The amount of fans who say that they wanted the Team Black family, specifically the kids, to have more arguments in order to make them more interesting like Team Green are confusing.

First, saying that Team Black should be ‘complex and interesting’ in the same way Team Green is, is the least complex and interesting development ever. It would be repetitive, with absolutely nothing new. No characterization, just a useless parallel that would contribute nothing besides another both sides are bad argument. Which we’ve all heard a thousand times by now, we don’t need to hear it again.

Second, that’s just too easy. Team Black is a very messy family - it’s got an uncle/niece relationship that’s been separated for 10 years, illegitimate Velaryon siblings that look nothing like the rest of TB, two black twins that haven’t been raised in Westeros, who all have to juggle being both step-siblings to each other and betrothed pairs, two very new half-brothers, and absolutely none of them have a very similar personality, except perhaps for Daemon and Baela. That’s got to be one of the most confusing and chaotic families ever made.

So the expected development would be for them to break apart. To have arguments. To never get along. That’s the easy route, because writing it would come without thinking. Jace doesn’t like Daemon? Super easy. Daemon wants to kill the Velaryon boys for his own sons while being sexist towards his daughters and their prospects of becoming Queen/Lady of High Tide? Boring and easy, no effort required. None of the siblings have a relationship with each other unless forced to? Don’t even have to write a line for that.

It’s simply not complex by a writing standpoint, because all of it can be written without putting in effort. The lines will write themselves, without needing to think of how everything affects the characters. In fact, nothing would affect the characters, because none of them would make the effort to be with or interact with each other. Nothing could develop or characterize them in a new way.

The better development would be for them to all come together despite those differences. To care for one another after having their initial families torn apart. The development as they all try to get along can result in arguments, and it won’t be perfect. However, everything that could happen would come from a place of love, and trying one’s best even with an odd and imperfect situation.

Jace might be uncertain about Daemon’s feelings toward his illegitimacy, but couldn’t they both be dedicated towards protecting the family? Daemon might want his blood on the throne, but shouldn’t it be easy for him to pass it through his daughters - it’s not like Baela is about to be submissive and take orders she doesn’t like from Jace. Joffrey isn’t Daemon’s son, but he will be raised by him his whole life - what’s that dynamic like? Rhaena doesn’t have a dragon, but could she be willing enough to learn diplomacy and politics and fashion from her stepmother? How does Rhaenyra even take being a stepmother, after such a bad relationship with her own? How did Rhaenyra and Daemon fully get back together - what arguments did they have, how did they resolve them, what were the better times they had together before the war? How did everyone take Rhaenyra being pregnant with Aegon after Laena just died of childbirth?

Exploring development like that would be better, and it would also be new. Not just ‘oh I wish Team Black wouldn’t get along so well and it’s so uninteresting, look at what it does to Team Green.’ We don’t need the exact relationship repeated.

It would also be nice to see a family that shouldn’t work at all, make it come together because of how dedicated they are to protecting and loving each other. That would actually be complex and interesting.

The only time I got angry, like really angry, with Minthara was my first time playing as a paladin. And, you know, we're at the coronation and talking to Gortash and what not and he says that he'll turn a blind eye on all the things we do as long as we get Orins stone and leave his affairs alone. And I'm all like, "cool whatever". And then there's Minthara in the background being all, "we should swear an oath to this guy." And I was all "Good idea! Great role play stuff, add it to my paladin oath. This seems like something that a paladin should do and maintain peace."

Imagine the feeling of shock and horror when the oath breaker knight shows up immediately after swearing an oath to Gortash cause I didn't realize doing that BREAKS MY FUCKING OATH!!

Yeah, I had to put Minthara in time out for that, shit pissed me off so much. It is just absolutely wild how many things she tells you to do that breaks your oath when she knows damn well it will. But, nah, she's over there in the back chillin cause she knows her oath is intact after encouraging you to demolish yours. Even funnier that her oath only breaks cause you also have to tell her to do so and she does not fucking care that it gets broken and thinks it's better that it is.

I honestly feel like oaths should get broken by association. If a paladin tells another to do something knowing it'll break the others oath, then theirs gets broken too. I would like to say that maybe it'll make Minthara think twice about telling other paladins to break their oaths, but I know it won't. She's still gonna do it anyway. Especially since she does have a line where she just straight up tells you directly to break your oath, or if your oath is already broken she's just all "nice! me too! 👍"

Hi! In Anyone, I'm curious about this: how would it be if AFO and AM never had their final battle? Because I refuse to believe Izuku wouldn't get into a bigger mess now that he has money. Money can solve any problem; if it doesn't it only means you probably don't have enough money. AFO is probably richer than God. Which means Izuku much be unstoppable.

Anyone was first defined as a story showing what would happen if Izuku was never chosen by All Might. That's the base on which the story stands.

But the truth is that under this base stands four wooden legs, three of which are broken, which are AFO being sent sooner to Tartarus. Izuku couldn't become Anyone if he didn't have the time and the freedom to invest a fuck ton of time and energy into Anyone. For that to happen, you need Inko to be gone. And AFO's leaving and the money problems it created is the reason why Inko is abroad.

