How Bulk Buying of 1TB WD Elements Portable USB 3.0 External Hard Drives Can Enhance Your Workflow
In today’s data-driven world, efficient storage solutions are essential for maintaining productivity and organization. For professionals and businesses that require reliable and portable data storage, bulk buying of 1TB WD Elements Portable USB 3.0 External Hard Drives can significantly enhance workflow. This article explores the advantages of bulk purchasing these drives and how they can streamline your operations.
Cost Efficiency
One of the primary benefits of bulk buying is cost savings. When purchasing multiple units, vendors often provide discounts or special pricing, reducing the overall expenditure. For businesses that rely heavily on data storage, this can result in substantial savings. Instead of buying one external hard drive at a time, investing in several drives can help allocate budget resources more efficiently, allowing funds to be directed towards other critical areas of your business.
Consistency and Reliability
When you buy multiple 1TB WD Elements drives, you ensure consistency in your storage solutions. All drives have the same specifications, performance capabilities, and storage capacity. This uniformity simplifies management and reduces confusion when accessing or transferring data. Furthermore, WD Elements drives are known for their reliability and durability, offering peace of mind that your data is safe and accessible when needed.
Streamlined Data Management
Having multiple external hard drives at your disposal can greatly enhance data organization. You can allocate specific drives for different projects, clients, or departments, making it easier to retrieve and manage data. For example, a marketing team might use one drive for campaign assets, another for analytics, and a third for client presentations. This separation helps keep data organized and minimizes the risk of misplacing important files, ultimately leading to a more efficient workflow.
Enhanced Backup Solutions
Data loss can be catastrophic for any business. Bulk buying of 1TB WD Elements drives provides an excellent opportunity to establish a robust backup system. Instead of relying on a single external drive, having multiple drives allows for redundant backups of critical data. You can implement a rotation system, where you regularly back up data to different drives, reducing the risk of losing everything if one drive fails. This proactive approach to data security is vital in maintaining business continuity.
Portability and Convenience
The 1TB WD Elements Portable USB 3.0 External Hard Drives are designed for portability, making them ideal for professionals on the go. Whether you’re traveling to meet clients, attending conferences, or working remotely, having multiple portable drives allows you to carry essential data easily. You can create a travel kit with the drives preloaded with specific files, ensuring you have everything you need at your fingertips. This convenience enhances productivity and allows you to focus on your work without worrying about data access.
Improved Collaboration
In a team environment, collaboration is key to success. By bulk buying these external hard drives, teams can share data more efficiently. Each team member can have their dedicated drive, ensuring everyone has access to essential files without the hassle of shared cloud storage solutions. This fosters a more collaborative atmosphere where team members can easily exchange data, leading to faster decision-making and improved project outcomes.
Conclusion
In conclusion, bulk buying of 1TB WD Elements Portable USB 3.0 External Hard Drives presents numerous advantages for professionals and businesses looking to enhance their workflow. From cost efficiency and data organization to improved backup solutions and collaboration, the benefits are clear. Investing in multiple reliable drives can lead to a more productive, organized, and secure working environment, ultimately contributing to the success of your projects and your business as a whole.

Has it sometimes occured that a theory ask showed some very interesting scenario or possibility that let you want to somewhat incorporate parts of said idea down the line of the story? If you did, what element changed (w/o spoilers oc)?
Nnnnnno.
Tumblr media
I will try to find the kindest way to say this....
This comic is not a group project.
I am not ever looking for ideas, nor am I ever planning to incorporate anyone's ideas other than my own into this story.
The reasons for this are... Mainly the following:
1) the SU fandom is already provably filled with people stupid and stubborn enough to point to the original show and say "Rebecca Sugar stole that plot point from fans!". The show which was written out/planned YEARS before its final plot reveals hit production.
I do not want to even brush shoulders with those people. I am not in the mood to entertain their "oh wow you clearly stole that idea from a comment I made on your comic in 2021" ego trip.
