killer and julias ceaser dressing costumes, please. absolute genius.

favorite fic you wrote this year ahhh that’s difficult because I wouldn’t know how to measure this. be my once in a lifetime was amazing to write, I knew exactly what I wanted to do, it happened really fast and it’s fun making myself suffer through the angst. it feels very round. but so does all my life are safe beside you now - and I think it’s the peak of my sex as metaphor for repressed feelings trip.

but! I also had so much fun writing lend me your thoughts and, what’s even more important, so many people told me they felt comforted and reassured by it. and since making people feel that way is the literal dream, it’s probably my favourite fic this year.

This event is much smaller than the last. It’s not quite intimate, but the host greets everyone individually and the seats are assigned. After a fancy dinner that Louis spends talking to an Instagram influencer and a designer pair with grand ideas and an even grander ego, the lights turn off. And then everyone is forced to wear orange neon lights wrapped around their torso. The club seems like a fever dream with everyone dancing to vaporwave and getting continuously brighter as the night goes on. Because for every drink one buys, another string of fairy lights is coiled around one’s body.

Two fun weekends in a row (Tekko and Otakon trip ramble blog?)

Other than random sadness thinking about niche Etrian game issues /Nintendo shooting themselves in the foot by not taking advantage of their huge games library by offering official emulation support or anything even tho it would be IMHO a huge win win where fans can play older titles and Nintendo can get money, I am quite happy rn. For the first time in my life ice finally gone to another city!! Made the physically and financially tiring decision to join two friends to go transportation to Tekkoshocon and Otakon in a row lol. Literally just. Two weekends of con madness /fever dream lol. Tekko isn't much of an issue for my bc I love in Pittsburgh and can use the bus system quite well but my friend (I will call friends C) let me and another mutual friend (I will call friends F) stay at their house overnight and also their mom drove us to and from the convention (the night thing was big for me bc I don't want to ride city busses alone at night lol). So yayyy.

Tbh I like tekko being in April better just due to the temperature / air conditioning issues that convention center had. Plus it's probably better for cosplayers so that they can wear heavier costumes and wear make up without worrying about heat stroke or runny makeup. Loved the ribbon game. While I didn't do much of it, my friend C and their siblings loved it. I got 3 ribbons overall, but it was fun seeing ppl wearing long scrolls /scarves of ribbons lol. I'll have to post a picture of my tekko badges later lol. A little sad that I accidentally missed the FFXIV meet up bc an Emet Selch cosplayer was handing out Warrior of Light ribbons. Tbh I think I. Bought an ffxiv standee from them at the flea market on Thurs??? It was weird. At least I got the verlive verlaugh and verlove ribbon lol. Plus educational Charles Dunbar panels are always a highlight that I try to go to every year. More fun academic books on shinto and Japanese culture to add to my list to read at some point in life. Yayyyyyyyy? (Some books are expensive oof but like. The carnegie library of Pittsburgh is decent and maybe I can look into getting an alumni library card from my college so I can use the EZ-borrow system that all Pittsburgh colleges are share (thinking of the time I snuck into the big Pitt and Duquesne libraries, can't remember if I successfully snuck into the CMU one :/) or Iliad program (nationwide college library loan system (yes I was a student librarian I had to do shipping and packaging for these systems)).

Then my friends F is going to school in Baltimore and living with his aunt. So we got to see Baltimore and Washington DC, which I've never done. And go on the MARC and Amtrak trains, which was fun bc I've also never done that either. Basically sure to financial issues and other things I've never been able to see other cities or go on vacations ever. Like. When I do go places, it's usually my aunt and uncle taking me and my siblings to like. Weird hillbilly county fairs ans art fairs in the back woods of Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia etc. And we went to Erie once. That's like. That's it. I've literally never seen another huge metropolitan area before in my entire life except for my home city lol. Like. My friends C and F and their families have moved countries and traveled before so going on airplanes and trains and seeing big cities is like mundane to them. I told them that I've basically never done anything or been anywhere and the most I've traveled is like. Manually walking /house back riding in skyrim /genshin impact. And they were like "Oh no you poor thing" lol.

Anyways i had a fun time at the Smithsonian Postal museum that's right next to the train station and saw the incredibly beautiful Library of Congress. I feel like I could stay there and look at stamps or the ceiling for hours. Learned about Owney the postal dog too. What a good sweet boy. Then we got to the glass vase with him inside. My friend and i were like. What. Is that the dog. Google it. Is that a replica. No. Wait. It's the dog. The beloved adorable dog in many many stamps and postcards and stuffed animals in the gift shop. It's just a taxidermy dog. We had such a good laugh it was insane and surreal to see such a display in a museum lol.

The stamp collection is so fun and interactive you can pull out glass cases from the wall. Stamps from different eras of us history and from around the world. Wow.

