Tumblr media
Chat Noir/Adrien Agreste x GN!reader
"It's just– I've noticed that almost everyone in the Agreste family can fight, I find that strange. Do they all take classes or something?"
Chat cracked a smile and chuckled, his partner in crime never failed to make him laugh.
"I don't know, maybe you should ask him."
The advice had been a joke, that's all it was. He knew—or at least he thought—that Coccinelle couldn't actually ask him.
So when you—someone who is supposed to be a regular person with no superpowers or connections to Coccinelle— asks him the same question his red suited friend asked, he starts wondering if there was a possibility that you could really be his other half.
A universe in which you are the holder of the Ladybug miraculous and you go by Coccinelle.
Tumblr media
One question.
It had been one single question, a strange one at that, but a question nonetheless.
Adrien had been in the library studying with you. The sun peeking through the window and lighting up your figure. Your teeth chewed at your bottom lip, your hands fidgeting with your pencil. You was lost in thought, like you really wanted to say something, but the words were caught between your lips.
Your eyes would occasionally peer over at Adrien when you thought he wasn't looking, then find their way back to the book you clearly weren't reading.
Adrien didn't say a word, not wanting to pressure you. If you wanted to say something, you'd say it. So instead, Adrien wrote down some notes, trying to write it in a way that would make it easy for you to copy later (you'd need them if you spent the rest of the study session staring at him). After a brief moment of silence, you finally broke.
      "Hey, Adrien? Quick question."
His eyes lifted off the page to look at yours. He offered you a sweet smile and nodded his head, encouraging you to continue.
You smiled bashfully before that one question spilled from your mouth, "I know you take fencing but, can you...uh…fight?"
Adrien's smile faltered slightly and his eyes widened. A huge wave of deja vu hit him like a truck, and before he knew it, he wasn't staring at you anymore.
     That question…
     No...it couldn't be…
His mind faltered back to a few days ago when his cousin Felix had visited. He had caused quite a problem by imitating Adrien. It had resulted in a few of his friends getting akumatized.
There they were, on the roof of a Parisian building. Chat Noir was back to back with his partner, Coccinelle. Princess Fragrance, Reflecta, and Lady WiFi surrounded them. Felix, dressed in Adrien's signature clothing, was sitting not too far away from the heroic duo, observing the situation.
After a few moments of silence, Felix flipped off of a wall and kicked Lady WiFi's tablet out of her grasp, landing perfectly while the tablet landed in his hand. It had been no surprise to Chat, he knew full well what Felix was capable of. His cousin had always been interested in learning self defense, and had pulled many stunts like this effortlessly in the past.
What had surprised him was Coccinelle's low whistle with a question that followed, "Do you think Adrien can fight like that?"
Chat raised a brow at them, wondering why that thought had come to mind.
Coccinelle's smile quickly became bashful at the realization that someone had heard them, "It's just– I've noticed that almost everyone in the Agreste family can fight, I find that strange. Do they all take classes or something?" They tilted their head slightly.
Chat cracked a smile and chuckled, his partner in crime never failed to make him laugh.
They weren't exactly wrong though, a lot of members in his family could put up a good fight.
But of course, Chat Noir couldn't tell them that to ease their curiosity. To Coccinelle, Chat Noir has nothing to do with the Agrestes.
So instead, he simply shrugged and have them a cheshire grin,
"I don't know, maybe you should ask him."
The advice had been a joke, that's all it was. He knew—or at least he thought—that Coccinelle couldn't actually ask him. He always thought they were some random civilian that he had never met before. Paris was a huge city after all, they could've been anyone.
With this in mind, of course your strange question with strange timing could be some major coincidence.
If he hadn't known better, he'd assume you were just trying to start a conversation.
If this was a stand alone event, he'd think nothing of it.
But Adrien did know better, and this wasn't the first time he's had his suspicions.
Ignoring the fact that You and Coccinelle shared many physical qualities, the two often reminded him of each other.
When Coccinelle talked about their passions, they reminded him of you. The way your eyes lit up, your hand gestures, facial expressions— they felt so similar.
But his brain had dismissed it.
You weren't the only person in the world who would get expressive when talking about something they loved. It was a coincidence.
Then there was that time where Adrien was watching you sketch in your notebook during class. You seemed to be struggling with whatever you were sketching. Your eyes narrowed at the drawing, as if challenging the art to argue with you. Your nose scrunched up as your lips formed a tight frown. Determination burned within your eyes, nearly burning holes into your paper.
Adrien had to double take because a part of his brain had thought Coccinelle was sitting in that school desk. They often did that too when trying to find a solution to the akuma. Chat had found it adorable, staring at them with admiration knowing that whenever Coccinelle had that look, a storm was brewing.
Adrien found himself thinking the same thing at that moment when he saw you. He would've looked into it more, but many people scrunch their noses up in frustration. Heck, he's seen Nino do it as well. It wasn't anything to look into, just a coincidence.
     Just a coincidence.
He found himself thinking that a lot when it came to you and Coccinelle, more than he should.
    You two smiled the same?
    Just a coincidence.
You both had the same laugh?
    Just a coincidence.
Have the same interests, personality traits, goals, reactions to memes, witty remarks, and voices?

     Just a coincidence.
His brain would reject any thought that tried to link the two together, chanting the word coincidence over and over until he finally dismissed the idea of you and Coccinelle being one in the same.
Instead, he'd be reminded of the differences you shared, like how Coccinelle was braver but you were funnier.
However, as time passed, he found himself drawing to a blank when it came to spotting the difference between you two.
It couldn't be possible, could it?
     "Adrien?"
Adrien snapped out of his daze and realized he had been staring at you, who was now nervously sweating for reasons Adrien was unsure of.
"You ok?" You asked hesitantly, offering a shy chuckle. Adrien stayed silent before turning back to his book. He couldn't look at you or else he'd find himself trying to picture you with a red and black polka-dot mask on.
"I'm fine." He mumbled, "And yeah, I can fight." He heard you whisper "I knew it" under your breath before you both went back to studying .
After that, the library was filled with silence, the only sound being the chirp of pages turning.

