hii could you possibly do a jj x emily x reader smut fic where they are protective over her and maybe someone else flirts with her idk 🫶
What We Deserve || J.J x E.P x reader

a/n: changed it slightly bc I kept getting stuck and scrapped this like three times but hope you guys like it :)
CW: dark!jemily x sunshine reader, guns, violence, Emily and JJ turning to revenge, slightest past Emily angst, stalking and sexual harassment (a man who later becomes irrelevant), threesome, age gap, smut, mild gunplay, strap-on sex, oral sex, face-sitting, daddy kink (one time), light choking, praise (she holds your hand and talks you through it🥰)
“I can stay tonight,” you offered up easily, trying to hide the fact that you were incredibly eager at the possibility of not returning home tonight.
Emily looked up from her desk, baffled by why you would ask to spend the night working, and scrutinized your body language with her eyes. This was something Garcia had warned you about when she recommended you for the job position Emily and JJ were trying to fill. They were excellent profilers, or at least formerly, but their old habits never left them.
After the two women turned to a more avenging and under-the-table profession, they turned to Garcia for her usual tech intel, but as she remained a current government employee, she was unable to give them her usual assistance. Instead, she recommended you, “her protégé,” she claimed.
You had offered up your nights to the older woman four times in the last two weeks, which wouldn’t be unusual for a demanding corporate job, but this wasn’t that. The couple worked from their grand home with three offices to exceed all their work needs. You assisted them on the tech side of things and were an expert at tracking people down. In this case, it was usually whatever unpunished psychopath or scumbag they were currently hunting.
“Why don’t you want to ever go home?” Emily questioned, resting the end of her pen on her lip. Her question was in no way rude, despite her consistently assertive tone. She just wanted to know why anyone would rather spend their nights working at a new job with few people to talk to and staring at a mini computer screen than return to a cozy apartment.
“No, it’s not that. I’m just willing to help out here,” you replied, rubbing your knuckles against the fabric of your pencil skirt.
JJ, who was shuffling through a paper trail you just printed out, profiled you cockily without even looking up. “ Lying? Didn’t think you had it in you sunshine,” the blonde quipped.
The "Sunshine" nickname and “Learn that from Garcia?” Jokes have been nonstop since you started. You weren’t sure how much of your demeanor you actually picked up from spending plenty of time with Penelope or if it just stemmed from the fact that you were generally quieter and gentler than the two women who kept guns tucked underneath their blazers at all times.
Emily flicked JJ’s shoulder as she slid behind JJ’s chair to reach a final cabinet, a subtle way of telling her to cut it out, but she couldn’t help the small smirk that crossed her face. She tipped her head toward you, pointing across the hall. “Go grab your work and bring it back here. Shut the lights off on your way back too.”
You quickly pivoted around, treading to the conference room to grab a folder and your laptop. For two vigilantes, they were incredibly organized. You assumed that’s what made them so good, and their FBI experience probably helped. You returned to work in their office, working through the list of wanted profiles and trails for the two women. At some point, Emily appeared behind you, watching as your fingers flew across the keyboard. You restrained your instinct to flinch as her hands grasped your shoulders.
After two hours, the glare of your laptop screen blurred before your eyes. Entirely zoned out, you jumped slightly when Emily’s hands found your shoulders, her breath rushing across your ear. “Go home, rest; it’s late,” the gravelly sound of her voice sounded from just above your shoulder.
“You’re still here working though,” you protested out, pointing out how her and JJ were still camped out at their desks with no intent of leaving anytime soon.
She raised her eyebrow, catching you off guard when she spun your chair around, pressing her knee into the seat beside your thigh. “That was an order. You’re no help if you come back tomorrow sleep-deprived. JJ and I have been on this schedule for years. We’ll sleep when we retire.”
You listened, gathering up your stuff. Your keys jangled against your side as you stopped to linger in the doorway before making your way out to your car.
The streets were pitch black and mostly empty as you drove to the low thrum of the radio. Your fingers bounced anxiously on the steering wheel while pulling into the parking lot beneath your apartment complex. It was late; nobody would still be out and about, and your trip up to the 3rd floor would be uninterrupted. You reassured yourself. You were right to some extent. The stairwells were empty and a little eerie.
Your hand closed around your doorknob when the reason you were reluctant to return home called out, making you flinch in the dark. “Late night?”
“Mhm,” you replied dismissively while hurriedly fumbling for your keys. You could see his silhouette in his shadow as he stepped out of his apartment and turned down the hall toward yours.
“What kept you out late?”
“Just work.” You didn’t look up, pushing your door open roughly. Slipping inside, you were a second too slow. ”Good night, Ro,” you said sternly, attempting to close the door as he appeared in your doorway. Your heart started thumping in your chest as his palm slapped against the already splintering door.
“Hey, wait up, what’s the rush?” He grinned, holding his weight against the door to keep it open. You froze, only able to keep the door at the crack it was, and no further. Too focused on your sweaty hands gripping the door, you missed the soft clicking pair of footsteps until it was too late.
Two strong hands engulfed your body, one sliding around your waist and pulling you against a warm torso, and the other expertly clamping down on your mouth. Your eyes darted back and forth, catching a whirl of raven hair between you and the door. Without your half of the balancing act, the door slammed up against the wall, leaving Ro and the stranger in your apartment facing off.
“May I help you sweetheart?” A sickly sweet and familiar voice rang out, throwing your stalkerish neighbor for a loop. Emily.
You were dragged backward slightly, out of view, forcefully but not violently. A blond wave of hair fell over your shoulder, and vanilla perfume became mixed in with your heavy breaths. Emily, and JJ.
Ro suddenly stepped back into the hallway. ”Who the hell are you? Wait, you were on the news. You were in the FBI.”
“Catching on so quickly,” Emily taunted while revealing her gun from her side, raising it casually. “Step inside, close the door behind you, scream and you won’t make it back out alive,” she instructed, waving the barrel of the gun as she spoke.
He obeyed, if only out of obvious terror. JJ stepped out of the shadows with you in her grasp. Out of angry instinct, he lurched toward you. “Crazy bitch.”
JJ defensively tightened her bicep around your body, moving you behind her. She and Emily moved as one fluid, deadly unit. Sharp, efficiently placed pressure on Ro’s shoulders from Emily made him drop to the floor like a fly, his knees cracking against the floor. The point of JJ’s boot dug into the flesh of his leg, threateningly close to his crotch.
Emily was back to looming over him, hands steady as she clicked the gun against his temple. ”Here’s how this is going to work. We managed to find video footage of you breaking into this apartment, stalking, and harassing, and that’s just the surface—things that we found in seconds. If, and that’s a questionable if you leave here alive, so will we, because if you turn us in, we turn you in, and with all the cameras disabled in this apartment, who are the courts more likely to believe former FBI agents who left peacefully and with high credibility, or you?” Silence. “That’s what I thought. You’ll also be ending your lease within the next 24 hours, and I highly suggest your next place be at least 25 miles from this apartment. Last but not least, apologize.”
You saw him wince at the pressure from the weapon or Emily’s voice as he looked up at you from the ground.
“ I-, I’m sorry! Ah!” He yelled out as Emily knicked the side of his head.
“Do fucking better, and I’m not one to dish out third chances, so make it good.”
You nearly blacked out at the scene unfolding in front of you. His apology played like a distant voiceover in your head; JJ’s hands felt hot against your skin; and you didn’t even start to leave this dazed state until Emily was forcefully leading your now-former neighbor out of your apartment.
Emily guided you toward the back of your apartment while JJ locked it up, not before surveying the hallway twice.
Flicking on a dim light, Emily braced herself against the doorframe as you turned around to face her. “So, “I can totally work late,” was actually Mr. insecure fucking stalker?” She prodded, adding a slight imitation of your voice into her tone.