Otakon was Friday and Saturday. So many fun panels! So many ppl! Turns out that this year was insane due to Anime Next bring canceled so ppl had the options to get a refund or have their tickets roll into Otakon. So. Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. The wifi of the convention center both paid and free was awful with so many ppl using it and the escalators shut down at some point. Let's just say that the center's architecture had some questionable staircase choices of "how did this pass a safety inspection?" Also when not going to panels I hung out in artist alley most of Friday and then Sat I got hit with FOMO really bad in the last 20 minutes of the dealer room being open so I got a ton of merch. The funniest were the meme tip jars of artists. There was one artist that I gave like. $100 to in merch buying. I was the only one to recognize End Roll and the only one who wanted Pandora Hearts merch. Sadge kinda but also the artist seemed happy to at least see another fellow fan lol. Also. Literally the only pandora hearts merch I've ever seen so like. Yeah I snatched that up fast. Plus I got a lot of ffxiv fan merch. Happy that it's super popular and all so I could find it easily unlike my other niche interested or my friend F's niche gacha game Tokyo After school Summoner. Uggghh so much money spent. Like. $800+..... But also as a temp I keep getting stable for a few months boring office jobs. Like. Allegheny Elections division for 3 months during the primaries (sooo stressful it was call center for 3 months begging poll workers to get their shit together and actually show upto work or having g to break bad news to them that someone who wrote themselves in got like 2 votes and suddenly ppl who worked at a polling place for years lost their job bc they don't know how location elections work or they don't even work in the area or anything and then the last week I was manning the physical absentee ballot box downstairs. Ppl literally like. Yelled at me and everything I was scared tbh. Like. I'm just here to keep my job and all and like. It was physically in my face totally different and way more stressful than someone getting angry at me over the phone but with no physical way to hurt me you know. I hung up signs outside about turning in others ballots without a form filled out bc its not allowed anymore or something and ppl still played dumb or got angry and were like I wanna talk to your manager (she told them to complain to their congressman bc there's literally nothing us average govt office workers can do about it). My temp superior was like "wouldn't it be funny if I put you in the election office again in November?" (Plz no Amy my heart can't take it uuuu) at least this summer assignment is just. Mail room WIC FMNP stuff. Like. So relaxing. For 8 hours a day 5 days a week for $15. Yay for ok semi stable office jobs. I was the only person in my group of 3 with a semi "proper adult job" and saved money in my bank account and it showed in the amount of stuff I got compared to what they bought lol. But also if I get yelled at for like 3 months straight and earned money with blood sweat and tears I think I can afford to splurge a bit for like. 6 days a year for anime cons.

The most insane thing I saw was a prize figure of Joker Persona 5. I love prize figures bc every year the quality gets better and better but as prize figs and not huge scale ones they stay in an affordable range of $25-$50 rather than the big $100-$400 ones (deep sea girl miuk kill me lol). But like. The price on this prize fig was $95. Holy shit. I know that they just jacked up the price bc persona 5 is still popular and relevant. Even worse when we got back to stable wifi at friends F's aunt's house I looked up the figure and he's just. Regular prize figure price of $35-40 depending on the online store. Lmaoooo. Looking at the good smile pop up parade joker now as well bc again a nice affordable price of $35 (tbh might be $55 bc GSC uses a flat rate of $20 for shipping priority with tracking and all but it's still not too bad). I'll make a final decision later but first after work today I'll probably get an itabag so I can actually put this stuff in something to show off next year. Plus my friend C offered Anime Expo September bc its cooler and more affordable to travel and stay in a hotel in the boring month of Sept rather than the summer next year? I've never been to California (or on a plane but I guess we could take a train instead depending on prices?) so it sounds fun.

Supernatural: The Internet’s Best Reactions to the Series Finale

Welp, there you have it. After 15 seasons of road trips and high-stakes battles, Supernatural has come to an end—and people have feelings (as they should). Interestingly, the penultimate episode of Supernatural wrapped up the major story arc of the season, leaving the final episode to get a bit more, um, creative with its ending. What did that look like? Pie festivals and vampires, of course.

“Carry On” sees Sam and Dean settling back into “normal” life following their definitive battle with God. The stakes are a lot lower, but that doesn’t mean they are non-existent. When the monster-hunting brothers get pulled into a case of a band of masked vampire kidnappers (first investigated by Daddy Winchester many years ago), Dean ends up getting impaled by a metal rod and dying. RIP. Unlike his previous deaths, this one sticks. He ends up in heaven, which admittedly seems like a pretty rad place, and Sam lives out his life with a wife and family before eventually joining Dean in the sweet, sweet afterlife.

For some, this was read as a happy ending for the characters, who are all eventually reunited in heaven with everyone they love. For many others, this was an ending that deprioritized storytelling elements that drew so many people to the show and fandom: notably, the theme of “found family” and the “Destiel” relationship.
