I'm not even close to kidding anymore; I think drawing iz stuff is helping me draw more loosely and avoid getting burned out. I had so much fun drawing Gaz!! It was wild "designing" a character after the challenge that was zim. Features wise, she takes after dib/dad, so I was basically just playing dress up with her. And you know what? She can have a little outfit variation, as a treat. (The big skull earrings are clashing and creating all sorts of tangents with her face framing hair thingies, but OH WELL!!!)

justification: now see anon i'd agree except there was that time that he was against my guy who can do no wrong and is always in the right every time. but i love and support you ghosties and love your guy even if he's committing minor atrocities. <3

bumped up to neutral though because there are too many situations where people claim bad's in the wrong when he's clearly not. they think he's a bad person because he... has a brain injury and was disabled by a nuclear explosion? because he killed people the same way everyone else also did in purgatory? he did no more wrong there than anyone else did ^.^

Watching the 12 hour 3-part LOST retrospective and realizing my brain was primed to be really, really receptive to dsmp because of the summer that I binged the entire show right before the last season aired. Like… the parallels between the two… the zeitgeist AND the way the story was handled etc etc

#like both were expected to go nowhere and blew up against all odds #both had HUGE casts where fans were constantly disappointed if their faves weren’t the ‘main character’ for that arc / episode #both had a noticeable decrease in quality and extremely unsatisfying ending but often it was due to circumstances outside of the writers #(streamers) control but they were blamed anyway #both had rabid fans and weird tie-ins like I can go oooooon #anyway. I was obsessed with lost as a kid LMAO

Man.#I just wanna see my boy in hd #the characters the story the writing the visuals the soundtrack the gameplay the weapons and powers options #It's all so beautiful and such a waste to keep it on the 3ds #ugh I know the control scheme would be hard to implement in the switch but honestly just give us both #let people choose between dual analogue (the wrong choice) and 3ds style (the correct choice)#and package the game with a stylus that'd be cool #Forever waiting for the day they say “well we do have *one* more announcement...” and Pit flies in saying “Sorry to keep you waiting!”#Luci's art tag

Watching a streamer do some joker matches (vs sora) in smash and i forgot how much i looooooove jokers moveset in this game; hes such a little menace ☺️

Zen as the middle child? I'm curious and would love to know what you're referring to 👀

This is the post in question btw for anyone confused because again I reblogged that like two days ago

The fastest answer is I've been seeing a lot of Ramattra as a Protective Older Brother to Zenyatta art, and have always seen Zenyatta Genji in the same Brotherly Found Family kind of relationship (vaguely all my relationships are grey and moldable by recent art I've seen)

So if this Found Family Tree goes Ramattra-Zenyatta-Genji, that makes Zenyatta a Middle Child which I feel is fitting.

The funnier half of it though is that sense Ramattra was made for the Omnic Crisis, and no Omnics were made after the Crisis, this means Zen (at 20) HAS to be older than Ramattra, physically. Meanwhile Genji is 35 if I remember right (the official character page doesn't show their ages anymore so this may be subject to change in OW2)

Meaning by AGE it'd go Genji-Zenyatta-Ramattra, keeping Zen the Middle Child once again.

Out of all the lore we could have possibly gotten for Zenyatta, after 6 years, they choose to make him a Middle Child. Short Middle Sibling Energy.

now that i think about it, i wonder how the rest of the playerbase actually sees chongyun. as in everyone who's not privy to his character stories and voice lines, and who probably haven't done his hangout event either. i wonder what kind of personality they think he has

#⇢₊˚⊹ 🩷∥ruby∥yo，ide yo !!#a common complaint among chongyun enjoyers is that he effectively seems to exist solely as shipping fodder with xingqiu #cuz whenever he makes an appearance in events it's always with xingqiu #the tcg event was a step in a different direction in that regard. which is a good thing #they can both be part of a limited event without being joined at the hip #but outside of the shipping thing #one streamer — who's not a chongyun main boooo (jkjk) — described him as “boring”#and he was making a “”tier list“”#(in big quotes cuz it's not an actual F-to-S tier list but more of a set of categories vaguely ordered from least to most agreeable)#anyway he put chongyun in a category he COULD make an argument for kind of. but in actuality he fits this one other category way more #which tells me that he knows jack about chong #that's all i have to go on. the only other thing about him the playerbase talks about is his weird kit and how he's a mid support at best #which is another discussion entirely #but yeah. seems like the playerbase at large sees chongyun as a character who just kinda... exists #hangouts are optional so anyone who doesn't care to do his or read his lore on the wiki just never get to learn about him as a character #kind of like an “if i don't see it it doesn't exist” type of deal. most people probably think he doesn't have any personality whatsoever #just because the game doesn't force you to see him