“He wasn’t a stalker; he was just gross and pushy. He asked me out when he first moved in; I said no, and he never really let it go,” you explained in an attempt to descalate.
Emily scoffed, removing her blazer as she invited herself to sit down on your bed with her hands pressed into her thighs. “Honey, he intercepted you every time you came home, couldn’t take no for an answer, and knew your schedule by heart. Why didn’t you just tell JJ or me? We could’ve handled it.”
You circled around the room, still attempting to process what had happened. “Okay, and by handled, do you mean go fucking insane?” You asked in a raised whisper, tangling your almost-twitching fingers in your hair. “You cannot just pull a gun out from underneath your blazer and hold it to someone’s head while your wife threatens them with credentials she no longer even has!”
Emily stood up quickly, untucking her blouse from her pants with her sharp movements. “And he can’t just monitor your life and push his way into your apartment!” She shot back with fire in her tone. You seemed to have hit a nerve. Your best guess was that wherever this anger was coming from, it also had to do with whatever reason she left the BAU for, something she had yet to reveal to you. “He had no right, and you’re not responsible for his actions. Look at me,” she commanded, tipping your chin toward her gaze with two fingers. “Even if you said yes, he would still behave as he always has, as a creeping coward. I spent my whole career chasing carbon copies of men like him. Nothing will change their sense of entitlement from believing they deserve women who they could never appreciate or understand.” Finishing, her chest rose up and down with emotion as you remained still in her grip.
“Is that why you quit?” You asked, slightly steering the conversation back toward her. “Because of people getting what they didn’t understand or deserve?”
“Yes, I was tired of having to put people I cared about or wanted to care about,” she added, refocusing on you, “in danger and not being able to be the one who served repercussions.”
Feelings you had pushed down since day 1 rose up in your throat. “And have you ever contemplated what you deserve?” you asked as a more relaxed smile curled on her lips.
She nodded as her eyes flickered down your skin. Her forehead glistened with unexpired anger and effort as she swiped a piece of damp hair from it.
“And what’s that?” you asked. Moving your hands backwards, they landed on the dresser, feeling as if the space between you and Emily was growing closer and closer, more intoxicatingly suffocating.
“You.” JJ’s smooth and confident voice filled in the blank for Emily, and you felt your entire body flush with warmth. She had been walking by the door with silent steps and filled in the rest with context. While her calm and mildly seductive reaction to the scene surprised you, it only made Emily grin, curling her fingers to invite the blonde into the room as she shut the door behind her. Emily had seen the way her wife’s gaze soaked in your body the first day you stepped in the door with a bright smile, making her hungrily sink her teeth into her lip. Emily admittedly had quite a similar reaction.
Distracted by JJ’s appearance, you hadn’t noticed Emily’s shift until you felt her body press up behind you and her lips dance across your neck. Removing her gun from her side, you expected her to put it on the nightstand beside you, so you were taken aback when she pressed the edge up against your ribs, leaving you to feel the cool metal through the thin material of your shirt. All the air left your lungs as she slowly dragged it up your skin, her deep red-painted nails leaving a trail of scratches in their wake. The barrel of the gun followed the curve of your chin until she used to tip to guide your gaze up to hers. Trust me, at least for tonight.” She placed the gun on your nightstand with dangerous amusement flashing across her eyes.
Sitting on the edge of the bed, she pulled you between her legs, unbuttoning your shirt with nimble fingers until it slipped off your shoulders. Slipping her hands beneath the hem of your skirt, her fingers grazed against the skin of your lower belly, the cold metal of her rings making you tense.
She slowly and seductively removed the rest of your clothes, taking her sweet time to soak in every inch of your body. You followed her lead as she charmingly held out her hand to help you climb up and kneel on the mattress. She followed, settling at the top of the bed. “Come up here; let me taste you.” She rapped your thighs until you were straddled over her body. Her suave confidence and eagerness to aid in your pleasure were new to you and created a confusing knot of feelings in your stomach. Your knuckles turned white with your grip on the headboard, holding yourself up delicately.
Emily wet her lips, curving them into a smile. “Sit means actually sit, love.” Her hands gripped the back of your legs, dragging your throbbing cunt onto her mouth. A satisfied groan left her lips, vibrating through you.
Behind you, JJ’s nonchalance surprised you. In every other environment, she was incredibly overprotective. In this case, both the people she was ever overprotective of were right in front of her, so she was happy to pour a drink, sit back and watch… or at least for a moment.
Through your muffled thoughts brought on by Emily’s lips wrapping around your clit and her hands kneading at the flesh of your thighs, you heard JJ’s glass clink on the table before her hands appeared on your body. You felt the mattress sink beneath you as she climbed up on the bed behind you, cupping your breasts in her hands as her lips trailed along your neck. “If I’m gonna let you fuck my wife, I think it’s only appropriate that I get something as well, don’t you, doll?” She murmured, her breath leaving a trail of warmth along your skin, until she found your mouth, sinking her teeth into your bottom lip. A soft whine escaped as she pulled away, taking her touch with her, and sat down next to you.
Your knuckles grew white against the headboard as Emily’s tongue curled against the walls of your tongue, drawing you closer and closer to a shattering orgasm. JJ, next to you was only contributing to your arousal as she undressed herself and raked her long, blond hair out of her face with a ravenous look. Your body tensed on quivering thighs resting on either side of Emily’s head as she pulled your cunt down in her mouth, flattening her tongue against your sensitive nerve. A stew of moans and expletives fell from your lips as you coated her tongue, and she looked up with a slick, lopped grin as if she had just won a trophy.
Without more than half a breath, she was up and directing you between JJ’s legs, driven by lust-induced vigor. “Eat her out,” she commanded with a soft air of confidence.
Focused on pleasuring JJ, you only caught a blur of Emily in your peripheral vision, slipping out of black work pants and letting her belt hit the ground. Arched between JJ’s legs, she secured her feet over your shoulders, trapping your head between toned thighs as you delved into her cunt. The blonde’s head sank back with a guttural moan as you circled and sucked at her clit.
You stuttered as Emily caught you off guard, dragging her fingers down your spine until she squeezed your ass. JJ’s hands found their way into your hair, guiding your back down between her legs with a sickly soft tone, but you didn’t miss the smirk shot at Emily over her head. “Focus baby, okay? Don’t worry about her.”
You listened, far into the hazy trance of the women surrounding you. As your tongue roamed JJ’s pussy you could feel Emily’s grasp on your hips, positioning them to her likely, and then what came as a startle from your lack of awareness was the silicon texture of her thick strap gently teasing your entrance as you brought her wife closer and closer to an orgasm.
She pistoned the faux-cock inside of you, and you choked out a gasp that made JJ’s hips stutter as she arched her back off the mattress. “Fuck, almost there, doll, let me come on your tongue.” Her words slowly morphed into pants as she reached her climax, with a heaving chest and a tight grip on your hair. Her legs relaxed on your shoulder as Emily continued thrusting into you, the slight ridges of her strap against your walls leaving you gripping at JJ with desperation. JJ found your hands. Running her thumbs across your knuckles with soft praise. “Come for daddy, baby,” she mumbled into her forward before leaning up into Emily’s brief breathless kiss. Your three sheening bodies were intertwined in various ways. The room was filled with obscene noises and sounds from the lingering exhaustion of pleasure.
With close attention, JJ caught on when you were close, using two fingers to drag your chin upwards, forcing you to look her in the eye as your juices coated Emily’s cock. As you came, Emily’s hand wrapped lightly around your throat, adding an extra starry haze to your orgasm. You collapsed in a euphoric state on JJ’s lap. She chuckled at your fucked-out state, running her hands through your hair. Emily wore a similar smile of satisfaction as she left a trail of light kisses down the back of your legs. She was the one to get up and go to the bathroom, preparing to help the three of you clean up and collapse back onto your queen-sized bed in a dreamlike sleep.