I get that it might sound fun to people to think that they can win the lottery and send me an idea that can come to life through the comic. That would be cool! But from my side, it's a terrifying prospect, because
I DON'T KNOW if/when one of you will try to use your "you can use my ideas if you want ☺️" into "that creator STOLE my WORK and didn't CREDIT me!!!! I have the receipts!!!🤬"
And frankly I am not brave enough to try, so.... Not touching that with a ten foot pole.
And
2) I'm famously not a teamwork person.
I can work great in a team project that was MEANT to be a team project. But White Diamond is not that. It's my story. I have it planned out to the end. I have the things I need, and I don't want to change them or delegate them to others. I don't need anyone's help building out the world. I don't have any desire to collaborate on how things go for WD!Steven. There are no people aside from me who know ALL the plot points in the story (although some friends know more stuff) and therefore no one can give me ideas that will fit perfectly into what I have planned.
The ONLY times anything similar has happened is WAY back, during the comic's earlier stages, when I would sometimes discuss minor plot developments with my close friends and ask their advice on whether I should go for A or B.
But in terms of getting ideas from complete strangers in my askbox - no, that's not gonna happen. I'm sorry, I know that sounds selfish or paranoid. But that's my hard limit on these things.

10 Reasons Why I Love You - Part 7/10.
Pairing: Idol!Felix x Fem!Reader
Tooth rotting FLUFF
Warnings: None lol.
WD: 252
TagList: @miss-daisy04 (<-Requested some Lixie content)

Let me know if you wanna be added to or removed from my taglist :3
Credit: baby-stay92 & @adestayskz (Adé came up with the concept)
Whenever Felix was feeling sad or down, he always loved to bake -this was no news. What was new was how much he loved baking with you. He loved inviting you into the kitchen with him to bake brownies, cookies or whatever else you felt like at the given moment. He simply adored seeing your eyes light up as you read through the recipes, measured the ingredients, mixed things together and in the end, as you saw the final result. It happened often that you had to gently snap your fingers at him, because he was off in some trance from watching you in your element. It all just came so natural to you, like you were meant to bake anything from sweet treats to tarts to even dumplings! He genuinely wondered if there was anything you couldn’t make in the kitchen. He had seen you bake, decorate cakes and cookies and he had seen you cook. You were a true wonder to him and he loved being amazed every time you whipped out a new surprise for him to taste test. It had yet to happen that you had presented anything to him that wasn’t down right heavenly. You usually tried to avoid making anything he wouldn’t like but on those rare occasions where you wanted to try a recipe containing something he didn’t like, you always made sure to also make something for him, so he wouldn’t feel left out.
Your love for baking, that was the seventh reason Felix loved you.

What Is The Main Ingredient of WD-40?
Before you read to the end, does anybody know what the main ingredient of WD-40?
No Cheating.....
WD-40 ~ Who knew!
I had a neighbour who bought a new pickup.
I got up very early one Sunday morning and saw that someone had spray
painted red all around the sides of this beige truck (for some unknown
reason).
I went over, woke him up, and told him the bad news.
He was very upset and was trying to figure out what to do ....
probably nothing until Monday morning, since nothing was open.
Another neighbour came out and told him to get his WD-40 and clean it off.
It removed the unwanted paint beautifully and did not harm his paint
job that was on the truck. I was impressed!
WD-40 who knew?
"Water Displacement #40".
The product began from a search for a rust preventative solvent and
degreaser to protect missile parts.
WD-40 was created in 1953, by three technicians at the San Diego
Rocket Chemical Company.
Its name comes from the project that was to find a 'Water
Displacement' Compound.
They were finally successful for a formulation, with their fortieth
attempt, thus WD-40. The 'Convair Company' bought it in bulk to
protect their atlas missile parts.
Ken East (one of the original founders) says there is nothing in WD-40
that would hurt you.
When you read the 'shower door' part, try it. It's the first thing
that has ever cleaned that spotty shower door. If yours is plastic,
it works just as well as on glass. It's a miracle!
Then try it on your stove-top.
It's now shinier than it's ever been.
You'll be amazed.
