Thinking about Princess AU again this morning (as one does) and here's a thought: After she disappeared and was presumed dead, Camila and Manny would never forget her birthday. The way ur one of the only ppl I've seen posting about kh who Gets It,,, kh games are about loge and friendship and that's why all of them must have aspects tragedy and grief and loss and loneliness baked in,,,

it’s so good bc it covers friendships being forcibly torn apart by external forces, falling apart because of internal conflicts, and remaining there but changing in nature due to the passage of time in little ways. there are the obvious tragedies of like all the main trios and the dandelions etc, and there’s the tragedy of cases like lea and isa and eraqus and xehanort, and there’s the soft tragedy of the destiny trio specifically who all still clearly love each other but also aren’t the way they used to be because of the new demands life has brought upon them