Until You-Part 1
Connor Rhodes x Reader x Will Halstead/Rhodestead x Reader
You've known Will for a while but becoming Jay's partner puts him further into your life than before. Then of course you meet Dr Connor Rhodes officially and it appears life may become a little complicated.
Working out of the twenty first precinct meant you knew the members of intelligence already. You happened to be one of the patrolmen Sergeant Platt and Sergeant Voight agreed on liking so anytime they needed an extra set of hands yours was called on. You also happened to be lucky enough to be friends with Fireball, the girlfriend of Detective Jay Halstead and their tech expert Greg “Mouse” Gerwitz which meant you were friends with the unit on top of a working relationship.
Even knowing all of that you hadn’t expected that four days after Detective Lindsay took the job with the FBI in New York to walk into work one morning and get told to report upstairs. When you made it up to the floor intelligence used Voight was waiting at the top of the stairs and led you to his office. “Have a seat” he motioned to the chair across from him then walked around the desk and sat down.
You smiled slightly “Why am I up here?” “As you know, I have an opening on my team” he replied and you nodded Yes sir. I was at Erin’s going away party” he smiled slightly “Well when she and I spoke about a possible replacement for her, she recommended you. I looked at your record, spoke to Trudy and Al and well I agree. You’re a good fit”
“Are you offering for me to join intelligence?” you asked and he nodded “It’s a one time deal” you grinned “I’ll take it!” he laughed “Ok. Go get changed. You’ll be partnered with Halstead” “Yes sir”
You stood and thanked him before heading to the locker room. You quickly changed your clothes and headed back out into the bullpen.
_________________________
Jay was sitting on the edge of his desk with Mouse and both men smiled when they saw you. “Should we be worried that Erin picked you as her replacement?” Jay asked and you shrugged “She knows I'll look out for fireball and not let you two get into any trouble, well not anymore than I can help”
Mouse grinned “Welcome to the team Y/N” you nodded “Thanks” Jay raised an eyebrow “I'll decide at the end of the day if I'm gonna welcome you or not” Mouse shook his head “If he gives you a hard time during the day just dip into med and tell on him” You laughed lightly “Thanks for the tip Gerwitz I'll be sure to remember that”

“Why haven't you taken the detective exam?” Jay asked as he drove. The two of you were headed to interview a witness at the hospital. They'd caught a bullet in the process of a robbery. Luckily it hadn't hit anything major and from what you were told a full recovery would be made. You shrugged “I like the twenty first and before this offer came up if I took the exam that would have meant changing districts when I passed”
“When?” He asked with a slight smirk and you nodded “Yeah, when. I could pass that exam with my eyes closed Halstead” he shook his head “I see why you and our girl get along so well now” you shrugged “She's a smart gorgeous woman and so am I?” He shook his head “and modest to boot, look at that”

