This was a tough one!

The cold air knocks all the breath out of Patrick’s lungs the moment he steps outside the club. He shouldn’t be here, but he couldn’t leave without saying goodbye.

“You shouldn’t have come,” David says from behind him. There’s no warmth in his voice, but Patrick feels the heat bloom in his chest anyway.

“I had to.” Patrick swears there’s a ghost of a smile on David’s handsome face, but it’s gone as fast as it appeared. “Are you sure you won’t come with me?”

There’s a moment when Patrick thinks David might agree, might give up his life here in the city to chase whatever they might have together, but then his face shutters.

“It’s over, Patrick,” David says sharply. “You should go.”

more rambles, mostly about leon, sorry!: disclaimer, i'm not right. i'm just blabbering, if you think i'm right. cool.

in the original resident evil 4, when ada saves leon, he comments something about it: (trans: A woman with a red dress... it's very familiar.") while in the remake, he got choked and doesn't really waste time on thinking on the possibility of ada returning.

and their meeting on the castle. leon in the og looks probably baffled while remake looks a bit cocky. that's why it's important to mention that even ada is well aware of it as well.

so my theory is that remake leon quickly knew ada was alive. are we gonna doubt that krauser didn't teach leon? og leon was still in the mentality of ada being dead. that's why he thinks only the dress as familiar. and it seems like remake leon is aware of different things than his other self. og leon knows well enough of wesker while remake knows certain details. if i remember correctly, there's a possibility of leon and chris sending emails to each in either veronica or umbrella (i don't remember which one). so, for now, i believe re-leon has been too focused on his missions and working, well, until veronica comes.

what i like about this is that, yes, ada is still very much a step ahead of leon, but leon is more reasonably a step behind than the og. does that make leon dumb in other ways? yes. leon's stubbornness and his frustration with ada is the big flaw he was. is ada willing to answer him? no. but he doesn't even try ask her.

like in the boat scene, he clearly doesn't want to be around ada until they actually speak. leon is obviously venting towards ada. he wants to tell her that he isn't the same rookie, and ada just teases him with, "You haven't changed."

leon is cocky to know enough, but he's too stubborn and spiteful to ask ada anything. he is well aware that ada isn't changing either if she keeps him in the dark like in raccoon city. og leon just accepts his fate with ada.

He feels slick sliding down his thighs.

Eddie growls, dark of his eyes widening to swallow the white. ‘Don’t push, baby.’

Steve licks his lips, slow and obscene. ‘Wanna.’

Rough hands tip his head back, expose the front of his throat. Eddie dips low enough to drag his tongue up the column, over the ridge of Steve’s swollen apple. His teeth catch where it sticks out the most and Steve tries to swallow, realises he can’t.

wait i have another stupid question for the americans rn. i'm trying to work out US tv for a txf fic and i am super confused ?? do you guys just either have normal channels that show regular stuff and then entirely different channels solely dedicated to 24 hour news?

cause like. over here in the uk we'll have regular channels that have movies and tv shows or whatever but then at various points in the day (like 1pm, 6pm, 10pm), there'll be an a half hour/hour slot for the news which is just like. one programme in itself ? and then it goes back to a documentary or something. do not even get me started on cable. what the hell even is that-

The scars from rewriting the Book of E.N.D. run down her face, through her chest, and down her right arm, reaching the very tips of her fingers. It’s unlike any other scar that marked her body. They don’t look like burns, or cuts; they were an entirely different type of battle wound. It looked as though a river of lava flowed deep within her skin.

They’re ugly and unsightly.

Lucy notices the way that the men who would once ogle at her now averted their gaze in horror, disgust, and fear.

What they don’t know, is that the way they look now is nowhere near as gruesome and dastardly as they looked that day in which they etched themselves into her person. They’ve faded over time, not by itself, of course; had Gray not been with her, they may have continued to spread even further, and neither of them liked to think of what may have become of Lucy, had that happened. Wendy had offered her help in healing the scar tissue, and while she had helped reduce dastardly redness, the marks still held its grip on her body.

She hears the snide comments about how the presence of those scars ruin what is otherwise a gorgeous woman, with her long golden hair, sultry chocolate eyes, and a figure to die for. But she pays little mind to what strangers might think of her appearance, much less ones who knew nothing about how she got those scars in the first place.
