I've made and organized a complete canon timeline of Dragon Age—while much of this was already compiled on the timeline page on the wiki, I've added other events, noted the time of year, where applicable, and put down the years for the other two calendars we have! Each Age is in a different tab.

This is also intended to be used as a template to note down custom worldstate timelines as well—if you duplicate the spreadsheet and fill in the Orlesian Chantry Year, the other years will fill in automatically for you!

Sonic 10

Sonic Finds Robotnik once again, (oddly feeling drawn to him) and defeats him. Taking the 6 chaos emeralds the mad doctor had (he doesn’t know that they are why he kinda knew where he was). Sonic currently has no idea what they are or that the Doctor was actually looking for the last one. He doesn’t go super because he doesn’t have all 7. However, he knows that if Robotnik (he starts calling him Robuttnik right about now) wants them, they are probably too dangerous for the mad man to keep, so Sonic keeps them.

Note: Sonic can lightly detect Chaos Energy. He can loosely pinpoint the location of the Chaos Emeralds if he’s close enough.

Thinking about the Hero's Spirit

Okay, so, when Time left the Adult Timeline... he took the hero's spirit with him. There was no hero's spirit to reincarnate when Ganondorf re-emerged and (as of the goddesses flooding the world) no other spirit born that could become the bearer of the Triforce of Courage.

Until Wind. Wind, whose spirit is its own spirit, came and becomes the embodiment of courage unlike any other hero. He forges his own spirit into one unbreakable, restores the Triforce, and defeats Ganondorf at the age of twelve.

But his hero's spirit is stubborn in a way everyone else's is not. He doesn't need the goddess to bless him with reincarnation, he wasn't even born with the Triforce of Courage (due to the fragmentation) he restored it and out of sheer will became the one to bear it and he knows it. So out of sheer will and stubbornness, he reincarnates.

Enter Spirit. Spirit, who is a hero in every right, but he doesn't follow the beaten path because Wind's hero spirit doesn't do that. He chooses to be an engineer instead of a hero or a knight.

But then the timelines merge, and suddenly, there's two hero's spirits? What? Well, obviously First's goes to Warriors, but where does Wind's go?

Linkle. Linkle, because their spirit doesn't follow the beaten path, it makes its own path, it sails through the waves rather than with it, it forces the winds to yield to its call and its power, the limits of death does not bind it, the expectations of ghosts of the past does not force its hand.

First's, Sky's, and every other hero's, their spirit is one of tenacity, one of pain and suffering, one that can take every hit and still stand and fight. They share a spirit of determination, one of courage, one that is unbreakable because it will stand in the way and be the immovable object that will always be there to hold back the darkness.

But Wind's spirit? Wind's, Spirit's, Linkle's, their spirit is also one of determination, but theirs is one born of choice, theirs is a spirit of free will, of stubbornness and a need to stand their ground. They were not forged by pain like the others, but by love (for Aryll, for Phantom/ST!Zelda). They take every hit, but they don’t stand because they can and they must, they don’t get back up because they have this undying need to endure and to persevere, they get back up because of their loved ones and the people they protect. They are the unstoppable force that drives darkness back.

Don’t get me wrong, the original Hero's Spirit is still stubborn, those heroes are still an unstoppable force, they are still seeking to protect the people they love, but if you have a hero hated by all, a hero who has nobody they should logically be trying to protect? They would still fight because that's what's right, that's what their heart is like, the whole world could hate them and they'd still protect it because 'the people in that world deserve to be saved'. The Adult Timeline's spirit is much of the same, they are similar in spirit, but there are differences.

The original spirit is a forest, one that will never truly be destroyed because something will always survive and that something will regrow and restore the forest that once stood.

The second spirit is a river, carving its path through mountains and valleys, overcoming insurmountable odds and creating great canyons. Nothing can stop them for good.

obsessed with how the only way amarantha's plan could have worked is if the tamsand murders and revenge happened right before she came to prythian

imagine it happened, say 5-10ish years before amarantha started her mission. that's a short time for fae, right?

all the courts are extremely wary of each other because two ancient high lords and most of their families were just wiped out and no one except rhys and tamlin really knows what happened

there are so many rumors and everyone thinks someone is out to get them

on top of that both the spring court and the night court are not moving, which is a problem because they were kind of the driving forces in prythian. imagine it like if at the height of the cold war both the US and the soviet union imploded at the same moment and all the other countries are now like "well where the fuck does that leave us??"