Jay parked his truck so you slipped the chain with your badge on it over your head before climbing out and following him across the parking lot. “Well mighty detective, are you taking the lead?”
He rolled his eyes “Ok now I see why Erin picked you. It's like she never left” you grinned “Now that is a compliment if I've ever heard one”
__________________
The E.D. was actually not insane for the first time in a while considering. You and Jay stopped at the front desk to ask Maggie about the shooting vic. “Cheryl Lockwood. She's on the second floor. Room two fifteen” “Thanks Maggie” Jay told her and she nodded “Your girl has a break in half an hour by the way” he grinned and cut his eyes at you “We may just have to hang around”
You shrugged “Hey I'm good” and nodded towards the elevator “Besides, who knows how long the interview may take?” The two of you walked to the elevator and stepped on. You hit the button for the second floor and cut your eyes at Jay “Wasn't your brother one of the docs that caught this case?”
He nodded “Yeah, Will and Connor Rhodes are the two I think” you had met Dr Rhodes in passing only. Just enough that you knew him by face. “Don't know about Rhodes but Will's a decent doctor” he shrugged “Will says he's an ass but a decent doctor. Fireball says he's alright that Will has some sort of crush he won't admit to”
You barked out a laugh “Damn Jay put your brother on blast like that” he shrugged “Not judging. I have a boyfriend and a girlfriend who are boyfriend and girlfriend” you shrugged then “Good point” and he laughed “See? Can't say I'm judgmental at least”
___________________
The elevator stopped on the second floor and when it opened you waved your hand “Please, age before beauty” he shook his head “The sass I deal with at home has now been added to at work”
You laughed and stepped off behind him “Maggie said two fifteen” he looked around then pointed to a sign on the wall saying rooms two ten through two sixteen were to the left “We go left” you nodded “Let's go”
__________________
You knocked on the door of room two fifteen before pushing it open. There was a blonde woman sitting up in the bed, a sling was on her left arm and her upper torso was covered in gauze and bandages. “Mrs Lockwood?” she turned towards the two of you “Are you the detectives from intelligence?” Jay pointed at you “Well, she’s an officer from intelligence. I’m a detective from intelligence”
You shook your head at Jay then introduced yourself before asking her if she felt up to giving her statement. “Of course, anything I can do to help catch these people”
____________________
“Thank you for your time Mrs. Lockwood. We'll be in contact with you” you told her with a smile as you and Jay walked out of her room, closing the door behind yourselves.
He cut his eyes at you “Who knew. You may be a decent cop after all” you rolled your eyes “Your previous partner picked me and your girlfriend likes me” he laughed “She also loves me and Mouse so what's that saying for her taste?”
You shook your head and checked the time “Well lookie there. By the time we get downstairs she'll be on break” a grin slipped onto his face “I will buy you lunch for a week if you agree that it took us longer than it did to get Cheryl's statement”
You laughed “I'll just go grab food in the cafeteria. Go see your girl, maybe you'll be in a halfway decent mood the rest of the day” the two of you stepped on the elevator and he bumped your shoulder “I think we'll get along fine”
____________________
When the two of you made it back down to the E.D. Will was at the front desk and spotted Jay when the two of you stepped off the elevator. “Jay!” He greeted with a smile then his eyes landed on you and he spoke your name with a hint of confusion.
Jay put a hand on your shoulder “She's my new partner. Erin kind of picked her out and Voight agreed” Will's brown eyes landed on yours and you felt a smile slip onto your face, the elder Halstead was always gorgeous in your opinion. He nodded slowly “I say it's a good pick” then he cut his eyes at Jay “She just went to the doctor's lounge”
Jay grinned “Thanks Will” then patted your shoulder “Keep Firecracker company man. Go buy her lunch in the cafeteria or something. You know what's decent and what to avoid” he patted your shoulder then disappeared in the direction of the doctor's lounge.
____________________
You watched him scurry off then looked back at Will “You don't have to babysit me” he shrugged “I normally take my break with Fireball but considering she's busy I could use the company?” You shrugged “in that case Dr Halstead let's go”
The two of you fell in step with each other to head towards the cafeteria “So, intelligence?” He asked and you nodded “I know it's a big jump but I've been working with them for years. I think I can handle it” he nodded “You'll be fine. You're a good cop” you smiled “Thank you”
You motioned back towards the direction the two of you had come from “Those three are something else aren't they?” He raised an eyebrow “Oh, Jay and Mouse and Fireball?”
You nodded “I've never seen a relationship with only two people work so well” he shrugged “They've gone through hell at each other's sides. It wasn't easy but they never gave up on each other and the love they have for each other is unimaginable” you smiled “If only we were all so lucky”
He shrugged “Who knows what tomorrow may bring, right?” By then the two of you had gotten to the cafeteria so he held the door open for you then offered you his arm “Stick with me because some of this stuff will have you back in the E.D. before end of shift” you laughed “Lead the way”
_____________________
You and Will were talking while you ate. You were laughing about the time you responded to the call when some woman who was in the Rangers decided to come into Mollys and try Fireball on for size. “I walked in, she grins and says Firecracker, what's up? While her hands bleeding from busted knuckles and chic is still laying in the busted table”
He laughed “Jay's the one I'd call the hot head, Mouse is normally the calmer one unless he's really pushed but her? She's kind of the wild card” you nodded “Best way to keep men on their feet” he grinned and the way he looked at you made your face warm, damn he was good looking. “Yeah, got to love those wild cards” he agreed.
“Halstead. Who's your friend” you cut your eyes up to see Dr Rhodes walking towards the two of you and he smiled “I know you” you waited until he said your name then nodded “Good job” he grinned “Why are you here with Will?” You shrugged “Good company?”
He motioned “Can I sit?” You shrugged “Sure” he sat down next to Will, across from you, his blue eyes glued to yours as you said “I'm also Jay's partner now and Jay is around here somewhere with his girl because she was on her break so me and Will got lunch”
He nodded “Good partner to kill time for him” You shrugged “Like I said, I've had worse company then Will” he cut his eyes at Will then winked at you “Any time you want better company, come find me Firecracker” you felt your face warm again and saw Will raise an eyebrow but thankfully Jay chose that time to appear over your shoulder.
His lips were clearly swollen a bit and his hair was tousled and you couldn't help but laugh “Damn Halstead” he smoothed a hand over his hair and stole Will's drink “Not a word. Come on Firecracker. We gotta go”
You nodded then looked back at Will and Connor “I'll see you two around?” Will nodded “Of course. You're partnering with my brother now” and Connor winked at you “If I'm lucky I'll see around”

Once you were back in Jay's truck he pulled out onto the road then cut his eyes at you “Were my brother and Connor both flirting with you?” Your eyes widened “No”
He laughed “That was a quick answer” you narrowed your eyes “Mouse doesn't get jealous over you and her having time alone” he shook his head “We don't really do jealousy amongst the three of us but me and her have ways to chill him out even if he did” you shook your head “I don't even wanna know” and he smirked “No, you don't. But back to you with my brother and Connor because that was flirty”
“JAY” You warned and he held up his hands defensively “Ok ok. Just saying…” “Don't” you warned and he started laughing “Fine but just know I would be supportive” you glared at him “Your boyfriend and girlfriend are the only reason shooting you isn’t an option” and that only made him laugh harder.