WD-40 Uses:
1. Protects silver from tarnishing.
2. Removes road tar and grime from cars.
3. Cleans and lubricates guitar strings.
4. Gives floor that 'just-waxed' sheen without making them slippery.
5. Keeps the flies off of Cows, Horses, and other Farm Critters.
6. Restores and cleans chalkboards.
7. Removes lipstick stains.
8. Loosens stubborn zippers.
9. Untangles jewellery chains.
10. Removes stains from stainless steel sinks.
11. Removes dirt and grime from the barbecue grill.
12. Keeps ceramic/terracotta garden pots from oxidising.
13. Removes tomato stains from clothing.
14. Keeps glass shower doors free of water spots.
15. Camouflages scratches in ceramic and marble floors.
16. Keeps scissors working smoothly.
17. Lubricates noisy door hinges on both home and vehicles doors.
18. It removes that nasty tar and scuff marks from the kitchen
flooring. It doesn't seem to harm the finish and you won't have to
scrub nearly as hard to get them off. Just remember to open some
windows if you have a lot of marks.
19. Remove those nasty bug guts that will eat away the finish
on your car if not removed quickly!
20. Gives a children's playground gym slide a shine for a super fast slide.
21. Lubricates gearshift and mower deck lever for ease of handling on
riding mowers.
22. Rids kids rocking chair and swings of squeaky noises.
23. Lubricates tracks in sticking home windows and makes them easier to open.
24. Spraying an umbrella stem makes it easier to open and close.
25. Restores and cleans padded leather dashboards in vehicles, as well
as vinyl bumpers.
26. Restores and cleans roof racks on vehicles.
27. Lubricates and stops squeaks in electric fans.
28. Lubricates wheel sprockets on tricycles, wagons and bicycles for
easy handling.
29. Lubricates fan belts on washers and dryers and keeps them running smoothly.
30. Keeps rust from forming on saws and saw blades, and other tools.
31. Removes grease splatters from stove-tops.
32. Keeps bathroom mirror from fogging.
33. Lubricates prosthetic limbs.
34. Keeps pigeons off the balcony (they hate the smell).
35. Removes all traces of duct tape.
36. Folks even spray it on their arms, hands, and knees to relieve
arthritis pain.
37. Florida 's favourite use is: 'cleans and removes love bugs from
grills and bumpers.'
38. The favourite use in the state of New York , it protects the Statue
of Liberty from the elements.
39. WD-40 attracts fish. Spray a little on live bait or lures and you
will be catching the big one in no time. Also, it's a lot cheaper than
the chemical attractants that are made for just that purpose. Keep
in mind though, using some chemical laced baits or lures for fishing
are not allowed in some states.
40. Use it for fire ant bites. It takes the sting away immediately and
stops the itch.
41. It is great for removing crayon from walls. Spray it on the marks
and wipe with a clean rag.
42. Also, if you've discovered that your teenage daughter has washed
and dried a tube of lipstick with a load of laundry, saturate the
lipstick spots with WD-40 and rewash. Presto! The lipstick is gone!
43. If you spray it inside a wet distributor cap, it will displace the
moisture, allowing the engine to start.
My discovery, Ants don't like it..................
P.S.
As for that Basic, Main Ingredient.......
Well.... it's FISH OIL....
Now This Is Definitely Worth SHARING!!

⚠️ SPOILERS FOR WONDERLUST EPISODE 16 ⚠️
FUCK IT, I'll just copy and paste my shit because that's just easier, so enjoy my notes for Wonderlust! Apologies for not posting for the last episode, I've been busy irl, BUT I AM BACK WITH IT! Also, I love WD and Ripley, I need them to kiss at least once in this campaign or I will call Bizly homophobic (/hj). Enjoy!
Troy Lougferd (He/Him)
- His real name is Tramilton Lougferd
- Presumably captured by Aeon (Bizly said 'she' for the person who captured Troy), who forces him to stay with Blink
- How does Aeon know his real name?
- If he fails to stay with Blink, he can't go home
- Perhaps that's why he clings to Blink's side, out of fear of what will happen to him if he fails
- There are theories that he's clockwork, just like the soldiers
- He doesn't have a good relationship with his father
- Troy has committed war crimes??