pairing : charles leclerc x fem reader
summary : inspired by 'monte carlo' staring selena gomez. a tale of two sisters, one announced as heiress and one just a backup incase something bad happened.
warning(s) : french-google translated

next : part two
masterlist
author's note : hi all. i know i have a lot of explaining to do but, what i can say is that, i am sorry. i cannot go on with the 'corpse bride timothée chalamet au', because i felt out of interest for him (same goes with my past relationships, a bit personal sorry). recently i posted a formula one driver imagine and it was the bomb and i found that it has piqued a lot of people than what i posted before the imagine. i am sorry once again but i have no longer interest in writing about timothée chalamet anymore and right after i posted all ten parts of 'the parent trap', there will be no second season or whatever you called after a second part of a whole series. so yea, i hope this one also pique your interest and liking and as always, enjoy.

a sun rises as a sign that the next day has come by and a new day has started. a social work course university student, y/n thomas, brisk-walked through her way to her faculty building placed in university of sydney as she was late for her 8-am class. "i'm late, i'm late, i'm late." was all muttered from her mouth as she walked through a sea of people here and there.
"this is all grace's fault for taking me to that stupid party." y/n mumbled, and as she almost reached her class, she almost slipped off to the floor while grabbing the door handle. a hand, not hers, grabbed her by her waist, stablized her back to her feet. "woah there, steady." an almost-french male voice was heard. y/n looked up and it was one of her classmates. it felt like a korean drama moment but both y/n and the guy snapped out of it once they realized where they're at. "uh, sorry and thanks." y/n said and she opened the door, entered the class hall, trying not to disturb the ongoing class.
"as you all are fully aware, next year will be your field education 1. be sure you are ready in preparing whichever places you picked and make sure that you have contacted your advisor regarding the locations you've picked whether it is suitable or not." the professor, dr. aikenmann explained and after that, the class continues on.
-
there was a knock on a huge bedroom door by one of the helpers. "mademoiselle, c'est déjà le matin. (miss, it is the morning already.)" said the helper. "attends une minute. (wait a minute.)" a young woman answered as she was half-fully awake, patting on her fluffy cover blanket, searching for her beloved cat, samuel. as she felt the fur body of a cat, she smiled while her eyes were still shut. "te voilà. (there you are.)" she mumbled.
"good morning mother, father."
"good morning my sweetheart." mother replied as she was sipping her tea. mother wasn't her real mother, it was a step-mother. marie auclair-thomas, heiress herself to her father's company, being one of the most stock-share holder from the company itself. despite that, after the marriage with beau thomas himself, two of three beau's children left nice, french. but not amélie colette thomas, she was announced as a heiress and it was her duty to stay in nice for the sake of company's stock holders.
it has been five years since then.
"morning buttercup." father replied as he was scrolling his tablet, probably reading news or look into this morning stocks condition. "remember, you have to come with me to paris later on." father said as he set his glasses on the dining table, on top of the tablet. "is it about that racing thing? can i pass?" amélie asked as she took a bit from her toast. "no you cannot sweetie. you have a reputation and people need to see the heiress in the company." father explained. "what am i? paris hilton?" amélie replied smugly. "oh sweetheart, our company is one of the teams sponsor, of course you need to go and show your face at the race. even paris hilton went to the race and met her drivers. what was it honey?" mother explained as she looked at father's way. "mclaren i believe." father added and amélie, being herself, a snobby little brat, sighed heavily. "okay, okay." amélie said. "i'll go to your stupid race." amélie added.
-
"hey, y/n right?" a male's voice was heard as y/n turned around and saw the earlier guy that caught in a moment with her as well. "urm yea." confused, y/n stopped her walking and fully turned her body. "i was just wondering, if you would like to meet up with the advisor together because i realized that we do have the same advisor." the guy said and realization hit on y/n.
"oh yea, and you are?"
"robert."
as they walked their way to the their academic advisor's office regarding the field education, they saw their advisor, professor dans, talking to some other students. "professor dans." robert said as they approached the professor and the students. the students dismissed. "oh hi robert, y/n, here to talk about your field education?" professor dans asked as her hand was on the door handle. "yes professor dans, we would like to ask for your suggestions as well." y/n added as robert nodded at her. professor dans smiled as she opened up her room office, entering and turning on the lights and air condition while saying, "please come in."
both robert and y/n entered the room office and professor dans made a gesture to ask them to take a seat each at the sofa that was placed in the room office while professor dans take a seat at the single seated sofa. "so what do you have in mind?" professor dans asked. "uh.." robert started. "i was thinking to do it at my home country, doing some volunteering works there." robert stated as professor dans nodded her head yes. "i see, interesting. it does have volunteering center there yes?" professor dans asked. "because if you just doing a volunteering job with having an office then your field education will be 'not complete', you need to find an office that does the job because you're still a student, not a volunteer worker." professor dans reasoned. she's good, no wonder they called her professor dansgon as in dragon. she looks all sweet on the outside but in reality, her words are kinda harsh but sometimes can bring down someone's self-esteem.
"how about you y/n, have you thought of yours? if not, please don't waste my time." ouch, professor dans said. her true colors are truly showing up.
"actually, i would like to do in unicef if it is possible?" y/n replied unsurely as professor dans just stared at her. then she just sighed. "look children, doing volunteer job is good because that is what your major is but don't forget, doing your field education while volunteering requires a lot of paperworks, you might have no time because doing volunteer job means most of your time totally focused on the jobs. you won't have enough time for your paperworks and never forget, you have to make a presentation once your field education ends. have you two even thinking about all of these?" professor dans snapped. y/n just biting hard on her bottom lip, an old, bad habit of hers while robert just looked down. professor dans continued on looking at them.
"listen, i give you two to rethink over this matter and come back to finalize on your field education. remember, as important in helping people, you need to know where your ground is as a student." professor dans said, and then dismissed.
"WHAT A BITCH!" grace's voice rose up as their surroundings were looking at them. y/n stared at grace with bored in her eyes as she knew how grace's reaction when came things like this. "who does she thinks she is?" grace continued. "a professor and an advisor and also an educator, no doubt she would say things like that grace." y/n explained. grace sighed. "but still, don't need to be so bitchy about it." grace defended, being a good friend which y/n being thankful for, sometimes grace don't know when to know how to limit her supportive self.
to y/n, it is common for an educator like professor dans being like that. because she (professor dans) knows what will happen if just solely doing what she (y/n) planned before. right now, she just wants sleep away the thought of wanting to kill professor dans for being her dragon self.
y/n sighed as she sloped her head on the dining hall table, groaning. grace looked at her best friend as she sipping on her milk tea. "you know, you could ask your sister about this." grace mentioned. y/n snapped her head at grace. her eyed were as if she could shallow grace alive right now, without a doubt. "i mean, that dragon did mention on how you need to apply from a company and duhh, your dad's company held a charity event for some children' helping solidarity whatever right?" grace said. y/n sighed once again. "i guess, i'll ask her later on." y/n said.