Centibillionaire Elon Musk’s takeover of the former US Digital Service—now the United States DOGE Service—has been widely publicized and sanctioned by one of President Donald Trump’s many executive orders. But WIRED reporting shows that Musk’s influence extends even further, and into an even more consequential government agency.
Sources within the federal government tell WIRED that the highest ranks of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM)—essentially the human resources function for the entire federal government—are now controlled by people with connections to Musk and to the tech industry. Among them is a person who, according to an online résumé, was set to start college last fall.
Scott Kupor, a managing partner at the powerful investment firm Andreessen Horowitz, stands as Trump’s nominee to run the OPM. But already in place, according to sources, are a variety of people who seem ready to carry out Musk’s mission of cutting staff and disrupting the government.
Amanda Scales is, as has been reported, the new chief of staff at the OPM. She formerly worked in talent for xAI, Musk’s artificial intelligence company, according to her LinkedIn. Before that, she was part of the talent and operations team at Human Capital, a venture firm with investments in the defense tech startup Anduril and the political betting platform Kalshi; before that, she worked for years at Uber. Her placement in this key role, experts believe, seems part of a broader pattern of the traditionally apolitical OPM being converted to use as a political tool.
“I don't think it's alarmist to say there's a much more sophisticated plan to monitor and enforce loyalty than there was in the first term,” says Don Moynihan, a professor of public policy at the University of Michigan.
Got a Tip?
Are you a current or former employee with the Office of Personnel Management or another government agency impacted by Elon Musk? We’d like to hear from you. Using a nonwork phone or computer, contact Vittoria Elliott at [email protected] or securely at velliott88.18 on Signal.
Sources say that Riccardo Biasini, formerly an engineer at Tesla and most recently director of operations for the Las Vegas Loop at the Boring Company, Musk’s tunnel-building operation, is also at the OPM as a senior adviser to the director. (Steve Davis, the CEO of the Boring Company, is rumored to be advising Musk on cuts to be made via DOGE and was integral in Musk’s gutting of Twitter, now X, after his takeover of the company in 2022.)
According to the same sources, other people at the top of the new OPM food chain include two people with apparent software engineering backgrounds, whom WIRED is not naming because of their ages. One, a senior adviser to the director, is a 21-year-old whose online résumé touts his work for Palantir, the government contractor and analytics firm cofounded by billionaire Peter Thiel, who is its chair. (The former CEO of PayPal and a longtime Musk associate, Thiel is a Trump supporter who helped bankroll the 2022 Senate campaign of his protégé, Vice President JD Vance.) The other, who reports directly to Scales, graduated from high school in 2024, according to a mirrored copy of an online résumé and his high school’s student magazine; he lists jobs as a camp counselor and a bicycle mechanic among his professional experiences, as well as a summer role at Neuralink, Musk’s brain-computer interface company.
Among the new highers-up at the OPM is Noah Peters, an attorney whose LinkedIn boasts of his work in litigation representing the National Rifle Association and who has written for right-wing outlets like the Daily Caller and the Federalist; he is also now a senior adviser to the director. According to metadata associated with a file on the OPM website, Peters authored a January 27 memo that went out under acting OPM director Charles Ezell’s name describing how the department would be implementing one of Trump’s executive orders, “Restoring Accountability to Policy-Influencing Positions Within the Federal Workforce.” This has to do with what’s sometimes known as Schedule F—a plan to recategorize many civil service jobs as political appointees, meaning they would be tied to the specific agenda of an administration rather than viewed as career government workers. The order would essentially allow for certain career civil servants to be removed in favor of Trump loyalists by classifying them as political appointees, a key part of the Project 2025 plan for remaking the government.
“I think on the tech side, the concern is potentially the use of AI to try and engage in large-scale searches of people's job descriptions to try and identify who would be identified for Schedule F reclassification,” says Moynihan.
Other top political appointees include McLaurine Pinover, a former communications director for Republican congressman Joe Wilson and deputy communications director for Republican congressman Michael McCaul, and Joanna Wischer, a Trump campaign speechwriter.
“OPM is not a very politicized organization,” says Steven Kelman, a professor emeritus at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. “My guess is that typically, in the past, there have been only one or maybe two political appointees in all of OPM. All the rest are career. So this seems like a very political heavy presence in an organization that is not very political.”
Another OPM memo, concerning the government’s new return-to-office mandate, appears, according to metadata, also to have been authored by someone other than Ezell: James Sherk, previously at the America First Policy Institute and author of an op-ed advocating for the president to be able to fire bureaucrats. Formerly a special assistant to the president during Trump’s first term, he is now a part of the White House Domestic Policy Council.
The return-to-office policy, according to the November Wall Street Journal op-ed authored by Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, is explicitly geared toward forcing the attrition of federal employees.
Last week, many federal workers received test emails from the email address [email protected]. In a lawsuit filed last night, plaintiffs allege that a new email list started by the Trump administration may be compromising the data of federal employees.
“At a broadest level, the concern is that technologists are playing a role to monitor employees and to target those who will be downsized,” says Moynihan. “It is difficult in the federal government to actually evaluate who is performing well or performing poorly. So doing it on some sort of mass automated scale where you think using some sort of data analysis or AI would automate that process, I think, is an invitation to make errors.”
Last week, federal employees across the government received emails encouraging them to turn in colleagues who they believed to be working on diversity, equity, inclusion, and access initiatives (DEIA) to the OPM via the email address [email protected].
“This reminded me,” says Kelman, “of the Soviet Stalinism of turning in your friends to the government.”
The OPM did not immediately respond to a request for comment, nor did the people whom sources say now sit atop the bureaucracy.
“I am not an alarmist person,” says Kelman. “I do think that some of the things being described here are very troubling.”

How can I be you? The life, the experiences, 0.1%! Incredible! I’m a little bit jealous but inspired at the same time! Tips? 😂
Why be me when you can be you?
If I were to travel back in time and live my life again, I'm not sure I could get this same outcome. There were tons of toxic situations that opened new doors, rejections that turned into amazing redirections, random meetings with people who became lifelong friends, and more one-off lucky instances that I wouldn't be able to recreate. It's a mosaic of fortuitous events over the past few years that led me here.
With that said, there were definitely factors within my control that I maximized to increase my chances of success:
Become an expert in something. A lot of people want the lifestyle, glitz, and glamor, but not the hard work and grind required to develop expertise. Have a pocket skill. For example, I'm really good at strategy and business operations. In Silicon Valley, I have a reputation as Mr. GSD ("Get Shit Done") from my track record solving very tricky, tough, and high-stakes problems. That’s how I ended up building an incredible professional and personal network of people who’ve got my back—whether it’s giving me referrals on the spot or stepping up for me when needed. I haven't applied to jobs in years and former colleagues reach out with opportunities all the time:
Proximity is everything. Be where excellence is. Want to marry someone from an Ivy League university? Get into an Ivy League university yourself. Only about 0.1% of the world’s population graduates from Harvard, but if you get into Harvard, guess what? 100% of your circle did too. The same goes for Silicon Valley. I came here to work with the smartest people in tech because being around excellence opens up opportunities. You're not going to get that living in Antarctica. Proximity equals opportunity.
Shoot for seniority as fast as possible. The higher your level, the more visibility your work receives, and the more opportunities to interact with decision makers like top executives and industry leaders. I've always had problems with authority and I didn't want to waste years of my life being told what to do by someone else so guess what I did? I became the person with authority who tells other people what to do as fast as possible.
For context, most new college graduates in tech start at Level 3 (L3). Promotions typically follow this timeline:
L4 (Senior): 1–2 years
L5 (Lead): 2–3 more years
L6 (Manager/Staff): 3–4 more years
L6 is considered a terminal level, meaning many people spend years there without ever advancing further. Breaking into L7 (Senior Manager/Senior Staff) is extremely difficult, and L8 (Director/Principal) is even rarer—less than 1% of the industry reaches those levels. On average, moving from L3 to L6 typically takes 6 years on the low end and 9 years on the high end, just to reach mid-level management, not even senior leadership.
With that said, I'm currently an L9 (Senior Director)— and I achieved that in 7 years from the time I entered tech.

