i don't really have any more thoughts on 'and when my strength is gone i'll stop' but i did have a thought, regarding a tcba no-massacre au i wrote on here a while ago, bc i was sucked into trying to figure out the mechanics of how this would even be slightly plausible (my curse), and well.

the explanation for that is that danzo steals mariko for root (as he hints he'd been thinking of doing in ch 17 of tcba), and she just. decides to fuck everything up for the best :)

I have not been SUPER active on Tumblr and I've really only talked to like, one person on here who came from my writing endeavors (who I quickly hustled over to Discord, because she was cool and awesome and I was excited to be her friend!) so I wasn't super paying attention and/or expecting anything like this so, AHHHH HIIIII! 💖💖💖

I must confess that I do not read a WHOLE lotta fanfiction; the stories that I do read, I tend to read like, over and over and over again, because I am very much a gross little creature of comfort, and most of those are on my bookmarks list already! I also tend to usually prefer one shots to long form fic because I'm usually jumping into something for a particular kink! 🫠🫠 There were a few long boys I was reading for awhile, but their authors have admitted to giving up on them or have been AWOL for like, well over a year. ): I don't have a lot of time to read long form stuff on the reg, sadly, and when I do, I try to make room for nerdy sci-fi and fantasy books because I am -- unsurprisingly -- a heug nerd!

But I will clean up my AO3 rec list over the weekend and let you know in an AN when I get around to it! I'm hoping to post the next chapter soonish! (Gods willing... 🙏🙏)