- He has ulterior motives
- I feel like he knows more than he's letting on
- I don't trust him
- Dislikes snakes
- Charlie has mentioned that he will get worse as the campaign continues, but just how bad will he get?
- Dangerous and always seems to do reckless things that get other people hurt, including his teammates
- He doesn't care about the consequences of his actions (i.e., getting Runt, Blink, and Ripley banned from Oasis Flora)
- Did not hesitate to harass Lint after coming back just because he did something to become popular
- Dumb as fuck
- He licked fucking acid, wtf is wrong with him (he blamed Runt lmao)
- He's able to override the clockwork soldiers with a command
- "Lougferd Override: Level 3/4/5/6"
- Genuinely insane, holy shit
- Motherfucker thinks he's a Disney princess with all the animals he's collecting lol
- Envies Grey's relationship with his father (daddy issues, let's goooo)
- Bro downed a potion that made him grow, oh my god-
- He fucking pissed on a fire elemental because he thought it was funny, I genuinely wonder what is wrong with this man (a lot, obviously)
- The weird creature he got in Oasis Flora is now attached to his body
- That isn't concerning at all, nope, totally not /sar
- He is not a girls girl
- Bro's in his male wife era, awesome
- He has a spoiler on his sled now :0
Runt (She/Her)
- She has cousins in the Street Rats, Doppler, and Pinch (he's the leader, I think)
- She lives with her Uncle Threestrings, and her grandmother works at the apothecary
- Doppler gets captured when they go up to the surface and disappears
- Troy tells her that the clockwork soldiers just throw stuff back into the hole, so why hasn't Doppler turned up?
- Due to her failing the mission, she is kicked out of the Street Rats and is no longer allowed to visit their headquarters
- She found a purple crystal known as Wonder Coal while she was on the surface
- Distrusting of Troy after finding out both he and Blink lied about who he truly is (specifically, that he's not Yort or from Reclaim/Cogtopolis)
- Claims to be Is the smartest girl in the city
- Scared of Troy because of his actions and how he's constantly putting everyone in danger
- Hates being called little or anything to do with the fact that she's different
- Needs a doctor (will be discussed in a later episode)
- Her leg braces help her walk, run, and jump better
- She coughed up blood at the end of episode 10 (holy shit, don't kill my gal, I will begin sobbing)
- Her grandma knows that she's ill
- It might be a disease either in her lungs or in her throat
- Her condition began to worsen about 2 months before episode 1
- That's also when she started trying to join the Street Rats
- She's essentially dying (if she dies, I will not be okay)
- The cold does not help her condition (obviously lol)
- Grey admires her strength and her will to keep going, despite her illness (awwww)
- There's an herb on the mountain that can help treat her illness, but it won't cure it
- It lowered the DC of Con Saves and can override a point of exhaustion 3 times
- Found admiration in what Troy can do (I love her so much)
- I think Troy turned her religious-
- I'm so confused TwT
- Nevermind, she's good now
- SHE QUOTED TAL FROM THE BALDUR'S GATE 3 VIDEO, LET'S GOOOO
- She has made it to Cogtopolis, let's go! Time to find the Inventor!
- She referenced Troy's "You dude!" Oh mah gaw
- Nobody believes her when she says that Apollo brought her to Cogtopolis
- She thinks Apollo is very pretty (that's so sweet, aw)
Blink (He/Him)
- Has a history with Aeon, the leader of the Vixens
- They used to be friends, so what the hell caused them to have a falling out?
- Their mutual friend, Candle, was killed because Blink made a mistake
- Knows a lot of people in the Sorting District
- Lives a life of struggle (evidently, he doesn't even have a house, and Graphite lets him spend nights at his place)
- He's very willing to help people out, no matter what (Granny Granite, Troy, etc.)
- Very paranoid and cautious all the time, probably because of the Vixens
- Knows of and (probably) works for The Inventor, but has no knowledge about him
- At risk for a heart attack because of his device and from getting electrocuted
- In a situationship with the Overseer?? Maybe?
