Lantern/Fog/Flannel?
Lantern: I first met my best friend in an English class that I did not want to be in/was only placed in because undiagnosed ADHD kicked my entire ass when I was in highschool & my school was at least kind enough to place me in an English class with my grade while I finished up an online version of the previous English class through gritted teeth. I wouldn't trade meeting him for anything.
My first impression of him can be summed up with the following sequence of thoughts that ran through my head: "!(?New?™!)!!!(!!)((queer?))(!)LooksCool™/Fucking Thank God There Is A Person In This Class I Feel At All Inclined To Talking To I Hope They Talk To Me"
You'd have to ask @clichenuance for his first impressions of me, for all my curiosities about it I feel deeply uncomfortable speculating about how other people perceive me.
Fog: The answer to that entirely depends upon whether I know that the people I care about are alive, I'm afraid. As far as any apocalypse goes I'm simply still not convinced that I'd bother with the effort if I was in a lone survivor of my group scenario.
That said, assuming my siblings are alive and that we are able to maintain our current primary location (which should be rural enough to escape the worst of any initial outbreak) I think that we would be in a decent position to scrape a survival scenario out of a zombie apocalypse, and I have a few skill sets and approximate knowledge of several skills & location of several resources that would not be the targets of initial looting that would be helpful in various ways.
It's not an ideal situation, certainly, but the bottom line is I feel relatively positive about my odds in a standard zombie apocalypse scenario.
Flannel: Ah.
I've never gone on Any dates, period, as far as I'm aware. Certainly not in a non-platonic capacity.
I'd quite like to try it out, actually, I think. But that's kind of a tangled web to dive into.

It’s not much but it’s honest work, trying to draw on a 8 hour flight never results in good final work, but god does it make laying shit out at the beginning interesting. always for the shits and giggles.
Probably gonna do other mini pieces in between since this will probably take a while.
With that in mind, perish by my hand
(I eat dry wall with much enthusiasm when re-reading your fics. I am 50% dry wall, 50% malice, and 100% throwing hands)
*stares*
"Not much work" they say
Meanwhile, I say;
*nyooms around happily, going a bit insane at the amazingness of this*
SHAJWJJSJ THANK YOU??? That's- amazing???
Such a beautiful, beautiful and utterly hilarious piece of work, truly 👀👀👀👀🥺
The four first more serious-looking frames are- woah!! You drew SIkuna so cool!!! Jsjwjwjsj
(and you gave him, amongst other things, the slightly pointed ears!!! That fits so well in this artstyle!!! Yay!!! :DDD)
The rest is just- *chefs kiss* as well absolute PEAK of a shitpost (100% Appreciative use of the word)
(I mean the Whole is a beautiful high-effort shitpost but you know) lmfao,
SIkuna's expressions are Hilarious (the little dots of Red in im his eyes at the end lmao, my guy is PANIK-) and the way Yuji appeared in the Domain in thE FAMILY GUY DEATH POSE MADE ME CACKLE LMAO- 😂😂😂
I am already absolutely Amazed, and looking forward to both the mini pieces (although you're of course not obligated to do those at all (and neither are you to do the bigger one ofc, it's 100% up to your own want and I appreciate it greatly 🥺🥺🥺🤗🤗🤗) and the finished thing (*explodes from joy*)
I'd gladly perish by your hand for this ngl, and just overall thank you so much!!!!!! :DDDDDD
(also, I hope you don't mind, but I screenshot the frames and would like to include the screenshots so that everyone can see their beauty in full;
(this took way too many tries but they're worth it lmao- (forgive the imperfect cropping of them in places pls)))

Hello hello everybody! It is time for another months progress, and I am so excited to share with you, all the things I have gotten my grimy little gremlin hands on.
First off, what we are all here for; writing. I have been on fire, to be honest! Last month I churned through the last of the first batch of erotica stories (there's 6 (!!!) of them on my patreon already) and set them up for publishing along with two more unseen ones- I'm still going over the logistics of where to publish for the best revenue (I know this sounds boring, but I have to make an income somehow, and hopefully find another audience as a smut writer on other platforms 💀 I love writing it so why not!), and I am making headway, learning the ins and outs of self publishing. On patreon, there are also two Q&A's that are written in a bit more fictional manner, in character: a more fun way than just writing answers straight up and down. I have enjoyed those so much! There's a bunch of other stuff I haven't even mentioned- honestly, I have to say, I'm really proud of my output on Patreon even though I have been really anxious about writing full time. It's going great!
