Tumblr media
Hello friend from the country of maples. I have come asking for headcanons for the pants man because it is almost 4am and he is living in my brain rent free.
Tumblr media
I would like to blame Hamilton the musical because I googled the difference between “My dearest Angelica,” and “My dearest, Angelica” and at first i thought “huh Morax would do this to wifey” and then a little throwaway like from a ZhongChi fanfic made me realize Pantalone would ALSO do this to his beloved and as the musical goes “consumed my waking days”
Oh my god Al Haitham would do this too.
Guess I’m not sleeping
Headcanons for pants? Headcanons for pants?
I love you, also go to bed pls.
Because you didn't specify what kind of headcanons I'm just gonna throw down whatever I got off the top of my head rn that I didn't include in the health headcanons. Also just fyi I flip flop between certain headcanons mostly because there isn't enough info about him at this very moment, so it's kinda like "what flavour of pants do I crave today?"
ANYWAYS pants time
For a while I headcanoned him as like 27-28 at the absolute youngest because the limited information we have about him gave me young hotshot entrepreneur "thirty under 30" vibes.
Like I can so clearly in a modern AU see his face plastered all over magazines about this young man who worked his ass off to go from rags to riches. (I'm thinking about Bruce Wayne in the opening from Arkham City. "It's billionaire, Vicki. Millionaires are so last year.")
He is unrecognizable from his youth counterpart today. He was this scrawny child, hair matted and tangled and perpetually dirty. Always had some bruises and cuts and scrapes, crooked teeth, the works. With all the money in his pocket, he's been able to afford top of the line medical care, dental treatments, expensive luxury soaps and shampoos, and only the finest of clothing. It's astounding but also horrifying to see how different the two are.
It's not necessarily his favourite food but his comfort foods are whatever super cheap fresh hot meals he could get his hands on. He still thinks back to the very first actually expensive meal he bought with his own money every now and again.
He would never admit this, of course. They'd all laugh at him if they found out he enjoyed peasant meals.
On occasion, though, he will remake one of these really cheap meals for a midnight snack.
He's not a bad cook, it's just all the meals he knows how to make are less about flavour and more about practicality/edibility. That said, though, he knows how to make a meal made from like five ingredients not only last for quite a while, but also taste really good.
Sugar daddy material, he would love nothing more than to spoil his darling rotten, HOWEVER he is not interested in someone only dating him for his money. He wants someone who will let him pamper them, but will also be there in the event everything falls apart and he once again has nothing.
Constantly has to remind everyone that the Northland Bank is SEPERATE from the Fatui. He needs everyone to know that the success of the bank is not because of the Fatui, it's because of him. Vice versa, while the bank's success may have gotten the attention of the Fatui, him becoming a harbinger is because he worked his ass off to get that position.
There is no information on his family or if he even has one, but you know how Lucio from The Arcana has that portrait of his mother all dressed up in regal attire, despite the fact he was raised in a tribe? I think Pantalone would have a bunch of portraits of his family all over his manor(s) sort of like that.
If he ever has kids, he would be so torn between spoiling them because he certainly has the money to do that, but he also cannot stand the snobby little brats of his business partners and does not want his children acting like that.
This is just really random but for some reason All Hail the Fishmen from Lisa The Painful gives me pants vibes and I cannot explain why
And... Yeah! That's it rn, unless you wanna hear about my oc/pants' knife wife Xue, or you have specific headcanons in mind.