"welcome along to the france grand prix, which could be the last french grand prix." an announcer announced as the screen of the circuit shown. "it is round 12, as we headed to part two to this formula 1 season in 2022 as we take place over 53 laps." the announcer continues as the graphic of a circuit shown where the race took place in.
amélia who stood in the ferrari hospitality, fanning herself as the heat from outside haven't left from her yet. "ugh, can't this thing get over with?" amélia grumbled to herself as she stood and watched her father's back alongside with ferrari's team principal fred. beau turned around to see amélia awkwardly stood there while fanning herself. "fred, this is my daughter, amélia. sweetheart, this is fred, ferrari's very own team principal." beau introduced as fred laughed to himself, humoured by beau's introduction. "pleasure to meet you fred." amélia said plainly. fred who understood, just smiled, knowing that not all can accept this kind of sport. "pleasures all mine madamoiselle, what a beautiful daughter came from a beautiful father aye?" fred said as he nudged beau's arm as beau just chuckled.
"ah charles." fred called as a guy in red suit walked by while sipping on his long strawed-bottle. the guy named charles walked over to fred. "i want you to meet amélia thomas, daughter of beau thomas." fred introduced as charles looked over to a girl who looked kinda annoyed by being here. "miss." charles said as he nodded his head. amélia, just nodded her head back, making things more awkward. "ah charles, pleasure to meet the driver that will bring victory to this team." beau said as he pat on charles' back, making charles chuckled to himself. "that is fluttering comibg from you sir. thank you." charles said while beau pat charles' back. "i need to go now, i'll see you later on mr thomas." charles said and off he goes to the ferrari's garage.
"let's go amé, the race is about to start." beau said while amélia walked towards the paddock, amélia's phone went off, signalling a notification.
hey ames, i was wondering if father's company still accepting field education student? - y/n sis

Cleaned up version of the selfship sketch of tighnari and i that i shared before! The original sketch had a lot of issues and was a bit rushed at the end because of tablet issues but this version is way more satisfying for me. Next time you see another version of this it will be the color version. And since i work in a more painterly style a lot of the missing details on tighnari’s outfit will be added in the color then.
I’m just really happy with this and i hope it conveys the softness that i think would be there between tighnari and i. He’s letting me nap cuddled up with his tail because he knows i sleep better while holding something.
In the genshin universe i imagine I’m originally from mondstadt thus my vision holder and my outfit being a bit influenced by a certain bard.

Full Exposure [REMIX]
Tumblr media
remixed from Full Exposure by @ladyofthenoodle for the @mlsquaredance event! A huge thank you for organizing it. It has been such a blast and such a boost to my creativity this past month.
Tumblr media
beta'd by @ccboomer and @sunshinemarauder
Marinette snaps her laptop closed and groans into Alya’s pillow. She is so tired of looking at empty bank accounts and red spreadsheets. “How am I supposed to afford anything at this rate?” she whines.
“Out of noodle-dollars already?” Alya asks without looking up from her tablet.
Marinette rolls over to stare at the ceiling. “It’s impossible to be a student full-time, have a full-time unpaid internship, and work enough hours to buy food and pay rent and every other little thing that comes along, while also being a full-time superhero!” Marinette ticks each list item off on her hand as she talks. “I can’t keep taking out loans or putting it on a credit card.”
“The system’s broken,” Alya agrees nonchalantly. “You could always sell nudes.”
Marinette squeals in a combination of horror and disgust and throws a pillow at Alya.
Alya takes the soft blow with the smallest of grunts. “There’s nothing wrong with it! A lot of people make a lot of money that way.”
“I’m not interested in gross comments, people photoshopping my body, or having my image fed into A.I. generators.”
Alya shrugs. “Fair.”
Marinette scrunches up her nose. “How much money?”
“A few thousand, easily.” Alya adds a note into her journalism reading, then sets her tablet and stylus aside. “You could probably make a good deal.”
Marinette rolls her eyes. “No one is going to pay a thousand dollars for my nudes.”
“They might for Ladybug’s though.”
Marinette reaches for Alya’s second pillow and throws it. This time, Alya catches it.
“Ladybug is a national icon! She can’t just post nudes!”
“Ladybug is a full-grown adult woman who doesn’t get paid by the city. She can do whatever she likes with her image.”
Marinette shakes her head as she sits up. She leans back against Alya’s wall and stares out the window. Ladybug is a hero of Paris. She has a reputation. Besides, what would Chat Noir think? He’d see them, surely. How many pussy jokes could she bear?
Marinette taps her fingers against her closed laptop. “What if they were… tasteful nudes?”
“Boudoir photography is very in,” Alya says. “You’d just have to make sure people know they’re paying for almost-nudes.”
“I wouldn’t even know where to start. I’d need you to be my photographer.”
“Girl, I’m happy to help you, but you already know someone who actually does model photography.”
Marinette squeals again and reaches for a pillow, only to find herself out of ammunition. “I can’t ask Adrien to take Ladybug’s nudes!”
“He’s your boyfriend.”
“He’s Marinette’s boyfriend!”
Alya shrugs, as if this is irrelevant, when in fact it is the most relevant that any fact could possibly be to this conversation. Yes, Adrien has turned to directing photoshoots rather than modeling in photoshoots now that they’re in university, but Marinette is not going to ask her boyfriend to take nudes of another girl! And Ladybug is, as far as Adrien knows, another girl.
“You know he’s going to look at them either way,” Alya says. “You might as well make him part of it so he doesn’t have to feel guilty about it.”
“Adrien would not look at Ladybug’s nudes. Not when he’s my boyfriend!”
Alya raises her eyebrows. “He’s loyal, not dead. You remember how he talked about Ladybug when were in school together. He won’t be able to resist.”
Marinette does not remember the way Adrien talked about Ladybug when they were younger. She was too busy daydreaming about him or trying to talk without tripping over her words.
“Adrien used to like Ladybug?” she asks weakly.
“The way a fish likes water.” Alya tips her chair back and, with a mischievous grin that’s rather fitting for the holder of the miraculous of illusion and trickery, says, “Just ask. See what he says.”