I have no quarrel with anything that Shipwrecked says here, as far as recommendations go. Essentially he’s talking about reverting the Bureau to something like what it was when I joined in 1978. Obviously the tech revolution has changed a lot in how investigations run, but not as much as many want you to think. My one caveat is that reversing the flow of DEI/Woke at the FBI would be a first at ANY federal agency. Make that: at any governmental agency. It won’t be easy because there are a lot of entrenched interests.
My long expressed view is that cleaning house in the legal program has to be the top priority, because law drives the way any agency is run, whether we’re talking about investigations or personnel policy. Anyone who cares to look back through what was discovered about the Russia Hoax will quickly realize that. While there were undoubtedly bad apples among the Agent population, especially in management ranks (McCabe, Sztrok, etc.), none of the Russia Hoax would have happened without the revolving door between the FBI and DoJ. Starting with Mueller, continuing with Comey and Wray, and with many other subordinates (Lisa Page and etc.). It doesn’t matter that there was a hiatus between their time at DoJ and moving to the Bureau—it was the culture that they brought with them—with supporting cast—from DoJ. And, of course, the Russia Hoax is the tip of the iceberg. There’s lots more to be said. It’s a big job, but if you’re gonna make a start, that’s where to do it. Changing culture overnight is never easy, but decapitation strikes in a bureaucracy is definitely the way to start.
Shipwreckedcrew @shipwreckedcrew The tricky part of Patel’s confirmation is there are 3 votes who are impervious to pressure - Collins, Murkowski and McConnell. The difference with Patel is a case can be made that he is qualified for the position, and Trump is entitled to an FBI Director he trusts given history. I think that will likely carry the day with McConnell and possibly Collins. Murkowski is harder because she just hate Trump. 1:16 AM · Dec 1, 2024
As I said briefly last night, Patel has had exposure—important parts of a significant nature (NatSec law, interface with Congress and other Deep State agencies, criminal prosecution and defense)—to most areas of law and investigation in which the Bureau is involved.
Before you read what Shipwrecked says Patel will do, understand this. The big culture shift began with Judge Webster, well before the Woke Revolution. Webster’s brainstorm—or brainfever—was to pattern FBI management on the corporate model, specifically, on the IBM model of the time, c. 1980. Managers (supervisors SSA, Ass’t Special Agent in Charge ASAC, Special Agent in Charge SAC, Assistant Director in Charge ADIC in very large offices) were to be professional managers, on the theory that anyone can manage any program regardless of past experience. The main qualification was a willingness to relocate regularly, at every career step up the ladder—or every squiggle up the greasy pole. They were looking for climbers, careerists, not subject area experts with experience and minds informed by experience. As the years went by, the revolving door of career moves whirled faster and faster. Younger and younger. Less and less experienced in their subject areas or in evaluating human nature. More and more informed by the dominant culture.

Partnering with Toronto’s Accounting Recruiters: Tips for Success

Finding top-tier accounting talent can be a daunting task for any organization. Whether you’re a growing business seeking an experienced CFO or a startup in need of a skilled accountant to manage day-to-day finances, partnering with an accounting recruitment firm is often the most effective way to streamline your hiring process and secure the best talent.
In this blog post, we’ll explore the benefits of working with accounting recruiters in Toronto, share tips for building a successful partnership, and offer insights into how recruitment firms can help elevate your accounting team.
Why Partner with Accounting Recruiters in Toronto?
Toronto is one of Canada’s leading business hubs, home to countless companies in industries such as finance, tech, manufacturing, and more. This diverse landscape creates a demand for highly skilled accounting professionals who can help organizations stay financially sound and compliant with evolving regulations.
Recruiting for these roles, however, requires more than just posting a job and waiting for applicants. Accounting professionals must possess a unique blend of technical expertise, attention to detail, and industry-specific knowledge. This is where working with top accounting recruiters in Toronto can provide a major advantage.
Benefits of Working with Accounting Recruitment Firms
Access to Specialized Talent A key benefit of partnering with an accounting recruitment firm is their access to a large pool of candidates who are pre-screened and ready for placement. Recruiters specialize in identifying individuals with the right mix of skills, certifications, and experience. Whether you’re looking for a senior accountant, auditor, or financial analyst, accounting recruiters in Toronto know where to find the best talent.
In-depth Industry Knowledge Accounting roles are often highly technical, requiring candidates who are not only good with numbers but who also understand tax laws, financial reporting, and industry-specific regulations. Recruitment agencies that specialize in accounting have a deep understanding of these technical requirements and are experts at matching candidates to the unique needs of your business.
Faster Hiring Process In today’s competitive job market, top accounting talent is often snapped up quickly. Relying solely on traditional hiring methods can result in missed opportunities, leaving your business at a disadvantage. By working with top accounting recruiters in Toronto, you can accelerate the hiring process. Recruitment firms have existing relationships with candidates, allowing them to move quickly to fill your vacancy before competitors do.
Reduced Risk of a Bad Hire Making a poor hiring decision can be costly in terms of time and money. Recruitment agencies take much of the guesswork out of hiring by conducting thorough candidate screenings, checking references, and even running background checks. This reduces the risk of hiring someone who may not be the right fit for your organization.
Tailored Recruitment Solutions Every company has unique hiring needs. A specialized accounting recruitment firm will work closely with your organization to understand your goals, company culture, and the specific qualifications you require for the role. This personalized approach ensures that you’re not just hiring someone with the right skills but also someone who aligns with your long-term vision and values.
Tips for Partnering with Toronto’s Accounting Recruiters
While working with a recruitment firm in Toronto can provide many benefits, it’s essential to approach the partnership strategically. Here are a few tips to help ensure a successful collaboration:
Clearly Define Your Needs Before reaching out to Toronto accounting recruitment firms, it’s essential to clearly understand the role you’re hiring for. What specific skills and qualifications are required? Is there room for flexibility in terms of experience or certifications? The more information you provide to your recruiter, the better equipped they will be to find candidates who meet your exact needs.
Choose the Right Recruitment Partner Not all recruitment firms are created equal, and it's important to choose a partner with a proven track record in accounting placements. Look for firms that specialize in finance and accounting roles, have a deep understanding of the Toronto job market, and have a strong network of candidates. Working with a firm that is well-established in the local accounting recruitment scene will increase your chances of finding the right candidate quickly.
Maintain Open Communication A successful partnership with an accounting recruitment firm is built on open and regular communication. Be clear about your expectations, timeline, and any potential challenges the recruiter should be aware of. Providing timely feedback on candidates and communicating any changes in your hiring needs will also help ensure a smooth process.
Trust the Recruiter’s Expertise Recruiters spend their entire careers studying the job market and understanding the needs of both employers and candidates. Trusting their expertise can go a long way in finding the right fit for your company. Whether it's advice on salary expectations, market trends, or candidate availability, lean on your recruiter’s industry knowledge to make informed decisions.
Provide a Positive Candidate Experience Remember that the recruitment process reflects your company. Even when working with an external recruiter, it’s important to maintain a positive candidate experience. Ensure interviews are conducted professionally, provide timely responses to candidate inquiries, and keep the lines of communication open throughout the hiring process. A positive experience can help you stand out in a competitive market, increasing your chances of securing top talent.
How to Choose the Best Accounting Recruiter in Toronto
When it comes to selecting the right accounting recruiters in Toronto, it’s important to look for firms that specialize in the accounting and finance sectors. These firms will have the expertise needed to identify candidates who are qualified and a strong fit for your company’s culture and goals.
Here are a few key qualities to look for:
Industry Expertise: Does the recruitment firm specialize in accounting and finance roles?
Track Record: How successful have they been in placing top accounting talent in the Toronto area?
Candidate Network: Do they have access to a strong pool of qualified accounting professionals?
Client Testimonials: What do previous clients say about their experience working with the firm?
Partnering with a specialized Toronto accounting recruitment firm can make all the difference when it comes to finding the right accounting professionals for your organization. By working with recruiters who understand the local market and have access to top-tier talent, you can streamline your hiring process, reduce the risk of a bad hire, and ensure that you’re bringing on the best possible candidates.

