A bit of a hobby day today. Spent about 7 hrs hunched over this think to realize I bought the wrong rear axles and rear shock mounts. Oh well. Still installed front axles, front shock mount, Body brace, and trans mount. I really should invest in a better race chassis.

Traxxas Ford RAPTOR Body And Design

The New RC car Traxxas Ford Raptor 2WD is crazy when it comes to design because they literally added every single detail from the real Ford Raptor.

What I love most about this car is the WHEELS, because they are super powerful and amazing when it comes to Off-road. The suspension is super flexible especially if you shoot a video in slow-motion and see the crazy movements that make the car fixed on the road.

Traxxas Ford Raptor Parts

The Engine

As you know and like any other car, the RC car Traxxas Ford Raptor 2WD comes with an electric powerful 12-Turn engine/motor that can reach +30MpH as a top speed. As well as XL-5 waterproof electronic speed control. (I don’t recommend going into the water despite the waterproof mark for its safety, a little water is okay, not a FLOOD!).

The transmission is Metal Gear Magnum 272™.

The Radio System

Easy and simple to use, if it’s your first time, don’t worry, all you need is less than 30 minutes of practice and here you go!

The New RC car Traxxas Slash Ford Raptor 2WD has a TQ 2.4GHz radio system. All you have on that controller is an accelerator, brake, and a wheel where you can control the steering wheel as well as an ON/OFF button.

Its design is so comfortable and lightweight for your hands even if you play all day.

The charger and the battery

When it comes to charging, The RC car Traxxas Ford Raptor 2WD comes with a 4-amp DC Peak Detecting Fast Charger that uses a 12-Volt DC power outlet for universal high-output charging.

There is a LED indicator that flashes green when the charging is in progress and stops flashing when the charging is complete.

The battery of the RC car Traxxas Ford Raptor 2WD is a Traxxas Power Cell NiMH battery with iD® that is super powerful and lasts for a pretty good time.

Traxxas Ford RAPTOR Cons

The RC car Traxxas Slash Ford Raptor 58094-1 2WD is a great car, I like it. But I still get bothered by some small details.

The LED lights

I was a little disappointed when I saw that the main LEDs of the car aren’t real! Despite having some LEDs on top and bottom, the main LEDs for me are important and can give the car a greater look!

The 2WD

As you know, the RC car Traxxas Slash Ford F-150 Raptor 58094-1 2WD is a 2 Wheel Drive. Despite it is super powerful, sometimes, you like to put more pressure on the vehicle (More pressure = More Fun). So I hoped if I find a great car like this in 4WD (See our review about Traxxas Rustler 4X4 VXL). Don’t worry, it’s super powerful as you saw in the videos above.

The conclusion? Is it worth it?

Hell YES! It is worth it. The power, the design, the excitement, the fun. And the most important: IT’S A Traxxas Slash!