✦✧✦✧
Adrien is still not entirely sure that this is a good idea.
He’s flattered, honestly, that Alya, as the admin for the Ladyblog, recommended him to Ladybug as a photographer. He’s surprised and grateful that Marinette assured him that it would be fine for him to do such a risqué photoshoot with such a well-known celebrity. And he’s nervous, more nervous than he has ever been about anything in his life.
Chloé has agreed to give him access to one of Le Grand Paris’s suites for the day, though he hasn’t told her why he needs it—not that he thinks he can fully keep it secret from her. She’ll figure it out once the photos are released.
Zoé helped him haul up his lighting equipment. He didn’t tell her why he needed the room, either, but he imagines she’ll be one of the first people to download the photos once they’re online.
Adrien finishes tightening the C-stand beside the bed. He’ll adjust the lighting once Ladybug arrives, but he wants the grunt work done before she gets there. The last thing he needs is Ladybug standing around in her underwear while he tries to work with heavy equipment.
Adrien rubs his eyes and tries not to picture Ladybug in lacy underwear, though it’s as absurd as it is futile. She’ll be here any minute and he’ll have to photograph her while she’s actually, physically in front of him and is actually, physically wearing lacy underwear.
A knock on the balcony doors breaks through Adrien’s internal battlefield. His heart, which is already nesting in his throat, decides it’s time to run a marathon just at the sound of her arrival. He’s worried it might fully burst before he even lays eyes on Ladybug.
He swallows and reminds himself that he has a girlfriend. That he is going to see Marinette tonight, once this is over. He’ll have to laugh and tell her how absolutely innocent it was when it’s all said and done. Because it has to be innocent. It has to be.
Adrien slides open the balcony door and is relieved to see that Ladybug is still fully clothed in her usual suit. The only thing that makes her appearance on the balcony any different from an evening on patrol is the duffel bag in her hand, like she’s come for a sleepover.
“Hi,” she says.
“Hi,” he replies, and hopes she doesn’t notice how breathless he is.
Adrien isn’t sure if the pause between them feels long because adrenaline has his brain running double-time, or if the silence between them really does stretch out interminably.
“I’m just about ready,” he finally says, “whenever you are.”
“Right! I just need to um… change.”
“Right.”
This time, he’s certain that the pause is too long, but Ladybug finally slips past him and into the bathroom.
When she’s gone, Adrien scrubs his face with his hands. His palms come away sticky with sweat. He is supposed to be the professional. If any of his photographers behaved like this while he was a model, he would never have worked with them again. He can’t let Ladybug think he’s some sort of creep.
The bathroom door opens and Adrien’s heart, again, races, but she doesn’t come out in her underwear, not yet.
Instead, Ladybug is wearing a thin, silky black robe. They discussed a color palette—one of the hardest conversations Adrien has ever had to keep a straight face for—and settled on blacks and reds, which not only keep with Ladybug’s theme, but are sensual enough on their own.
Her hair is pulled up in a bun and her mask covers her eyes—or rather, a replica of her mask. Even the earrings in her ears have to be a copy, at least for the moment. Adrien, knowing how his ring camouflages itself, asked her if her earrings bore her iconic spots when she was not transformed. If she was surprised he knew to ask, she didn’t show it. She simply confirmed that he was right, and she would have to wear a copy if they wanted to maintain the traditional icons of Ladybug.
He can tell that she’s taken his advice about makeup, too. The low dip in her bathrobe reveals perfectly smooth, pale skin. She’s covered up any blemishes and freckles, something he suggested not only because of his own experience in modeling, but because anyone who knows her, like a partner, might recognize such marks.
She blushed and said that her boyfriend didn’t know that she was Ladybug, so that was probably smart.
“I can also clean it up in post,” Adrien told her. Then, he dared to ask, “Does he know you’re doing this? Not that he has to—it’s your choice—I just… if you’re nervous about him finding out, that sounds… bad?”
Ladybug wrinkled her nose and stared down at their notes. “He sort of knows?”
But Ladybug’s relationship isn’t really Adrien’s business.
“Where to first?” She fidgets with the tie around her waist.
“I’ve set up over here.”
Adrien leads Ladybug to the bed, where he’d already pulled back the hotel bedspread and laid out a black silk sheet to cover the stark white hotel bedding.
Ladybug’s fingers slips into the knot around her waist. Adrien picks up his camera and busies himself with the settings, intentionally missing the moment she slides out of her bathrobe and onto the bed.
“I’m just going to check the lighting,” he says, and lifts his camera.
It’s easier to stare at her through the lens.
She’s not only taken her bathrobe off, but she’s pulled her hair down. Her dark hair falls along the curve of her neck and brushes over her shoulders. Adrien follows those curves down to the black cups edged in red lace that cover her pale breasts, though he catches the tiniest sliver of pink peeking out from behind the lace. Black straps fasten her bra to the high-waisted underwear that, while it covers her stomach, curves high over her hips, leaving her legs long and exposed. Her bare feet are decorated in bright red nail polish. Something about that nail polish nags at his brain—didn’t Marinette paint her toes last night?
But the shutter on his camera clicks and he forgets to finish his thought. It takes all his mental fortitude to look at the photo professionally and academically. The shadows on her skin are too harsh; her hair blends in with the black silk; one of the straps of her bra is twisted.
Adrien adjusts the bounce of the light around the room, softens it with a flag, switches the bedding from black to red, and asks Ladybug to fix her bra strap.
“And then the robe back on,” he says, “but open.” It takes all his effort to keep his voice steady and even.
He checks his settings again, adjusts his camera, and finally, they can begin to shoot in earnest.
Once he gets going, it’s fairly easy to maintain his professionalism. There isn’t a whole lot of sensuality when it comes to adjusting angles, clicking the shutter, checking the shot, adjusting the pose—it really does feel like work. But Adrien would appreciate it if his heart would stop jerking in sudden bursts whenever Ladybug turns her brilliant blue eyes to the camera, or when he has to set the camera down to direct Ladybug into a new pose.
She, at least, behaves like a professional.
“New pose?” Adrien asks, and Ladybug readily shifts so that one arm drapes lazily above her head. Her face tilts up so that her neck slopes in a soft arch into her shoulder, and one knee cocks, suggesting a subtle invitation.
Adrien very gently touches her elbow, and she moves her arm at his direction. “Have you done this before?”
