Or at least elaborate a bit on that? (Every side storylines in Will Terribly make me curious and a friend and me have been thinking about this one now. The universe you've set gives one the chance to explore so much, I love it<3)

ah, that ended with the death of the traitor lord! for clarity, that background plotline was the progressive infection of the traitor lord and his followers. i didn't change much about the mantis war (aside from [points at the Gradiance mess]) from what we know of how that started up in canon, bc i tried to keep anything i didn't Have to really screw with alone

his followers were either also dead by infection, recovered and defected back to the village, or probably cut down if they were still feeling coup-y

though i guess there's always a chance of a few rebel vagabonds still roaming about, huh? Hallownest is big