rhysand isolates his court. he's grieving, he's dealing with the con and illyria, he's too busy with his own stuff to really care about the rest of prythian

half of tamlin's court is deserting, his father's men are leaving the government or they're being kicked out for their allegiance to his father and/or hybern

no one except tamlin likes seeing this because it makes everyone with power very nervous that lords and ladies with power are just getting kicked off their land like that

the other high lords don't trust tamlin because they think he is literally insane for doing what he's doing and also they don't know him because he wasn't who they thought would be high lord

they also don't trust rhysand because he's isolated himself to everyone and is also letting everyone run with the villain era assumptions

the nobles who were kicked out of the spring court seek refuge in hybern and tell the king what's going on over there hoping that he'll help them get back their land

he's like "i'll do you one better" and sends amarantha

she goes to all the high lords and is like "no totally the other courts are really untrustworthy and what happened with spring and night is crazy"

"we would totally never do this to you"

"and also if you wanted to become the new superpower in prythian now that night and spring are out we would totally back you 👀"

and because the high lords are all stupid and power hungry they believe her

and no one listens to tamlin when he voices concerns about amarantha because he only tells them what they already know (the war) and what is long in the past (how she creeped on him when he was a kid) and they already don't like him so who cares what he has to say

rhysand isn't saying anything either way, but everyone knows that he doesn't want to talk about tamlin, even less talk with him or be in the same room

while he's busy with velaris and illyria he kinda leaves the con to keir who immediately invites amarantha because he does not want to lose the night court superpower status by missing out on hybern's support

and rhys thinks he can kinda use amarantha's reputation to craft his own mask as "the evil guy" (which we know ends up backfiring spectacularly)

lucien also just came to the spring court

he's like 100something years old, he's just lost everything and tamlin just saved his life so of course he's young and stupid and very loyal to him and very loud about voicing his opinions about people he and tamlin don't like

also it makes sense that the former emissary would have deserted and instead of putting some guy in the position who might have already worked for his father tamlin just looks at lucien and is like "you know people, right? you need a job?"

and then when the masquerade ball comes around it's literally the first time tamlin and rhys are in the same room since the murders

and half of the reason why rhys doesn't bring the ic is that he doesn't trust amarantha but the other half is he thinks azriel and cassian might actually just try to kill tamlin if they got anywhere near him

so he goes alone

and is immediately distracted when he sees tamlin, and he doesn't pay enough attention to his surroundings, and he can't do this sober and oh my fucking god he underestimated how terrible this was going to be and oops

now they're all cursed

this would also explain how rhys and tamlin haven't gotten very far with changing their courts (tamlin falling back on his father's methods in acomaf and rhysand only having formally forbidden wing clipping and minimal training for females in illyria without any actual measures to back it up). change would be slow if they've only been in power for like, 60ish years (minus the 50 years utm)

Hello- this is just me writing down the timeline for doai metamorphism! Keeping things vague but I want to give everyone some idea of time period and the like (and hoping this kicks my brain into gear so that I can work on trying to either write or draw the vol 0 for metamorphism like i did for "all in jest") 1989- Alex meets Clyde sometime late fall, they become sandwich buddies, normal season 1 sitcom au stuff 1990- normal season 1 sitcom stuff for a majority of it until sometime in late winter/early spring Alex would find out about Winfrey, save patient 66, and get named a fugitive and go on the world's worst road trip early 1991- the great rescue of Winfrey- and the year Alex dies, as this is going off my bad end where Lankman (After getting his shit rocked but not killed (cause the old bastard refuses to die)) get a lucky shot with a pistol and alex asks cylde to eat them. Late 1991/early 1992- Alex gets "reborn"/Remade as a veldigun- pieces of their human memory are gone but for the most part, it is Alex. Also by this point, the asylum would have been fully abandoned- because while not everyone Knows about what happens, everyone knows some bad shit happened there and refuses to go there. (secert stuff o0o0o0o0o0) 1993- Bee is born (Secert stuff o0o0o0o0o0) Time jump (Secert stuff o0o0o0o0o0) 2010- Bee, 17 years old, goes on a school field trip- and this is where are story begins

So yeah- Timeline stuff!!

Just some like- fanfic brainstorming here because putting it in my writing application makes it harder for me to understand.

From Operation: Breakdown to Thirst there are 43 episodes, 24 of which are not direct continuations of a previous or following episode.

The One Shall Fall-One Shall Rise-Orion Pax episodes all happen one after the other as direct continuations with a mentioned two month timeskip between One Shall Rise Part 3 and Orion Pax Part 1 so they can be counted together as two months passed with change (maybe a day or two to spare?)

Then there's the Operation: Bumblebee two-parter which happened within one day I believe.

Tunnel Vision occurs at the same time as Triangulation, Triage, and Toxicity so that's one day across all four episodes.

Legacy is followed by Alpha/Omega then Hard Knocks, Inside Job, and Patch occur consecutively .