“No!” she says quickly, then swallows. Her bright red lips open and close as she looks for the right words. “I mean—I just did a lot of research beforehand.”
Adrien did, too. He’d never done any shoots like this during his time as a model. He quit before he was old enough to even have conversations about these sorts of shoots. So he’s spent a lot of time looking at boudoir photos in the last few weeks. Marinette helped him, and it had certainly been nice to discuss ideas with her.
He still doesn’t know why Marinette was so calm about it all—at least, for Marinette’s standards. She fell into her high-pitched, nervous voice when they discussed the shoot; she laughed awkwardly and blushed terribly. But Adrien knew that Marinette had absurdly jealous tendencies. He still didn’t understand why she didn’t exhibit any of that during their conversations about Ladybug.
Adrien had certainly felt a pang of jealousy when Ladybug told Chat Noir.
“I just… wanted to warn you,” Ladybug said. “And—you don’t have to, er—feel bad if you look at them. I mean, not that I want you to look at them! And I think—just don’t tell me. I don’t want to know.”
Chat Noir leaned against his staff and tried for a smile, but it was hard with the anxiety curling in his stomach. He no longer loves Ladybug, but she’s still his partner. He doesn’t want to share her with the rest of Paris this way. He also wanted to promise her that he wouldn’t look, especially if it made her uncomfortable, but he couldn’t very well promise abstinence if he was going to be the one taking and editing each and every photograph.
“My lady,” he finally said, “I would never let this change anything between us. Maybe I’ll even do my own.”
But Adrien doesn’t think that he’ll ever be able to do something like this as Chat Noir. Not only does he have absolutely no desire to get back in front of a camera and let someone else take control of his image again, there are too many photos of Adrien Agreste out there. Someone will inevitably hold up Chat Noir and Adrien’s bodies against each other and put it all together, and then it will be over. He’s grown since his modeling days, certainly, but it isn’t a risk he wants to take.
As Adrien pauses to check over the photographs, Ladybug relaxes into the bed. He risks a glance away from his camera to look at her properly, to shut out the stands and equipment and take a moment to see Ladybug as she is.
Her fingers twist in the ends of her hair, like an anxious fidget. Her eyes are locked with the ceiling and there’s a pinch to her cheek, like she’s gnawing her way through a difficult thought. Her black hair fans out on the red silk just as the black robe does, and as she shifts, it falls from her neck and shoulders, revealing the sharp angles of her collarbone. Her lipstick is the same shade of red as the lace that curls around her breast and her waist. Adrien can’t help but stare.
“Is everything all right?” she asks.
“Yes—” Adrien wishes he could sound less defensive. He glances back down at his camera. “Did you want to see them?”
He sits down on the bed next to her and she leans over his shoulder. A shiver runs down his spine as her bare skin presses against his arm. He has never touched Ladybug’s bare skin before; not in all their years of pulling each other out of danger has he ever been this close with her.
“Is that really me?” she asks.
He laughs, but it sounds as forced as it feels. “Yeah. You—You look great.”
She feels warm against him, too warm. He wishes she would pull away.
“You’re really good at this,” she says.
“Thank you. I think knowing what it’s like on the other side of the camera helps.”
Her brow furrows beneath her mask. It doesn’t shift fluidly with her expression the way the magical one grafted onto her might have, but it tilts and twists with her confusion.
“Have you done shoots like this before?”
“No, no, nothing like this. This is… new for me.” Adrien swallows and stands. His arm feels cold where she had been touching him. “But if they turn out well, maybe I can convince my girlfriend to do one.”
Ladybug crosses her legs and leans over onto her knee. “Oh—do you think she’d like that?”
“She did help me plan this shoot, so maybe?”
Ladybug posed so neatly before, but now she looks small and drawn into herself, hunched over her own legs. Adrien wonders if she’s thinking about her own boyfriend, and how he’ll feel to see her like this. Does her partner know her well enough—love her well enough—to recognize her like this?
“Lean back?” Adrien says.
Ladybug places her hands behind her, fingers pressing deep into the mattress and slipping along the silk.
“Chin up, chest out?”
She does, but the worry in her blue eyes doesn’t fade. The pose should be haughty, a look Ladybug has been giving him easily for the last hour. He wonders why she’s so lost now.
He snaps the pictures anyway, then suggests she lean back on her elbows and look away. If she can’t be haughty, he can redirect and lean into pensive.
But after a few more clicks of the shutter, he has to ask, “Are you all right?”
She turns back to him and stares like she’s wandered in from another planet. “What is it?”
“You just look worried.”
“Oh. No. I—I was just thinking. Your girlfriend—I mean, my boyfriend—I mean—I don’t know if he’d want pictures of me like this.”
“Why wouldn’t he?”
“I just mean I’m not like this, you know, without the mask.”
“You are very pretty. I’m sure your boyfriend agrees.”
It’s hard to tell in the dim lighting, but he thinks she blushes. “I’m a lot more awkward without the magic,” she says.
“You’re not wearing any magic now.”
He doesn’t realize how much attention he’s giving to her breathing until he notices her chest go still, her breath caught in her lungs.
He snaps a photo.
“Oh, I wasn’t ready!”
Adrien glances down at the preview. Her blue eyes are wide and her red lips drawn into a small pout. It’s different from the looks they’ve been leaning towards—powerful, dominant, desirable. Instead, she looks surprised and vulnerable. It’s his favorite picture of the day so far, but it’s clearly not what she wants, not the way she wants others to see her. He deletes it.
“Maybe we should try some of the tease shots?” he suggests.
She shifts onto her knees and reaches behind her to the hooks of her bra. Adrien captures the moment of her unclasping her bra several times before she lays back down on the bed, cups still in place, but backstraps splayed out on the bed.
Then they take a few with the bra cast aside, first with her hands covering her nipples and then with a red ribbon reminiscent of Ladybug’s hair ribbons.
Adrien looks away each time she changes her minimal modesty coverings out, but he can’t help but think about how many nights he spent as a teenager dreaming about Ladybug beneath her mask and beneath her suit. It wasn’t always fantasies like this, but he’d be a liar if he said he had never dreamed of Ladybug like this.
She bites down on her lip and he snaps another series of photos.
Then she puts the robe back on and Adrien’s heart stutters as he remembers what they agreed to shoot next.
Ladybug said she wasn’t interested in full nudes, that she didn’t want all of Paris to see all of her. But they agreed that they would shoot the robe without lingerie.