I have to thank my new friends and support-network on discord; you make this all worth it. I cannot express how fun it is to shoot the shit with you in vc, gaming together, or seeing your shenanigans in gen or your in depth theories (thanks for the brainworms!) or memes or staring longingly at the fanfic channel or drooling over your art (ouro related or not) or... Gah. You are just amazing people, and I will waste no opportunity in saying so. Thank you forever and ever and ever an-
When it comes to OUROBOROS, I am happy to announce that the next chapter is damn near done! I was halted because of the discovery that dashingdon is no longer supported by it's creator, and have been working on the twine version ever since, earlier than I expected- it's tough work, but I am so excited to make this an actual game made entirely by myself, and not submitting to a company that quite frankly leaves a bitter aftertaste. It is taking long to make because I want to make it mobile compatible from the start, which there isn't a lot of resources for. But I'm doing my best! The plan is that I will be posting the next chapter for Patreons in the coming month, and then treat you to a full twine release here on tumblr. I haven't made any rewrites when porting the twine build, but I would like to do that too... so we will see; this plan is not set in stone. I will just have to see how it evolves over the next month. Yes, beta-readers is still on the schedule, just holding off a little while while I wrap my head around this new coding landscape.
Other than that, I have been working on the set aesthetic for ouro, which has been really hard, a lot harder than I expected. You all know I am no wizard when it comes to graphic design, but I want to at least develop a set palette and imagery and portraits that is cohesive to the story. The work is ongoing, and I don't have much to say about it- even though it is taking a lot of my brain power. I'm hoping I can come to some kind of set and in depth conclusion that I am happy with before the twine release, because I want the game to feel like a treat to open up and play; a world to get lost in.
That's it! If you want to see weekly and more in depth dev-logs, you know where to go. I hope you have an amazing day or night, and we will see each other soon. xx

hi sam! who your fave characters are in jjk??
hi mariam!!! <3 <3
HMMMM let's see here....
Megumi & Yuuji are tied for my favorite spot. I love a dark and moody character with a tragic past and a bone-deep manic need to have the last laugh (ready to suicide pact with anyone who looks at him wrong and I Feel That), and I equally love a sweet and funny character who gets put through the wringer and slowly starts to lose pieces of themself as the world and their life crumbles around them <3 (and they were roommates / oh my god they were roommates)
Yuuta is second because I love prodigy characters who are not the protagonist; you just don't see it very often! He's insanely good at what he does and has just an ocean's worth of raw talent, plus his devoted curse of a girlfriend is a Queen, but he spends the entire beginning of the story just... traveling. Not being helpful. Unimportant to the plot. Yuuta could fix this problem but Yuuta is getting a tan and a new haircut on the other side of the world. But when he does come back, he bears Atlas' burden because he must, and that's just so MWAH to me. Also eye bags and dead eyes are SO good. A+ character design.
Nobara is third! She's such a beautifully crafted character, bearing the backstory of a typical shonen protagonist all while knowing her worth and shooting for the stars. She's a bitch (affectionate) and is loved in spite of/because of it. Holds her own in a male-dominated cast and demands respect from her peers. Just a great balance in her characterization of being traditionally feminine but also loud and imposing and taking up the space she deserves. And she kicks ass! And she's funny!
I don't think I can properly rank the others because they all have their moments! Maki's struggles are so grounded in reality when compared to just, like, Women in the real world (working twice as hard for half the accolades if even), and the tragedy involved in her arc is devastating but really well done. I have an insanely soft spot for Inumaki because silent/quiet characters who have sick as hell powers are, admittedly, a favorite of mine (and the fact that he's goofy/a jokester adds a fun layer to him). I love Choso so insanely much; he tries so hard to be a good brother even after fucking up really, really bad at first KJSDVBJKDFVB. I am insane about the regression arc that Geto goes through. Obsessed with characters who get Worse but continue to think that they are in the right. Nanami is such a great adult character, bearing burdens because he's older and he "should," caring for the kids and being a level-headed pillar of guidance. Love a dad™ character. Sukuna also is like... yeah sure maybe he has the most uninspired Reason™ to be evil, but god that's actually a lot of fun. Who needs a villain origin story when you can just be bored and causing mayhem for your own enjoyment :D

Lol, I put this on submit instead of ask. Sorry if you see this twice, I have no idea how that function works on this hellsite.
---
Be a curse spirit.
