Target Group

User Group: Ages 10 to 25

Our target audience includes young players (10-25 years old) who have a variety of motivations:

love for animals

enjoyment of games

interest in educational experiences

This range captures different levels of interest and immersion, from young animal lovers to curious students. The game needs to be versatile, allowing for casual play while also supporting deeper learning about animals.

Nifty 1000 (Classic Mac, collected by HyperCraft, 1995)

A Japanese CD-ROM collection of freeware and shareware programs downloaded from various forums and usergroups (the directory structure is sorted by download source). You can download it here (as Nifty1000.zip) or here.

To run it on modern systems, open this in-browser emulator, then when it's finished starting up, extract the .zip file you downloaded and drag the resulting .iso file onto the emulated desktop.

honestly, as an admin who is friends with my members (and someone with a chronic illness), when someone leaves without notice I just archive their posts and shove their characters into an inactive usergroup which isn't shown on the memberlist.

if they wanna come back later, it's easy to reactivate their characters. I don't understand why people are making such a big deal about being unavailable for a couple of weeks without notice. When life happens the first thing people think of is not "OMG gotta tell my roleplay pals"

I don't have a pithy summary of my gender. I have a variety of partial descriptions for different circumstances, rather like having work clothes, pyjamas, and rain boots. I try to give people straight-forward answers that they can use when they just need an API (for instance, in the work directory that also has information about my timezone and my email address). Being asked to ritually declare my pronouns all the time feels like I'm being compelled to swear allegiance to being rain boots. It feels like I'm being asked to lie.

Also, I have been plagued all my life by other people's emotional outbursts about the gendered behavior they have assigned to me and that they feel I am not adequately fulfilling. I do not feel particularly safe when a social interaction about something else focuses on my gender. I am at the programming language usergroup / knitting circle / book club / restaurant checkout counter to talk about programming or knit together or analyze this book or buy a sandwich. Please don't make me reassure you about my gender.

I still participate in pronoun circles and similar things when asked, because I think there is value in trying to reduce the model that everyone is either he or she and you can always tell by glancing at someone which they are. I just... it's also rough on me.

i think one of the most frustrating things about the “share pronouns in a circle” phenomenon, as someone who teaches, is it has been so entrenched in the “canon” of the “progressive toolkit” that when you reject it for very good reasons, you recieve pushback for not giving space for pronoun sharing, so you just end up doing it anyways. and it really ignores the way it makes a spectacle if there are only a handful of trans people in the room, or even worse, only one

teamIDの取得方法

slackAPI(usergroups.list)からも取得可能だが、web版のslackから取得する方法が簡単だったのでそっちも乗せる

Slackのweb版にログイン

サイドバー > その他 > メンバーディレクトリとユーザグループから対象のユーザグループを選択

https://app.slack.com/client/{clientID}/browse-user-groups/user_groups/{teamID}のURLになるので、末尾からteamIDを取得

メッセージのプレビューはBlock Kit Builder -Slackにて作成可能。