- He doesn't have a thing for feet (as Condi said so aggressively lmao)
- Bro is fucking done with Troy (based lol)
- Medusa gave him the confidence to stand up to Troy
- She trained his ass to beat Troy's ass, awesome
- They're besties now, I love that (they do be shit talking Troy)
WD (She/Her)
- She is a fox-hybrid played by Milo :0
- She lives in Cogtopolis and is working on a way out by getting rid of the cave-in
- She's old friends with Ripley, but they got separated because of the cave-in
- She called Ripley really pretty, so I have a feeling that they might be gay :3
- Friends with a koala hybrid named Carpet
- Knows her way around Cogtopolis pretty easily and knows a lot of people
- She works for The Inventor in his secondary lab in Cogtopolis
- A lot of her tools were made by Ripley (we love lesbians)
- She definitely seems to have feelings for Ripley (yippee, lesbians!)
- She hasn't seen Ripley for a while and is desperate to get out of Cogtopolis and find her
Other:
- Clockwork soldiers are patrolling more frequently and can now speak
- Mai is missing after going back home to The Hole
- There are no more races until she is found
- She was in the dungeon that Troy was sent down
- The Inventor is missing after using the teleporter
- The Street Rats are referred to as Relicites by the citizens of Wonder
- People say that they aren't real
- Mai, and Doppler, are at this "Overseer Island"
- Borris mentions The Overseer, but who the hell is that?
- The Overseer is obtaining information from the Street Rats. He has sketches of The Inventor, Ripley, Professor Cross, and Troy
- Why does he have sketches of those people??
- How does he know about the civilization in the hole??
- The Overseer needs The Inventor and needs Ripley captured
- He needs The Inventor because The Inventor will give him power
- The Overseer is suspicious, the way he acts and speaks seems very calculated. It freaks me out
- The Overseer wants Aeon removed from her position of power
- Pinch is working for The Overseer???
- The Overseer hired him to find the Inventor
- He struck a deal with The Overseer to keep Doppler safe
- The Overseer and his soldiers know everything about the Street Rats, including where they live
- It could also be that he has known this entire time that there is a city below his very feet
- Mai is from Reclaim, a bunny-human hybrid
- The Mountaineers are a group of people who live near a mountain that is seemingly very dangerous. They also harvest the Wonderous Coal that is used for power
- The Mountain has 4 tiers, each different from each other. The first tier is a warm, forest area that gave the group 1d10 temporary hit points
- I wonder what the other tiers are like
- There's a chance that since the Wonderous Coal powers everything in Wonder and Reclaim, the forest on the first tier of the Mountain is magical from the coal's properties
- The forest has vague remnants of a place called Farindell (probably spelled that wrong lmao). None of the party has heard of that place
- They also don't know what elves are
- Dark Elves fought Farindell, their place was called Holdstead
- The Wonderous Coal isn't natural, it just appeared out of nowhere. When it originally showed up, no one knew what to do with it
- Fire, Water, and Earth elementals exist in a cave within the forest :0
- There's a stone that controls them
- THEY'RE AT THE PRIME DEFENDERS BASE, TF?? (I need to watch Prime Defenders-)
- Fartbo is there and there's a hologram of Tide talking about the Prime Force
- The statues are of Dakota Cole, William Wisp, Vyncent Sol, and Ashe Winters (I need to get a job and watch this show, wtf-)
- The layers in order are: Prime Defenders, Blood In The Bayou, (to be added to in the next episode)
- APOLLO??? LIKE THE GREEK GOD?? HOLY SHIT, LET'S GOO
- Medusa is here, yippee! We love Medusa
- She is so done with Troy (real)
- She gave Blink a brace that can cast Mage Armor, let's goooo
- She's a girls girl fr
- She's so fucking cool
- GRIZZLY HAS A NEW CHARACTER?! WTF?!
- His name is Julius :0
- He better not replace mah girl (he probably won't, it's most likely just like Goobleck)
- Full name: Damian Augustus Julius Caesar (:0 reference holy shit)
- He ded (I got attached to him TwT)
- Julius and Medusa are both cursed to remain within the maze until one of them can best the other and win the Gods' favor to set them free
- Aeon is at the University of Dreamers and Doers
- H O W?!