I shall now pick this object up...
Garf, Un-Named Male, Phalanges Mittens and Cat Fantastic were in theory working on part of the live ecosystem reclamation down in Sanitation.
Not an especially unusual situation, since they were after all, really high tech sanitation engineers from the future; or from their point of view, Life Support Tech.
A job's a job and people like to breathe clean air, not die of 'drinking water' or have to wade through sewage of any level.
The issue had been traced to monitoring probe that was hallucinating, and thus the apparent issue had been resolved in two minutes of work, three of swearing at a stuck bolt, and ten of getting Cat Fantastic to go get the replacement part, which had led to a long discussion between Garf and Un-Named male about how weird it was to see a Little Guy without a Big Atrix.
"Yes -- but Cat drives that tool trolley around, so it helps." Phalanges said, referring to the robotic workbench nicknamed "The Office".
The workbench was originally designed to follow a worker around, but since Phlanges didn't have a pouch for his Little Guy the way Garf did,t he and Dave had converted the thing to keep Cat warm.
Later, once they got the manual remote replaced by a unit Cat could use, they'd added a basket for snacks so Cat could do a drinks and sandwich run to the Cafeteria, and a cargo box to haul parts and tools.
Around then Dave herself showed up and took a professional look through the viewport at huge tray of essentially very wet dirt that a variety of mosses and fungi and earth plants were cohabiting on.
Dave of course was the certified expert in this system, so it behoved her to stick her snout in and take a look-see.
"Stuck gas probe?" she guessed and then rather theatrically reached in and picked up a bottle of Lychee soda from the snack storage using two claws.
Garf and the two Little Guys reacted appropriately with amazement and Phalanges who was actually Human and usually fairly good at this stuff had to say, "OK what am I missing?".
Almost everyone held up their hands.
Phalanges looked around and then held up his hand.
"Oh. Oh!" he said.
Tsin have three fingers and an opposable thumb. All of them have large, sturdy digging claws.
Atrix have two fingers and two thumbs, which have thick, conical claws.
Terrafruit Fruits of Earth (Tee Em) bottles have no claws but are very smooth and incredibly hard to hold unless one get's their palm and fingers around it... and Dave had lifted it human style.
Dave's not human. She's a Tsin. This may or may not have been mentioned before.
Phalanges, biologically human but extremely well integrated with non-human ergonomics gets it.
"OK... I can tell you're dying to show off." he said.
"You bet your sweet bippy I am!" said Dave who's mastery of colloquial English was charmingly archaic.
She held out a hand and on examination: There were silicone pads fixed in place on the inside curve of her claws - Textured pads.
"Hang on, is that...?" said Phalanges, and Dave said "Yes! Fingerprints!"
"Who's?"
"Nobody's. It's a generated, semi symmetrical pattern, and they're all the same." explained Dave. "They're called Humanfingers."
"A name that will not cause any confusion or sound weird and creepy." said Phalanges wryly. "Though I can see the use."
"Yeah. They were invented on the station." Dave said proudly. "And I think the marketing lab is working on the name. As per normal it's Eat your Own Mushrooms time so I have been Authorised to distribute everyone's test sets. Let me just reach into my pocket..."
Dave made a show of taking out individual packets with just her claw tips. Two small sets for Un-Named Male and Cat Fantastic. One for Garf, who started by helping un-named Male get his on so he could help her.
Phalanges took the hint and helped his Little Guy, and soon Cat was practicing with them on The Office's control pad, Un-Named male doing some backseat driving.
"And of course, because the computer was told to automate the manufacturing and disbursement for all non-humans based on staff profiles..." said Dave with glee.
"Oh no." said Phalanges and held out a hand.
Dave dropped the last packet into his hand. It contained ten thimble like objects with oval pads on each.
"The print team were so amused when they got the error that they didn't have the right biometric data that they whipped up a unique set for you." Dave told her buddy.
Phalanges - Priorly the other Dave of Dave The Human and Dave the Human ceremoniously put them all on and made menacing finger wiggles. "You know this means that I can no longer be identified for my many future crimes via fingerprint." he said.
Dave looked at Garf, who shrugged and said, "Don't look at me. This monster... you created."

Tips for Presenting at Conventions
YOU can present at conventions!
Seriously. You reading this. You can.
As a programming director for a local convention with several years of experience (and a lot less hair than I started with), I thought I'd make an informative post to help newbies join the fray and have some fun.
Here are the basics:
Know what you want to present, and get specific with it ("Vampires" is a lot less inspiring than "America's vampires: slavery, class warfare, and myths of antiquity." It will also up your chances of being accepted if someone else is presenting about another vampire-related topic.).
Make sure you're addressing the right topic for that convention (the above presentation would rock at horror or steampunk cons but probably not an anime or comic con).
Check the convention website for proposal directions. There will probably be a form. Take your time and fill out the whole thing.
If there are issues when the programming director reaches out to you, address them promptly. They won't be able to do much except drop your presentation from the schedule if you wait til two weeks before the show to explain you have other commitments at the time you're supposed to present.
Assume things are hellish behind the scenes and be patient and polite if things go wrong (I can promise things are worse than you think).
Come prepared. Bring the tech hookups your show director advises for projectors/any handouts/etc.
Engage the audience, but don't feel bad about ignoring problematic audience members. If the know-it-all in row three wanted to do this presentation, he should've submitted a proposal and done the work.
Have fun! And don't feel bad about a bit of shilling. Want folks to know about your website? Book? TikTok? Share it! If they liked your presentation, they probably want more of your content.
And now, my dears, we must address the "Don'ts":
Do not submit an idea for a panel (a presentation with more than one presenter/usually a group of experts discussing the topic) without having put together a panel. It is not the programming director's job to find panelists for your panel. It is not the programming director's job to contact your dream panelists and enlist them to your panel. It is your job. All yours. You literally signed up for it. It should be fun. Do it.
Do not assume that because you are friends with someone on staff and have discussed your presentation that it is accepted and on the schedule. Submit the form. If you aren't sure you did that, and you haven't received confirmation of receipt, email and ask BEFORE THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE.
Do not become the bully by playing victim if you don't get what you want (a time you don't like/room you don't like/aren't accepted/etc.). (This is different from discrimination, and you know it, so don't @ me.)
Don't complain about attendance/imply it is the programming director's job to wrangle people in for you. I have a friend who walked around in a sandwich board sign challenging people to duels to draw attention to his presentation. It worked a treat.
Don't claim you're only available during peek hours. Everyone wants to present on Saturday. No one wants to present in the morning. Anticipated hangovers do not count as a disability (there are probably presenters with genuine time-related needs linked to their disabilities - so don't be a twat). The friend mentioned above could pack out the largest room during the earliest time slot. Have something interesting to say and make sure people are aware. Then you'll have an audience as hung-over but enthusiastic as you are.
Really, though, I hope more of you get out there and participate in local conventions! Small ones are eager for new blood, and they're a great way to meet people with similar interests. Have fun out there, and remember the two key rules: enjoy yourself, and don't be a dick.