Buying Gay
How Physique Entrepreneurs Sparked a Movement
David K. Johnson
Columbia University Press
In 1951, a new type of publication appeared on newsstands—the physique magazine produced by and for gay men. For many men growing up in the 1950s and 1960s, these magazines and their images and illustrations of nearly naked men, as well as articles, letters from readers, and advertisements, served as an initiation into gay culture. The publishers behind them were part of a wider world of “physique entrepreneurs”: men as well as women who ran photography studios, mail-order catalogs, pen-pal services, book clubs, and niche advertising for gay audiences. Such businesses have often been seen as peripheral to the gay political movement. In this book, David K. Johnson shows how gay commerce was not a byproduct but rather an important catalyst for the gay rights movement. Offering a vivid look into the lives of physique entrepreneurs and their customers, and presenting a wealth of illustrations, Buying Gay explores the connections—and tensions—between the market and the movement. With circulation rates many times higher than the openly political “homophile” magazines, physique magazines were the largest gay media outlets of their time. This network of producers and consumers helped foster a gay community and upend censorship laws, paving the way for open expression. Physique entrepreneurs were at the center of legal struggles, especially against the U.S. Post Office, including the court victory that allowed full-frontal male nudity and open homoeroticism. Buying Gay reconceives the history of the gay rights movement and shows how consumer culture helped create community and a site for resistance.
Named one of the 20 best LGBTQ reads of 2019.                                Attitude     Named one of 'The best queer(ish) non-fiction tomes we read in 2019'                                                                                                                             Advocate     Named a top ten book by the 2020 Over the Rainbow committee of the American Library Association                               Over the Rainbow committee of the American Library Association

CATCHING MY BREATH, STARING OUT AN OPEN WINDOW
Victoria Hernandez is based on Vicky from The Fairly Odd Parents. She is a 27 year old human, entrepreneur, and uses she/her pronouns. She has no powers. Vicky is portrayed by Maria Pedraza and she is open.
CATCHING MY DEATH, AND I COULDN’T BE SURE
If you were to ask Victoria, there is absolutely nothing wrong with being a boss babe and that is exactly what she's going to be. Sure, she was rude and mean and ruthless but how else were you supposed to get into the 1% and rule the world? From a young age, Vicky was terrorizing every child she babysat while schmoozing all the parents for a higher paycheck and it was worth it. She didn't care if the kids hated her as long as she was building her mini empire. An empire that would continue to grow as she got older. No one could ever say that Vicky didn't have ambition, she was overflowing with it and she didn't care how many people she had to double cross or piss off to get ahead. One day, it would all be worth it. Friends weren't at the top of her list but that didn't mean there weren't days when she realized how lonely she was. Yes, she was mean but she didn't always mean to be. Of course, living in Evermore her whole life minimized her influence; she couldn't exactly take over the world when she couldn't leave the boundaries of her town but that wasn't going to stop her. That's what online stores were for! And she had a lot of them. It wasn't that any of them failed, per se, she simply lost interest when they weren't as lucrative as she wanted them to be. Vicky was an entrepreneur at heart with one goal in mind - money. It didn't matter how many ideas she had to come up with or steal, she was going to make it. Nothing would distract her from having her name on the cover of Forbes magazine...except maybe someone extremely talented and attractive. What? Could you blame her? It wasn't just her little sister who knew how to fangirl, it ran in the family and now that more people were arriving in Evermore, she saw it as an opportunity to sell more of her wares, grow her business and then find the person of her dreams that would change her entire life. Oh and maybe hop onto some of those insane ideas as to how to get out of here and finally take over the world.
I HAD A FEELING SO PECULIAR
❀ Sheila Guox: Vicky cannot deny that Sheila has this incredibly cool vibe that she's, let's be real, incredibly jealous of. She wants to be her friend but can't always help the barbs to try and bring her down ❀ Trevante Powers: She cannot believe that Trevante is here?! Not many people know Powerline by his real name but Vicky is what one would call a super fan and there's no one around as talented as him ❀ Madonna Tremaine: The one and only Lady Tremaine is terrifying but she is the kind of woman Vicky wishes she could be. Money, power, beauty - what more could you want?
THAT THIS PAIN WOULD BE FOR EVERMORE

You Can Create A 6-Figure Business With These 8 Simple Steps.
One of the most important things for entrepreneurs to figure out once they start a business is how to make money. Not just a few hundred every now and then, but a six-figure revenue consistently.
I recently spoke to Jenn Scalia who’s been able to do just that. She’s an online visibility coach and business strategist who helps entrepreneurs get noticed, make an impact and earn a living.
