Was feeling sick yesterday and decided to watch Angel Hare for the first time. I was expecting some sort of offensive analogue horror about Christianity, but when I saw what people were saying about it, I got curious. I ended up watching one of the most beautiful and comforting pieces of media I have seen in a while. The themes of escapism and nostalgia really hit home for me.

Please go check it out if you have time. It’s a wonderful twist on the lost media genre and is extremely well made. If you’re like me and grew up watching cartoons and using them as a form of escapism, this show is for you :D