Not just any curse spirit, a special grade curse spirit. Complete with intelligence, an intimidating form, and a powerful technique that you wield with a level of expertise that only the oldest curse spirits can hope to match.
You're having fun, causing mayhem, maybe even eating a few of those humans that look so tasty.
You get into a few fights -- puny sorcerers who cannot hope to stand up to your might -- and relish the fear and terror you cause.
You go unbested, unharmed for a long while after you've formed. You doubt anyone can truly end you and your pride swells.
You feel invincible.
Then you come across a pink-haired human. A infant sorcerer judging by their curse energy.
You figure you could use a laugh and goad the human into a fight by killing a few baby humans that so happened to be lying around --
Or at least, you try to. The infant sorcerer proves to be more than a little bit skilled, along with fast. It rips the baby humans from your clutches and attacks you.
*A SERIES OF BRUTAL PUNCHES*
...okay wow, that actually hurt. A first for you.
Also, what the hell. How in the name of all that is unholy is this infant sorcerer so fast? And strong? You can sense its curse energy and aside from the delayed response from its curse energy it doesn't seem to be using any other techniques.
Is -- is it just naturally that fast and strong?!
That's...
No matter, as the infant sorcerer has left an opening for you to attack!
You lash out with your technique, laughing as it cuts through the infant sorcerer's flesh and bone --
Whoa.
Wait.
What?
Is -- is this sorcerer regenerating?
You cast out your elite special grade curse senses and -- okay yeah, that's positive energy.
Alright, so the infant sorcerer has reverse curse technique. No big deal, you have some regeneration of your own. Plus, you've gone up against your own kind many times in the past so you know what to do.
The infant sorcerer can't last forever, especially with all the curse energy its throwing out. You just have to wait for it to run out of energy and you'll have it.
*PUNCH*
Any second now.
*PUNCH*
Aaaaany second now.
*PUNCH*
...alright, what the FUCK.
How is this little insect's curse energy not going down?!
You must have hit it at least three dozen times in the last minute alone, each attack designed to be lethal as fuck! You can sense the positive energy in the air, you know its being used, and yet the kid's curse energy is barely affected!
Does this kid have a second technique?! Is that a thing?!
Alright, whatever. Whatever. You'll just wear this little twerp down and --
*FEAR*
*TERROR*
*THE EYE OF THE BEAST*
You are blasted with the worst wave of malice you have ever felt in your short life.
It as though hell itself ripped open, revealing the hunger and cruelty of a thousand demons who sought nothing more than to feed on your suffering.
The paralyzes you completely. The infant sorcerer takes advantage of this.
*BLACK FLASH*
*BLACK FLASH*
*BLACK FLASHx4*
FUCK THAT HURT!
Okay, you know what? Fuck this, you're going all out.
You whip out your Domain. The foolish sorcerer doesn't bother to escape, no doubt knowing that it is pointless. It is already within your guaranteed-hit effect and with how lethal your technique is, there is no way it'll have enough of its body left to regenerate.
You'll end this farce right here, right now -- !
"Oh?"
You stop.
Stop moving.
Stop breathing.
Stop thinking.
You stop everything and anything, for you know that if you make the slightest move, you will die.
"You dare lay a hand on my Vessel?"
The infant sorcerer was gone, having been replaced with a being whose name and deeds were carved into the very fabric of reality, so much so that every curse -- whether intelligent or not -- knows their name.
A being of all encompassing evil, of overwhelming might.
A being that all curse spirits fear and worship in the same breath.
"How every brave of you."
He sits upon a throne of Death and Despair, staring down at you with eyes that reflect all the pain and horror your end will become.
"How very... foolish."
Pain beyond the body.
Horror beyond the mind.
Violation beyond the soul.
A thousand tortures and a thousand nightmares descend upon you and you can do nothing but scream and scream and scream.
But the being before you only laughs and laughs and laughs, breaking and repairing you over and over and over again, ensuring that the torment is just as fresh as it was in the beginning.
You beg for death. Attempt to take it in your own hands.
But the Cruel God before you always brings you back, their many hands ripping you from the afterlife just as you begin to taste sweet oblivion.
You feel Fear. You experience Horror. You drown in Despair.
And it is only when your mind, body, and soul are unable to give the being the reactions it wants -- that you are finally allowed to die.
-----
Fighting Yuji is a nightmare in this universe, lol.
Not only is the kid crazy strong, crazy skilled, being taught by the two strongest beings in the entire verse, and has active 24/7 Wolverine regeneration on at all times (thanks SIkuna) --
But if by some miracle you manage to defeat him, you'll have to deal with a very pissed off, very overprotective King of Curses who will happily make the last few minutes/hours/days of your existence a torturous one.