- Cogtopolis is entirely within the clock in Airhart. It extends down to Reclaim and this is where the Future Thinkers reside
- It seems like the cave-in has prevented food from getting into the city
- There are mostly Reclaim citizens, as far as Runt can tell
- The people are angry with the Future Thinkers because they are so focused on getting out without causing another cave-in
- Ripley is human, so would that mean the Inventor could be too?
- The Future Thinkers believe there is only one right way to do things and disregard anything or anyone that says otherwise, such as Ripley (she deserves better 😤)

Private Residence is a minimal home located in Xinyang, China, designed by WDS Forward Space Design. The project’s most illuminating detail emerges in its treatment of the bay windows – rather than accepting these conventional architectural elements, the designers boldly removed these “false bay windows” after confirming their non-structural nature, instantly expanding the usable space while setting the tone for a design approach that prioritizes functionality over convention.

I've seen a couple of times how some people compare Tailchaser's song with Watership Down to say how it's more like this one than Warriors.
But to tell the truth don't I think that's not correct either?
Although my knowledge of Tailchaser's song is also limited (Sorry I should really get serious about reading).
I know enough of what's in it and its elements to say that the similarity isn't that close either. The only thing we could say they are close in as "Mythic Xenofiction" stories is the appearance of "fantasy" elements and the use of invented language and a whole mythology, and the odd thing or two in terms of plot or way of writing. And they're not really alike in that either, both tangents go two ways.
Although Watership Down has obvious fictional elements the story feels more grounded in a world close to our own.
All the locations exist. The rabbits don't do things their real-life counterparts couldn't do (except of course, talk and generally be "smarter"), their conflicts are also not "unnatural" things (enemy rabbits, human activity, predators, the weather).
Also while elements of "magic" are present they are not particularly strong or some sort of common element that is actually of regular use in their world. Fiver cannot lift stones with his mind. The "gods" do not come down to earth to talk and interact with the rabbits directly.
There's even a slight hint that several of the El-ahrairah stories never happened as such, or didn't happen as they say they did, but are actually more epic versions of things that other rabbits went through before.
And other things like their society is closer to what they actually do, it's not terribly complex, you also don't have something like other animals also having clans with their own rules or something.
On the other hand Tailchaser possesses all of that. The world is a fictional one, the locations don't exist. Although I don't think it's as criminal as other books the cats are not as particularly “cat-like” (aside from basic things and the body language language which Is actually a good add) in the way they act and take quite a few liberties in writing how their society works, which is also much more complicated with major events, rituals, customs, etc.
It's more obvious that it's a fantasy world because here they don't hide from you that the cat mythology is real. The divine beings do exist, they interact with the characters. One of the threats are literally monsters-thing-cats. Another is also a demon dog-thing that is summoned.
Plus of course, the increased presence of other animal “groups” of their own that interact with the protagonists.
So yeah, I actually think it's *more* correct to compare it to things like Ga Hoole or Silverwing rather than Watership Down.
Which also makes me think that we really need a better system for classifying these stories.
I would think if you want a cat story that actually is closer to WD.
Books like Varjak Paw, Cat House(?), Solo's Journey, In The Long Dark and The Wildings are closer to that tangent.

Mukai Speculation: The Hell is Up With the Divine Wood
So. I've been thinking about potential avenues for Mukai's backstory lately. She is one of those characters that is given very little characterization-wise, however her very existence in her role as a Scar is one of those things that give a lot of people pause. Often with the question 'hey uh what's that 11 year old doing there'.
As such, I thought I'd put down some rambles about the matter here!
One common route I've seen taken is that Mukai was kidnapped by Claw, and it makes sense! Claw’s basically got child kidnapping down to a science, and apparently brainwashing to boot.