They meet Freminet when Klee gets lost while diving and starts to cry because she can’t find big bro Kaeya anywhere

I feel like a current would get them separated, it's a new place and Klee is small--the current would definitely catch her off guard

And she's been told no more bombs by mister Wrio, and she's not about to go back to the courts and get Kaeya in trouble

Freminet finds Klee during his dive and he's a little confused why a kid is alone so he brings Klee to the shore and lets her hold Percy for a bit because Percy helps him calm down when he’s upset

In the meantime, he's trying to figure out what to do? Surely her guardiens are nearby, but Lyney used to tell him it's best to stay in one spot when he got lost as a kid.....so wouldn't it be better to keep Klee in one spot?

Meanwhile, Kaeya is the epitome of the “Timmy! The mother’s adrenaline is kicking in” meme because Alice and Klee’s father are so good to him and Archon's Damn It All he can’t loose Klee

Wrio is equally anxious, but he’s at least the calmer of the two. To be fair, he’s basically the law, so he’s pretty confident they’ll find Klee

They find her on the shore with Freminet exchanging stories about Percy and Dodoco

Cue both of them being Proud™ of their kids getting along, and Kaeya and Klee hugging bc that was something neither wants to repeat

Wrio looks after Freminet bc he secretly worries about him and his siblings, but mostly Freminet who is way too pale for his liking.

He knows the kid is probably pale from all the diving he does, but still, the kid doesn’t smile often, and damnit, does he have a soft spot for kids.

So what if he takes Freminet out for tea and a hot meal after he gets back from his dives? The kid is shivering, okay?

And maybe he makes sure the kid gets home safe because his deeper dives have him out way too late at night for his liking

(Lyney is secretly thankful for Wrio’s extra protection over the youngest sibling. He and Lynette would look after him, but their magic shows tend to run late)

He also may or may not have scolded Freminet a few times when he dives too deep and gets in trouble/injured--all while drying the kid off and tending to his injuries

And when they were in prison, he made sure to give them the best treatment he could because he knows it’s not the trio’s fault, it was the Fatui’s, he just needed to wait for the circumstances to come up in court to free them

in the time travel lance au, how much did lance tell the team/lotor? do they know hes from the future and that hes lance and how much things went to shit, or is he keeping the info from them(i mean you said hes doing that, but im curious as to how much hes actually letting them know)? also wait hold on. does the whole time travel situation mean that there are TWO lances running around now??

Pretty sure Lance tells them absolutely nothing. Just absolutely nothing. Fuck All. At best you can expect from him is vague riddles, very specific advice, and a 10-minute long call out session in Lotor's case where he drags him for every issue he ever had and after which he fucks off to do god knows what. And while Lance does try to keep his identity hidden, not to mention lets just say he is Off Putting enough to the point that the aliens do not connect him to any of the humans (except Kuron who recognized a movie reference).

And there are two Lances running around, though because of future!Lance, Shiro didnt reach Earth and instead he met Allura who got out from cryopod earlier

a very much plausible scenario played out in my head, where acosta and works ktm are a potent mix contending for a title, and pecco would usually have his terrible season start with marc asserting himself as primary rider to fight acosta. that would, perhaps, mean ducati will team order their reigning world champion pecco. it would be preferable for ktm to still not quite be there and prepared to take on the challenge, as i’d like to see how marc and pecco match up when they have only the two of them to worry about, but, hey, i’ll take what the season will give me!

the thing about ducati and team orders, right, is that usually they have five existential crises and try to powerfully hint to riders that they would like them to team order themselves and then have another existential crisis or twelve and are so terrified of the whole thing becoming a discourse point that... they're actually really bad at issuing them. like, yes, in an ideal world they'd like everyone to back their preferred challenger, but in reality it was usually up to the individual riders in both 2017 and 2022 whether they played ball. there were definitely late 2022 races where ducati riders caused pecco some real trouble, and the ones who most clearly made way for him on-track were ones who actually wanted him to win the title (aka his fellow academy riders). in 2017, they tried team orders in three races, and it didn't really do much to help dovi in a single one of those. the great thing about team orders is that you can just... ignore them. also, and this part is key - they only really happen late in the season. pecco has been through some very crazy championship fights by this point and he won't believe he's out of it until he's mathematically out of it. so, yeah, this would really only be relevant at the end of the year

quite honestly, even if this scneario does pan out and you get marc taking on acosta for the title, I really struggle to see a world in which pecco helps out marc's championship bid. I mean, you'd have to have a close title fight at the end of the season between those two (or indeed marquez v martin), and if marc's so clear of pecco on that ducati then I kind of doubt it's going to come to that. also, ducati will do obscene amounts of hand wringing before they come close to issuing an explicit public-ish instruction to pecco beyond 'try not to crash into your teammate'. and even if it did come to that... I think at most pecco does a lorenzo and plays lip service to the idea that under very specific circumstances he'd help marc, but they're specific enough that they just won't happen. and even if they did, he wouldn't help marc anyway lol. it'd be funny if you got to a situation where ducati does feel they need to ask him but. yeah. no. pecco's not doing it