Regeneration, Darkest Hour, 'Darkmount, NV', Scattered, Prey, and Rebellion are the S2 finale into S3 multiparters so they also happen one after the other in the timeline. I would give them two days perhaps?

Then finally Chain of Command is followed directly by Plus One.

If we assume that three days passes between every TFP episode with no solid information for the time frame, add one day for each short-timeframe multiparters, and include two months (60 days) for the S1-into-S2 timeskip then (60+1+1+1+1+2+1+24) roughly 91 days passed between Operation: Breakdown and Thirst. That's about a quarter of the year. Oml. What the freak is that timeline oml that's much faster than I've assumed TFP happened. Breakdown was barely alive in TFP as it was but mannnn

Tbh I can't even explain the half of it my timeline was Somethin. HIC kinda... Left?? Like she still had her fleets but for some reason her power was loosened and the drones were all left to their own devices, which gave everyone a lot of wiggle room to do whatever they wanted. Like me! I spoke out against HIC and the caste system, and definitely hid like several mutants in my hive at one point lol

The Signless was more prominent of a religious figure, and that definitely swayed a lot of people's political beliefs. He wasn't perfect, but his teachings were FASCINATING to me as a sheltered clown way back when. There were a few other religions I remember vaguely [like terezi's blind prophets that are referenced briefly & various jade-related subreligions], but Signless and the ancestors were so powerful and gripping to me. each religion had its own ideas of how alternia should be run, but not many of them were really pro any kind of outsider/perceived Other.

Each caste had their own ideas for how to run things in the power collapse that everything just kinda. went crazy. i think they started letting other castes help in every job. There was also a big stigma around hemoanonymity, which persisted for a long time [again, that fear of cultural Others] but might have been??? Fixed???? I dont exactly know ≠:/

In what year do the events of the headverse take place?

Mainly across the 20th and into the 21st Century, tho there's major events in the 30th/31st centuries and the in-universe "narrator" of the setting in the time-traveling Green Lantern Rond Vidar is from that era. That said, there's meant to be characters from across time and space, so there's a whole bit with Krona, Relic, and Volthoom in the ancient past, there's the rise of Vandar Ag into Vandal Savage, various medieval characters, Jonah Hex in the Old West, the original Kirby version of OMAC and Kamandi, the Electric Warriors at the end of the Cosmic Dark Age, all of which start coming together in our contemporary era as The Crisis begins and time starts collapsing in on itself. The whole setting kind of kicks off with Diana and the other Centuries Babies born at the start of 1900 and then a young Diana journeying to Europe to fight in WWI as a teenager, which effects her outlook going into WWII and founding the JSA in an attempt to prevent a lot of things she saw in the previous war.

Thank you so much for working on and sharing the timeline! I hope you don't mind me asking, I was just wondering if everything in that was canon, or is some inferred? For example, the Battle of Denerim happening in Wintermarch :) I picked a later time in the year for that and... may need to change some things lmaoo

a little of both! like for the battle of denerim—we're never told explicitly it happens in wintermarch, but the expansion of origins, awakening, starts in mid justinian and claims it happens six months after the end of the blight, and other sources (WOT, mainly, but i believe some of the codexes might too?) claim the blight ended in 9:31, which leaves wintermarch of 9:31 Dragon as pretty much the only time that would fit with both of those, though you could maaybe squeeze it in very early guardian as well

also i absolutely do not mind being asked, i love talking about this stuff!!

A persona I made after other friends made sonas based on timeline hopping and essentially Zero Escape stuff. Realities don't pertain to one dimension, however. They could be a pokemon trainer in one timeline, or a Driver from Gormott in another, but usually they end up shifting into new timelines right when they're getting their "happy ending" in one, or, well, dying in another.

Once Danny was an adult, he decided to join Ellie in her ‘permanent world tour’. It’s better than staying in Amity where the opinion of Phantom hasn’t gotten much better. Besides, the portal caused the veil to get weaker, allow ghost to wreak havoc where ever they want.

He’s met a lot new ghost cause of this too. Old as Mycenaean Greece to non humans who came to Earth and died there. Danny’s learnt so much from them that he’s basically a walking in Encyclopaedia.

So, Danny’s decided “fuck it.” and has it became a part-time history teacher. It’s fun! He knows the details by heart and is able to make it more fun than just droning on about the same old wars and whatever. He enjoys it, the kids enjoy it and the ghosts having their stories told!

Of course, this does cause some problems when people try to correct him. Danny’s argument? “I got them correct sources.”

And when anyone asks him how knows his sources are correct? “My source was there when it happened.”

Cue the dc world thinking that Danny’s just some immortal guy whose decided to use his immortality for good(TM)
