It was recorded that Arthur and Katherine struggled to understand each other, despite the both of them knowing Latin. While, in Spain, they spoke the Ecclesiastical form of Latin (Veni Vidi Vici as Venee Veedee Veechee), England had nurtured it's own pronunciation of Latin (Veneye Veedye Veyesee). It turns out you don't need to settle on a single form of pronunciation of most communication between the two nations is written.
Catherine of Aragon’s education-Part 1:Languages
I’ll be honest, what I am about to say might be uncomfortable to hear any fan of my favourite Queen(so read up to the very end, so you see what i mean actually). But there so much misinformation about Catherine’s education, it’s turning facts into circus! It’s ridiculous and grotesque!
Yes, Queen Catherine was very educated woman for her time(and even today her education would be very impressive.) She was learned in many subject and she indeed spoke many languages.
Hence indeed she was polyglot-person who speaks multiple languages.
However, even solid research papers often state things incorrectly about her education in languages. Or give wrong impression. Such as that she was was already fluent in certain languages while leaving Spain, when she was not. They cared nothing about skill progression and never dive deep into it.
They also give either too simple account of how many languages she spoke-Spanish, English, Latin. On other hand enthusiastic fans give ridiculously long list of languages she supposedly spoke.
I am almost surprised some fans don’t claim Queen Catherine spoke Chinese and Japanese or 22 languages or so, like Mithridates.
It really got out of hand and neither is correct. 1st list obviously ignores that she spoke French, but that is not only thing it has wrong.

Another traditional print I did a few months ago, an etching to be precise. This specimen's proud owner is the lovely Sir Rylance himself! Even though he sighed looking at it as if he was mourning an old friend. Definitely makes watching the new season more painful 🥲

Dendrochronological analysis of the painted panel (comprised of two Baltic oak boards from two different trees) suggests a likely usage date for the panel between 1539 and circa 1571. The back of the panel displays a merchant or cargo mark, identical to a mark used on a royal portrait of King Edward VI. Infra-red reflectography shows that the sitter’s costume was significantly changed after the initial portrait was completed. Many changes can be seen around the sleeves and it is likely that the white scarf on the shoulders is a later addition. In the sitter’s right arm, bands can be seen encircling the arm under the scarf. This could be part of a wider decorative sleeve, now obscured, or the top of a previous scarf worn draped over the lower arms, similar to outfits worn by Lady Jane Grey in other depictions.

The coif (a linen cap worn over the hair) has also been altered significantly – in scanning, a different shaped coif and potentially a hood (a more decorative head piece worn over the coif) with delicately depicted stitching can be seen framing the face. Although indistinct, it might be possible to suggest the presence of a veil from the hood to the proper left of the head in the background also now painted out. A striking change is visible in the eyes. Currently positioned looking to the sitter’s left, the eyes were previously looking to the sitter’s right looking past the viewer. At some point in the painting’s lifetime, the eyes, mouth and ears were also deliberately scratched out – this is likely an iconoclastic attack (the destroying of images for religious or political reasons) and an image of Lady Jane Grey in the National Portrait Gallery bears the same mark.

1925 Tudor in Stockton, CA needs work, and it already has a pending sale. 3bds, 2ba, 1,964 sq ft, $368k. Why do people ruin nice houses? Take a look.
Come on in. Note that they painted the molding purple.
This is a beautiful Tudor. It's worse than painting it white.
The French doors are orchid.
In the living room, they got the fireplace, too.
There's a nice dining room. Very large.
The everyday dining room. I guess that b/c it's beadboard, it could be painted white.
Now, in the kitchen, these are the original cabinets. You see the color they were, b/c for some reason they didn't do the sides of the end units. The backsplash looks bad, they should've put one that matched better.
Oh, I see- they must've taken the fridge, so they didn't paint those cabinets b/c the fridge was there.
Yes, that's what they did.
Oh, shit, they took the stove, too.
So, there's a 1/2 bath out on the stair landing. They installed a shower out here. They should've taken that with them, too. So, then where was the washer/dryer, b/c the hooks ups are here. Unless they were squeezed in here.
In the bedroom, they painted around the furniture.
One of 2 baths. The tub looks original.
This might be the primary bedroom, b/c it has a double closet.
Nice pergola outside.
Large garage.
The side of the house. Maybe large enough for some chairs and stuff.
Gated driveway on a 7,675 sq ft lot.