She shimmies out of her underwear and climbs back onto the bed.
Adrien swallows down a host of anxiety and desire that wells up in his chest as she adjusts herself on the bed. Ladybug leans back against the headboard, one leg bent up and the other out, but her black silk falls neatly between her legs. Adrien’s heart races as she tugs the silk up at her waist so that the V covering her chest pools into something loose and inviting. Adrien can see the lines where her breasts press against her stomach.
“Can you move the knot?” Adrien gestures to her waist, where the knot of her silk tie is hiding behind her thigh. It doesn’t need to be exposed, but it would give the shot more intrigue, though he supposes Ladybug has enough of that all on her own.
She shifts the tie as he directs and shifts all the silk with it.
“May I?” Adrien asks and, with heart racing, fixes the tie for her.
He does everything he can not to brush her skin as he adjusts the way the silk falls against her chest and around her thighs. He checks each wrinkle at her waist to make sure it looks intentionally casual and comfortable. He double-checks the fall of the silk against her chest to make sure the best parts of her are hidden. Finally, he smooths the silk over her thigh and tugs on the ends so that there is only just enough fabric to cover between her legs, but leaves most of her legs visible to the camera.
He catches sight of the tiny, heart-shaped freckle on the inside of her thigh and goes very still. She goes still, too.
“What is it?”
Adrien swallows. “You and my girlfriend have the same freckle.”
“Oh—I’m sorry—I can get my concealer—”
She’s already trying to get out from under him, ruining every bit of staging he has just finished setting. He means to get out of her way and to tell her that he can hide any freckles in post but his brain is too busy trying to figure out why Ladybug just apologized to him for having the same freckle as Marinette.
She crashes into him and he tries to catch himself on the bed, but the silk is smooth and they both go tumbling to the floor.
“I’m so sorry!” she says. “I told you, I’m clumsy without the magic.”
She’s on top of him, and the red silk sheet falls onto her waist, draping over them both. Adrien stares up at her from the plush carpet. She tries to get up, but he grabs her hip and holds her steady. She freezes.
His other hand, as slow and automatic as if it belonged to a machine separate from him, drifts up to her mask. Her breath hitches as he thumbs the end of it, just where it covers her cheekbone.
“Ladybug,” he breathes. They’re so close to each other that he can see the bob of her throat as she swallows.
He knows the next logical thought, but he can’t bring it to his lips. It makes sense, though. Ladybug choosing him, Marinette’s lack of jealousy, the toe nails, the one, single mark on her skin that he’s seen a dozen nights before in Marinette’s bed…
“I’m sor—”
But he cuts off her apology with a kiss. He knew, before he kissed her, but he truly knows it now. He knows Marinette’s shy, hesitant kisses, and the taste of her tongue and the curve of her lips. He feels dizzy as years of flimsy excuses and missed flirting in all directions flood his memories, but it also feels good. It feels right to know that this is how it has always been, that Marinette has always been the girl that he loves.
He drops his head back to the floor and stares up at her with a satisfied grin.
She looks back with panic in her eyes. “Adrien, I’m so sorry,” she says.
But he only smiles. “I don’t know why you’re apologizing. I feel like the cat that just caught the canary.”
✦✧✦✧
Alya yawns and leans against Nino. He pulls the blanket tighter around them and turns the movie up.
Then Alya’s phone buzzes.
“It’s Marinette,” she says, and Nino groans, but he pauses the movie.
“If something happened between Adrien and Ladybug today, I probably should call Adrien.”
“It might be nothing,” Alya says, though neither of them believe it. She leans away from Nino as she answers.
Nino can’t hear Marinette’s words on the other end of the call, but he can pick out the frantic tone. He starts thumbing through his own phone to text Adrien.
Alya frowns and gets to her feet. “Girl, slow down, I have no idea what you’re saying.” Then a grin spreads across her face. “Ah, well, that was always a possibility… No, I’m not saying I planned this on purpose. I’m just saying it’s been years and maybe you should have told him by now… What did you just say about Chat Noir?”

HESPERIA/BETTERFLY kamikotized heroes Headcanons PART 2
Since there is no Stone Heart in this reverse universe, I’m sure someone is wondering what triggered The Supreme to give the two most powerful miraculous to a couple of emo Parisian teenagers.
So let’s do this…. *cracks knuckles and instantly regrets it*
Maybe it’s the etymology nerd in me, but I feel the amount of word play and pun usage in the show is either under-appreciated or lost in translation, so you will have to endure my ramblings behind “Hero” names.
But don’t worry, I will still include the action bits… the situation that called for a Hero, powers, appearance, and any interactions with Shady and Claw since I know THAT’s what you’re here for~
Fire Captain Hessenpy becomes….
Neo-Libérateur!
(Since this character’s name was intentionally ironic/a joke, I felt it important to put extra thought into their name… btw, if you’re lost, Hessen is a very white german for a person who lives in a forest. So naming the Fire Captain Hessenpy is like, the American equivalent of Smokey the Bear.)
Now, in the normal or ‘prime’ universe, in France, fire-fighters are called “sapeurs-pompiers”.
But in our ‘reverse’ universe where The Supreme rules all, after WW2 fire-fighters were re-branded as “Fire-suppressors”, or “suppresseurs- pompiers”.   Sounds much less aggressive, more formal, doesn’t use words like “fighting” which has connotations of violence.
WHY IS THIS DETAIL IMPORTANT??
      ….I’m getting to that, geesh!
You don’t need to be a linguistic expert to figure out that “Libérateur” is the opposite of “Suppresseur”, since they are close enough to English.  But I bet you are lost on the “Neo” bit, eh?   Here is some fun word-play for you;
In French, “pompiers” is an informal way to refer to firemen. HOWEVER, in French “pompier” is also an academic term, a rather negative one, in regards to imitating the conservative painting style of neoclassical artists.
Wow, are you bored? Why should you care?  BECAUSE I’M MAKING A PUN ON HIS PROFESSION AND HIS SUPERHERO APPEARANCE!
This is actually the first Hero that Betterfly/Hesperia kamikotizes.
The Butterfly Brooch grants the wearer an almost telepathic type of Empathy, as we saw in S4, “Ephemeral”, even when not transformed, Gabriel was alerted to the presence of strong emotions nearby, like an emotional smoke-detector.
