Okay, I know the English internet spends a lot of time staring and ongoing political disasters in the US and the UK and oh what disasters they are, but CANADA 🇨🇦 WE GOTTA FOCUS FOR A MINUTE.

Ontario has municipal elections THIS MONDAY OCTOBER 24th! And you need to show up and vote!

Just like all our regular provincial and federal elections, it is okay if you aren't sure if you are on the voters rolls or if you info got updated after you moved or whatever - YOU CAN DEFINITELY VOTE AS LONG AS YOU ARE A CANADIAN LIVING IN THAT SPOT. You just bring proof of your address to the polling place and you'll be fine, I promise. I've done it. It takes like 2 minutes to sign the paper declaring you do indeed live there.

Now you may be asking "but do these elections really matter?" And the answer is YES THEY MATTER SO MUCH. There are racists and xenophobes and transphones and sexist and antisemitic and antivax people running all over the place and the one thing we know by now is that bigots get organized to get to the polls so we have to also organize to counter them by voting!

There are probably 3 things you need to look up who to vote for in your area: mayor, councillor, and school board trustee. All three matter! Please don't only focus on mayor, if the terfs get onto the school boards, they'll do serious damage.

So what can you do?

- First, search "[your town] election" and you'll get the link to the official election page on your city website. It'll tell you the poll hours for THIS MONDAY OCTOBER 24th and you'll be able to find your polling place and a sample ballot showing all the people running for all the roles (mayor, councillor, school board) in your district.

- Check out the candidates! If you want to narrow it down, for major things like mayor you can see which 3 or 4 people have a realistic shot of getting more than 10% of the vote based on polls and then look at the platforms for just those people. For more niche things like school board, you probably need to look at every candidate but less will be running. Please check the CBC article I linked above to narrow down the obvious terfs.

- Make a plan of when you are going to vote! Know what time is best for you to go and how you will get there.

- Get your friends and family to plan to vote too! Help them out by sharing your research and let them know who you are voting for for each part. Sometimes the idea of doing the research into candidates is too daunting, but if you share your plan with them, you can get more people to the polls.

- IF YOU AREN'T IN ONTARIO: Reach out to your friends and family here and ask what their plan to vote is. Help them out with the above if you can.

So much stuff gets decided at the municipal level, but they are expecting record low turnout and low turnout is dangerous for shitty people getting into positions that matter. We are already stuck with a clown at the province level. We need to make sure people who will work against him get elected at your local level.

It's one day, probably 45 minutes of your time including travel both ways and any line at busy times. Honestly, voting usually takes me 7 minutes at most at the polls even whe I was a student and voting in weird ways. They make it so easy if you just show up.

You were going to cross Canada off your travel list the minute you got home.

The crime scene was located at the base of one of the most popular mountains in the country. A total tourist nightmare located in a rather small town. Luckily for the team, the heavy snow plaguing the week prevented too many people from visiting the attraction. Unluckily for you guys, the thick snow also meant that no vehicles were able to travel on the small road, all due to the risk of getting stuck or breaking down and blocking the already complex road.

The team, along with a couple local police officers, had been walking for no more than ten minutes. But your lack of winter boots mixed with the harsh wind threatening to blow off your ears made it seem like you had been walking for hours.

That, and combined with your slightly weak stamina, left you trailing behind the rest of the team.

Having to lift your heavy legs with more strength than you currently possessed and having to fight against a million tiny snowflakes, you were beginning to sway and stumble. You brought your hands up to your mouth, huffing a long breath of warm air onto your frozen fingers.

“Cold?”

You perked up at the voice, rolling your eyes at aaron’s teasing expression.

“Absolutely freezing,” you answered. He looked down at his feet and chuckled at your response, but his smile slowly began to fade at the sight of your chattering teeth and shaking arms.

You silently cursed at having only brought your thin, pocketless jacket, as your only option to being somewhat warm was to pull the sleeves down as far as it could go to cover your hands.

So concentrated with your doomed task, you failed to noticed that aaron, who had been in front of the group at the beginning of the hike, had slowed down and was now in the back of the pack, with you.

“Here.”

You didn’t have time to register his words. Or rather, the cold had an effect on your reaction time. But it didn’t matter— all that mattered, and all that you felt, was his warm hand reaching down to grab yours, promptly stuffing your interwined hands into his coat’s pocket. You gasped lightly, both at the sudden action and at the immediate relief you felt in your half-frozen hand.

“aaron…” you whispered. You pointed your chin at the rest of the team walking in front, giving him a look of wariness as you tried to pull your hand back. In response, aaron simply pulled your entire body closer by tugging on your captured arm, his large palm further encapsulating your hand as he rubbed gentle circles with his thumb.

“It’s alright,” he hushed.

You huffed, “They’re going to see-“

“It’s alright.”

He looked down at you with raised brows, eyes soft and smile wide. You sighed as you shook your head, happily accepting your fate. You couldn’t help but smile at the sight of his red nose and ears, and at the absurdity of this whole situation.

For a brief moment, you and aaron weren’t walking towards a gruesome crime scene. You weren’t coworkers with a strict fraternization policy, and you weren’t secretly holding hands to avoid unwanted scrutiny. You two weren’t anything important, anything or anyone important at all.

You were just two people taking a scroll, hearts filled, hands warm, and cloudy breaths mingling together under the falling snow.

•Bb end of year charts were released and Jimin is Bb history maker:

An album that he wanted to give us for free achieved all this. Things feel different when they come from the heart.

•Spotify wrapped...wrapped up too and showed us that Jimin is still a fan favorite. How many of us had our top artists as Jimin and some of the following: BTS, Kodak Black, NLE Choppa, Taeyang, or Jvke? Who would have thought?!

We also found out that:
