So…I just finished a video game The Big Con

It may or may not be already taking over my brain, so I had to draw it out of my system (it did not leave).

I love this game, and I need more people in the fandom that doesn’t exist. Please check it out it’s so good 😭😭🙏🙏

Look. I’m aware you can ask about Ted’s family, you have the option. But I didn’t click it, because if I was in his situation and I was robbing my family who I lied about and overall clearly wanted nothing to do with them I wouldn’t want someone to ask about it if they found out. But anyways I think Ted Kabackzy is transgender and his parents were like ‘no you’re not. Either be what we want you to be or you’re out of here’ and obvi he was out of there. That’s it. He’s transgender.

83. The Big Con

Be gay, do crime. Cute little game! It reminds me of those early experimental DS games that solely used the touch screen.

This TrumpCoin to MelaniaCoin rug-pull reminds me of the best part of the late P.J. O'Rourke's chapter on post-communist Romania in Eat the Rich, about pyramid schemes: "We all knew it was a scam. We just thought we were in on it."

I just finished The Big Con its was super cute. It a very staright forward game and being a 90s baby it was a good chunk of lite nostalgia.

I feel like the only let down is the situation with Ted. I was waiting for the twist that he turned out to be a decent person. But I guess it all came down to him being an asshole. He doesn't even say "good con" because you steal the money back. It just feels flat cause you spend so much time with him.

The collector had the best pay off. He was just a weird guy who liked weird stuff and wanted friends. It cute to find out that the little kid in your home town is his nephew. An you give the kid your stickers. The collector also gives you 5 thousand dollars.

Which I'm assuming may have something to do with Ted if you try to race him to ex amount of money. I'm assuming he steals your stuff again and the collector gives you 5 thousandd so it hurts less.

All in all a good game, I think I like the road trip genre of video games a lot. Road 96 and now the big con both very big road trip vibes.

Is "Ali-c" from one of my favorites games, "The big con". Maybe she wouldn't react like that, but I'm proud of it...

Two levels into The Big Con and I'm having a blast. It's a goofy little indie game about a teenager saving her mom's business from loan sharks through a secret, special technique passed down to her by a traveling drifter: A mystical power known as "Stealing".

It's charmingly written with a goofy 90's retro aesthetic (As much as it pains me to call the 90's retro) and I'm genuinely loving it.