The wearer of the Brooch can be alerted to intense emotions without intentionally searching for them even when they are not transformed.
This is the case when Gabriel was simply working on fashion design sketches in his atelier (office) when he was suddenly bombarded with an intense wave of terror. Not just the fear of one person, but of many!
Pulling up a live news broadcast on his tablet he quickly identifies the source; a bus that has lost control has caused many drivers to swerve wildly out of the way to avoid collision. But even more concerning is that the bus full of passengers is heading towards the Seine.
Gabriel can hear the screams of each passenger echoing in his own mind, and his pulse races.
Nooru can sense his holder’s thoughts and warns him not to be reckless, but Gabriel can’t possibly do nothing and with his words of transformation, light wings rise and Gabriel Agreste becomes Betterfly.
Just as he transforms, the news footage on the tablet shows that the Bus has crashed into the stone railing of the Pont au Change bridge, and now the Bus is dangling precariously over the Seine… one wrong move and it will tumble over into the river!
He can feel the fear of onlookers, paralyzed into inaction, fully aware of how helpless they are….
The passengers are on the brink of hysterics, perhaps they too are aware of how long it will take rescue crews to arrive at the scene, time they do not have.
Among the sea of chaos and hopelessness, Gabriel can FEEL it- a spark of determination, a desire to do something, courage to take action but not knowing what action to take.
Perhaps the fluttering wings of a moth can fan this spark into a roaring flame.
Off duty Fire Captain Hessenpy’s eyes are locked on the Buss teetering on the edge, so he does not notice the glittering white butterfly that perches onto and melds with his helmet.
But he hears the voice; confident yet somehow soothing. The voice identifies as a friend who wishes to lend him the strength to save those in need. It asks if he will accept this gift for the greater good?
A woman screams as gravity leans the front half of the bus ever closer to a watery grave.
Hessenpy does not hesitate.
He can feel it- unknown strength rippling through his veins in a surge of heat.
He charges valiantly towards the Bus, deaf to the sounds of his uniform tearing at the seams from his suddenly engorged muscles.
Now shirtless, and the remains of what were once trousers just barely concealing his dignity, Neo-Libérateur grasps the sides of the bus like Hercules grabbing the horns of the Cretan Bull, his blue eyes glowing with ferocity, grunting with great effort that for a moment, onlookers could swear some of the brown color from his hair drained from the exertion, making his locks briefly appear blond.
The sharp contours of his body posed in such a way that would put even Atlas himself to shame as Neo-Libérateur hefted the buss further away from the edge until both back wheels were once more touching the ground.
It is only then that sirens fill the air.
Rescue crews have finally arrived at the scene,  winches and tow cables are secured to the bus and it is hauled back away from damaged bridge.
Neo-Libérateur collapses to the ground with exhaustion as soon as the bus doors are forcibly opened for rescue crew members to retrieve the trapped passengers.
The kamiko relinquishes it’s alliance with  Neo-Libérateur, and Captain Hessenpy is left feeling exposed, for more reasons than one, as he is surrounded by both admirers and people with questions.
Letting the wings of transformation fall, Gabriel Agreste releases his own sigh of relief.
But Nooru can not relax. Using the power of the Miraculous so openly is sure to attract The Supreme’s attention!
Gabriel knows, but he had no choice…. He can sense the relief of a mother, a passenger on the bus, holding her infant to her chest in overwhelming gratitude. The baby, oblivious to the danger he had faced, feels only comfort and safety in his mother’s embrace.
This is why Gabriel had to act.
There is STILL good in this world, there are still people who are moved to do what is right without the promise of reward or benefit to themselves. There is still hope of creating a better tomorrow for their children.
Still hope for the kind of future Emelie wanted for Adrien.
Gabriel is not so naive as to believe this task will be easy, but he knows that if he does nothing, if he does not use these powers to at least make an attempt to help those in need, then he is no better than The Supreme.
The News Media is quick to focus the story on WHY the bus lost control, and what precautions will be made to prevent similar occurrences from repeating in the future, as well as discussion of re-modeling the antique
Pont au Change to a more modern design with reinforced safety railings. Time of construction and cost of materials being of the utmost concern.
Captain Hessenpy’s involvement is mentioned only briefly, and swept under the rug with the dull and plausible explanation of a rush of adrenaline allowing for such strength under extreme duress, not unlike that which allows mothers to overturn cars to free trapped children in a panicked state.
No one questions it… Save for an overly suspicious teenage girl.
Only The Supreme knows the truth.
Now he knows that whoever stole the peacock and butterfly miraculous is hiding in Paris.
Based on what has transpired, it seems the thief wishes to play the role of “Hero”.
What better way to lure out a “Hero” than with a “Villain” or two?
The Butterfly’s powers can be tricky to combat against given the long range as well as the diversity of powers that can manifest.
The Ladybug has the best adaptability as well as damage control, while the Black Cat has the best chance of cutting off a Kamikotized Champion’s source of power, even the kamiko itself.
The two of them are too powerful to be handed to just anyone. The Supreme knows that even amongst those who have proven their worth and loyalty to be entrusted with the rare privilege of using a miraculous, the temptation for betrayal is great.
Rather, it would be better to find someone ignorant of the weight of such power.
Please see my first post, “Supreme Identity theory” for further elaboration.
(Hint, hint, you can also see The Supreme’s selection process in my post “Shadybug/Claw Noir Reverse Umbrella scene Headcanon.”  which takes places just little over a week of the Neo-Libérateur incident.)
Idk if I can link to previous posts or not. I’m tech dumb.
Feel free to google Neoclassic art styles if you are still lost on the pun.
Not so much funny as it is dramatic… but this is Gabriel Agreste. You can’t have fashion without drama.

Fandom Crossovers
Humanized, as always :D
Barnacles, Zane, and Martin are the Trouble Trio.
So, I'm going to be doing incorrect quotes.
---
Martin: So, out of curiosity, what's the scariest thing you two have experienced?
Capt. Barnacles: I've nearly drowned, watched the people I care for most become injured, almost fallen from a high ledge, and oh! Lost my former crew.
Zane: I believe- if my calculations have calibrated correctly, the most fear I've gone through is remembering I've wiped out an abundance of population. I had been manipulated and had my memories erased. It was a rather gruesome realization.
Martin:
Martin: I was going to say my power suit malfunctioned, and I turned into a tree. Now I feel bad.
---
Zane, cooking: This is nice- your ship. The technology is admirable.