I'd rather take on Gojo tbh.
The submission option worked well, just so you know for the future, but I noticed that you added/changed some things since then so I'll answer the 'revised' version haha :DDD
And- woAH woW WOWIE *insert that one Crash Bandicoot meme where he goes 'WOW'*
A beautiful fanfic for my fanfic (fanfic squared!!) holy macaroni I am HONOURED 🤗🤗🤗🥺🥺🥺
This is such a cool concept, and well, not too dissimilar from the truth heh - indeed, once Yuji and SIkuna get more in-sync with everything Yuji will be Quite the interesting opponent (i. e. not one you'd want to have against you even remotely lmao) to have for sure haha
I love the idea of the POV being an Outsider POV (how in-line with the Main Series proper haha) and the alien (not literally lol) nature of the POV character certainly adds an interesting perspective to how Yuji fighting with SIkuna's active help may turn out heh
And like, yeah, SIkuna's intensity with the revenge for the fight is very understandable and accurate, coming from him after Yuji got freaking mauled during the fight
- the first Special Grade got a taste of a similar thing for 'only' cutting Yuji's arm off heh, meanwhile here this almost-wanna-say-poor Curse not only hurt Yuji much worse, but it would have very likely killed the kid without SIkuna's interference, regardless of his amazingness
And that's, just a little bit Absolutely Unforgivable ::)
The way you described Yuji's fighting style (like his oddly high strength and speed without any CE usage) and SIkuna's intimidating-as-hell presence (Gotta Love Me Some Eldritch Horror) was very evocative, very Cool and Spooky indeed!!! :DDDDD
Honestly, yeah, I feel like basically anyone in the SG(LAT)-verse would rather take on Gojo, despite him being Gojo Freaking Satoru, rather than SIkuna in any way (and Yuji too tbh lmao)
- not getting into power levels and such, it's simply much much more likely to have a swifter death you know
SIkuna doesn't kill everything in this strong of a brutal manner sure, but he could - and that's just a bit too much of a risk ngl
(and just- The sheer dread and horror even his presence imposes on the world is Something Else Altogether, being in the other end of that whole thing also being actively malicious (or malevolent heh) towards you is just, not a Good Time 💀)
Anywayyy - thank you so much again AAAAA I cri (of joy) fr 🥺😭🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

tell me about crossnamera. To be honest, they’ve never really clicked with me but the fic I’m planning has them be together and I wanna do it well.
Okay, so this will probably be long.
For me, one of the things that make me love crossnamara is about the trust they had with each other.
We don't know much about their relationship pre-portal: Wilbur was MacNamara's mentor, he taught Macnamara all about the creatures he would later leave him to serve. By the way they speak about the other, they might've spent a lot of time together, working on different missions, getting to know the other. Maybe they shared some drinks, maybe they shared some secrets that no one else could understand. After all, not everyone would believe them if they talked about the paranormal, the extraterrestrial or the interdimensional.
Moreover, they might have had other secrets they shared. On one hand, MacNamara is confirmed to be queer by the Langs. On the other, Wilbur reads as the same type of antagonist as Owen, that is, a queer villain (I hc there's something funky going on with his gender too, but that's for another day). By being two queer men working for the government in the early 2000s, they could not only see someone like them (as people wouldn't be as out as they are today), but also they could see someone like them in a field not made for them. They'd have another person to go to.
However, what makes their relationship so interesting to me is how, even if there is/was a deep bond between them, their convictions are greater than any of their feelings. Wilbur will always turn to the Lords in Black, as he believes they'll liberate him and humanity. On the other hand, even if John once loved the person that called himself Wilbur Cross, he'd never let the world die for him. Their love is very important, but, when the chips are down, it won't make much of a difference. Maybe their conversations will be softer, maybe they'll kill the other in a fastest way than they'd do with others, but facing their former partner won't make them stop.
Although during their face-downs they will do what they have to do, I also think they are haunting presences in the other's life. MacNamara sees Wilbur in new cadets and old threats, remembering the person he knew before the portal. Wilbur remembers the man he once trained when he tricks younger folks to enter a world too big for them. It's about absences, and what might be built on them (I also love the headcanon that Wilbur and John switched tags before the portal incident and they've kept them).
TL;DR them..... I need the Langs to give us more info about what happened in 2005, because there's so much (angst) potential.
