oh my god the context for this sucks but that brief moment of tenderness between elise and lebkuchen!!! the utter relief and love on leb's face...the way elise visibly softens for her...no matter what happens they'll always have each other's backs (we will ignore the bad endings please and thank you)

Finally got to live out a years long dream of seeing one of my all time favorite shows live tonight in Boston!! If you don't have tickets to see The Attic yet, go get them!! The perfect show! The perfect way to kick off spooky season!

I know it’s late, but happy Trans Day of Visibility! I’m Jen, 30, Enby. I don’t think I’ve actually engaged in this before, despite coming out at I think a few years ago (at least online). I think I doubted my place in the community, being a femme presenting enby and not a binary trans person. Hopefully people don’t mind me being here. I saw The Attic last week and it was FANTASTIC!!! This is definitely the best Night Vale live show I’ve seen yet!! This podcast means so much to me, thank you Night Vale for keeping me weird :-))

The Attic blew it out of the water. Honestly, amazing. I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time- and the story hit remarkably close to home. Go see it if you still can.

AHHHH THE WTNV LIVE SHOW WAS SO GOOOOOODDD

I had so much fun, it was incredibly well put together, the musical guest was AMAZING, I don’t think I stopped grinning the entire time. It was so chaotic, I can’t wait to get my own Lee Marvin baseball card, 10/10 no notes. It encapsulated everything I love about Night Vale. The silliness, the chaos, the horror of existence, and the wonder that is the miracle of living the game of life.

was doing an apostasy run and i did leb's first date before ditching her completely to focus on the horrors, at some point i just decided to ignore her even for the nightly bread just for the maximum angst immersion.

imagine elise gets so engrossed in father hans' notes that she tunnel visions so hard she ignores leb of all ppl. she didn't tell leb about the woods, why would she tell her about father hans' walpurga investigation...we don't get that choice in game at all. not even a "hey, leb, you wanna see this creepy note i found right after mass?". like i get elise doesn't want to worry leb any more what with everything that's been happening, but surely she'd be the best person to help? as someone who literally shadows father hans almost 24/7? and we all know how the apostasy route ends! so that's fun.

god a apostasy + leb route run is just going to be so many layers of painful irony all just swept under the rug in her good ending. either that or that route combo just makes the apostasy ending infinitely more painful...

amidst the angst fest though i picked the bitchy options during the friday church confrontation just so that i could watch elise and leb tag team the townsfolk. leb's quite assertive on her own already there, might as well join in on the shit talking