Martin: You'll have to credit that to Aviva and Koki. They get everything done around here.
Capt. Barnacles: *crosses arms behind back, looking rather serious* I heard your team has their own Octopod.
Martin, freezing: *slowly* Yes?
Capt. Barnacles: I've seen it. It looks like it'll get the job done, but the ship lacks most... How do I put this?
Zane, spinning his head around: I assume you intend to tell him it lacks practical and daily use. Where theirs is designed for singular missions, yours is designed to withstand the elements of many climates.
Capt. Barnacles: Well, of course. It has pods for all necessities. We certainly don't lack in those aspects. It has sufficient engineering, working heating and cooling, a launch bay, and various vehicles designed for any terrain; my crew does an outstanding job.
Martin:
Martin: Never let Aviva hear you two talk like that- I love listening to you talk about technology and the fancy stuff, but- she is a competitive inventor and will try to surpass your technologies.
Zane: Your brother has fangs due to his power suit altering his DNA. Most of Ms. Corcavado's technology is still experimental. Since you started wearing it, it appears your strength has skyrocketed, your sense of smell has improved, and some genetic alters have significantly affected your hearing.
Capt. Barnacles:
Martin:
Zane: Did I say something wrong?
Martin: No, but a lot of things make sense now.
---
Zane, staring at Zach-bots: This is rather amateur technology. I've not seen any android quite like this.
Martin: If the androids in your universe are programmed like you? I'm a little intimidated.
Capt. Barnacles, crushing one of the Zach-bots: What's with your realms and antagonistic heathens? The only thing my crew ever has to worry about is nature and what she brings.
Martin:
Zane:
Martin: We-
Capt. Barnacles: It was rhetorical.
-
Zane, using his elemental power in front of the other two for the first time:
Martin: Oh my- what in the creature world? *excited laughter* I've never seen- you just? How?
Zane: I was gifted with this extraordinary ability. I was designed to protect those who cannot defend themselves. I was seen worthy by the former elemental holder. It's for good.
Capt. Barnacles, staring at the ice: *visibly overwhelmed* That doesn't make any more sense.
-
Martin, lying in the grass: Sometimes I think about those little mini figures in the Night at the Museum and crave that kind of friendship.
Barnacles, staring over: Jedediah and Octavious?
Zane, brows furrowing: If you're referring to Jedediah Strong Smith and Roman Emperor Augustus Caesar, I don't quite see where they'd be friends.
Martin: Oh- it's a movie where the two are little wax figures that come to life at night- with some magical Egyptian tablet.
Zane: But that makes no sense. (As if his realm does)
Barnacles: Neither do your elemental powers, yet here we are.
Zane: Hm.

Doctors Say High Heat is Good for Your Health — Sweat It Out with These Best Home Saunas
Tumblr media
Gone are the days when a sauna was synonymous with a trip to the spa or gym. Today, personal home saunas are flourishing, offering an easy way to reap the many health benefits of elevated body temperature right from your home. Rising evidence supports the claim that regularly using a sauna can improve cardiovascular health, aid in sleep, and even enhance cognitive functions.
Dr. Zeke McKinney, residency program director at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, highlights that one of the primary benefits of sauna use is cardiovascular health. “The heat causes blood vessels to dilate, which increases blood flow,” he explains. Research backs this up, with a 2019 study showing that frequent sauna use significantly reduces the risk of sudden cardiac death and improves overall cardiovascular health.
Beyond cardiovascular benefits, saunas may help with better sleep, reduced inflammation, and the elimination of toxins through sweat, according to Dr. Hunter Scott Waldman, an assistant professor of exercise science. He also notes that while the research is still emerging, there’s promising evidence that saunas may enhance insulin sensitivity and provide mental health benefits.
Choosing the Best Home Sauna
When selecting a home sauna, you’ll encounter a range of options including wet, dry, and infrared models. Each type offers different benefits and features. Wet saunas use water to increase humidity, dry saunas heat the air, and infrared saunas use light to warm your body directly. “Infrared saunas might not need to be as hot since the heat penetrates the skin directly,” notes McKinney, adding that they are often less expensive.
For those with specific needs or limited space, portable saunas and outdoor options are also available. However, if you're looking for quality and versatility, Sun Home Saunas stands out with several excellent options.
Top Picks from Sun Home Saunas
Sun Home Saunas Luminar 5-Person Outdoor Infrared
Price: $9,400
The Luminar 5-Person Outdoor Infrared Sauna by Sun Home Saunas is a premium choice that combines luxurious features with practical design. This model is equipped with industry-leading 10 heaters that offer comprehensive infrared coverage and come with EMF shielding. The digital control system is mobile-app connected, making it easy to adjust settings from your smartphone. Additionally, it features a surround-sound audio system and contoured seating, ensuring comfort even with a full house.
Sun Home Saunas Solstice Outdoor Infrared
Price: $5,999
The Solstice Outdoor Infrared Sauna is another fantastic option from Sun Home Saunas, designed for both aesthetics and functionality. This model features advanced infrared technology and a sleek, modern design that fits seamlessly into any outdoor space. It includes a user-friendly control panel, chromotherapy lighting, and high-quality construction that ensures durability and efficiency.
Sun Home Saunas Luminar 3-Person Outdoor Infrared
Price: $6,999
If you need something slightly smaller, the Luminar 3-Person Outdoor Infrared Sauna is a great choice. It maintains the same high standards of quality and technology as its larger counterpart but is designed for smaller spaces. The sauna includes the same mobile-app control system and audio features, making it a versatile and enjoyable addition to your home.
How to Choose the Best Home Sauna
When selecting a sauna, consider several factors. The ideal model should reach temperatures between 140 and 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Wood options like cedar and hemlock are popular due to their heat-resistance and pleasant aroma. Features to look for include a control panel for temperature regulation, a timer, and auto shutoff for safety. Extras like Bluetooth connectivity, Wi-Fi, internal speakers, and comfort features such as ergonomic seating or tablet holders can enhance your sauna experience.
Additionally, think about the electrical requirements and installation needs. Some saunas may need a dedicated circuit and professional installation, while others are easier to set up and plug into existing outlets.
With the right choice, a home sauna can provide a luxurious and health-boosting retreat right in your own home. Whether you opt for the expansive Luminar series or the more compact Solstice, Sun Home Saunas offers options that cater to a range of needs and preferences.
