Another thing with the book I said I was reading earlier, I don't know if this is where the author is going with this or if they're even aware, but the protagonist the book starts with is one of the most "woman with undiagnosed ADHD" I have read in a while. I quite like how messy the other protagonist is about her last love too. Even if it kinda sounds, oh my god, this could get really toxic and this person might get destructive in a really fragile way, it does genuinely sound like someone messily pouring their heart out over a lost love. We'll see where the author takes it, of course. Their other book also has a protagonist getting over a previous abusive relationship, so I'm sensing a theme here.

I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH, you can combine one 8oz can of pumpkin puree with one box cake mix (any kind but spice cake is best) and about 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, drop by tablespoon-ish onto a greased/parchment/silpat cookie sheet, and bake at 350F for 13-16 minutes

if there are no spices in either your cake mix or pumpkin puree i suggest adding warm spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves

You have synesthesia?? How does that work for you? Is this how you manage to use the word “meat” in a way that makes me go “holy shit that’s good and cool i need to read that sentence four more times” instead of “ew”?????

I do!!! Letters, numbers, and words all have colours and sometimes visual textures for me-- and while numbers and letters on their own are generally only a single colour (7 is a bright, grassy green!!! while "K" is a pale peachy pink, for example :] ), when i put them into words they often take on entirely new colours, some of which even bleed into each other like watercolour paints. Ironically, its why i use the UK spelling of "colour" in the first place-- the "u" turns what looks like a dull, desaturated blue into a smeared blue-and-purple that i find really pretty to look at :]] so when i say i like to paint with words, i kinda mean that literally 😂😂😂😂😂

But yeah, i'd imagine thats why my writing is Like That™ to some degree-- a lot of what im doing behind the scenes involves matching the colours and visual textures of a given word with all of the others in order to evoke a particular vibe or image in my writing. There are a lot of layers to how i write, but this is probably the one that takes both the most time AND is the one i happen to talk about the least WKDJWKSJEJ

There were some peeps miffed at EC for apparently making Sephiroth look too feminine, but this is the guy that has beautiful, knee-length hair that is rumored to be scented like roses and vanilla but who also has the physique of superman and a deep, powerful voice that is also mild and soft at the same time. He can do BOTH and he’s good at it ✨