Though in regards to the later, I was thinking about Shou's comments in the 7th Division Arc immediately after Ishiguro suggests brainwashing the protags. He seems to imply the process dulls an esper's abilities, turning them into trash/mindless slaves. As such, I think it's safe to assume none of the scars are brainwashed in an unnatural sense, but rather succumbed to Claw's ideals due to personal weakness and/or vulnerability
Back to Mukai, if brainwashing wasn't in the picture I'm thinking either she was kidnapped at a young enough age where under Claw's indoctrination her cooperation never was an issue, or she entered the organization a different way. But if she wasn't kidnapped, then how did this kid end up in the role of a Scar? Well, I'm basing my speculation here primarily on this scene from the manga:
Tumblr media
Quite the info, as it both comes out of nowhere and is never mentioned again. Not unheard of especially for the World Domination Arc in the manga, where the readers get so much thrown at them at once. On its own, there's only a bit we can glean from Mukai's reaction: 1. this was a place she had a lot of attachment to, and 2. it was important enough to be noted by Claw and later destroyed after the 7th Division's defection.
The whole 'divine wood' thing brings to mind an element of spirituality, some spot of nature that's deemed as sacred. This brings me further back to the beginning of WD arc. Prior to Toichiro’s speech, the other Division Leaders are kind enough to grant us some exposition on the extent of Claw’s influence:
Tumblr media
So. Religious cults. It paints an interesting, unseen picture of these different organizations vying for a place at the table when Claw takes over the world. Thinking about it, I had an idea--what if Mukai came from one of these cults?
Probably a bit of a stretch, but I could imagine those special tree(s) she talked about being one of the main fixtures of the group's beliefs, something believed to aid those who paid tribute to it(you know how we love tree cults here). A place that Mukai was taught to be special ever since she was little...it's no wonder her powers would resonate with objects made from there, belief's a powerful thing. And if it was involved in Claw, they would certainly have information about all that on record to dispose of it later.
What's more, it seems pretty common for upper level cults to make things a family affair--and child with powers like that would be sure to grab attention. Money's well and good of course, but what better way to make your organization stand out than to give up an offering of power instead? What if Mukai was given to Claw willingly? And Mukai, well, she's not made privy to any of that of course. But with all the praise for her powers and the promise of freedom to use them, plus her family's pride...it's not hard to imagine how she'd be easily entangled like that.
In regards to her post-Claw life, I think this could open up some interesting possibilities for different dynamics and conflicts to say the least. It's of course a horrible thing for a child to be taken from their family, but maybe in that situation there could be a bittersweet reunion in the end. For a child to grow up realizing they were given up as a bargaining chip, one that the other side didn't even end up wanting to keep(marked as damaged goods, remember?)...that has to be a trial on its own.
Obviously I doubt this is what ONE intended to be gleaned from the whole thing--but hey, it's interesting to think about.

An article published in "The Astrophysical Journal Letters" reports the results of a study of the white dwarf cataloged as WD 0816-310 and of what was defined as a scar on its surface, left by the materials of a large asteroid that got swallowed. A team of researchers used ESO's VLT (Very Large Telescope) in Chile to obtain the information necessary to identify the metallic elements that form that scar and its concentration in a specific area, which is one of its magnetic poles. This result offers new insights into the evolution of planetary systems after the death of their star.

I dunnaur if I posted this but here's two of my OCs as murder drones characters. Surprisingly they fit pretty well into N and Uzi's roles LOL. Rambling abt my OCs below the cut.
SD-K!!! Aka the Disassembly Drone version of my OC Karina Corazon. I mostly made this doodle for her, and I LOVE how it turned out!
Tumblr media
This is what OG!Kari looks like. Her main design elements were water, electricity, and pirate. I don't think the DD version is really giving pirate, but it still looks cool.
The main change I made was making her snow themed instead of water since, y'know. The whole toxic death storm of ice thing. Soooo I made her dress (which is meant to resemble the deep ocean going into waves) into a more snowy look!! Also it's not meant to be that translucent but it just looked pretty uwu.
Lore-wise, I picked DD for her bc she was raised to murder hundreds, with the guidance of a spoopy lil voice in her head. She doesn't rlly understand that what she's doing is bad, buuut after meeting a certain Worker Drone, that changes.
