sorry but snow is such a well written iconic villain and donald sutherland performs him so fucking good it's almost hilarious how i start practically foaming at the mouth every time the man opens his mouth to say something deplorable in those movies, like he's so utterly and despicably wrong about almost every crucial thing from katniss and peeta's relationship to human nature as a whole and yet the second he starts talking about how hope is the only thing stronger than fear and how you have to allow a little hope but control it so its spark doesn't grow into revolution and how it's the things we love the most that destroy us you bet your ass i am on the floor screaming crying throwing up because that is my psychotic mustache-twirling villain RIGHT THERE

[Image Description: A digital painting of a Lego Bionicle Rahkshi facing left and stooped over as if tracking its prey along the ground. The background is black with a bright green vertical shape to contrast the character in front. The Rahkshi is holding its spear in its right limb, propping its body up with it as it holds its face close to the ground. It is rendered as a black metallic material with red eyes. Its hunched shape and angular spines stand out harshly against the green background. End Image Description.]
I got a rahkshi recently and wanted to draw it so here's this - kind of an experiment with studying a real life object and how to pose it into a interesting composition and then replicating the lighting
I got tired of rendering this partway through however :P

I do agree with the post going around about how you cannot, actually, run everything in 5e and hacking 5e is a recipe for GM burnout. What frustrates me is that it's true that there's a dropoff in viewer/listenership for Actual Play using non-D&D 5e systems...but in my admittedly limited experience it's often the most dedicated D&D players who are willing to check out an Actual Play in something different. When I look in the CR fandom at who watches Candela Obscura or the Daggerheart episodes or various one-shots? When I look at who praises TAZ Amnesty and Steeplechase? When I look at who recommends Mentopolis and Misfits & Magic? Mostly, they're people who also are huge 5e fans. I've said it before but, nine times out of ten, if you find someone who complains at how 5e-centric actual play is you will not find a single post about a popular actual play channel's non-5e work (while finding plenty about their 5e series) and usually you won't find many posts about actual plays that never do 5e either.

I am still on my Ducklings that Drown bullshit Oop @thegrimreaperisanerd
I just know this bitch has chronic pain after that crash even years later. And in Martinaise? Where it’s freezing? Forget about it, he’s miserable.
Current hc is that silly little hip tilt when he’s still is the only comfortable way for him to stand and their idle animation stretch does wonders for this poor man’s spine.

I really want to draw something meaty and put some characters into The Situations but I am dealing with a double whammy of art block and some REALLY insane migraine/Sinus issues the past 3 or 4 days.
So all I managed was a quick Solana. I wanted to give her a cool leg prosthetic but then I didn't really draw her legs sdjfdsjkfsdhf So that's the level of cognitive function I am dealing with at the moment
Fun fact! I really dislike a lot of the female turian design! So I just... ignored the parts I disliked lol.