I was able to take away the eight strategies that have helped her and her many clients build a six-figure business:
1. Develop a six-figure mindset and daily success habits
Whether it’s journalism, meditating or waking up at 5 a.m. every morning, you need to find the productivity technique that works best for you and develop habits that will make you feel unstoppable. You must also work on your money mindset and determine what financial success means to you. Decide on a number you’d like as monthly revenue and work backwards to figure out ways you can generate that income.
2. Understand your big-picture vision
Before you start anything, figure out your WHY. Why do I want to launch this venture? How does it drive me? Why is it important to me? Without knowing the true purpose of starting your business, you’ll have no real sense of direction. When the going gets tough, it’ll be easier to quit if you don’t have the big-picture vision in mind. Do you want to change the world, inspire people to action or help end world hunger? Think about the legacy you want to leave from creating your business and let that inspire your every more.
3. Discover your profit potential
Before you go all in with your business, you’ve got to know if people are willing to pay for your products or services and how much they are willing to pay. Is what you offer something people can usually get for free by reading blogs and magazines? Or is this a real problem that people are willing to pay to solve? If a version of your product(s) already exists, think about how you can make yours better. Don’t let what’s already out there intimidate you. Focus on making people’s lives easier with your business.
4. Leverage social influence
Use social media to build a community of loyal fans. Share stories, create infotainment and useful content to attract and engage your audience online. Cultivate the love of people who are already buying or willing to buy for you. You have no reason not to be on social. It’s a free tool that, when done right, can boost your visibility and position you as a leader in your area of expertise.
5. Create content that demonstrates your expertise
To have real influence online, people must know, like and trust you. The best way to do this, is to create content that positions you as the expert and as the obvious choice for them. You can create written, video or audio content that informs, inspires and entertains your audience. Consistent content creation is key to staying top of mind to your potential customers and clients. Whether you have a blog or a newsletter, find a platform to share that information and keep your audience interested.
6. Amplify your voice through collaborations
Growing your audience organically is possible if you’re committed, but real growth happens when you can leverage other people’s audiences. Create joint venture partnerships, host giveaways, contribute to blogs and podcasts, and watch your business grow exponentially. Just be sure to have something valuable to offer when pitching outlets or people with a bigger audience.
7. Think “providing value” instead of “selling”
At the end of the day, sales are what keep your business going. You need money to drive your bottom line. When you run a business, you have to sell. Most people don’t like the idea of being sold to. And you’ve probably felt weird about the idea of selling things to people at some point. But when you can shift your mindset from selling to serving (and actually providing value), getting people to buy your products and services becomes easier. It’s also the next step once you’ve engaged them on social and shared useful content.
8. Give your customers an experience they’ll never forget
Repeat customers, referrals and rave reviews are a sure fire way to keep your business growing. As such, you need to make sure you can turn people into fans. Not just consumers. Go above and beyond to make their experience at your store or of your product one they’ll never forget. Whether it be through in-store events, one-on-one follow-up calls or sessions, give them something to write about. Make sure your product delivers on its promise as well. People will want to buy everything you put out, they will refer you to their friends and will leave glowing testimonials and reviews on your site.
From mindset to joint venture partnerships, these eight simple steps will help you skyrocket your business. Even if you apply just one or two of these, you’ll have an advantage over your competitors.

Best Business Magazines for Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners
In order to be successful in the business world, you need to have many different skills. There is a lot of competition out there and it's tough, but those who can do nearly anything well are the ones who will come out strong.
You'll need to be pleasant and sociable with your coworkers and clients, knowledgeable enough that you can do the work required of you, up-to-date with technology so you can continue learning over your career, and steadfast enough not to give up when things get hard.
The little-known truth is that for a business to be successful, it doesn't necessarily need to be great at math or management. It's best to read as much as possible not just in the company's work, but in other areas of literature as well. A lot of top CEOs read hundreds of books each year.
There are tons of task that await you every day and researching the latest developments within your industry is one of them. The most successful business people know this and they make use of publications that go out monthly or weekly to stay up-to-date. Although the internet is an amazing source of information and connection, it's not going to replace a great magazine anytime soon. Find out some of the best business magazines to grab today.
