See I actually did stop reading dc fanfic a wee while ago now bc of this like as a lot of you know I'm not the biggest fan of the popular fanon of Tim and bc that's kinda difficult to filter out I'd end up just filtering out Tim all together but somehow that boy still showed up so best course of action was to stop reading bat centric fanfic all together

thought in this post again bc for my actual otp (not from hetalia), i'm equally interested in both characters, but for heta... it's not like i don't care about other characters, but there's a difference in how much i do (i also think this is why i ended getting more into gerpru bc that's the second fave. this year i had to look for a bunch of fanart of the ship to get more used to it bc my feelings are still ambivalent, now less). the tunnel vision is probably obvious in my fics (and future fics, hopefully)... sigh, that's how it is i guess.

I will unironically ship cross-show host ships. Not just the ones from the smile crossover, things like AirCorn too where they've never met and have no chance of meeting.

People take issue with literally any ship Airy is in within his own show, which to some extent, I get. But I'm not saying I support actual irl relationships like any Airy x contestant ship, I literally ship BatJokes for God's sake. Having a host x host ship is good because usually their crimes are somewhat on level footing (even though most are treated like jokes), WHICH SIDE TANGENT HERE, I hhhhate people who will call me weird for trying to have a discussion about some of the character's immoral actions from less serious shows. Airy hfjONE for kidnapping and manslaughter is treated so much worse than Popcorn for SPREADING INFECTIOUS DISEASES. Just let me suspend disbelief a bit, ok. Yeah, so anyways, I think AirCorn is good bc Airy to some extent doesn't understand the severity of his crimes, whereas Popcorn does and would commit those crimes again.

I'm an avid lover of toxic ships, not an avid supporter.

I'm a sucker for the other host x host dynamics, too, and I just think we're so lucky to have gotten any crossover content we did, canon or not. TwoPhone has been fed?? I no joke started shipping AnimatiClock like three days before sacri uploaded the crossover, and I had no idea.

I'm trying to think of something else worthy of confession here, but I've already confessed a lot in different sessions, and this isn't an NSFW blog.

I still refuse to watch BFDI and affiliated shows, and I will say I find the writing utterly disgusting in the most literal sense. Gross-out humor is for children, but so is most of the stuff JnJ makes. I just think they could respect their audience's intelligence more. Even kids want well written humor in some ways, and I personally think object shows would do best as 'all ages' media that respect their audience. But JnJ makes so much money that I don't think it matters to them. Side note, I watched a livestream of theirs recently, and they seemed very tired. I could be reading into it, but seeing your audience is only children and that they've been doing this for over a decade, I wouldn't be surprised if they quit sometime soon and leave TPOT etc to be produced without them. I don't know if they have already or if they've talked about it, I don't plan to watch anything else from them, save for the specials with algebraliens in them. Needless to say, I won't keep track of it, and the only reason I'm not an outright JnJ hater is because of how close they work with AnimationEpic and the xfohv content. Other than that, grr.

Thinking about this one Harry Potter and Percy Jackson crossover I read on wattpad when I was probably 13 where the pjo gang had to go on a quest to Hogwarts bc Nyx was waking up or something and Hermione was a child of Athena and Harry was a bit of a dick and PIPER FUCKING DIED ???????

Piper, Leo, ans Jason had to go down and do smth to defeat Nyx and one of them had to stay behind and it was Piper AND SHE FUCKING DIED it was like 40 some odd chapters of me getting super invested in these characters all over again on this weird but still fun adventure of the pjo kids really out of their element and although I didn’t like Harry’s character in it bc he’s my favorite and they made him mean IT WORKED and it was GREAT and then at like 10pm on a school night I WAS HIT WITH THAT UNTAGGED MAJOR CHARACTER DEATH THAT ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED ME

I completely forgot to answer this bc my blog is a running stream of untagged consciousness and I'm primarily a mobile user lol

(And maybe this answer will be a running stream of consciousness too lol)

The fic started when I couldn't find a bnha / dp crossover but saw a ton of bnha crossver art and became desperate enough to open a word doc. The first few ch was just trying to get Danny into UA with the plan to cover a few manga arcs and dip out.

But then I realized after writing 7-8 ch that the Danny and Eri parallels were too strong and then focused my energy into making Danny and Eri meet. AND Aizawa being the dad for this isekaied child, who did not confide his fear of being ripped apart molecule by molecule until he saw it happen to someone else (ch 18 iirc). Just... danny confessing his fears of living in his own house to an absolute outsider??? Danny would only confess that kind of fear to someone he gradually opened up to over time.

(Id love to make a Living Nightmare AU where Chisaki DOES capture and rip danny molecule by molecule but i don't have enough ideas for this yet)

And Aizawa is powerless to help danny escape that situation, other than preparing him how to make it go right and what to do if it goes wrong. Angst fuel. Dadzawa sensei for life.

I grossly underestimated how long that fic would take to write, by over a year lmao. If i could do it over again id probably plan it better (i completely forgot about the age of high school students in japan vs america, and glossed over the language barrier by explaining it in ch 20, would have made chisaki and nighteye more involved etc) but ch 28 was an unexpected gem from all the experience i got writing that fic.

Ch 28 and ch 18 tie for my fave in the entire fic. Ch 18 being the reason for existence, ch 28 being a (spiritual?) follow up

Funny story i rewrote ch 28 about 3 times and finalized it after finishing the ending lmao

(Im trying to jiggle around one shots where maybe sam/tucker/jazz visit UA and/or one of the students visits the GZ but I'm fresh out of ideas for this AU atm and trying to participate in phic phight too)