I work IT at a university help desk, and I may actually be able to clear this one up.
For my job, we get a lot of account access related calls, so the version of "did you restart the computer" for us is "can you try going to your main account page and logging in."
When someone calls and says they can't access something tied in with their university account, we'll usually start with confirming their credentials are what they say they are even if they tell us they were able to log into other services of ours just earlier that day. We do this not because it's a script (we don't actually have those, there's a couple main points we need to hit, but mostly it's just that the same common sense questions apply to everyone), but because it tells us several things:
If they're using the wrong username (happens a lot because the nomenclature for our school's email addresses changed a while back, and the old ones are still used as aliases but can't be used to log into things with, so this happens a lot with alumni and new students.
If they actually type in their password - some people will save their passwords, and then after resetting them, that info will be wrong. Depending on exactly what the situation is, seeing how they log into something can tip us off about this.
It gives us more info about edge cases. If the user gets a really wonky error, then they can read it out to us directly rather than just saying "it isn't working."
Sometimes people honest to god will just make a mistake. This happens a lot when someone calls saying they just reset their password, but now they can't log in to anything; chances are they wrote their password down wrong. Or, hey, sometimes computer gremlins Just Happen. Either way, if they try to sign in and it doesn't work, they're conveniently at the page where they can reset their password from. So, if they do just get a "wrong password" error, we can go right ahead and show them how to reset it, then make sure they can log in for real this time.
Checking that users can log in usually takes quite literally less than one minute, and if it takes more, then it's probably a very good idea we tried that for starters.
Both those comments are, in some sense, right. The first one is right because 90% of the time, it's the easy and obvious solutions that fix the problem, and the thing is just that the customer was doing them slightly wrong, or didn't know something they needed to, or something of the sort. The second one is right in terms of the experience a lot of people seem to have - there are indeed dumbasses out there like that person who understand rudimentary troubleshooting just enough to get annoyed when someone asks them to give it one more shot real quick, but not enough to realize that there's usually good reason behind the request. And when they get all snippy thinking that they know way more than the tech support people, they do a fantastic job of making the call an absolute nightmare for everyone involved, becoming some sort of obnoxious self-fulfilling prophecy.
Also? There are absolutely customers who know their stuff, and as soon as that becomes apparent, I'll up the technical lingo to match theirs right away. Thing is, every single time I have someone on the phone who starts off the call by telling me how much they know their stuff, without fail, they will then immediately prove themselves wrong. I have yet to encounter someone who acts that way who turns out to be the tech whiz they think they are.
Tech support people don't want to keep you on the phone longer than they absolutely have to, and it's not just for your sanity - it's also for ours. If we're asking you to try a thing, it's for a good damn reason, and the fastest way to actually get your problem sorted out is to maybe trust the expert you called, because if you could've fixed it yourself, then you wouldn't be on the phone with us.

How to find the best institute?
In today’s competitive job market, students and professionals alike are on the lookout for courses that promise solid career opportunities—ideally, those with 100% placement. But is there truly a course that guarantees a job for every graduate? While no course can guarantee employment, some consistently deliver high placement rates thanks to their industry relevance, hands-on training, and growing demand.
In this blog post, we’ll explore the best courses for 100% placement, what makes them effective, and how to choose the right one for you.

Why Placement Matters More Than Ever
According to a report by India Skills Report 2024, only 46.2% of graduates in India are considered employable. That’s a startling statistic—one that underscores the importance of choosing job-oriented courses designed with market demand in mind.
The 3 Key Elements of a 100% Placement Course:
Industry-Relevant Curriculum: Courses aligned with current job market trends.
Practical Training & Internships: Real-world experience that makes you job-ready.
Strong Placement Support: Active placement cells, industry tie-ups, and career mentorship.
Top Courses That Offer 100% Placement Potential
Here’s a list of high-demand, job-focused courses that consistently show excellent placement results:
1. Full Stack Web Development
Why it works: Every business today needs a digital presence.
Placement rate: Over 90% in top coding bootcamps; some report 100% placement for top performers.
Job roles: Front-end Developer, Back-end Developer, Full Stack Engineer.
2. Data Science & Analytics
Why it works: Data is the new oil, and analysts are in high demand.
Companies hiring: Amazon, Flipkart, Accenture, TCS.
Job roles: Data Analyst, Data Scientist, BI Analyst.
3. Digital Marketing Certification
Why it works: Cost-effective, short duration, and opens freelance or full-time opportunities.
Job roles: SEO Specialist, PPC Analyst, Content Marketer, Social Media Manager.
Average salary: ₹3-6 LPA starting, higher with experience.
Tip: Look for institutes offering live project experience and Google certifications.
4. Government Exam Coaching (e.g., TNPSC)
Why it works: Government jobs offer security and perks; competition is high, but success rates improve with coaching.
Best option in Tamil Nadu: A reputed TNPSC coaching center in Coimbatore provides structured training and expert guidance to maximize success chances.
Job roles: Civil servants, administrative officers, clerks in Tamil Nadu government departments.
Specialized Courses With 100% Placement Track Records
Some niche courses also claim 100% placement, especially in institutes with tight industry integration:
Hotel Management (IHM) – High demand in tourism and hospitality.
AI & Machine Learning (IIT/IIM-backed courses) – High-end tech jobs.
Animation & VFX – With the boom in OTT platforms and gaming.
These are often offered by reputed institutes with placement guarantees or refunds if not placed within a period.
How to Choose the Right Course for 100% Placement
Here are some actionable tips to help you decide:
Research the Institute's Placement History
Don’t just go by “100% placement” claims. Look at:
Past placement stats
List of recruiters
Average and highest salary offered
Check the Curriculum and Teaching Methods
Ensure it includes:
Practical labs
Real-world projects
Case studies
Look for Mentorship & Support
Courses with one-on-one mentoring, resume building, and mock interviews often lead to better job outcomes.
Real-World Example: From Course to Career
“The live projects and constant mentoring helped me land a role at a top media agency even before I completed the course. It really was the best course for 100% placement in my case!”
Similarly, Rajesh, who attended a reputed TNPSC coaching center in Coimbatore, cleared Group II services on his second attempt, crediting the structured guidance and mock tests provided.
Conclusion: Your Future Starts With the Right Choice
Choosing the best course for 100% placement is about aligning your interests with market demand and selecting an institute that offers solid training and job support.
Whether it’s full stack development, data science, or preparing for a government job at a TNPSC coaching center in Coimbatore, the key is taking a proactive, informed approach.