As for her fighting style, in her OG version she was mostly close combat and only used her fists, while also using bursts of electricity to zap towards the enemy. Soooo as a DD, I think she would use her hand blasters to zoom around everywhere. Buuuut unlike her human counterpart, she'd mostly use her blade hand and immediately go for the head.
Now for the other one!!! Jade!!!!! I hate her Worker Drone design, I am going to rework it in the future when I have the energy to do so!!!!
Tumblr media
I changed a lot about her from her OG version. It just doesn't catch the same energy :(((
Anyhow, the only important details about Jade is that she's a (slightly insane) chemist and her family works in security. Which kinds just slots her really well into Uzi's role.
Instead of the boring potions OG!Jade has tho, I gave WD!Jade some BOMBS. Because you can definitely trust this mentally stable child with bombs.
I changed her boring ahhh school shoes for some rubber shoes, which while it does look somewhat better, it kinda doesn't make sense for the snow setting. And before u say anything IK the cold of the storm doesn't rlly affect them, but like. N, Uzi, and V all wear jackets with fur. That's all the reasoning I will provide.
Also those horns she has? Yeah DD!Jade screwed those into her skull. OG version just has a horn headband.
Anyway this was my excuse to share art and also to make lesbian robots. Thank you and good night.

CURSED SOUL MEGUMI! MEET CHIMERA!
From the poll, it seems like this goopy boy was next on the roster. It was more difficult that I thought to get his spikes right. And even now they’re not perfect by any means. I’m a writer not an artist :,)
Anyways! This is Chimera, one of the six guardians in the story. He stays hidden in the shadows most of the time, but will appear if he needs to. His design is inspired mainly by WD Gaster from Undertale. Specifically, the artworks that depict Gaster as a goopy mess. Chimera is similar. The goop is a reference to the goo Megumi’s shikigami turn into once his technique is released. It’s also a reference to Megumi’s domain appearing like it’s made of ink (the domain is where Chimera gets his name). He can only speak in quiet warbles or clicks. He is more vocal through his eye lights, which he can shift the appearance of. He uses this ability to entertain Yuuji at times. It’s like a little picture show for him :)
Onto the drawings! The first one (top left) is the closest I could get to having Chimera look like he is made of ink. The sharpie I used was not the best so he looks more dull without the filter. The second (top right) is what the drawing actually looks like. Chimera has tiny eye lights and does not have too much details on his body or face. He also frequently appears in a tinier form for convenience or out of moodiness. The third bottom left) is my first concept design for Chimera. I kept all the elements the same except I made him goopier and with floating balls of ink. The small chart that depicts the meaning of his eyes is still canon and I’ll definitely be referring to it in the future. The fourth (bottom right) is just to show a sticky note I found at work of tiny drawings of blob chimera ^^
Until next time!

OOOOOOO-
How does the beserkers’ elemental magic work :0
I've explained it before, but thanks to the magic of✨recons✨ I am willing to explain it again (also that was a very old post and I don't want to scroll to rb it.) it's under the cut bc L O N G
Wind berserkers are able to manipulate the air around them, which makes them capable of going at breakneck speeds (sometimes literally). The tradeoff is that when they aren't hunting, they're almost always sleeping. Going mach 5 isn't good for the joints, as it turns out.  ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
Electric berserkers are built for endurance, having the most efficient power sources of all types of berserkers. On top of this, they are able to drain energy from nearby functioning electronics, including other drones.
Flame berserkers are perhaps the most dangerous. Their flames are capable of withstanding the subzero environment of C9 for several hours. They also have the most physical strength, with some reports of them breaking through diamond-plated steal circling around. Their primary food source is Disassembly drones, due to their overheating issues making them easy prey.
All berserker drones possess a weakened solver, but extremely durable bodies. Their limbs can regenerate nigh instantly, before slowing down after continuous dismemberment, to finally stopping and having to use metals and the like to regain their nanites.
They do not overheat, but JCJ had an especially cruel way to make them get the job done. WD and DD oil reacts to a BD's internals, boosting their power and throwing them into a frenzied state. Because of this, BDs hunt other drones to both get that drug-like kick and stave off the robotic equivalent of withdrawal, which is extremely painful for them.
...That took a long time to write out...
