How I imagine the cooking of these characters would be:

Lily can't cook to save her life. She could find the cure for Alzheimer's, but make a soup? Most likely she would create a new disease in the process. But hey, she has immaculate knowledge of the best places to eat and an incredible instinct for finding them.

Regulus is fucking Gordon Ramsay, you get into the kitchen and you walk out with no self-esteem. Unless you are an elf or a child, then he is the nicest person you will ever meet. Once Barty tried to cook with Regulus and Evan had to get him out of there before Regulus could start insulting him in Russian for mistaking parsley for coriander. He ran out of ways to say imbecile in English and French.

Fun fact: he prefers to cook desserts.

Mary is the only person Regulus can cook with, Mary clearly knows what she's doing and more importantly she knows the difference between capeado and battered. Curiously, she learned to cook instinctively, so she sometimes does weird things but they always work.

Sirius can cook, and that's all. It is not the eighth wonder but it is not a crime against humanity either.

For some reason Remus only knows how to make different variations of eggs: scrambled, crashed, poached, hard boiled.

James knows how to cook and he does it quite well, he learned from Monty and Effie but it's not really something he enjoys because he has to concentrate a lot not to forget a step, but if asked he makes a very good risotto.

Speaking of Effie and Monty. Effie makes the most amazing cakes and cookies in the world, that woman could win the British Bake Off without trying. Monty is the one in charge of the food, the heavy dishes and especially the spicy dishes. Curiously, Effie doesn't really like sweets but she does like spicy and Monty doesn't like spicy but he likes sweets, so what they cook they do with each other in mind.

Peter can make every English dish known to man and that's amazing and terrifying at the same time. He is also very good with Mexican food.

Anything Barty does always lacks salt.

On the other hand, whatever Evan does is always over-salted.

Dorcas makes the best desserts. You just have to tell her one and she will figure out how to do it and improve it in the process.

Marlene learned to cook from Mary and is basically her kitchen assistant. She's scared of fire though.

Pandora is like that Tiktok chef who has his show on Netflix and does everything with chocolate. The first time she ate her pencil in the middle of class Evan nearly had a meltdown and Barty cast a spell on her to make her vomit. She's Remus favorite for obvious reasons.

Frank doesn't know how to cook and no matter how hard he tries he always ends up melting a pan.

Alice is an expert in making seafood and she also banned Frank from the kitchen permanently.
